How to build a summer kitchen with your own hands. Do-it-yourself summer kitchen in the country: functional features and types How to arrange a summer kitchen

Arranging a summer kitchen in the country gives a lot positive aspects... First, outdoor cooking turns the routine into a pleasant pastime. Secondly, for the period of mass harvesting of canned vegetables, compotes and preserves, you can get rid of vapors and odors in country house... And third - if you equip the summer kitchen with your own hands, then in the future you will not have to look for a place for evening gatherings with relatives and weekends with friends.

Summer brick kitchen with do-it-yourself barbecue

Special aroma and appetizing appearance dishes prepared on B-B-Q, will be appreciated by both adults and children. For the summer cottage, you can buy a factory structure that allows you to cook food on the grill, however, a brick-built summer kitchen with a barbecue oven can serve not only as equipment for frying meat and fish, but will also become a central figure suburban area recreation.

We present to your attention a barbecue oven by E. Gudkov, which you can build with your own hands. It combines all the advantages of a grill and a hob with a hotplate. Taking advantage of detailed instructions, in which the drawings and ordering are given, it will not be difficult to fold such a furnace with your own hands.

Construction of the foundation of the summer kitchen

The design proposed for repetition has an impressive weight, so the arrangement of a good reason for it is imperative. To build a slab foundation, you need concrete reinforced with metal mesh.

Materials and tools

Our construction is not so responsible as to use high-quality and expensive building mixtures, therefore, concrete of the M200 brand will be sufficient. For its preparation, you can use the following ratio of building materials:

  • 1 hour - cement grade 400;
  • 4 hours - crushed stone or coarse gravel (fraction 30 mm);
  • 2 hours - coarse river sand.

Make sure that the content of impurities in the sand does not exceed 10 parts of its volume, and in rubble - a value of 2%.

Using the proposed proportion will require the following consumption of building materials per 1 cubic meter. m. of concrete:

  • Cement M400 - 325 kg;
  • Sand - 1.3 t
  • Crushed stone - 1.3 t
  • Water - 205 liters.

To strengthen the foundation, you will need a mesh frame made of class A3 reinforcement. Starting to mark the base, add 20 cm to each side to the dimensions of the future furnace. With a building size of 1.4 × 1 m, a foundation measuring 1.6 × 1.2 m is laid out.

When starting to pour the base, prepare:

  • narrow, round and square rammers;
  • scraper, trowel, trowel;
  • a probe for removing air bubbles from the mixture;
  • shovels for soil and mortar;
  • trowel;
  • a board for fine leveling the surface.

How to lay concrete correctly

In order to build a solid foundation, it is imperative to consider soil features Location on. Water-saturated, swelling, peaty and other specific soils will require additional strengthening before arranging the base for the furnace.

To mark out foundation, it is enough to drive the pegs into the ground, check the diagonals and pull the cord. In this case, the dimensions of the pit for the tiled foundation must correspond to its size (in our case, 1.6 × 1.2 m). Since the building is intended for outdoor use, the ground under its base will freeze and thaw in winter. Therefore, in some cases, a sand cushion up to 1 m thick may be required.

It will be correct to protect the bottom and walls of the pit when arranging a sand cushion geotextile, which will prevent erosion of the base by groundwater. Ramming is performed in several stages. To do this, add sand every 10-15 cm, which, after compaction, is additionally shed with water.

For the purpose of waterproofing and in order to avoid leaks of concrete into the sand, two layers are laid on the prepared place roofing material... Further along the contour of the pit, every 0.5 m, racks for formwork boards are driven in and fastened with slopes. They fix and moisten the formwork.

Before pouring concrete, perform the installation fittings, for which a grid is installed at a height of 20-30 mm from the bottom over the entire surface of the foundation. Then, using vertical jumpers at a distance of at least 20 mm from the upper plane foundation slab a second reinforcing belt is installed.

They try to pour and compact the concrete in one go. In this case, the solidity of the structure and a certain period of concrete hardening will be ensured.

