Goals and plans in front of you. What is the correct goal? What to do if the achievement of the goal is disappointing

Regardless of whether you have big goals in life or small dreams, set goals for yourself as you achieve them. To achieve some things, you will have to spend all your life, and to achieve some, a couple of three days will be enough. When your plans and dreams come true, you feel the same indescribable sense of accomplishment and dignity. Getting started with your dreams may seem daunting, but we'll show you how.

Steps

Set achievable goals

    Define goals in life. Ask yourself some important questions about what you want in your life. What do you really want to achieve: today, in a year, or in your entire life? The answers to these questions can be quite general, for example, "I want to be happy", or "I want to help people." Imagine what you hope to achieve in 10, 15 or 20 years.

    • The goals can be completely different, for example, start your own business, lose weight, or one day start a family.
  1. Divide your life goals into smaller tasks. Divide your life into specific areas or areas that you would like to change or improve over time. These can include: career, finance, family, education, or health. First, ask yourself the question, what exactly do you want to achieve in each of the areas of life within 5 years.

    • For such a life goal as: “I want to be in shape”, you can set yourself small tasks, for example: “I want to eat healthy food” or “I want to run a marathon”.
    • For such a life goal as: "I want to have my own business", the tasks can be: "I want to learn how to effectively manage a business" and "I want to open my own bookstore."
  2. Set short term goals. Now that you already roughly know what you want to achieve in a few years, you can concentrate on completing specific tasks. Set for yourself a reasonable time frame for completing tasks, in the case of short-term - no more than a year.

    Turn your tasks into steps towards achieving your goal. In general, you must decide why you are setting this task for yourself and what it will contribute to. Here are a few good questions to ask yourself: Is it worth it? Should I start it now? Do I really want this?

    • For example, if you want to get in shape in life, it may be a short-term challenge for you to take up a new sport within 6 months, however, ask yourself how much it will help you to run a marathon. If not, change the task so that it becomes the next step towards achieving your goal.
  3. Reevaluate your tasks periodically. Your life goals may not change, however, sometimes think about revising your short-term goals. Will you be able to achieve them within the given time frame? Are they still necessary in achieving your life goal? Be flexible with short-term goals.

    • Perhaps you have achieved good results in running 5 km and after a few workouts you should change your goal from “run 5 km” to “run 10 km.” Over time, you can set other goals, like “run half a marathon” and then “run a marathon”.
    • To start your own business, after completing tasks such as completing accounting courses and finding premises, you can set yourself the task, for example, take a loan for a small business, buy a premises, get a license from the local administration. After purchasing or renting premises, acquire books, hire staff and open the doors of your store. Before long, you may be thinking about opening a second one.

    Follow an effective strategy to achieve your goal

    1. Be specific about your goals. Before setting a goal, you need to know if it can be an answer to very specific questions: who, what, where, when and why. When setting a task for yourself, understand how useful it will be in achieving your life goal.

      • Being in shape has a rather vague wording. Therefore, it is worth creating a more specific goal "to run a marathon", which, in turn, is achieved through short-term goals - "to run 5 km." When you set yourself a similar task, answer the questions: who? - I what? - run 5 km, where? - in a local park, when? - within 6 weeks, why? - to achieve your goal and run a marathon.
      • In order to start your own business, create a short-term task “take accounting courses”. She can answer the following questions: who? - I what? - accounting courses, where? - in the library, when? - every Saturday for 5 weeks, why? - to manage the budget of your company.
    2. Create measurable tasks. In order to be able to track progress, goals must be measurable. "I'm going to walk more" is much more difficult to assess than "I'm going to do 16 laps every day." In fact, you should have several ways to measure your results.

