Using special tools that are in almost every home, you can achieve results no worse than those that are achieved by frequent visits to cosmetology centers.

The secret of facial skin care at home consists of several simple steps:

  1. Skin cleansing stage. Removal of makeup, dead cells, dust, sweat.
  2. The stage of skin toning, in which we remove inflammation on the skin.
  3. Moistening stage. Supports balance and fluid exchange in the facial skin.
  4. Skin nourishment stage. These include procedures that support the regeneration of skin cells, the protective mechanisms of the skin.
  5. Protective stage. Actions aimed at preventing damage to the skin of the face by external factors: snow, temperature changes, hot sun, etc.

By following these tips, you can keep your face in great shape. Facial skin care depends on the amount of fat and moisture in the cells. According to these criteria, the following skin types can be distinguished:

  1. "Oily" facial skin. It is characterized by a lot of secretions of subcutaneous fats, acne or pimples are often formed.
  2. Dry skin of the face. For this type of skin, wrinkles, dehydration and flaking processes are not uncommon.
  3. Problem skin. There is a lot of redness, inflammation and acne.
  4. Combined integuments. The distribution of subcutaneous fat is not uniform. For the area of the nose, chin, forehead, oily skin problems are characteristic. The rest of the areas are dry.
  5. Normal skin. Very thin skin, no problems with inflammation, subcutaneous fat and water balance.

Oily skin care

For this type of skin, the cleansing step will be the most important. It is advised to clean your face at least 3 times a day. Water and soap can be used. The tonic properties will help get rid of the following problems - inflammation and acne. If you use various creams to keep your face fresh, watch out for their greasiness, do not use very greasy creams. Keep track of the amount of cosmetics - the abundance clogs the pores of the skin, impairs its defense mechanisms. The best means of caring for such skin are masks.

  1. Take 50 gr. honey, 25 gr. yogurt and lemon juice (about 18 gr.). Mix all the ingredients and apply the mixture to your face. After 15 minutes, wash off the mask.
  2. Take 1 chicken egg, isolate the protein and add 10 drops of citrus juice to it. Mix the mixture and make a mask out of it for 20 minutes.
  3. Make a decoction of calendula (take 20 grams of calendula flowers and steam in boiling water). Apply compresses to your face for 10-20 minutes.
  4. In 100 ml. boiled warm water, add 20 gr. dill. Boil the broth for 5 minutes, add the whipped egg white to it and apply the mask in "layers". Wash it off after the procedure.

"Dry skin

Dryness of the skin is due to the lack of vitamins C and A. If you want to correct the condition of your skin, you should change your diet and add fruits and vegetables that are rich in these vitamins. Keep track of the amount of fluids you drink per day. You need to drink at least 2 liters. water. The use of soap, alcohol-containing products is contraindicated. It is recommended to use high fat creams and gels to nourish the skin. You should be careful with external factors: sun, wind, frost. They have a negative effect on dry skin. For this type of skin, moisturizing masks are used.

  1. Take 1 apple, 10 gr. sour cream and 5 gr. olive oil. Chop an apple, add butter and sour cream to it. Apply the mask for 15 minutes.
  2. Take 20 g. honey and the same amount of cottage cheese. Mix the ingredients until smooth. The mask is applied for 15 minutes, after which it should be washed off and applied with a moisturizing, nourishing cream.
  3. Mix yarrow flowers, calendula and oatmeal in the same proportion. Grind the mixture (for example, in a coffee grinder) and add warm water. This mask is applied for 20 minutes.
  4. Boil 3 cabbage leaves in water (about 2-3 minutes). Cool them down and apply to your face. Before this, the face should be smeared with vegetable oil. After such a mask, which is done for 20 minutes, wipe the face with chamomile infusion.

Skin of this type is most dependent on the age of the person and over time, care will only get more complicated.