A prerequisite high-quality concreting is to maintain optimal humidity, so the foundation is covered tarpaulin... After 3 - 4 hours after pouring, they cover the surface of the base of the furnace with sawdust or sand. The concrete is moistened with water for 1 - 2 weeks, until the foundation is completely set.

The formwork is removed only when the corners of the structure acquire sufficient strength. The construction of the furnace can be started no earlier than two weeks after the concrete work.

Construction of Gudkov's barbecue oven

To erect the furnace body you will need fireclay refractory or Red clay brick in the amount of 465 pcs. Refractory material is preferred because it can withstand elevated temperatures with ease. If you decide to use the usual ceramic brick, then make sure that the material is properly fired. Cracks, voids, insufficient firing are unacceptable. Not suitable for barbecue ovens and sand-lime bricks.

In addition, you need to prepare the following oven parts:

  • a cooking stove with one burner measuring 500 × 420 mm;
  • grill 500 × 420 mm for barbecue;
  • sheet metal 600 × 500 mm;
  • door for removing soot 140 × 140 mm;
  • blower door 140 × 270 mm;
  • loading door 270 × 250 mm;
  • grates 300 × 200 mm;
  • metal corner with shelf length 32 mm, thickness 4 mm - 4 pcs. 500 mm each and 6 pcs. 600 mm each;
  • steel wire OE2mm - 10 m;
  • asbestos cord OE5 mm - 10 m.

Masonry mortar

When building a furnace, bricks are laid on a clay-sand mortar using plastic varieties of red clay and coarse sand sifted on a sieve. The ratio of materials is chosen, depending on the fat content of the clay:

  • add to 1 tsp of oily clay - 2.5 tsp of sand;
  • for 1 hour of medium clay - 1.5 hours of sand;
  • for lean clay, the ratio is 1: 1.

You can determine the degree of fat content of clay by the content of sand in it:

  • from 2 to 4% - oily;
  • up to 15% - average;
  • from 30% - skinny.

To prepare working mixture, the clay is soaked for 1 day, and then, gradually stirring, sand is added to it. To prepare the solution, you can also use special high-temperature prefabricated mixtures, which can be found in the retail network.

Furnace body

It is best to start work on the furnace with the construction of a temporary canopy, under which it will be possible to work in any weather. To avoid mistakes during installation, the body of the building can be laid out dry.

Construction begins with wetting the brick. Red ceramic bricks are immersed in water for one or two minutes, and fireclay bricks are rinsed from dust.

Laying bricks is performed with bandaging the seams in half a brick, observing the thickness of the seams from 3 to 5 mm (the lower value is for refractory material). It is important that chips and cracks on the surface do not face inward working chamber or chimney.

As the installation progresses, you will need to install oven appliances. To ensure the reliability of the structure, to metal parts the ovens fix the wire, which is embedded in the masonry. Since metal and ceramics expand in different ways when heated, it is imperative to make a thermal gap of 3 - 5 mm, which is subsequently eliminated with an asbestos cord.

Ordering

After the level of the combustion chamber is completely removed, a brazier or metal grate is installed on the corners comfort plate.

Metal corners are also used as a support when arranging a vault. The chimney can be 270 × 140 mm, 270 × 270 mm and 400 × 140 mm. To reduce the formation of soot on the inner walls of the chimney, they are plastered.

For finishing the barbecue oven, plastering, pasting with tiles or tiles, as well as simple jointing are used.

After the summer kitchen with barbecue is built, do not rush to test the oven at full capacity. To avoid cracks, the stove must be heated with small portions of wood for a week.

Do-it-yourself summer kitchen in the country. Step-by-step instruction

The proposed design of the summer kitchen combines hob, a small Russian oven, as well as work surfaces that provide additional convenience in the cooking process. Installed under a canopy made of boards or polycarbonate, the open kitchen will take over all the responsibilities of preparing all kinds of dishes and seaming in the summer.

The main materials that will be needed for construction:

  • cinder blocks;
  • red or fireclay bricks;
  • finishing materials;
  • formwork.