      • “Run 5 km” is a challenge that can be evaluated. You know exactly when you need to do it. It may be necessary to create other short-term goals like “run at least 3 km three times a week”. This all works for the task set before you, after reaching which the next measurable task will be “to run 5 km a month, in 4 minutes”
      • Also, the task of “taking accounting courses” is quite measurable. These are specific activities to go and sign up for and attend lessons once a week. A less specific task is to “teach accounting,” you will never know whether you have achieved your goal or not, whether you have completed your task.
    3. Be realistic in setting goals. It is important to assess the situation as honestly as possible for yourself and understand how realistic the implementation of your goals is, whether you have everything to implement them. Ask yourself this question if you have enough knowledge, time, skills, or resources.

      • In order to run a marathon, you need to spend a lot of time jogging. If you don't have enough free time, this task unacceptable to you. If so, find another task for yourself that takes less time and can help you reach your global goal.
      • If you want to open your own bookstore, but you have no experience of such work, no start-up capital, no honest understanding of the mechanism of the bookstore, you do not like reading at all, you should probably give up own goal, because, perhaps, you will not achieve success.
    4. Prioritize. At any point in your life, you have several tasks at different stages of completion. Decisive has a definition of the importance of a task or goal. If it turns out that you have too many tasks to complete, you will feel overwhelmed. This will lead to the fact that the final goal will never be achieved.

    5. Track your progress. Writing in personal diaries or journals is a great way to keep track of your progress, both for personal and professional purposes. Self-assessment is the key to staying motivated to achieve your goal. This method may even inspire you to work harder.

      • Ask friends to track your progress and help you stay on track. For example, if you are training for a serious race, meet regularly with a friend who will oversee your goals.
      • If you are training for a marathon, write down in a journal or diary your accomplishments, how far and how long you ran, and how you felt about doing so. Seeing where you started will be more motivated to complete more challenging tasks.
      • Once you've run a marathon, you have to figure out what you want next. Do you want to run another marathon and improve your time? Perhaps you want to try your hand at triathlon? Or do you want to go back to running 5 and 10 km again?
      • After opening your store, do you want to take part in social events, lead literary circles or literacy circles? Perhaps you want to make money more money? Maybe you should open a cafe in the store or in the next room?
    • Use the SMART method to set effective goals. The SMART method is used in the work of trainers, motivation specialists, in the human resources departments and in educational system to determine goals, achievements and attitudes. Each of the letters SMART is the beginning of a concept that helps in achieving the assigned tasks.

Each person has his own main goal in life, to which he aspires. Or even multiple goals. Throughout life, they can change: losing their importance, some are removed, and instead, others appear, more relevant. How many should there be, these goals?

Successful people argue that a person's 50 goals in life are not at all the maximum. The longer the list of your goals, the better you will be able to sort out your true desires.

For example, at the age of fifteen, John Goddard set himself not even 50 vital, main goals that he sought to achieve, but 127! For the uninitiated, information: we are talking about a researcher, anthropologist, traveler, holder of scientific degrees, a member of the Society of French Explorers, the Royal Geographical Society and the Archaeological Society, and a multiple Guinness World Record holder.

On his half-century anniversary, John celebrated 100 of the 127 goals he had set. His busy life can only be envied.

Goals so that there is no shame and pain

A happy person is called accomplished, successful. No one would call a loser happy - being successful is part of being happy. Almost everyone remembers Ostrovsky's famous phrase from "How I Was Tempered to Become" about how to live your life. Especially bright is the end of the quote: “So that it does not hurt excruciatingly ...” So that at the end of life it is not painful and ashamed of the time spent aimlessly, you need to set tasks for yourself today.

To consider life successful, a person must achieve 50 of the most important life goals by old age. Summing up the results of his life, a person compares what he dreamed of with what he achieved. But it so happens that over the years it is difficult to remember many of your desires and goals, so it is difficult to make comparisons. That is why it is so important to write the 50 most important goals in life on a piece of paper, periodically re-read the list.

Another important aspect- try to write it down. This means that your goals must meet five important criteria: concreteness, measurability, relevance, attainability, limited time.

