Vietnam invited Russia to return to the camran. Cam Ranh airport Vietnam: flight schedule, photos, location Cam Ranh which sea

The city of Cam Ranh itself is not particularly remarkable in any way. Cam Ranh was once a major US naval base in Asia, passed into the hands of the Vietnamese navy. The modern military base in Kamran is strategically important and absolutely classified. And although more fishing vessels are moored in the city port than warships, the military presence here is still felt and affects, first of all, the infrastructure of the region's underdevelopment.

BUT, the inhabitants of the city are very friendly and benevolent, the town is quiet and calm, and the surroundings of Cam Ranh are simply magical - large and small unspoiled beaches and bays, charming islands and a large national park along which an endless and beautiful road stretches along the coast.

why go

Don't miss out on Cam Ranh Bay

  • Explore the coastline in search of beautiful beaches and bays as you bike along one of Vietnam's most scenic roads.
  • Admire the beautiful beaches of Binh Hung Island, swim in the crystal clear waters and sample some of the best lobsters on the coast.
  • Shop for seafood at your local market and have a beach barbecue.
  • Spend a couple of days doing nothing, just enjoying the beautiful deserted beach and crystal clear sea.

On a motorbike along the coast

This, in fact, is why it is worth going to Cam Ranh. You can try to rent a bike in the city or come with your own from. Beauty begins just outside the city on both sides - the magnificent Bai Dai beach stretches to the north of the city, and the beaches of the Binh Lap peninsula to the south.

About 25 km south of the city center is the large, idyllic, almost always deserted Binh Tien Beach. A very scenic road leads from the beach along the coast to the small fishing village of Vinh Hy, with the coast on one side and the national park on the other. On the way, you can drive down to small beaches / bays and stop at viewpoints.

The total length of the Binh Tien - Vinh Hy road is about 17 km. Fill up the tank full before traveling as there are no gas stations on the highway. If your starting point was the northern beach of Bai Dai (see below), then it makes sense to stay overnight at the pretty and very inexpensive Vinh Hy Resort. If you have the desire and enthusiasm, the next day you can continue your journey through the national park further south to the town of Phan Rang – Tháp Chàm (about 30 km more), and return to Cam Rang or Nha Trang along a large highway.

Binh Hung and Binh Ba Islands

About 5 km from Binh Tien beach towards Vinh Hy village is the beach, which is the starting point to the small very picturesque island of Binh Hung (this place can be recognized by restaurants and signs). Here you can rent a pleasure boat and walk around the island with stops on the island and in the sea at the coral reefs. Such a boat trip will take at least 2-3 hours, plan accordingly. You can also come to the island for the whole day, walk, swim, sunbathe, eat lobsters and enjoy life.

Binh Ba Island is the main attraction of Cam Ranh Bay. Situated a short speed boat ride from the city's Ba Ngoi pier, this island is a paradise for those who love the unusual and authentic experience. The island is famous for its beautiful beaches and delicious lobsters. But, unfortunately, at the moment, the independent entry of foreigners is prohibited on the island, since the island is under the jurisdiction of the Cam Ranh naval base. In any case, check on the spot for the current permitting situation. The island can be visited with an organized tour from.

In terms of tourism, it is developing at an accelerated pace. In recent years, Russians have made a choice in favor of this Asian country instead of traveling to Turkey and Egypt. Many of our compatriots have also visited the city of Cam Ranh, which is a landmark for the inhabitants of Russia, because Russian pilots have served in these places for over 20 years.

Cam Ranh is located on the coast of Cam Ranh Bay, 50 km from the center of the famous resort. The town itself with a population of 126 thousand is not a resort town. It is better known for its 15 km airport and deep sea port, one of the best in the world. In the vicinity of Cam Ranh, there are beautiful landscapes, magnificent semi-wild beaches, but many tourists, having landed at the airport, go to rest in neighboring Nha Trang.

There is a logical explanation for this fact. In the city of Cam Ranh, the tourist infrastructure is still poorly developed, because recently there was a military base here. After the opening of the International Airport, neighboring Nha Trang turned into a popular resort, and Cam Ranh remained a cozy, quiet town. Those who want to see an ordinary non-tourist city of Vietnam come here. There are no attractions here, there are no five-star hotels. There is wonderful nature, green mountains, a long white sand beach, where tourists from neighboring Nha Trang come to rest.