Having chosen a place for future construction, they begin to draw up drawings and calculate the amount of materials. The step-by-step instructions below will help you organize all the stages of building a summer kitchen.

The foundation for a summer kitchen. Photo

Foundation construction

Having marked out the pit for the foundation with the help of pegs and a cord, they begin excavation work. Having reached the depth of the pit of 35 cm, its walls are strengthened with formwork boards, and the bottom is covered with a 5-cm layer of gravel and compacted.

Equip two-layer armored belt made of metal mesh and vertical steel rods. Make sure that the reinforcement does not touch the boards, and after pouring it was protected with a layer of concrete with a thickness of at least 20 mm.

After pouring, the concrete is compactedvibrating screed, cover with foil and leave for 2 weeks until complete setting.

Hull masonry

Laying begins from the corner, constantly controlling the geometry of the rows and corners using a level and a plumb line.

To shift the rows by half a brick, the laying of the second row begins with a bandage.

Having passed two rows, they equip the blower by mounting its door into the front wall. In the overlap of the working space, a grate is installed above the blower, and the combustion chamber door is installed one row higher. The combustion zone itself is made low, one or two rows of bricks above the loading hole, otherwise the flame will not reach the stove with combs.

The furnace body is erected at a height that is convenient for further operation.

After completing the masonry, the seams are filled with mortar and smoothed with a float.

Tabletop installation

Arrangement of the working surface begins with the laying of support rods from steel reinforcement... Formwork is mounted on them, which is poured with concrete.

After the concrete has set, the worktop is finished with flagstone, carefully leveling separate fragments and the gaps between them. At the final stage, the walls of the summer kitchen are plastered or revetted with heat-resistant finishing materials.

Choosing a stove for a summer kitchen

Of course, in the summer kitchen, you can install an electric stove or gas stove working from a cylinder with liquefied gas however, for real delicious food obtained in a real wood-burning stove. In the carefully heated space of a miniature Russian stove, you can cook hot dishes in cauldrons or bake surprisingly aromatic pies and pizza.

There are many articles written about how to put the stove in a summer kitchen. Our design uses the simplest scheme of a Russian stove. For its construction, a semicircular vault with a side channel is performed, which is led out into a common chimney.

The outer cladding of a wood-burning hearth can be made of sandstone, carefully adjusting the fragments of the trim to each other. After that, the seams are filled with mortar and smoothed with a spatula and a float.

Summer kitchen roof

After the oven and the working area are equipped, they begin to equip the roof of the summer kitchen. To maintain the style in which the proposed construction with a wood-burning stove is built, it is best to make a gable roof.

The roof of the summer kitchen with your own hands. Photo

To do this, a frame is installed around the workspace from timber not less than 100 × 100 mm in size, after which an overlap is made of wooden planks, metal tiles or other materials.

Summer kitchen design and finishing options

When equipping a summer kitchen, I want to get not only the functionality and convenience of an open working area, but also a beautiful structure, designed in the style of other buildings and structures of the summer cottage. A kitchen located near the house can be placed on a large veranda adjacent to one of the entrances. A well-equipped barbecue area will eliminate the need to install a portable grill. Around the summer kitchen are planted ornamental plants and shrubs. If there is a need to shade structures, then all kinds of arches and props are used. A pergola installed near the summer kitchen will provide the necessary shade on hot days and create a secluded corner for leisurely conversations and get-togethers with friends.

What elements should a summer kitchen consist of?

If you properly equip the summer kitchen, then it will be a pleasure to be in it in the summer. It is not hot to cook there, canning is convenient, the floor in the house does not get dirty with dirty shoes, and it is quite pleasant to dine in the open air.

But, if you choose the wrong location, then instead of convenience, you will get an extra headache and unnecessary fuss: transferring dishes, cans to long distance, running back and forth.

Therefore, let's immediately determine what must be present in the summer kitchen:

  • Cooking oven
  • Brazier
  • Dishwasher
  • Cooking table
  • Cupboards and jars
  • Shelves or hanging boxes for dishes
  • Dining table and chairs

These are all - the main elements, without which it will not be very comfortable to use the room, and they should be in any case. And there are also auxiliary ones, without which it is quite possible to do without, but if they are present, then it certainly will not be worse, only better.