"Problematic" skin

If your skin type is exactly that, the main thing to do is to remove factors that may affect your skin. These include: stress, smoking, alcohol, various diseases of the human organs. If you constantly develop acne and inflammation on your skin, you should cleanse your face of bacteria, dust and dirt as often as possible. Do not squeeze out pimples, this can cause infection, the appearance of scars. If you suffer from "blackheads" or acne (blackheads) on your face, use special "deep" creams. Meanwhile, the following steps will help you:

  1. Take white clay and dissolve it in water to get a consistency that looks like sour cream. Cover your face with it and wait for it to dry.
  2. Take kefir and dilute it with 20 grams. yeast (dry). Using a special spatula, apply the paste to your face for 20 minutes.
  3. Select the protein from the egg, mix it with 30 gr. chopped sorrel. Apply the mixture to your face for 15 minutes, then rinse with a swab soaked in water.

For skin of this type, more complex cases are characteristic - age spots. If you encounter such a problem, you will be helped by:

  1. Mask from a glass of kefir and 1 ton of aspirin (the tablet should be crushed into powder). This mask is applied 10 minutes before bedtime.
  2. Squeeze the aloe juice out of 3 leaves. Soak a cotton swab in it and apply it to the stains, cover them with plastic. The procedure lasts 30 minutes.
  3. Take 1 cucumber, 10 gr. sour cream and 4 drops of citrus juice. After cutting out the flesh of the cucumber, chop it and mix with the rest of the ingredients. The mask is applied for 15 minutes
  4. Mix honey and onions in equal proportions. Do the mask for 20 minutes and rinse off with a cotton swab dipped in water.

"Combined" skin

The most common skin type. There is a T-zone (forehead, nose, chin), which contains a large number of sebaceous glands. For this part of the face, we can apply a type of "oily" skin care. Despite the T-zone, the rest of the face (the area around the eyes, cheeks, cheekbones) - have the properties of "dry" skin with possible peeling. For a face with this type of skin, creams with fruit acids are most often used. For the T-zone, light gels are used that improve the functioning of the sebaceous glands. For dry skin areas - moisturizers. Film masks will help, which remove layers of dead cells from the face and moisturize the skin.

  1. Take 10 grams. oatmeal, chop them. Pour boiling water over, wait 10 minutes. Take a spatula and apply the mixture on your face for 15 minutes.
  2. Flakes will be needed again. Take 30 g. flakes, mix with 40 gr. fruit juice and add 20 gr. honey. Long-lasting mask, must be put on for 30 minutes.
  3. Select the protein from the egg, add 30 grams to it. semolina and beat until smooth. Apply the mask for 15 minutes.

"Normal" skin

The "normal" skin type does not have the "usual" problems of the other types. The difficulty of leaving, in this case, lies in its regularity. Follow all the steps that we talked about at the beginning of the article. Cleanse your skin every day from dirt and dust. Do tonic, moisturizing procedures at least 3 times a week. External factors pose a separate danger. If it's very sunny outside, you should apply creams that contain SPF on your face (read the formulations of creams). If it's cold outside, the cream is applied before going out so that it has time to be absorbed (at least 30 minutes). Masks will not damage either:

  1. Separate the yolk of the boiled egg and grind it into powder. Add 5 ml. fruit juice. Apply the mask for 15 minutes.
  2. Take banana (ripe) and milk. Mash the banana with the peel, add milk to the mixture. The mask is applied for 15 minutes.

Care according to age

With growing up and aging, the intensity of the human body's work changes accordingly, and this also applies to the properties of the skin.

Facial care after 30 years

It is at this age that signs of a weakening of the regenerative abilities of the body become noticeable. Traces of stress, lack of sleep, and poor nutrition are clearly visible. At this age, restorative gels and creams are the first to be used. If you notice the formed, permanent wrinkles - start using creams to smooth them. Pay attention to the area around the eyes - it suffers most at this age. Anti-aging masks will also help:

  1. Mix 10 gr. flour and 10 gr. milk. Add the egg yolk to the mixture. The mask is applied for 15 minutes.
  2. Take equal amounts of currant leaves, linden flowers, plantains, strawberries and chop them. Pour boiling water over them and stir. Do this mask for 20 minutes.

At this age, lifestyle is of great importance - sleep more, eat normally. Anti-aging masks should be done more often.