Cam Ranh history

The convenient deep-water bay has predetermined the role of an important seaport for this town. Back in 1905, when Russia was at war with Japan, the Russian squadron entered the port of Cam Ranh. During the Second World War, the base of the Japanese naval forces was located here. During the Vietnam War, a port and an airfield were erected by the US military in Cam Ranh, territorially belonging to South Vietnam. In 1972, the United States transferred these facilities to the South Vietnamese army, and three years later, the city was captured by the armed forces of North Vietnam.

In 1979, Vietnam and the USSR signed an agreement, according to which Cam Ranh became the largest foreign naval base of the Soviet Union for 25 years with the right of free lease. In 2002, the Russian military left the base for good. After its reconstruction, the civil airport Cam Ranh began operating in 2004.

Airport

In 2009, the airport was given international status. In Vietnam, it ranks fourth in terms of passenger traffic. The length of the runway of 3,048 m allows to receive airliners of any size. Cam Ranh Airport serves six airlines. It has two terminals, a weather station, comfortable waiting rooms, several restaurants and pharmacies, and exchange offices.

A visa for Russian citizens staying in Vietnam for a period of less than 15 days is not required. For those who plan to stay in this country for a longer period, it is necessary to issue an invitation letter through a travel agency in advance and, on the basis of it, obtain a visa at the airport.

Infrastructure

The city is located on the shores of the bay in a picturesque place. It stretches along the coast for 2–3 km. In the center there is a train station, shops, hospital, post office, Mobifon office, several Buddhist temples, a Catholic church, two restaurants. All active city life is concentrated on the main street. There are spacious sidewalks, traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, a small number of cars, which creates comfortable conditions for walking and cycling.

The city has a lot of gas stations and hairdressers, small grocery stores. There are two large shopping centers - Maximark and Coopmart. There are supermarkets on the first floors, inexpensive canteens on the upper floors.

Beach

One of the longest beaches in Vietnam - Bai Dai or Bai Dai, which translates from Vietnamese as "long", is located near the city of Cam Ranh and 20 km south of Nha Trang. According to various sources, its length is 14-18 km. When there was a military base in the city, only the military and local residents could get to the beach. Then few foreigners began to visit it. Now many tourists already know about this beautiful beach, and local Vietnamese come here for a weekend getaway, so the coastal strip is no longer in such a pristine state.

The sand on the beach is white, coral. The entrance to the water is shallow, near the shore it is shallow, the water is warm and clear. It is very comfortable for children, and parents do not need to worry that their babies will be washed away by a wave into the open sea. Conventionally Bai Dai can be divided into two parts - cultivated and wild. The service offered in the cultivated part: a cafe on the sand, lifeguards, small shops, sun loungers, umbrellas, scooter rental.

There are few foreigners and many locals on the beach. Vietnamese are sitting in a cafe, swimming in the sea. You will never see Vietnamese girls in swimsuits here. The Vietnamese enter the water in ordinary clothes - T-shirts, shorts, jeans. On weekdays, there are few people on the beach. On weekends, the beach is not cleaned and a lot of rubbish accumulates on it, especially near the cafe. In the tourist part, Bai Dai (Bai Dai) is much cleaner. If desired, on such a long beach, you can always find a clean area for a secluded holiday.

Pros of Bai Dai Beach:

  • large territory;
  • low population;
  • pure water;
  • white sand;
  • gentle entry into the water;
  • the presence of a cafe.
  • garbage in some parts of the beach area spoils the impression of the rest;
  • a common disadvantage for Vietnam is that the local staff do not know other languages \u200b\u200bthan their native one;
  • for lovers of comfortable rest, this semi-wild beach is absolutely not suitable.

Cam Ranh International Airport was recently opened to civil traffic. After reconstruction in 2004, it began to receive the first passengers. Since then, thanks to the development of tourism infrastructure, it has undergone a number of transformations. Today it corresponds to its status, as you can see by looking at the photo of the terminal.