  • Cellar adjacent to the summer kitchen
  • Small wood log
  • Sofa
  • TV set
  • Swing

As you can see, if you add these modules, then the summer kitchen will be multifunctional, cozy and you can spend almost the whole day in the fresh air.

Where should the summer kitchen be located?

But success depends not only on the choice of elements. The main thing is the location! It used to be customary to build a summer kitchen as a separate house without heating, away from the main building.

Now it no longer seems convenient, since it is difficult to bring communications and the building itself does not look very harmonious in the middle of the yard.

The best solution is the location of the summer kitchen - adjacent to the main house, and in such a way that you can enter it from there. Or from the main door, or from side entrance... Also good options were discussed in the article "".

Also, choose the right wall to which the summer kitchen will adjoin. If you attach it to the one where the main windows of the room are located, then the house will become dark and damp, from the fact that sunlight does not enter. Better that it was a blank wall with a side exit.

If you want to equip a cellar adjacent to the summer kitchen, then do not forget important thing: a large hole cannot be dug next to the foundation of the house, since in this case the layer of earth may sink and the structure will roll. Therefore, you need to dig it at least 3.5 meters further from the foundation.

More important point: what type of premises you will have. An open area or a full-fledged annex in the form of a veranda. Let's take a closer look at this, since hasty savings at the planning stage can then turn into long-term frustration and regret.

Open-type summer kitchens

They have their own advantages, the main of which is the budget. In order to organize such a zone, a lot of costs are not needed, there is no need to fill the foundation, put up windows, erect walls. The only thing you need:

  • Concreting the area for the kitchen
  • Erection of support pillars under a canopy
  • Roof deck
  • Construction of a stove and barbecue
  • Organization of the working area and washing

That is, the consumption is reduced by at least two times. But besides the budget, there is another plus: the space is open, where there is a pleasure.

True, only in good weather... But for bad weather there is a main kitchen in the house! And is there any point in equipping another one? Let's be clear on this point as well.

Summer kitchens closed type

Why did they make summer kitchens separately from the house before, in the form of detached houses? Mainly because it was used stove heating and during the conservation season, during cooking, the walls of the summer kitchen were very hot. And if the main house were so heated up, then it would be simply impossible to sleep in it. To spread outdoor ovens, like the "finca", then did not guess, apparently.

Also, the summer kitchen was used as a guest house in case guests arrived. There they put a sofa, a wardrobe, and also made a separate household block for storing boxes, glass jars, nets for drying fruits, herbs and other equipment for blanks, of which there were many.

And besides that, they made animal feed, mixed and crushed grain, beat butter, etc. Therefore, the premises had to be closed so that in case of bad weather the mass of provisions would not be damaged.

Now, few people are engaged in cultivation livestock and original purpose closed kitchen lost its rationality. And a guest house is not always needed, since any extra room in the house can be used for these purposes.

So, now there is no special need for the construction of a capital structure, but making the summer kitchen completely open is also not an option. The best thing - combined type and below you will find out why exactly.

Combined summer kitchens

You can combine it in different ways. You can make an area with an oven, a work table and a small utility block indoors, and dinner table leave under a canopy, or vice versa. Some people really enjoy cooking outdoors.

But the best option is to make the utility block in the form of a closed room adjacent to the terrace, and leave the stove, work table and dining room just under a canopy, but with a slight amendment: fix sliding shutters under the roof, which can be closed in case of bad weather. Or, immediately make glazed frames, some of them so that they move apart, forming an open area.

But the utility block should be with walls, since during long rains the vegetables that are stored there can become damp. If you have a cellar instead of a utility block, then even better!

What is the best way to make a roof?

Of course, it would be nice if the roof of the summer kitchen was combined with the main covering of the house. Especially if the summer kitchen is adjacent to it.

But doing so does not always work out for only one reason: now it is not uncommon metal roofs, such as metal tiles. And if on the main house they are insulated from below, sheathed with wood, which guarantees some sound insulation, then in the summer kitchen there is no need for such things.