Facial care after 40

The first priority is to use a night cream before bed. Such a cream should contain vitamins of groups E, F, C and retinol. Film masks should not be used - they injure and stretch the skin. The following masks will help:

  1. Mix equal proportions of honey, glycerin, water and ground oatmeal. Apply the mixture to your face for 20 minutes.
  2. Take 35 grams. beer (light) and heat it in a steam bath. Add 10 grams to it. olive oil and 30 gr. honey. Wait for it all to dissolve. Take a cotton swab and apply the mixture to your face. Wait 10 minutes. Rinse off the mask with water.
  3. Prepare a very thick semolina porridge and apply it all over your face. Wait 20 minutes and wash off the mask with a swab. Use baking soda and water to rinse.

Facial care after 50 years

At this age, the aging process begins in full. Use anti-aging and supportive treatments. A haphazard approach to facial skin care is unacceptable. The main task is to restore the protective functions of the skin. Protect your skin from exposure to ultraviolet radiation, avoid stressful situations. It will help you:

  1. Mash 3 apricots and a banana into the gruel, add 20 g. cream. Using a brush, apply the mixture to your face and décolleté.
  2. Take 30 g. cottage cheese, 10 gr. olive oil and 10 gr. honey. Mix ingredients and apply to face. Remove after 20 minutes by rinsing with water.
  3. Mix 10 gr. butter and 10 gr. cream. Add 10g. citrus juice. The mask is applied for 20 minutes. It is removed with a cotton swab dipped in a mixture of water and dry white wine.

Video lessons

Each representative of the beautiful half of humanity dreams of her face looking fresh and radiant and staying so for as long as possible. But, unfortunately, nature is arranged in such a way that over the years the skin loses its attractiveness, loses its firmness and elasticity, becomes covered with wrinkles, becomes flabby and dull. And the point here is not only in the natural aging processes, which, as you know, are inevitable, but also in the fact that the face is the most unprotected and vulnerable part of the human body. It always remains open, and therefore is constantly exposed to all kinds of negative factors. Facial skin is influenced by temperature changes, adverse weather conditions, and chemicals contained in cosmetics. In addition, internal malfunctions of the body (deficiency of vitamins, diseases of various organs and systems) are reflected in the condition of the skin. That is why facial skin needs comprehensive care.

Oddly enough, but not every lady knows how to properly care for her face. For many, taking care of the skin is limited to daily washing and applying cream, but this list of procedures is not enough to preserve its youth and beauty. So, what is complex skin care, what stages does it include and how to properly carry it out at home?

Comprehensive care: determination of skin type

To learn how to properly care for the skin of the face and correctly select cosmetics, it is necessary to know its type and its peculiarities. To do this, you can either consult with a beautician, or try to determine whether your dermis belongs to one or another type on your own, focusing on the characteristics described below:

  • Dry skin is rather thin, delicate, usually has a matte surface and small pores. In adolescence, such a dermis looks very attractive and practically does not cause problems to its owner. But after 30 years, tightness often appears, foci of peeling and irritation appear. Dry skin is very susceptible to external influences and is prone to premature aging, so the main thing in caring for it is to regularly provide protection from negative factors and sufficient moisture.
  • Oily skin - dense, porous, shiny. It quickly loses its freshness after washing, often becomes inflamed, and sometimes peels off. It is characterized by excessive activity of the sebaceous glands, which is to a certain extent regulated by sex hormones (the higher their level, the more secretion the glands produce). With age, the level of hormones in the body decreases, and therefore sebum secretion is usually normalized. Unlike dry, such a dermis does not age for a long time, retaining its smoothness and elasticity up to 35-40 years. Oily skin needs regular cleansing and moisturizing, because with an insufficient amount of moisture in the cells of the exocrine glands, they begin to work even more actively, and metabolic processes, on the contrary, slow down. As a result, the dermis loses its ability to function normally and interact with the environment.
  • Normal skin is smooth, clean, matte, contains a sufficient amount of oil and moisture, is not hypersensitive and is not prone to irritation, flaking and inflammation. This type of dermis does not cause serious problems for its owner, however, like other types, it needs full care, which should include regular cleansing, nutrition and hydration.
  • Combination (mixed) skin has a heterogeneous structure and color, combines 2 types of dermis: dry (or normal) in the cheeks and around the eyes and oily in the T-zone. On oily areas, it tends to form comedones and acne, and on dry areas - to irritation, peeling and premature formation of wrinkles. Caring for a mixed type of dermis requires a lot of effort. Here it is necessary to correctly delineate problem areas and select cosmetics for each of them in accordance with the existing problems. In addition to systematic home care, combined facial skin needs periodic salon cosmetic procedures.
  • Sensitive skin contains few pigments, a poorly expressed stratum corneum, its glands secrete an insufficient amount of fat. Such a dermis is characterized by an overreacting to the effects of any adverse factors, prone to irritation, redness and peeling. Sensitive skin care should be as delicate and gentle as possible.

