Book a queue at the border with Poland. Belarusian-Polish border: online booking of an electronic queue

24 hour point customs control"Warsaw Bridge" is located in Brest, has an international status and is considered the largest crossing connecting the Republic of Belarus and Poland. His specialization is various customs operations for the import into the territory Customs Union and further export of vehicles and goods from it by individuals.

This contributes to the periodic formation of long queues on some days, sometimes up to 3 km, the standing time in which can be up to 12 hours or more. Average crossing time border crossing equal to 1.5–2 hours, however, with maximum loads rises to 14 hours, which is due both to the day of the week, time of day, and seasonal nature, holidays.

Electronic transport queuing system

On September 1, 2016, the electronic transport queue system was launched, which allows you to reserve the time for passing one or another type of transport control. This was done to unload the point and reduce travel time, because everyone could book for themselves exact time and cross the border in a separate lane. Thus, the user becomes the owner of a time corridor lasting 1 hour, and loses it if for some reason he is late.

Features of making a booking

To book the electronic queue "Warsaw Bridge" you need to enter the site belarusborder.by and get registered. At the same time, everyone should pay attention to some mandatory conditions for the service:

  • booking an electronic queue is possible from 3 hours to 90 days before the expected time of crossing the border;
  • the time interval provided is 1 hour;
  • booking is made within 30 minutes;
  • payment for the service does not depend on the category of the vehicle, the desired date of booking and is equal to 1 base unit (24.5 BYN). Payment must be made no later than 60 minutes after booking;
  • the vehicle should be placed at the entrance in front of the special waiting area before the provided time interval.

In case of booking a queue at Varshavsky Most, you should register and take a certain parking space located in the waiting area. After that, you must wait for the registration number to appear on the electronic scoreboard, and then leave the service waiting area and go directly to the checkpoint.

Free registration in the electronic queue

To do this, you should take a place among the traffic flow located at the mobile insurance pavilions located near the Belorusneft gas station. To receive an electronic queue coupon, it is necessary to transfer the vehicle registration certificate to the insurer, after which he will register in the Warsaw Bridge electronic queue, and then return the document along with the coupon. Next, you should take a place in the queue and wait until the number indicated in the ticket is displayed on the electronic scoreboard. This option will also allow you to freely cross the point customs clearance, but unlike pre-registration, when a certain time interval is known, in this case you will have to wait in a general queue. If it is long or scheduled for several hours in advance, then, accordingly, the wait can be significantly delayed.

As practice shows, the introduction of the electronic registration service made it possible to systematize the passage of customs, reduce the waiting time, because people cross the border according to the queue. Along with this, "hangs" were repeatedly noticed new system, which increased the number of people waiting, forced to stand longer due to its incorrect operation.

ATTENTION! On September 1, 2016, an electronic queue system began to operate at the Varshavsky Most checkpoint (Brest). This means that all citizens crossing the state border at this checkpoint undergo all types of control in the prescribed manner.

The checkpoint Brest (Varshavsky bridge) is located in the city of Brest, Warsaw highway-1. The checkpoint on the Polish side is called Terespol.

Warsaw Bridge accepts only passenger transport around the clock without days off and lunch breaks. Crossing the state border at this checkpoint on a bicycle is not possible.

The throughput capacity of the checkpoint Varshavsky bridge allows you to receive 2350 cars, 350 passenger buses per day in both directions. Please note that freight transport is not serviced at this checkpoint!

How to get to Warsaw bridge

Getting to the Brest checkpoint (Varshavsky bridge) from Minsk by car is quite simple: from the Belarusian capital, go to the P1 highway and drive to Dzerzhinsk. From Dzerzhinsk along the M1 highway to Brest, and from Brest along the Warsaw highway to the checkpoint "Brest, avtodorozhny".

Electronic queue at the border with Poland

On September 1, 2016, an electronic queue system began to operate at the Brest checkpoint (Varshavsky Most). The electronic queue is not at all an innovation of the Belarusian authorities, this system already practicing whole line countries. In fact, this is very convenient, because. you no longer have to stand in queues for hours, worrying that at the border with Poland, instead of the scheduled hour, you will stand for two or more. Now you can book the border crossing time in advance, which means you can safely make plans.

At the moment, there are two options for an electronic queue at the Brest checkpoint: with and without reservation.

Electronic queue at the border with Poland with booking

First option - electronic queue at the border with Poland with reservation. This option is the most convenient, but requires a few simple steps:

Go to the site belarusborder.by and register in the system.
Book the border crossing time and pay for the reservation. Booking takes 30 minutes, payment - 1 hour. Payment is made online using a credit card.

Booking cost for passenger cars is:

Weekdays - 0.8 base unit (18.4BYN)
Holidays, pre-holidays, weekends and days off - 1 base unit (23BYN).

Booking an electronic queue guarantees you crossing the state border within 1 hour that you have booked. Next, you need to arrive at the Brest checkpoint before the time of booking, go to the waiting area through a separate channel, in the waiting area get registration number and wait for it to appear on a special scoreboard.