Cam Ranh airport

Back in 1949, French specialists founded the Nha Trang air base on the territory of Cam Ranh. Vietnamese pilots were trained here. In the mid-60s of the last century, the Civil War broke out in Vietnam. At that time, one of the parties to the conflict was supported by the US military. The existing airbase acquired strategic importance for them. Convenient geographical location and proximity to the sea made Cam Ranh the main springboard for the US Air Force and Marine Corps.

In 1975, after the end of the war, the military airfield was used by the government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam as the country's main air force base. Already at that time it was used for civil communication. But the main purpose of the facility was still military. For a long time the airfield was operated by Soviet and later Russian pilots.

The decision to completely transfer the air harbor to a civilian channel was made by the Vietnamese government only in 2009. This was largely facilitated by the growing interest in the world in Vietnam as a tourist Mecca.

By 2010, the reconstruction of the main terminal was completed, and now it receives over 1.5 million passengers a year. Currently, the terminal is significantly overloaded and cannot withstand such a flow of travelers. Therefore, the government of the country decided to gradually introduce additional resources. By 2020, a second terminal will be built here, which is designed for 2.5 million passengers per year. Additional infrastructure will expand its capabilities. It is also planned that by 2025 Cam Ranh will be able to receive 4 million passengers, and after another five years - up to 8 million tourists a year.

Tasks and characteristics of Cam Ranh airport

The airport is located just 50 kilometers from the capital of Khanh Hoa province, the city of Nha Trang, well known to tourists all over the world. It can be easily found on the map. An extensive resort area on the shores of the South China Sea attracts tourists from all over the world. Every year the flow of travelers from Russia increases, who are in a hurry to get acquainted with the exoticism of the tropical coast.

Based on the above, the main task of the Cam Ranh air harbor is to serve tourists. Today, this destination is experiencing a real tourist boom, which affects the comfort of its customers.

The airfield is equipped with only one runway. Its length is 3048 meters and allows to receive 30-meter boards, such as:

  • ATR 42 and ATR 72;
  • Bombardier CRJ-100/200;
  • Airbus A319-A320 and A321;
  • Boeing 737, 757 and 777;
  • light aircraft and helicopters of all types.

In the spring of 2015, construction began on the second lane and auxiliary tracks. After the commissioning of this facility, by the end of 2018, it will be able to receive all types of modern airliners.

Several years ago, this southeastern outpost was assigned the IATA international airport codes - CXR and ICAO - VVCR. The official website of Cam Ranh airport is located on the general domain of the Vietnamese state airport network http://vietnamairport.vn.

The air terminal, as we said above, cannot yet provide tourists with all the necessary conditions for a comfortable stay. Based on the reviews of Russian tourists, one can add up the actual picture of the local service. There is a duty free shop (by the way, quite expensive). The terminal does not have a scoreboard on the second floor, there is no mother and child room, which is usual for Russian tourists.

Our compatriots mark long queues at the check-in counters, of which there is clearly an insufficient number. On all service plates, the inscriptions are duplicated in English and Russian, which simplifies navigation for our tourists. There are fast food establishments and several cafes with national cuisine at the station. Wireless Internet, which is represented by several operators, still has traffic restrictions.

Geography of air traffic

The terminal located on the peninsula is 10 hours from Moscow... It has communication not only with the capital of Russia, but also with a number of Russian megalopolises. Charters fly here regularly:

  • China Southern;
  • Korean Air;
  • Jeju Air;
  • Vietnam Airlines;
  • Nordwind Airlines;
  • Qatar Airways;
  • Sichuan Airlines.

Norwegian and Qatari airlines operate flights from Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo. During the season, you can fly to Kamran from Krasnoyarsk. Chinese and Vietnamese carriers provide their charters.

It should be noted that there is also a local air connection between this resort airfield and Vietnamese ports such as Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Hanoi. National low-cost airlines operate long-distance flights at fairly reasonable prices.

Aeroflot planes fly to the capital of this country on a regular basis. Charter flights are presented in large numbers during the high season, spring and November, and with transfers you can fly here at any time of the year.

Passenger service

The terminal is provided with the main objects of client service, such as:

  • online scoreboard of Cam Ranh airport indicating the time of arrival and departure of flights;
  • the luggage area where the luggage is packed;
  • the information desk, the main information desk for stays and flights;
  • aTMs and currency exchange offices;
  • trading network.