Human needs

Before making a list, you should understand what is a priority, vital for a person. Air, drink, food, sleep are the 4 most important needs of organic life. The second row is health, housing, clothing, sex, rest - necessary attributes of life, but secondary ones. Unlike animals, a person is not only characterized by elementary satisfaction of vital needs, he wants to do this, receiving aesthetic pleasure.

It is impossible for a person to live without satisfaction of primary needs, and without satisfaction of secondary needs, it is difficult. Therefore, if at least one link of this chain is destroyed, a person suffers physically - firstly, morally - secondly. He is unhappy. But even if all the vital needs of the individual are satisfied, his life cannot be called happy. Here's a paradox.

Therefore, the 50 vital, priority goals of a person must necessarily include points, thanks to the implementation of which the primary and secondary needs of a person would be satisfied.

Listing goals such as "buy own house"Or" have a rest at the sea "," make the necessary medical operation "or" cure and insert teeth "," buy a fur coat "and" buy a car "may not be so important for complete happiness (why - will be discussed below), but achieving them makes living on earth is more comfortable for people. To meet these needs, to achieve the goals listed above, an individual needs money. And, selecting the 50 most important goals of a person, it is imperative to include an item in the list concerning financial condition the individual. Examples of such goals:

  • find a high-paying job;
  • open your own business;
  • to ensure that the business generates a net income of more than $ 10,000 per month, and the like.

Demand as the main component of happiness

In addition, for the full happiness of the individual, something else is needed. And this "something" is called recognition. Only being in demand does a person feel their significance, feel pleasure, happiness. The criterion of recognition for each person is different. For some, a simple "thank you" for the cooked dinner is enough. Others feel a feeling of complete happiness from the manifestations of tenderness of a sexual partner - this is recognition, a singling out of the personality among all others.

For some, it is enough to bring sterile cleanliness in the house and hear words of admiration from neighbors, while others need to see delight in the eyes of those they meet at the sight of their appearance, figure, outfits, hairstyles. For others, it is important to recognize them as wonderful parents. For the fourth, recognition is needed at a broader level. These fourth ones do not limit the circle of people they want to be recognized as, relatives, loved ones, neighbors, fellow travelers, passers-by.

These are scientists, discoverers, big businessmen, people of creative and other professions. The most successful are people who receive recognition from both their loved ones, friends, children, neighbors, and from colleagues, fans, viewers, readers - a wider circle of people. It is important to add the relevant items to the list of “50 goals in my life”. Examples of such goals might be:

  • find your soul mate to create a family, which (who) will be such and such, to whom I will have respect, love (passion), feelings should be reciprocal;
  • help your son complete school successfully;
  • give children a higher education;
  • defend a thesis;
  • release your own collection of stories (CD of songs) or organize an exhibition of paintings.

Intermediate goals

Achieving global goals requires action to help move forward. Therefore, it is necessary to write intermediate goals related to professional development, education, and skills acquisition. And in the list of "50 human life goals" examples of these can be:

  • read the collected works of Dostoevsky;
  • reading aids for a businessman, which was authored by John Rockefeller (for example, "" success;
  • study of life stories and ways to success of prominent figures in science and culture;
  • studying of foreign language;
  • obtaining a second education.

This list can be continued at its own discretion, based on the main goals.

Motivating goals

In order to achieve the main goals, incentives are needed that take the position of intermediate goals. They are included in the list by designating; "50 intermediate human life goals"... The list of these goals includes items:

  • go on a trip around the world;
  • buy a new laptop;
  • make repairs in the apartment;
  • update your wardrobe for the new season.

Some may write the points "to do a plastic surgery of the face" or "to carry out abdominoplasty of the abdomen." Indeed, for many, improving their appearance is a hidden desire, of which they are sometimes ashamed. But when making a list of motivating goals, you must definitely write those that will give a person pleasure in life. These goals do not have important vital needs, but without joy and pleasure a person withers, he is bored with life, the meaning of achieving the main goals is lost.

