Beginners in Minecraft: everything a new player needs to know. How to play Minecraft - complete instructions! What you need to play minecraft

It is likely that you will have many questions. This beginner's help (guide) will help you understand all the intricacies of the game. In the Minecraft game, you need to complete various tasks that appear as the game develops. In the world of Minecraft, you can build or transform anything according to your imagination.

Game time features in Minecraft.
A day in the game takes 20 minutes, a day lasts 10 minutes, a night passes in 7 minutes. 1.5 hours is given in the morning and the same in the evening. At night, almost nothing is visible and monsters appear.

Game character control.
Movement is carried out using the keys w, a, s, d. The jump is carried out by pressing the Space key. To duck, you need to press Shift. Access to the inventory is carried out by pressing the E key. You can use the items on the belt by pressing the keys 1-9.

First steps in the game
After starting the game, the very first thing to do is to make tools and create a shelter from monsters. All this must be done before night falls in the game.
Tools are made from wood, which can be obtained from trees. To get wood, you just need to press the left mouse button and beat the wood with your fists until a piece falls off of it. For the first time, 10 blocks of wood are enough.
Now you need to find a place to hide for the first night. For these purposes, the top of a hill or a small mountain is perfect. To build a shelter, you need to process wood into planks. By pressing the E button, we open the inventory and using the character slots we get 24 boards, while spending 6 blocks of wood.
From the boards you need to make a workbench, which will later come in handy for you to make tools. You will also need sticks that can be made from planks. For the first time, 12 sticks will suffice.
The first shelter can be built from earth, but if there is a stone nearby, it is better to use it. You also need to build a furnace in the shelter, for this you need to find rock and get 20 stones.

Use of tools.
With the help of boards and sticks on a workbench, you need to make the first tools - a pickaxe, an ax, a shovel and a sword.
With a pickaxe, you can quickly chop a stone, with a shovel - dig the ground, an ax is used for cutting trees, and with a sword you can defend yourself from attacking monsters.

Home furnishing.
To protect yourself from monsters, wall up the entrance to your home. When you have mined stones and built a furnace, you can start making torches. To do this, you need to open the furnace, and put a board in it - at the exit you will get charcoal. Make at least 5 pieces of coal. Open your inventory and use the stick and coal to make the first torches.

After completing this short instruction, you will have a dwelling, a workbench, an oven, a pickaxe, a shovel, an ax, a sword and torches in your arsenal. This is exactly the minimum that will allow you to successfully complete the Minecraft game in the future.

It means that you have already become a part of one of the largest gaming communities in the world, and it will be useful for you to get acquainted with important tips that will help you to spend your first two days in a virtual reality that is unusual for you.

Minecraft, unlike most, will not give hints - only you decide what and how to do. Such freedom, of course, inspires, but it can also cause a quick death of the character: after all, if he spends the start of the game on enthusiastic inspections of mountains, forests and other natural beauties, then at nightfall he will become a victim of zombies, skeletons, creepers and other evil spirits.

Which mode to choose?

When you start the game, you choose a mode - it can be "survival", "hardcore", "creativity" and "adventure".

Creative play does not put any time limits in front of you. Night does not fall here, monsters do not come, and therefore there is no need to monitor the rationality of your actions - do what you want and when you please.

The game of survival is a serious challenge to self-organization skills. The first two days here are extremely important and will determine the further progress in the gameplay.

"Hardcore" is very similar to "survival", but in it you are given only one life - after death you will not be able to be reborn.

"Adventure" is a special mode for creating your own cards. Also similar to "survival", but with some limitations.

This article will help those who start playing Minecraft to spend their starting days in "survival" or, for the daredevils, in "hardcore".

Day number 1 - preparation for the night.

Here, at last, the game is launched, the mode is selected, and your character finds himself in a freshly generated map. Look around! Perhaps there is a chest with a set of utilities nearby, or there is an interesting recess nearby where you can collect valuable resources.

Your main task at this stage is to prepare a shelter for the first night. Some minecrafters prefer to put up simple houses (for example, as in the picture below), others dig holes in the ground, making caves. These two methods provide the same safety, and both will require a supply of materials and tools.