You can find your board by examining the flight schedule, which is located on the board in the main hall of the station. In case of difficulty, you should contact the information office. The managers speak Russian and you will not have any difficulties in communication. In Internet sources, you can also find your flight schedule by setting the required coordinates. In any case, the organization of your vacation should be taken seriously, explore the possibilities in advance or entrust these concerns to specialists of travel companies.

In the terminal before departure, you will go through the standard procedure. Check-in for the flight starts 2 hours before departure. It is still necessary to have time with baggage registration. Considering the queues, try to arrive early. Experienced tourists are advised to carry out procedures with luggage in the domestic terminal, since here the cost of the service is several times cheaper than in the international department.

Another rule applies to alcohol in glass bottles. Such baggage must be wrapped in a foam wrap. If you have not done this in advance, it will be done for you in the luggage compartment. True, you will have to pay extra for additional troubles.

Pay attention also to the fact that the main board in the terminal does not give out separate information about charters - it is located in the general list.

How to get from Nha Trang

Trucking from the coastal resort capital to the airport is very developed. There is a bus service here. You can also use taxi services.

Experienced tourists are advised to use official carriers that place their transport on special taxi sites located near the train stations. The cars have special colors and brand attributes.

Closer to the exit zones to the city, as a rule, private traders place transport, who inflate the fare and earn money from inexperienced tourists. Moving from Nha Trang to Kamran will cost 10-15 dollars, private traders will ask twice as much.

Suburban vehicles operate from 5 am to 8 pm. The ticket will cost $ 2. In addition, a shuttle bus runs between the center of the resort town and the terminal.

What to see and where to sleep

As befits a resort, Nha Trang has a rich selection of hotels, lodging and accommodation for travelers. They are presented here in all grades. Most of them, due to the beach orientation of the resort, are located on the coast. If you have a day left before departure, then settling in one of the cozy hotels overlooking the sea, you can afford a pleasant stay.

For curious tourists, even outside the sea holiday season, it will be possible to get acquainted with the main attractions of these places, visit an amusement park or landscape parks. From the city center, most of the sites can be reached with a rented scooter or bicycle. Let's talk about just a few of the most interesting places worth visiting.

The main attraction of this city is the Long Son Pagoda, the place where the Big Seated Buddha is located. The temple is located on a mountain and offers a wonderful view of the coast. This is a working sanctuary. You can get to it by walking along a long staircase.

Tourists are advised to go here in the early morning or late evening, before sunset. At this time, you can walk here without numerous groups of tourists and crowds of visitors. The entrance to the temple requires a certain dress code: your clothes should cover your knees and shoulders. This place is free to visit, but beware of "luck catchers" selling tickets here.

In the city itself there is the Cathedral of St. Mary. Its beautiful architecture makes it a charming Old World island in Asia. The complex of temples, Po Nagar Towers, dates back to the 7th century. There are active Hindu and Buddhist shrines here. Be aware of the dress code when visiting these Vietnamese holy places. You can get here by city bus number 6, the route of which, by the way, passes through most tourist sites.

In contact with

Vietnam is not against the return of Russia to the military base in Cam Ranh, but this cooperation should not be directed against third countries, Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Nguyen Thanh Son said on May 17.

Vietnam's policy is not to enter into military alliances or ally with one state against another. In this context, the implementation of Cam Ranh ports for multilateral international cooperation in order to provide maritime transport services, ship repair and development of military equipment to ensure peace and stability in the region is a suitable direction, the diplomat said.

Nguyen Thanh Son said that Hanoi intends to develop defense cooperation with Moscow. He also added that Vietnam has always considered Russia "its close, traditional partner" and that "trusting relations with Russia are a priority in Vietnam's foreign policy."

Recall that in 1979 the Socialist Republic of Vietnam gave Cam Ranh and its buildings to the Soviet Union for 25 years in a free lease. The Soviet military rebuilt and expanded the base: modestly called the PMTO of the Navy, it was a powerful naval base of the 17th operational squadron. There were eight to ten surface ships, from four to eight submarines and support vessels at the same time. The Cam Ranh base allowed the Pacific Fleet to control the southern Pacific and the entire Indian Ocean. In 2001, the Russian leadership decided not to renew the agreement with Vietnam and to evacuate the base ahead of schedule.

Bay of Cam Ranh with the Soviet military fleet. 1985 poster.