Many people dream of a happy life, but for them this happy life seems unattainable, so dreams remain dreams. To ask the question "How to achieve the set goals?", You need at least from reflections "Now, if I were beautiful, smart and had a million dollars, I would be happy!" and lamentations "How unhappy I am!" go to planning life.

The question of the ability to correctly identify and successfully achieve personal goals is deeper and more difficult than it might seem at first glance. This is a question not so much about a number of correct steps on the path to success, but about the type of thinking of a person, about his worldview and attitude.

Even if we provide a subject who does not understand the value of the knowledge gained, does not believe in himself or has an attitude like "This is my lot, nothing can be done ...", simple, fast, one hundred percent acting and efficient algorithm achieving goals, he is more likely not will take advantage of them, rather than adopt.

This would be the same as giving the monkey an umbrella after showing you how to use it. She may understand the algorithm of actions, but she is unlikely to appreciate the excellent opportunity to hide from the rain at any moment, she is used to living without an umbrella and, most likely, out of habit, she will continue to get wet in the rain or hide in the foliage of trees.

People keep on living out of habit, even if life does not suit them, they continue to envy others and doubt themselves, they know exactly what they don’t want, but they don’t know what exactly they need for happiness, they are afraid of changes and have many other fears and prejudices.

Many books and articles have already been written, psychologists conduct trainings and seminars on the topic "How to achieve the set goals", but according to statistics, only 10% people apply in practice their theoretical knowledge or practical skills.

It is not enough to gain knowledge of how to achieve the goal, you need go to action, start applying knowledge in practice. The dream needs to be transformed into a goal!

Yes, a person is far from omnipotent, there are goals so lofty and global that life is not enough to achieve them, but this does not mean that they are unattainable in principle and that it is useless to try.

Features of the thinking of a purposeful person

A purposeful person will always achieve his goal if his goal is desirable, reasonable, humane and beautiful in its essence.

In order to develop in yourself purposefulness and learn how to achieve your goals, you need to remember a few rules:

To achieve goals over and over again, it is very important to be grateful to myself, fate, loved ones for everything that has been, now there is also for the fact that there is always an opportunity to achieve even more.

How to Achieve Your Goals: 7 Steps to Success

To achieve what you want, psychologists recommend:

  1. Formulate the goal correctly.

This step makes a huge difference. Having made a mistake in formulating a goal, there is a chance of not achieving what you want or, having achieved, not living up to your own expectations.

The chosen goal should be personally significant, desired and personally determined by the person who wants it! A person himself strongly and sincerely should want to achieve the goal and feel that having achieved it, he will be satisfied.

The goal should be specific, relevant, really achievable, measurable, defined in time.

It should be as clear a task as possible, written down in a positive way on a piece of paper. Better yet, to describe your goal separate notebook.

  1. Describe the current state of affairs.

Situation on this moment- this is the starting point, the path begins from it, the intermediate results, the final state of affairs and the changes achieved in life will be compared with it.

  1. Make a list of bonuses, which will be obtained as a result and together with the achievement of the goal.

Bonuses are those advantages and additional benefits that will bring with it the achievement of the desired. The more you can find, the better.

  1. List possible internal or external obstacles on the way to the goal.

Obstacles that can be eliminated in advance, eliminated, be ready for the rest, think over possible actions and take into account their likelihood when drawing up a plan to achieve the goal.

  1. Make a plan to achieve the goal.

How to achieve the goal? What specific actions should be taken and in what order?

The plan can consist of just one action, or it can include many points and sub-points, depending on the complexity of the goal.

Having come up with a plan, you need to paint it step by step, stage by stage, in the correct sequence.

It is important to understand that not every goal can be achieved only on their own, so you need to think over and write down what additional knowledge, information, materials, devices, things, funds, and so on you need to acquire, as well as make a list of specialists, relatives, friends, mentors, whose help will be needed.

  1. Start to act!

Daily you need to re-read your goal and do something from what is scheduled in the action plan! Every day, you need to take steps towards your dream.

