What to do with wasp stings

• Take an antihistamine (Zodak, Suprastin, Claritin, etc.)
• To relieve symptoms, use ointments and gels with antiallergic and antipruritic effects (Fenistil gel, Psilo-balm, Moskitol gel, etc.)

Usually within 2-3 days the symptoms disappear and the help of a doctor is not required.

• If the wasp stung in the face, neck, lip, tongue.
• With multiple bites of one or more insects.

• "Executioner" is a broad-spectrum insecticide that can help in the destruction of wasps. To prepare the poison, you will need no more than three vials, and this is quite enough to completely eliminate the problem.
• "Tetrix" is a Dutch development, which is recommended for use exclusively by employees of pest control services. It is highly toxic, has a pungent odor, but it works very quickly and efficiently.

Folk remedies

You can cook any of the remedies for wasps offered below in the country with your own hands. At the same time, there are quite a few such recipes, but it is worth noting that such solutions show much less effectiveness than chemical preparations.

1. Fly agaric - poisonous mushroom, which can be found in the nearby forest, is quite often used in the fight against wasps. However, to begin with, it must be properly prepared. Take three mushroom caps and cut them into small pieces. Mix the resulting mass with 100 ml of liquid honey and dilute everything in a glass of water. We put on fire and cook for no more than five minutes. We remove the product from the stove, let it cool, pour it into cans and place it in places where there is an accumulation of insects.
2. Hot pepper - this product is more affordable than the previous one, as you can buy it at any supermarket. It is also easier to use. We tie the pepper pods into bundles and hang them near the nest of insects. The smell of chili will scare away the wasps, and soon they will leave their homes. However, it should be borne in mind that you should not expect a quick result in this option. It will take more than one week to completely get rid of wasps.
3. A bucket of water is one of the simplest and at the same time the best means from wasps. Pour into a bucket of regular tap water- it should be enough to completely cover the nest. We carefully approach the dwelling of insects, raise the bucket, plunging the entire wasp house into the water. We support the bucket from below with a stepladder or wooden beam and leave for a few hours.
   

   Important! It is necessary to think over a way that will allow you to fix a bucket of water at the required height in advance so as not to spoil the course of the entire procedure at the most crucial moment!

4. Kerosene or gasoline - the selected substance should be carefully poured over the hornet's nest, and then set on fire. And since the house of insects is built from wood material, processed by them into the thinnest paper it will burn out very quickly. But it is obvious that to apply this method possible only in situations where the nest is located outdoors. Gels

As for insecticidal gels, with their help it is quite possible to get rid of wasps both in the conditions of the apartment and outside it. These funds are good because they do not require dilution and other additional preparations. This is a completely ready-to-use preparation that will contain in its composition both an attractive bait for insects and poisonous substances. Plus, the gel will adhere to any surface and, thanks to its thick consistency, will retain its activity for a long time.

When using gel preparations from wasps, they are applied near the nest - around the entire perimeter on a tree trunk, wall, ceiling, or on sheets of paper, which are then attached in close proximity to the house of insects. This treatment can significantly increase the likelihood that the wasps will find the bait and begin to feed on it. In this case, you can use any insecticidal gels: "Fas", "Absolute", "Global", etc.

Here it is allowed to use ready-made sticky traps, such as "Kapkan", "Alt" or "Apcoll". Glue is applied to pieces of cardboard and a sweet bait is placed in the center, for example, a piece of melon, watermelon, banana, etc. The wasps will flock to the sweet aroma and stick.

This tool works well for wasps in nature, but it is not suitable for destroying a nest. The fact is that it will take quite a lot of time to do this, and only working individuals will be able to be destroyed, while the uterus and larvae will remain in the nest.

Things to remember

Whatever remedy you choose, you must use it with extreme care, since insects can quite actively defend their nest, attacking the offender with the whole swarm.

When a nest is found, do not immediately try to get rid of it. It is better to wait for the night and only with its arrival to take measures to destroy it. Wasps never sleep, but at night their activity is significantly reduced. At the same time, you should come to the house of insects with an already diluted preparation, an aerosol selected and absolutely ready for use, and a large plastic bag in which the nest can fit completely.