It is worth considering that the game day flies by very quickly - you will only have 10 minutes before dark. It is because of this time limit that many recommend digging caves for an overnight stay - after all, you will definitely have time to cope with this.

Pay special attention to trees, as it is wood that gives rise to development. Go to the trunk and start hammering it with your hand until the wood block collapses. A piece of resource will fall out of it - pick it up. In the future, the same action must be carried out with several more blocks, but everything will turn out faster, since you are already hitting with a piece of wood. To extract resources more efficiently, it is worth making the first tool - a wooden pickaxe.

To do this, you need to turn the wood into boards in the inventory window, and then make a workbench (desktop) out of them.

Set up a workbench near the campsite. It is advisable to choose it not far from your first appearance - after all, in case of death, you will again find yourself in the same place. In addition, it is worth making an additional mark - for example, to put a high pillar, so that in the process of exploring the world not to lose the location of the workbench and shelter.

Open the window of the workbench, and craft a stick and a pickaxe there.

With a pickaxe, you can effectively chisel the earth and stone. So you will get a cozy cave and accumulate new types of resources. Experiment with them in the crafting window to create new items! Try using stone instead of planks in your pickaxe recipe and you'll get a stone pickaxe. Use a different arrangement of boards (stone, iron) to get an ax or a shovel.

Over time, you will accumulate so many items and blocks that they will not fit in the bottom panel. Go to the inventory window to distribute them or do some simple crafting.

As night falls, the world of Minecraft will plunge into darkness. It is very important that your temporary dwelling be well lit with torches. This will scare away the monsters and allow you to go deeper into the bowels.

Torches are made from coal and a stick - exactly as in this recipe.

The sticks should already be available to you, but the coal is yet to be mined. Best of all, if he gets caught in a cave or gorge. Coal blocks differ from stone ones in dark veins. Punch them with a pickaxe and accumulate black pieces that drop out!

If there are no caves or other recesses nearby, you can create coal on your own. It is obtained after processing wood in a kiln. This object is crafted from cobblestone. According to ready-made recipes, you can make an oven and coal without any problems.

Torches should be placed at the entrance to the cave and around the perimeter of the room. The entrance must be closed - use the door or barricade yourself with dense blocks.

Game night also only lasts ten minutes. At this time, it is better not to appear on the street, otherwise the monsters will try their villainous abilities on your hero. Do excavations, extracting new resources.

Day 2 - concerns about food and comfort.

You have probably already paid attention to the indicators of health and hunger of your character - they are indicated by the scales of hearts and legs. If you are well prepared for the nightlife, then the health of the character is not affected. But his satiety is gradually decreasing. Starting the second game day, it is worthwhile to start accumulating food.

At first, the minecraft hero will have to eat the killed game. Take, for example, an ax and cut down the sheep, cows, pigs and chickens that you meet. These mobs will drop raw meat. To eat it, you should do cooking - cook meat in the oven.

Look around the nearest trees - perhaps there are delicious fruits there. Of course, they are also suitable as food. In the future, you will be able to grow your garden and breed animals on the farm.

In addition to meat, after the death of animals, skin remains. Armor is sewn from it. She, of course, will not save during a tough confrontation with aggressive mobs, but still protect from injury in random brawls.

Your character doesn't have to stay awake all night long. If you build a bed, he will sleep on it - you go to the bed, and after a moment, morning comes. The bed will also be the place to return to the game after dying in the "survival" mode.

To create this object, you will need planks and wool.

You already know how to craft boards, and wool is taken from sheep. After killing an animal, you will receive only one block of such material. In the future, it is worth acquiring scissors that will give 2-3 particles of wool and leave the sheep alive for the further accumulation of this resource.

It is inconvenient to carry objects acquired in the game with you all the time - it is better to make a chest and keep there what you do not need very often. Here is the prescription:

In the event of the death of the hero, all the resources and tools that he carried with him, and did not store in the chest, will simply be lost.

Well, if you successfully completed the described steps, you can send the minecraft character to rest in the second overnight stay. He has many other days of gaming life ahead of him, countless exciting activities and, of course, meetings with different mobs!