To maintain motivation, read the list of bonuses, and to strengthen faith in yourself - a description of where you started the journey. If obstacles arise, find them in the list of possible obstacles and correct them next steps... If the obstacle turned out to be unexpected, do not lose heart, but look for a way out of their situation.

Not giving up halfway and continuing to be active helps visualization- a clear and precise presentation of the goal as if it has already been achieved.

And small and big goals require perseverance, perseverance, faith in oneself, patience, obtaining new knowledge, the ability to think strategically and creatively, mental and physical strength.

Pursuit of the goal develops personality, in the process of achieving it, a person grows above himself and receives pleasure from it, and when the goal is achieved, he becomes even more strengthened in faith in his capabilities, feels the desire to further grow and develop personally.

How often do you manage to achieve your goal?

We all know and love to dream. But when we open our eyes, we see that in real life only a few of us make our dreams come true. In part, this happens precisely for the reason that someone sets the right goals for themselves, and someone does not. Why does this happen? Why does someone succeed, and someone does not? And most importantly: what goals should you set for yourself in the 21st century? Let's try to figure it out.

Ask yourself: what do you really want? What is really important to you and what is not? The answer to this question is kind of a key. If you do not know what exactly you want to achieve in life, or you often switch from one option to another, you cannot open the lock. It seems obvious, but most people realize their plans this way for the simple reason that they do not understand very clearly what they really need. It seems that I want both more money and free time. I want a strong relationship with a loved one, but at the same time, inner freedom. Man scatters his energy. Works in all directions. But in the end, he does not achieve results in any of them.

Many people ask, what should be the goal? Big or small? Global or Local? Short term or long term? The goal should be formulated to inspire you. Your goal should motivate you. At the very thought of her, you should be energized.

Because goals like "paying off the loan" do not inspire a person at all. On the contrary, they once again only remind of something unpleasant, sad. And repeating this attitude every day is very easy to drive yourself into depression.

Goals modern man slightly different from what people wanted 20 or 30 not ago. The world is changing. People change. Desires, goals, all of this is also transformed in one way or another. Still, there are 4 types of goals that any modern person should set for himself. Let's take a look at them:

  1. You should have a goal to improve something in yourself. Develop some skill. Get rid of some flaw. In general, to become better externally or internally. This forms in a person the habit of improving, developing. After all, a person must improve, follow a certain internal program of personal growth. Because if this is not done, the person begins to degrade. The result of this degradation is obvious: a TV box of chips and some kind of show. Think about what skills you would find useful in the future? What character traits would you like to develop in yourself? This will be the first goal that you need to set yourself.
  2. You should strive to improve your financial situation.The more civilized the world in which we live becomes, the more relevant the issue of money becomes. It seems to be a paradox. But the more "perfect" human civilization becomes, the more role money plays in it. Therefore, the second most important reason is sufficient financial inflow. And the second goal that you need to set yourself is to increase your income level.Why only the second and not the first? Because a degraded person, by definition, cannot increase his income. These are two opposite vectors. No, though! Increase it for a short time. Having cheated. Substituting. Outwitting. But you cannot create a stable source of income for yourself in this way.Think about what opportunities to raise your income level do you have today? There may be some interesting area for investment, but are you postponing this decision? Or is there an opportunity to move to another job, but you are afraid to do so? Write down your improvement goal financial situation... This will be the second goal to strive for.
  3. Don't forget to rest.Vacation is the last thing most people think about. But we are not robots! We have mood swings. The battery may suddenly run out. In general, a person's rest directly affects his performance. Therefore, the third goal that we will set for ourselves is a good rest.Think about how you would like to relax? What would you like to do? What places would you like to visit? Unleash your desires and shape your third goal.
  4. Think about your health today... As a rule, people start to take care of their health only when something already starts to hurt. But our health is also the health of our children. They certainly shouldn't pay for our way of life!Remember, we are living in an age of enhancers, substitutes, dyes, and other food additives. Vegetables and fruits are chemically processed. You cannot drink water from the tap, although 20-30 years ago this was the norm. It is not for nothing that doctors say that a person digs his own grave with a spoon. Therefore, think about it and set a goal for yourself related to your health.