But what decision will Moscow take now? Is it ready to demonstrate geopolitical positions in the Asia-Pacific region along with the United States and China?

Judging by the agreements reached at the highest level, one might get the impression that it is ready. So, November 12, 2013 presidents of Russia and Vietnam an agreement was signed to establish a joint base for the maintenance and repair of submarines in Cam Ranh.

In February 2014 russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that Russia will expand its military presence in the world: negotiations are underway on the deployment of military facilities with Vietnam and Cuba, and "active work is underway in the Seychelles, Singapore, Algeria, Cyprus, Venezuela, Nicaragua and a number of other countries." ... Shoigu noted that at the equator and in other regions of the world it is necessary to provide refueling of long-range aviation aircraft of the Russian Federation. Since the spring of 2014, the Camrany airfield was first used for servicing the Il-78 aircraft, which provide strategic Tu-95MS missile carriers with air refueling.

And in November 2014, it became known that during the visit of the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam to the Russian Federation, an agreement was signed on a simplified procedure for the entry of Russian ships into the Vietnamese port of Cam Ranh. As the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation explained to TASS, Russian ships and vessels, after serving in the World Ocean, only need to notify the port authorities in order to make a call to Cam Ranh. This was an important event, if only because Vietnam became the second country - after Syria - with which Russia agreed on a "conciliatory" procedure for the entry of naval ships. Even then, some military experts suggested that not far off the signing with Vietnam and another agreement, which also operates with Syria - on the creation of a logistics center for the Russian Navy (PMTO) in Cam Ranh, or rather - its return.

Experts pointed out that this is facilitated by the fact that Vietnam is Russia's traditional partner in the military-technical sphere. In recent years, the parties have signed contracts worth more than $ 4.5 billion. To date, Russia has supplied Vietnam with 4 of 6 Project 06361 Varshavyanka diesel submarines with the Club-S missile system. The supplies of the mobile coastal missile system "Bastion", as well as the geoinformation system "Horizon" for the PBRK were carried out. In addition to submarines, the list of military equipment ordered by Vietnam includes Molniya-type missile boats, Project 11661 Gepard-3.9 patrol frigates, as well as Su-30MK2 fighters ...

Former head of the Main Directorate of International Military Cooperation of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, participant in the negotiations on Cam Ranh in 1998-2000, Colonel General Leonid Ivashov believes that the recent reports in the media about the return of the Russian Federation to Vietnam and Cuba are not just rhetoric that can last for years.

I believe that the Ambassador of Vietnam to Russia Nguyen Thanh Son expressed by no means his personal point of view. Apparently, before that there were already some contacts between our and their military on the issue of basing in Cam Ranh. That is, he announced the official position of his country and this can be regarded as an invitation, which, in my opinion, cannot be refused in any case.

You definitely need to return to Cam Ranh. Firstly, it is one of the most comfortable and deep-water bays not only on the shores of the South China Sea, but also in the entire Asia-Pacific region. Secondly, there are not only six berths for ships, but also an airfield that was once equipped by the Soviet Union and which was once actively used by Soviet strategic and anti-submarine aviation, reconnaissance aircraft, there were electronic tracking stations ...

Now we have begun to more actively enter the World Ocean, we have our own strategic interests, which we defend. In this regard, a military presence in the APR is simply necessary. But the question is the price.

Under the terms of the agreement, Russia, as the successor to the USSR, paid nothing for this base until 2000. When in the late 1990s the Vietnamese side raised the issue of signing a new agreement on the lease of the base, the Russian delegation, which I headed, and which then included the then russian Defense Minister Marshal Igor Sergeev, agreed on favorable conditions for our presence, which also suited the Vietnamese. For example, our side offered to provide the Vietnamese Navy with two of the six berthing walls, use the airfield for joint basing of aviation, plus - to supply several ships that were to be scrapped at that time. Now we also have something to offer the Vietnamese authorities - for example, we continue to supply there a fairly wide range of military equipment.