Everyone in the game is divided into benevolent, neutral and aggressive. In the following article, we have compiled an overview of the benevolent creatures of Minecraft.

Hello new Utopia server player.

Perhaps this is your first time in the Minecraft game and you don’t know where to start, then this guide will help you.

Stage One - Learning the Basics

So, you materialized in the spawn zone, buildings, shops, houses, trees rise around you. The world is striking in its diversity. Somewhere other players are running around, the chat gives out a lot of messages, your inventory is still empty. Register and log in, quickly - otherwise the server will kick you out and you will have to log in again.

Doing this is easy. You can open the input line by pressing the "T" key (Russian "E"). Write "/register Password".

The next time you enter the game, write - "/login password" and you will enter your account. Registration and password system created for your own safety!

Be sure to read the rules that are located on the signs around the place where you appeared (or go to the site).

After getting used to it a little, you can finally start the game.

Stage Two - Basic Actions

First of all, write a command in the chat to get basic items. Type the following: "/kitstarter".

After entering this command, food and some tools will appear in your inventory. You can check it by pressing the "E" key (Russian "U").

Keep in mind - you can receive this set once, at a certain amount of time. So - take care of food and use the tools correctly.

It is not difficult to intuitively understand exactly how to use the received things. You can use food by holding down the right key with the selected food (potions are also used).

By the way, food should be used - when my health is lowered or hunger has fallen to the minimum mark. Full satiety restores your HP and you can continue the fight!

It's time to start exploring the world of Minecraft and build your home. You can run in any direction and start mining blocks, ores, materials for construction and sale. Or - you can look into the store located on the spawn. Can't find? Prescribe "/warp shop" and you will find yourself in it.

Shop products

Purchasing an item is pretty easy. From the very beginning, you are given 1000 MineRubles. Prices for goods are indicated above each of them. They are written on the plate, along with the name of the item and the amount that is given to you once, for a given amount. Choose what you need and click on the sign. Right - sell, left - buy.

Tablets

After replenishing supplies, or maybe you did without them, it's time to start real SURVIVAL.
On the map located on the site, you can look and choose a place suitable for housing, and run there. Or maybe you want to rely on fate?

Stage 3 - Survival

Having found the place you need, after a long search and running through the thickets, with evil mobs teeming in them, you can finally relax and start building your temporary shelter. Keep in mind that it may not be a terrible box of dirt on the surface, but a cozy cave that will be hidden from the eyes of curious players and mobs scurrying around. It is enough to dig it out, spending a little time and effort, jump in, and close all the exits with the blocks that you have dug up, clearing the territory.

And always use the right tools!

Pickaxe - for solid blocks (starting with stone and cobblestone)
Shovel - for loose and soft (sand, earth, gravel, etc.)
Ax - for wood
Scissors - for foliage and shearing sheep
Hoe - for plowing the land

Every hit on the wrong block reduces the life of your tool!

For now - lock up your little house , using the command for private, which you will find at this link.

Private allotment

Private(command)

Griefers and other players will not be able to get to you now! Set your home point by typing "/set home". Now, you can get there at any time by typing the "/home" command in the chat.

The first necessary items for you are an oven and a workbench. It is with their help that you can make yourself more reliable tools or cook food.

Workbench and oven

Recipes for crafting these items - you can find the link

For the workbench, you will need wood that you can chop with an ax (if it breaks prematurely, use your hands). From the tree you will make boards by going to your inventory. Near the image of your character, you will see a window for mini-craft. This is where you can insert the tree, and pull out the boards. And already from the boards - create a workbench, all in the same window.

For the furnace, you will need a stone that you can find underground, and in some places on the surface. Get it with a pickaxe (or hands, as mentioned above), make an oven according to the recipe that you could find by following the link.

You already have wood and stone, which means you can make stone tools! And now, with them in your inventory, you can go to the mines, deep underground. To get everything you need.

Stage 4: Further development

So - step by step, creating better and better things, getting more and more rare blocks - you develop. Soon, you will be able to build yourself a solid wooden house (and if you want, then from any other block), furnish it to your liking, get diamond tools, make a farm, join a clan, destroy the dragon... Still ahead!