These four goals are the most important in the life of any modern person. Of course, we are all individual and surely each person has many other dreams and desires. But they will most likely be slightly less prioritized. What goals do you set for yourself today?

In the previous issue, I talked about, Today, I will already talk about how to put them correctly in order for attention: achieve them and succeed.

P.s. I regularly set goals for myself, as proof I show you my Whatman paper, which was hanging in my house, where my goals for 2016 were. (now they have all been completed):

PPs. brought a photo so that you understand everything that I will tell you below, from my own experience (I do not pretend to anything). This is how I personally achieve my goals.

The scheme really WORKS and REALLY HELPS TO ACHIEVE GOALS and, accordingly, SUCCESS! Of course, provided that you act, if you do not act, even if you have the right goals, not a damn thing will come of it. I think this is understandable, but still 😀

And so, I remind you for those who forgot or did not read the previous article at all:

Target- this is the final result you want, for the achievement of which a clear, specific plan of action has been developed with a specific time frame for the implementation of the plan.

An example of end goals:

  • Burn FAT (lose weight) by 24 kg in 3 months (February, March, April).
  • Gain 10 kg of MUSCLES in 5 months (February, March, April, May, June).
  • For 4 months (February, March, April, May) earn and collect $ 5,000 and buy a car "brand (brand)".
  • For 1 month (February) earn and collect $ 700 to buy a "brand (brand)" watch.
  • etc.

The ultimate goal means - the final desired RESULT! What must be achieved!

The ultimate goal must have a target!

Subgoals- this is what exactly needs to be done in order to realize the final goal. Without sub-goals, fulfilling a serious end goal = very, very difficult, and rather impossible at all.

Well, imagine, your ultimate goal is to BURN FAT (lose weight) by -24 kg in 3 months (Feb, Mar, Apr).

Without a clear plan (specific actions, what and how to do, how much to lose weight per week, per month, in general, without clear actions what and how to do in the time frame you need in order to achieve the final goal by the time you need), you hardly have anything work out.

You will have doubts, and suddenly it will not work, suddenly it will not work, suddenly I will not fit, in general, you will be insecure in yourself, in your abilities. And this is, damn it, the wrong approach to business!

And when there are sub-goals (specific actions, a plan, how much you need to lose weight per week, per month), you understand that the ultimate goal is not so incredible and unattainable. And doing this and that, at such and such a time (in our example, losing so much weight per week and per month) = you will definitely be at the final goal at the time you need, which at first (without sub-goals) seemed to you some then blurry, incomprehensible, incredible ...

EXAMPLE OF SUB-OBJECTIVES, ultimate goal: TO BURN FAT -24 kg in 3 months (ferval, March, April)

3 months; every month there are 4 weeks, which means for 1 week. (7 days) I will lose weight by -2 kg, and then for each month I will lose -8 kg and, accordingly, in 3 months the very necessary -24 kg will come out;

FEBRUARY:

MARCH: in general, lose - 8 kg; there are 4 weeks, -2 kg. / 1 week (-2x4 = -8).

APRIL: in general, lose - 8 kg; there are 4 weeks, -2 kg. / 1 week (-2x4 = -8).

TOTAL 3 FOR A MONTH (Feb. Mar. Apr):-24 kg. (the ultimate goal is achieved).

This is what I am, briefly showing you an example. Maybe everything is much more detailed. See for yourself. I would do this, because I already understand everything, i.e. I know that I need to lose -2kg per week, and in 1 month, eventually, I have to lose -8kg. And so 3 months, and I will reach my goal (-24kg).