And if the canopy is made of metal, then you simply cannot be there in a rainy time. The knock will be so strong, peculiar and unpleasant that all the charm of food in the fresh air will be nullified and you will have to urgently retreat into the house.

Therefore, the main thing: choose a roof that does not knock even without additional sound insulation: slate, shingles, bituminous shingles.

What kind of floor should a summer kitchen have?

Do not forget that the summer kitchen was created so that you would be comfortable using it in the summer. And in summer, as a rule, all owners of private houses spend a lot of time in the garden, and then, with dirty feet, go to the summer kitchen.

Therefore, there can be no question of any wooden flooring, it is simply impractical. The best option is outdoor tiles. It can be stained three times, and then easily washed even with a hose (provided, of course, that your site is open and without large sides).

Oven in the summer kitchen

There are many options. The simplest of them is the installation of the usual gas oven and a balloon. Still, it's better to spend a little more effort initially and lay out a real, wood-burning stove. It is much more economical during the conservation season, while building it is not as difficult as building it at home. And she looks much more comfortable, whatever one may say.

You can make a very budgetary "finca", or you can make a whole complex, including a brazier, a cooking place, a built-in cauldron, a place for firewood. It all depends on your imagination and financial limit.

Chimney made of bricks, which, when built, home oven comes out more expensive than the cooking surface itself, in summer version can be replaced with an inexpensive galvanized pipe.

Cellar in the summer kitchen

Believe me, this is very, very convenient solution! If you still don't have a cellar, then better place hard to come up with for him.

And most importantly, do not skimp on its area inside and the convenience of the descent. Dig a small hole, then go down wooden stairs standing upright is stupid. Then you will regret the hasty decision ten times.

It is better to make the cellar large, wide and with a gentle slope. Let it be initially more expensive and more complicated, but then all your life it will delight you.

The optimum depth of the cellar is 3 meters down. Do not do less, otherwise it will always be damp and there will not be a stable temperature.

The width is about three by three meters. For descent - about 1.5 meters, while the entrance should be from above, in the form of a separate entrance. That is, a hole is dug, and walls are formed at the place of descent, which gradually come to naught.

Be sure to consider the location groundwater Location on. If they are close, then the cellar is not worth digging at all, since with a shallow depth there is no special sense in it.

Washing in the summer kitchen

Without her - nowhere! Running to the house or to the well is inconvenient. Try to put a double sink right away, since one compartment is always small in the open air.

Also, be sure to place a small water heater over it. Better yet, put a 100-liter tank on the roof of the building for warming up by the sun, or bring the sink to the summer shower tank.

Work table in the summer kitchen

Here it is necessary to make not only a tabletop, but also cabinets with shelves. It will be difficult to accommodate comfortably without them. Moreover, if you do not do this, then in case of bad weather or hail, you will have to immediately bring all the dishes and equipment into the house, which will cause a lot of trouble.

Also, if there are no shelves and cabinets, you will have to take the necessary cooking utensils out of the house all the time, and if there are convenient storage places, they can be there all season.

Dining area in the summer kitchen

One thing can be said here: always count on the maximum number of people who can sit at your table, and not only on weekdays, but also on holidays.

Don't make this place too narrow. The minimum width should be 3 meters, and the length should be at your discretion, but approximately, about the same 3 meters.

Here are examples of a good arrangement of tables in a summer kitchen:

Swing in the summer kitchen

Very unusual solution, while adding coziness. In America, it is customary to hang a swing on a terrace, but we can easily place them in a summer kitchen, especially if it is of an open type. See how great it looks in the interior:

They can be placed in any convenient corner of the summer kitchen. The main thing is that they do not interfere with sitting at the table and cooking.

Summer kitchen design in a private house

The most important thing, namely functionality, is what we've discussed. Now let's talk about beauty, which is equally important. The design of a summer kitchen in a private house can be so interesting and unusual that it will make all passers-by stop and consider your building.