Once again, we draw your attention to the fact that you will stay in the waiting area for no more than an hour!

In the waiting area at your service there are: a shop, a cafe, Insurance Company, bank, tire service and toilet.

When your registration number appears on the board, you must arrive at the checkpoint without stopping, and then the standard procedure.

You can book an electronic queue no earlier than 90 days, but no later than 3 hours before the desired border crossing! Consider this!

Electronic queue at the border with Poland without booking

The second option is electronic queue at the border with Poland without booking. This option is less convenient, because does not give you any guarantee of crossing the border at a certain time. In fact, this is the same live queue as before, only you need to wait not on the road, but in the service waiting area, where a toilet, a store, a cafe, an insurance company, a bank and a tire service work for you.

What should be done: arrive at the service waiting area, get a registration number, wait for your number to appear on a special board. After the number appears on the board, proceed to the checkpoint without additional stops and go through the standard border crossing procedure.

On September 1, at the same time, the restriction on crossing the border once every 8 days was canceled and a new pass system was launched - electronic booking. The border reacted with a long queue, which the traffic police turns towards the fortress.

Electronic queue

According to the PUE “Prigranichny Servis”, about 500 people used the services of electronic queue booking in the first days. Nobody hides that the first "pancake" was a little crumpled. The system was malfunctioning, service employees were worried, and those who stood in line to cross the border were also nervous. However, the roughness during the launch of a fundamentally new pass system was corrected as quickly as possible and in working mode.

The mechanism for passing cars through the armor is simple. Upon entering the waiting area, each car is registered in one of the Border Service (PS) pavilions. At the same time, the system takes into account what kind of car it is, whether it follows a live queue or armor. For armored - its own separate channel.

There is not a single car on it ... There are no people who want to? - we asked Sergey Kozlovsky, the senior shift of the PS.

And there should be no cars on this channel. There is a special area for those waiting for their electronic queue. Information will appear on the electronic scoreboard that the turn has come, then they go to the channel ...

Border business

Recall that another important fact is connected with the first September day at the Belarusian border - the abolition of restrictions on the number of border crossings. True, they say, the Poles have not favored our gasoline and diesel fuel for a long time. Yes, and our "solar carriers" such trade is no longer a profit, except perhaps stolen fuel ...

Knowledgeable people argue that the Belarusian lifting of restrictions has pleased enterprising citizens from the so-called tobacco business. That's who will try to make full use of the new border conditions... v>

Bring on the cameras!

The main claim of motorists is misinformation. This is how many assess the situation with the online broadcast of the queue at this checkpoint.

If earlier it was possible to get a really real picture of what is happening, then with the turn of the car row to Brest Fortress it remains only to guess about the size of the queue. The camera does not capture the "tail". A person thinks that there are no cars, he goes to Varshavka, and here it is ... - says Vladimir from Brest.

Need more cameras! - demand deceived travelers.

Deputy Head of Customs Sergei Selivonets explained: the video camera is set to a straight segment leading to the entrance to the checkpoint, and, indeed, now it does not fall into its review most of queues. But neither border guards nor customs officers are responsible for what happens outside the territory of the checkpoint.

We redirect the question to the organization providing border services. According to Viktor Ryasny, director of the Prigranichny Servis PMC, he is aware of this problem. A joint meeting with the employees of RUE "Beltamozhservice" is scheduled for Thursday, September 8, in Brest, and the issue of additional cameras is on the agenda.

“We must do everything to make people crossing the border as comfortable as possible. This requires real information about the situation in the queue. On the website of the republican enterprise, which, by presidential decree, is the operator of the electronic queue in Belarus, there is a paid queue reservation. There is a reason to be able to find out the situation online at the checkpoint. This problem can be solved,” Viktor Vladimirovich said.

180 turn

In order to avoid accidents, the traffic police turn the queue 180 degrees. As you know, the "Warsaw" ring and the road from it to the checkpoint during the accumulation of vehicles in line to cross the border pose a threat to people's health. Not only because cars often stopped where parking is prohibited.

The queue had to be deployed solely because of the threat to traffic safety. After all, it turned out that the "tail" of the queue went to the front page. And people getting out of their cars created an emergency. Pedestrians have no place there, - comments the head of the department for agitation and propaganda of the traffic police of the Brest Regional Executive Committee Natalia Sakharchuk.

The fact that the line at the border now turns into thickets is fraught with various troubles. Experienced driver Andrey is sure: it's time to take control of the long transport "tail".

Otherwise, as they once did, they will start selling places in the queue, those who have been “borrowed” will be attached to one car, and it will not do without a showdown. In the early 2000s, when there were long queues at the border on the Polish side, the local border guard drove around the entire queue by car, rewriting license plates. The list was handed over to the customs officers, and when they saw that the numbers did not match, they understood: someone got in. And they sent the quick one to the very end. Question: who will take on this headache?