There would be no subgoals, you wouldn't know how to reach -24 in 3 months. You would think, damn it, well, I need -24kg in 3 months. Ok, I'll try. Not right anymore. You don't need to try, you need to clearly know how much you need to lose weight per week, per month, in order to keep within the required -24kg in 3 months. There should be no doubt, there should be no lack of self-confidence and self-confidence. There should be a clear end goal with clear sub-goals. All point! If you do not have this = then you have set the wrong goal. And most likely (probably) you will not achieve it. This is why it is so important to get it right.

SET A PURPOSE = NECESSARY IN THE LITERAL SENSE OF THIS WORD!

All your goals need to be written down on paper. In a notebook, a notebook, on a Whatman paper, a blackboard, in a smartphone, in general, wherever you want. Keeping goals in mind = what is this anyway? What the hell is this? This is the wrong approach. Be sure to SET a goal! Do you hear? BET! Write down.

Everything should be clearly stated: clear, specific end goals with clear sub-goals.

Formulate your goals as accurately as possible.

If you LOSE, then HOW MUCH? How much?

Example: BURN FAT -24 kg in 3 months (ferval, March, April).

Everything. See? A clear statement of purpose! If you write a goal: lose weight by summer. This is not the goal. This is some kind of blurry garbage, tk. there is no time frame, no how many kg to lose weight, there is no specifics. Do you understand?

There will not be a correctly formulated, clear specific goal, there will be no correct subgoals, in the end, well, this is the wrong approach to business, nothing will be achieved in this way!

Set goals that you can achieve (realize).

If you earn 10-20 thousand rubles / month there, and have set a goal for next year to earn and buy a Ferrari, well, you cannot afford this task, and the goal will not be fulfilled.

Because you are jumping over your head. You understand? Set realistic goals that you are able to accomplish in the foreseeable future.

IN ADDITION TO THE PURPOSE SET => VISUALIZE IT (PHOTO)!

The fact is that there is a direct connection between how clearly you see the goal, and how quickly you reach it. The more blurry the picture = the slower the process. And vice versa, if it is too clear, you will very quickly approach it (to your goal, to what you want).

Therefore, visualize your goal, attach your photos. This will stimulate / motivate you more and more to move forward in order to achieve what you want (to achieve the goal).

WORK CONSTANTLY (ACT).

Inaction will bring you nothing. With no action, even if there is an ultimate goal (and subgoals) = not a damn thing will come of it. Must be permanent job, work and work again to achieve your goal (desires, dreams). And then, and only then, there will be a RESULT.

By the way, yes, on your way, you will undoubtedly have difficulties, failures, breakdowns, stresses, jambs, etc. etc., without it - nothing. I, at least, do not know such people who achieve their goals by moving in a straight line. This is impossible! Well, this does not happen.

Therefore TIP: do not be afraid. Don't be afraid to endure and fail (or fail). Do not quit, do not chase depression, etc. but just keep going, be ready to make many attempts to realize your goals (desires, dreams, etc.), and all these failures are an invaluable EXPERIENCE that makes you stronger, better, etc. HE ONLY DEVELOPS YOU!

MORE DEEP (and efficient) control scheme

You can go even deeper, and constantly (daily) control your life and time:

  1. FIRST PUT YOUR END OBJECTIVES IN YOURSELF(what must be achieved by you).
  2. DAILY in the morning or in the evening (before bedtime) write in your diary (yes, you need a diary) what you need to do today (if you wrote it down in the morning) or tomorrow (if you wrote it down in the evening, before bedtime) in order to get closer to fulfilling these ultimate goals ...
  3. When you complete all the TASKS for the day - if, of course, you want your life to pass with meaning)) - need to encourage yourself(go for a walk with friends, go to the movies, buy yourself something, etc., etc.).

The vast majority of people have no goals. There are only dreams. But dreams are not goals. DREAMS are just dreams, which often remain dreams until the end of their days. Contrary to goals! Set your goals correctly, constantly work to achieve them, and you are guaranteed success.