Here are examples interesting options summer kitchens that you can take as a basis when planning:

In conclusion, I would like to say that a summer kitchen in a private house is a necessary thing and if you have a question whether it is needed at all, then we can answer: it is absolutely necessary!

For a summer residence, many plan to order or build a summer kitchen with their own hands: this is a very simple design, which makes it possible to relax in the fresh air and at the same time cook food. The structure provides a stay in the personal plot with special comfort. It requires the arrangement of a special site using materials at hand.

Simple or complex kitchen design

If we supplement the idea of a simple summer kitchen, then only after making the appropriate changes to it:

  1. The place in the gazebo, reserved for the kitchen, can be made elongated in order to install a stove in it.
  2. Replace the hexagonal arbor rectangular building.
  3. Converting the dining room of the summer building.
  4. Replace the canopy with a conventional closed structure.
  5. Leave the area in front of the entrance to the building open.

Such schemes for the construction of simple summer dining buildings are a popular addition to small cottages, which are located near water bodies. It is ideal to use a block of wood to assemble the frame of the structure, its roof and the beams of the glazing frames. Indoor and outdoor floors open area can be laid out from decking, for the manufacture of which sawdust and a polypropylene binder are used.

Another option summer building can become a structure where the kitchen is frame structure, the walls of which are built of bricks and wood, that is, they consist of 2 parts. Back wall can be laid out using red bricks.

The lined wall should be a continuation of the base of the stove and the working space of the kitchen.
At the end of the room, doors are hung from boards of a conventional design, consisting of 2 leaves. Alternatively, you can lay out a fireplace with chimney and a hood. The front wall can be decorated with a three-section glass unit. The dimensions of the structure are usually 4x3 m, which is quite enough for such a structure.

Your own summer cottage, which is not filled with outbuildings, can be equipped with an additional structure. It can be a summer kitchen made of timber, which is universal design... If the project involves laying a stone stove, then this task is the most difficult. An additional foundation will be required, so it is better to entrust the work professional craftsmen.

Simple summer building

Summer kitchen projects for the summer cottage are presented in huge amount on specialized sites. You can choose a glazed room or a room open on all sides with a fireplace and stove. It should be designed in the same style. For example, furniture can be made from materials at hand. Everything is determined by the needs of the family and the state of its budget. It is important not to miscalculate with the installation of the stove and the assembly of the construction of the summer kitchen for the summer cottage with your own hands.

Dignity simple room summer buildings can be realized not only during the warm season, but also during the cold one. The features of the structure to be equipped should depend on how often it will be used: constantly or exclusively in the summer. Usually on the territory of personal plots there are no separate food blocks with barbecues.

It is hot in summer and there is no particular desire to waste time making food. In this case, arranging a summer kitchen with your own hands should make life easier for many summer residents. Summer kitchen under covered canopy is an ideal option for personal households. The device of such a structure differs from the usual construction of a building, but the general idea resembles the construction of gazebos or verandas with a stove or barbecue. The elements included in the design of the kitchen are as follows:

  • oven for a summer kitchen with a hood;
  • a canopy over the kitchen and a place for organizing a feast.

The structure has a rigid concrete pavement, usually it is a tiled area. This could be wood flooring. A summer kitchen in a private house usually looks like an extension, which allows you to create a structure that is easier to install, which reduces construction costs.

The options for the summer cooking extension may vary. A simple kitchen should be under a canopy or in a gazebo. One load-bearing wall- this is the best option for such a building, which allows you to close the kitchen and feast from any drafts.

Summer kitchen options

You can begin to resolve the issue, having decided on the budget of the future structure and the place for its construction. Previously, you should imagine the future design, draw up its scheme, taking into account your own needs. In most cases, summer kitchens for summer cottages are built in following options:

  1. A simple kitchen design that takes up little space under the canopy.
  2. A platform with a canopy of 10-15 m², with an additional place where you can cook food on the grill or stone brazier.
  3. Closed room, equipped with a ventilation and air heating system.