After basic actions, minimal set-up, getting used to - you can get a job (You can find jobs and ways to earn money, as well as commands for the device on them at the link -), find friends (write in a chat or forum and someone will respond), to join a clan, and maybe even into the ranks of the administration, to help create your own Utopia?

And remember - the world of Minecraft'a is beautiful, let's respect this beauty?

Good luck, enjoy the game!

Sincerely, Utopia Team.

Newbie guide

This guide dedicated to those who have never played minecraft but I have heard about it and would like to try it. In most computer games, when we start, we immediately understand what is required of us and where to go. In minecraft, everything is different, namely, they don’t give us any hints and leave us to ourselves.

How to start playing minecraft? Everything is very simple: first we need to decide whether we want to play alone or with friends (for more details, see you about creating your own server). This guide will cover the game by oneself.
By selecting “Single Player” from the menu, we are offered to create a world in which we will play. There are also three game modes: survival, hardcore and creative.

Survival- a mode in which you need to monitor health, hunger, look for ore and build houses.
hardcore- also survival, only if we die, then we can no longer be reborn - the world will have to be deleted.
Creative- a mode in which we do not need to take care of hunger and health - we simply do not have them. We also have access to flight (double-clicking the spacebar) and an unlimited amount of resources.

First day

So, you have created a world in survival mode - what do you do? The first tip - do not run far from the place where you appeared - this is a spawn. And it is even better to mark it, say, with a column. If you die, you will be respawned in the same place. In the future, it will be possible to create a bed that will transfer the place of your respawn. It does not matter in what area you appeared - whether it be mountains, swamps, deserts or forests. The first step is to build a temporary dwelling, like the one in the picture. To do this, we need various blocks and tools.

We need to act quickly, because we only have 10 minutes until the day goes on, then the night comes and the monsters come out. Let's collect some wood - for this we will go to the nearest one and we will hit (by pointing the sight at it and holding the left mouse button) on the desired block, cracks will appear and as a result it will fall out in the form of a small cube. The block can be assembled by being at a fairly close distance from it - it falls into inventory (you can open it with the E button).

In the same inventory, there are 4 crafting slots on top. They need to craft a desktop. And on the desktop (3x3 cells) we craft an ax, a shovel and a pickaxe. They are needed to quickly collect wood, earth, stone, etc. blocks.

pickaxe crafting example

Suppose we managed to build a more or less usable box before sunset. Now we need to light it up with torches. Torches are made from coal and sticks. How to make sticks, you already know, now about the angle. The first way is to go to the cave. On the surface, we can meet caves leading down, in which you can find coal, iron and other ore. Remember: for the extraction of coal and iron, we need a stone pickaxe, it is made like a wooden one, but we replace the boards with stone. The second way is to fry the tree. To do this, we need to assemble the oven. Having placed the material for kindling in the lower cell and in the upper tree, we wait until coal is formed. Now you can start creating torches. To do this, place the ember over the stick and get 4 torches. They, like other blocks, must be placed with the right mouse button.

By this time, most likely, the night has already fallen and it is best to wait it out in our temporary shelter. Why be afraid at night? Monsters! With the onset of darkness, spiders, skeletons, zombies and creepers begin to spawn around.
The night also lasts 10 minutes, but why don't we just sit at home and get bored?! Let's go mine! Here our task is simply to dig down (preferably with a ladder or, if there is enough wood, you can make a ladder yourself and dig down). Do not dig deep, otherwise you can inadvertently fall into the lava and burn out. It is best to dig to the cave or just start digging the earth and stone in search of ore. But be careful, there are monsters in the caves! So, the first day of our Minecraft game is over.

Second day

In addition to lives (10 hearts on the left above the quick access panel) there are 10 “chicken legs” - this is hunger. Over time, our character loses these “legs”, they must be restored by eating something, for example, beef or pork, preferably fried. How to get food?
Surely on the way to the house you met pigs, cows and chickens - killing them can drop raw food from them. Food is roasted in the oven. In addition to meat, there are other foods in the game, but you can read more about farming later.
You will also meet sheep with the help of scissors, you can cut wool from them (2-4 blocks of wool in the color of a sheep) or you can kill a sheep, but in this case you can not wait for more than 1 block of wool. Wool serves as a material for decoration, and you can also make a bed out of it to change the place of our spawn. But you can sleep on it only at night, and the night is skipped and dawn comes.