In general, we must say "thank you" to the Vietnamese for Cam Ranh (as well as the Cubans for Lourdes), because when we left there, the Americans immediately tried to conclude an agreement on the lease of former Soviet military-technical facilities with the prospect of adapting them to the US military needs. However, despite all the attempts of the Pentagon, the Vietnamese did not give them the bay, continuing, in fact, to wait for our return. For Vietnam, the Russian presence in Cam Ranh is also beneficial - the level of their security in relations with their closest neighbors, China and the United States, increases significantly. Do not forget that Vietnam, despite its limited territory, is a fairly large country with a rapidly growing economy, which is catching up with Russia in terms of population.

"SP": - But questions immediately arise - will the bay be used for temporary entry of ships serving in the Indian Ocean, how many ships can we permanently base in Cam Ranh at the moment?

Sure. But if agreements on our return are concluded, then it is clear that there will be a small military facility in Cam Ranh, which cannot be compared in terms of the level of forces and means with what it was during the Soviet era. But that will be enough.

For example, before our active intervention in the Syrian conflict, the 720th logistics point of the Russian Navy located in Tartus consisted of two floating berths 100 meters long with a pair of warehouses, a barracks and several buildings on the shore. Plus, there was one floating workshop of the Black Sea Fleet on a permanent basis on rotation. However, this facility also provided us with a permanent presence in the Mediterranean. Now we understand how important it was to resist the pressure and maintain the PMTO there, which is now becoming our full-fledged base in the region. Although chief of General Staff Anatoly Kvashnin insisted that Russia withdraw from Tartus as well as from Lourdes and Camrani.

But if today we want to play an influential role in world politics, we need to strengthen our military presence on other continents.

In Soviet times, Cam Ranh from PMTO grew into the largest military base of the USSR abroad - with a mooring complex, an airfield covered by air defense units, on which the OSAP (separate mixed air regiment) was based. It consisted of Tu-95, Tu-142, squadrons Tu-16 and Mig-25, transport An-24 and several helicopters, - notes deputy Director of the Institute of Political and Military Analysis Alexander Khramchikhin... - About 20 ships and vessels of the Navy, about 40 aircraft were constantly present in Cam Ranh. By June 2001, when Russia announced that it had decided not to renew the agreement with Vietnam on the lease of the base, most of the berthing fleet and port facilities had already been transferred to the use of the Vietnamese side and, in fact, only the PMTO remained there.

It is quite clear that Vietnam agreed to hand over Cam Ranh to the USSR (during the Vietnam War it was located in South Vietnam and was a large rear base of US troops) only after Beijing's aggression in 1979. That is, Vietnam signed an agreement with the USSR so that the Soviet Union would contain China. And if now the Vietnamese are calling us back again, then again with the same purpose - to contain China. And to what extent today's Russia is ready to come there in this context is an interesting question. From my point of view, it is necessary to return there, but what the Kremlin thinks about this is difficult to say.

In general, it is not even necessary to keep ships in Cam Ranh on a permanent basis, especially since, with all the desire, we cannot do this now - we simply do not have enough ships. But it is enough to have an infrastructure or, in the end, use the Vietnamese one to provide a military presence there. By the way, dozens of ships are not necessarily in the roads at American bases abroad. There may not even be a single one standing there, but the important fact is that there is a base where US military personnel are serving, aviation is located, and where ships can calmly enter for refueling, replenishing supplies, and undergoing repairs.

On the one hand, talk about the return of the Russian Federation to Cam Ranh is still only rhetoric, on the other hand, it is a good opportunity to return the country to the status of a great power for relatively little money, '' said a researcher at the Center for Analysis of Strategies and Technologies. Andrey Frolov, editor-in-chief of the Arms Export magazine... - Undoubtedly, the presence of a military facility in the APR simplifies the fulfillment of tasks of strategic aviation and ships of the Pacific Fleet's combat service, which go to the Indian Ocean to fight piracy or to train with the Indian Navy. But in my opinion, based in Cam Ranh is not a matter of primary importance at the moment. As they say, the devil is in the details: in any case, you will have to pay for the rent, and it is one thing if the Vietnamese demand tens of millions of dollars, and another if a barter agreement is concluded.

At the moment, Russia has enough and free access to Cam Ranh - a corresponding agreement has been signed and is in effect. Over the past 10 years, Russia in this region has not performed any serious tasks, and the ships of the Pacific Fleet (as a rule, as part of a larger anti-submarine ship, tanker and rescue vessel) still have the opportunity to go to Cam Ranh and refuel.