In the first case, the site should be removed from the main building or resting place. Often this type of kitchen design is 3 m². The option involves the installation of a stove, the presence of kitchen utensils. The room must be closed from bad weather. It is usually found around outdoor terrace or verandas.

The area of 10-15 m² for the kitchen is spacious, providing for the presence of a dining room and a conventional partition, a bar counter and additional rooms. In a summer kitchen with a ventilation system, there may be a basement room for storing food. The correct choice of a place for installing a kitchen may involve the construction of a gazebo, which must be equipped with an oven and refrigerator. Even the simplest design of a kitchen with a barbecue should have a gutter to drain water, possibly a water supply.

How to equip a simple kitchen option

Summer kitchen construction is the most successful. If such a project is thought out in advance, then it will not cause various problems during its implementation. The room is conventional design, which can be erected by hand.

Among the main difficulties that need to be solved in the process of arranging a summer kitchen, there may be the following:

  1. The discrepancy between the choice of a conventional stove and its installation inside the kitchen.
  2. At the same time, it will be necessary to solve the problem of arranging the chimney through the roof covering.

The room itself should be comfortable and warm. It requires excellent ventilation without drafts. It is best to choose the usual angular placement of the building or the installation scheme for the frame with walls and window openings. The room must have a dining room, therefore the best option can be the usual setting of the dining table along the table top.

Simple options summer kitchens are suitable for small summer cottages, but also suitable for mansions. Installed on wood flooring a kitchen structure raised above the ground with a light foundation can be covered with a sectional canopy. This will allow you to take advantage of the available space for safe cooking and rest. For such a room, it is enough to provide a gas-cylinder stove and an exhaust hood. As a result, a minimum of waste and pollution can be achieved when this option is compared with the use of firewood.

The design of the summer kitchen can be placed inside a hexagonal glazed gazebo. The dining room is located under a canopy. The closed design ensures compliance with sanitary and hygienic standards, assumes normal storage of product stocks.

The dining table and chairs are moved under a canopy, which does not interfere with free movement from kitchen to dining room. A team of 3 people will be required for the construction of the summer facility. It can be done within 10 working days. The price of an ordinary building is approximately 25 thousand rubles. Of the usual options, this design is more convenient and comfortable, so summer residents often choose it for their plots.

Preparation of the foundation and construction of the structure

A do-it-yourself summer kitchen can only be built on a separate foundation. The back wall is laid out half a brick wide from a red sample. A large stove and a worktop can be attached to the back wall.

The initial stage of construction is associated with the arrangement of a conventional shallow foundation, reinforced with a grid of hot-rolled rods with a cross-section of 10 mm. A tape 55 cm wide under the body is often poured along a contour in the form of the letter P. A foundation is required under the furnace.

Combining stove with fireplace

After pouring the base, columnar supports are mounted vertically, on which a gable-type roof can later be placed. In the far corner of the building, you can place a stove, possibly combined with a fireplace. This simple method allows you to connect the stove and fireplace under a common chimney... The fireplace itself is made by the usual scheme... The kiln is built using the kiln masonry technology. Fireclay bricks are used to lay out the combustion chamber.

Arrangement of roofing structures

Tie the vertical support pillars using a horizontal bar. The following elements are installed on it:

Waterproofing is being installed on the rafters and lathing is made of slats for laying the tiles. The roof can be made of profiled sheet or bituminous shingles... The floor in the room is laid out of ordinary clinker tiles on a sand base.

For structures with a wood or coal stove, this option is safe if the floor in the building is made of wood. The front wall of the structure is reinforced with a horizontal cross member, and then the entire surface is sewn up with clapboard. After that, you need to insert into it window frame.

Fasteners should be stuffed onto the facade frame and doors with 2 leaves should be hung. The opening comes out wide, which provides access to light and air, especially in the evening. The choice of any option for a summer kitchen must be compared with your own capabilities, if you want to implement the project yourself.

Suitable options are not only modern technologies the construction of gazebos, but also outdated methods. It is also possible to equip the roof and floor with the help of inexpensive materials. The duration of the structure's operation depends on the quality of the work on its arrangement.