On the second day there are no special tasks. If you continue To play Minecraft, then it is best to prepare for the next night or look for material to expand and decorate your home.

Oh yes! I almost forgot about the chest - a place where you can store things. If there are ores, and even just blocks, you can drag them to the chest, where they will remain safe, because in the event of your death, all things fall out of you.

Good luck!

Well, as promised in the title of the article - video about the beginning of the game in Minecraft!

Greetings, dear players!

In this article I will describe how to properly start playing Minecraft in survival mode. The instruction is intended for beginners who have just decided to download Minecraft on a PC.

Survival is the most popular mode, where the whole gameplay is based on the daily survival of the character in a harsh world, where zombies, keepers (creepy creatures resembling armless mutants), skeletons, witches and other dangerous creatures appear at night.

It is almost impossible for a beginner to survive at night, when hostile mobs are spawned (generated, appear) at almost every step, without weapons and tools. Therefore, the first day in Minecraft should be devoted to the construction of at least some kind of shelter.

Minecraft can generate a new world so that you find yourself on any of the existing biomes - in the desert, in the jungle, in the taiga, in the savannah, mountains, etc. However, no matter what the biome will be, you will find yourself in the game without any weapons and tools, only trousers and a shirt that can not protect against zombies.

At the bottom of the screen are the health bars (hearts) and hunger (chicken legs), as well as the amount of experience gained (green bar). Your task is to prevent health and hunger levels from dropping to zero.
First of all, you need to collect as much wood as possible to build a small shelter. If you happen to spawn in a biome where there are almost no trees nearby, start by creating a shelter out of earth (dirt): just build a 2x2 or 3x3 square where you can hide for the night.

However, if you see trees nearby, it's best to start by running to them and getting some wood. A day in Minecraft lasts 10 minutes, during which time you will have enough time to collect the required amount of wood.

How to assemble a tree without tools?

Just go to the trunk, point your hand at it and hold down the left mouse button (LMB) (no need to constantly click on the mouse - this will only slow down the work), and then collect the cubes that appear after the block disappears.

Process all the collected wood into boards. At the beginning of the game, a 2×2 crafting block is available to you. Put the wood on the left side and take it from the right board. By placing the boards in a 4x4 square, you will get a workbench - a tool that allows you to craft in a 3x3 grid.

Place the workbench on the ground. Now you need to craft a wooden pickaxe and a door for your house so you don't have to remove blocks to get out every time. To create a door, simply place the boards as shown in the picture.

To create a wooden pickaxe, you will need sticks. Making them is very easy. Place two planks on top of each other in the crafting grid.

Create a pick should be as follows: place three boards in the top row, and below, in the cells in the middle, place 2 sticks.

The wooden tool is very fragile. Therefore, it breaks down very quickly. However, it is necessary to collect the minimum amount of cobblestone to create better tools, furnaces and other materials. Without a tool, you can only collect earth, sand, gravel, wood, and some other materials.

Once you have the required amount of stone, craft a stone pickaxe. Crafting is similar to wood, but instead of planks, place cobblestone in the crafting grid.

Create an oven to bake meat and improve its properties.

It is most advantageous to put coal in the lower cell of the furnace (used for fuel), which can be found in abundance even on the surface of the earth (looks like an ordinary cobblestone with black patches). However, if you don't find coal, place wood on the bottom of the furnace. Place the meat in the top slot.

You can get meat by killing animals, for which a stone pickaxe is quite suitable. Do not kill all the animals at once, otherwise you will have to make your way further and further to find new ones. It is better to grow wheat, using which you can "propagate" them.

So, the first day in Minecraft has passed. I hope this article helped you figure out how to start playing Minecraft (survival), and also allowed you to get the initial skills necessary for a further interesting game.