It has become problematic, according to travelers, to resolve a delicate issue. From the middle of today's queue to the nearest toilet, at least 350 meters. While you turn back and forth, you can skip your seat. Those in the "tail" prefer to use nearby bushes.

Case for nuns

To regulate traffic along the new vector, traffic police officers placed special chips. It turned out two lanes for transport - inland from the checkpoint and back. But, according to Natalia Sakharchuk, enterprising citizens now and then move these landmarks as they please. Although at the entrance to the waiting area there is always a traffic police squad.

Among other things, for the second day in a row, the traffic police are asking for help from the Holy Nativity of the Mother of God convent. It turns out that because of the huge line at the border (it goes from the checkpoint to the Brest Fortress and back to Varshavka), the nuns cannot leave the monastery... The border has probably never known such incidents.

International road checkpoints are designed to control the flow of foreign citizens entering the country. Often the influx of people becomes so significant that the border services can no longer cope with the verification of those who enter the country. To bandwidth border checkpoints have not decreased, many of them have electronic queuing systems installed. This article will discuss the features of entering Poland through road points and booking a queue at the border with Poland - its cost and execution procedure.

Entry to Poland by private car

First of all, border guards pay attention to the technical serviceability of the car. Particular attention is paid to rims, headlights, windshields, studded tires are prohibited.

A driver who enters the country by car is required to have a full set of essentials, consisting of a first aid kit, a fire extinguisher, reflective vests, an emergency sign and a spare wheel.

It is mandatory to check the presence of registration documents for the car, insurance, visas and the driver's foreign passport.

The number of road border points consists of six Ukrainian, six Belarusian and four Russian points (Kaliningrad region). Entry into the EU through the border of Poland is carried out on the basis of a control ticket, which is issued on initial stage verification and completed as it passes. Checking baggage at the border is carried out in accordance with the standards established by Poland.

How much does the booking cost and how long is it valid

Booking a place in the electronic queue can be made 90 days before the trip, but no later than three hours before arrival at the checkpoint. It is necessary to complete the registration procedure on the site and receive an individual booking number.

The interval for entering the queue at the border checkpoint is one hour.

Be sure to print e-ticket before entering the checkpoint.

"Warsaw Bridge" allows drivers to pass for about forty minutes, Berestovitsa - for half an hour, Terespol is located on the Polish side of the border.

For 2019, the cost of booking a waiting place in the queue is 18.4 Belarusian rubles (about 560 Russian rubles) on weekdays for cars and motorcycles.

Booking cost in holidays rises to 23 Belarusian rubles (about 710 Russian). The same price applies to trucks and buses on weekdays.

The electronic ticket becomes a pass to the waiting area, where the drivers who paid for their place in the queue are located. On a special board, the order numbers of the reservation are alternately displayed, and the drivers drive up to the inspection point.

On the other hand, the registration of drivers in the electronic queue is carried out automatically, so there may be system failures and problems with paying for the reservation. Carefully check the data entered into the booking system and arrive at the checkpoint on time so that your trip goes as planned.

TO RUSSIA - FASTER AND MORE CONVENIENT

Starting from May 15, an automated border crossing is being tested at the Luhamaa border crossing point, which will help to cross the border in the direction from Estonia to the Russian Federation faster and more conveniently.
The automated border crossing system is intended for frequent Estonian citizens and Estonian residents of no specific citizenship who are over 12 years old, who cross the border in a vehicle registered in Estonia and who have not previously had violations when crossing the border.
For automated control, a registration kiosk with an automatic face recognition system has been installed in the waiting area of the Luhamaa border crossing point, which helps to quickly check people crossing the border.
If, when crossing the border in normal mode, it takes an average of ten minutes to check the vehicle and passengers, when crossing the border with automated control waiting time in line will be about a couple of minutes.
"When crossing the border automatically, a person needs to scan his passport data at a kiosk, after which his identity will be confirmed by the face recognition system. Then the car on which the border is crossed is directed to a dedicated lane, which is allowed to cross the border faster," said the head of the border checkpoint . To minimize risks, border guards will from time to time carry out selective controls on those passengers who use automatic system crossing the border.
The automated border crossing system was developed by GoSwift, a company that handles queues at the borders of Estonia, Finland and Lithuania. According to the head of the company Hannes Plinte, this project is good example collaboration between the private and public sectors. "The created system will strengthen the image of our company, as well as the Estonian IT sector, and we hope that this system will be exported soon," Plinte said.
How the automated border crossing system works:

  • There is a kiosk for automatic border crossing in the waiting area of the Luhamaa border crossing point. Scan the passport details in the reader so that the system can check the travel document details. The driver must also enter the registration number of the vehicle.
  • Follow the instructions on the screen: your photo will be taken and the photo will be compared with the photo in your passport.
  • After that, the system will direct you to a dedicated lane, along which the border can be crossed faster than in the usual way.