How to equip an economy version of a summer kitchen near the house? For example, your summer kitchen can be located on a ready-made terrace, as in these photos. Or, by considering this summer kitchen project, you will discover hidden reserves for building a simple summer kitchen in your summer cottage too.

This summer kitchen includes: a work table with water supply, electricity, electric oven, barbecue and a movable dining table.

In order to build a summer kitchen quickly and with minimal cost, it was decided to use the space on the terrace next to the house, which was already equipped with a transparent polycarbonate canopy.

The complete construction and arrangement of the summer kitchen took two months, taking into account the fact that they worked mainly on weekends.

In order to create a more weather-protected place, the rear part of the terrace was sewn up tightly, and the side part was decorated with wooden slats.

Such slats provide practical wind protection, but do not create strong shading for the windows of the house.

The summer kitchen work table is made on wooden frame... It provides a shelf for storing kitchen utensils. For reliable protection from bad weather the table is painted with a special paint for wood for outdoor use.

The table top is made of glued wooden beams, we cut a hole in it under the sink.

The work table took its place against the back wall of the terrace. At this stage, electricity was supplied to the summer kitchen - for lighting and electric stoves. We also made a water supply to the desktop with a hose, which will be turned off and removed for the winter. To save money, they did not drain under the sink at this stage: in fact, the sink is an ordinary basin, from which water can simply be poured into the garden.

In the summer kitchen, you will also need a dining table, which is made movable, because the main dining area is in the large gazebo next to the terrace.

This gazebo is used only on fine days - at this stage it is not even a gazebo, but just a corner near the fence.

A canopy was made for the gazebo and light curtains were hung to protect from the sun. On this, the main construction work was completed.

Summer kitchen photo arrangement.

After all the basic elements of the summer kitchen were ready, it was possible to start the arrangement.

Everything was done with minimal cost: as kitchen shelves wooden fruit boxes are used, a branch from an apple tree was adapted to illuminate the kitchen.

A small budget doesn't mean you can't afford pretty cute details like this sunken crate of plants and gravel.

After all, if the other side of the terrace is used for garden work, she can be beautiful too.

The most beautiful and inexpensive garden elements are flowers.

They can be placed anywhere - in drawers, on shelves or just on the floor.

Because the summer kitchen is small - any place is used as efficiently as possible, so, Bottom part the table is used to store dishes.

The barbecue has also taken its place in the summer kitchen.

The side surface of the terrace next to the work table is additionally covered with a curtain from the wind.

The need for availability summer kitchen in the country in most cases there is no doubt, except perhaps not big size plot on which to build a house, and simply nowhere. Indeed, such a construction adds to us a fair amount of comfort on summer cottage, especially if you add to it the functions of a dining terrace, a gazebo for friendly and family gatherings and a convenient area for preparing meals on an open fire of a barbecue or barbecue.

Summer kitchens in the country: photo

The main difference is that, despite the decoration, various materials in decoration, formation of walls, roofs, flooring, main function cooking and storing food supplies should be, therefore, it is around this that the entire room should be built, and already additional options, such as a dining area with upholstered furniture and a large table, decorative fireplace, near which you can sit, an area for children's games, and so on - all these are optional acquisitions.

So, if in the project you do not see a convenient cooking zone, conveniently and ergonomically placed devices and utensils, then such a building can hardly be classified as a kitchen building.

There may be many reasons why we will need in suburban construction. One of them is the requirements fire safety if you live in an area without centralized gas supply and use compressed gas cylinders for cooking.

In this case, it is imperative not only to remove the kitchen outside the residential building, but also to make it as ventilated as possible in case of a sudden gas leak.

The second reason is that country houses are largely not designed to withstand the significant freezing temperatures that are so frequent in the summer months; working indoors on such days becomes a real test of strength.

And in a separate building, you can come up with not only a ventilation system or completely open walls, but also choose building materials so that the air inside the room remains cool, even in the most intense heat. By the way, this is also useful for high-quality storage of all food supplies, which, according to the norms, cannot be stored in the refrigerator.