If you are having difficulty identifying your skin type, do a simple test. Cleanse your face with a pH neutral cleanser (you can use regular baby soap). After about 2 hours, apply a thin paper towel to the skin (in the T-zone) and evaluate the result after a few seconds. If there are spots of fat on the paper, then your dermis belongs to the oily or combined type (in the second case, you may be worried about not only the greasy shine on the forehead, cheeks and wings of the nose, but also the feeling of tightness in the rest of the face). If the napkin is clean, you have dry skin, and the presence of barely noticeable traces indicates that your dermis belongs to the normal type.

The main stages of complex facial skin care

Skin care of any type must necessarily include several stages.

Cleansing

During the day, dust and dirt particles settle on the skin, toxic substances from the environment and secretions secreted by the sebaceous glands accumulate. Here you can also add decorative cosmetics (powder, foundation), which clogs the pores and interferes with normal cellular respiration. To remove all this, it is necessary to use special products selected in accordance with the type of dermis. So, for dry and normal skin, a cleansing foam that does not contain alkali (it contributes to the violation of the acidic environment of the epidermis) or baby soap is suitable. It is recommended to clean the oily dermis with the help of cosmetics, which include components that reduce the production of sebum. If there are signs of aging, it is advisable to carry out contrast rinsing of the face after washing, alternating between hot and cold water. This will improve the tone of the skin and small capillaries and smooth out fine wrinkles.

No less important for maintaining the beauty of the skin is deep cleansing, which involves exfoliation (exfoliation) of keratinized epithelial scales and removal of sebaceous plugs. Thanks to deep cleansing, skin blood circulation improves, metabolic processes are accelerated and cellular respiration is normalized. Exfoliation at home is carried out with the help of scrubs. Owners of dry and sensitive dermis should carry out such procedures no more than 1 time a week, normal - 1-2 times, and for those whose skin tends to be oily, peeling can be done 2-3 times in a seven-day period. Before scrubbing, you need to steam your face and gently blot it with a towel. The product should be applied in circular massaging movements, and after 5-7 minutes, rinse off with warm water. Scrubs for different skin types can, if desired, be prepared independently, using as a basis any cosmetic oils (preheated in a water bath), honey or cream, as abrasives - salt, sugar, ground coffee beans, crushed kernels or nut shells. In the presence of extensive foci of inflammation and spider veins, peeling is contraindicated.

Toning

This procedure helps to normalize the acid-base balance of the skin and prepares it for applying cream or milk, therefore, such manipulations must be performed twice a day after washing your face. Toning is carried out with the help of special means (tonics or lotions), which can differ not only in composition, but also in the spectrum of action. Toners are moisturizing, nourishing, emollient, and anti-inflammatory. There are also products designed specifically for the skin around the eyes. Instead of purchased cosmetics for toning the skin, you can use homemade mixtures prepared on the basis of herbal decoctions and infusions, cucumber juice, and serum. Owners of dry and sensitive skin are not recommended to include aggressive components in tonics - alcohol, acetic acid, lemon juice.

Another way to improve skin tone, give it freshness, firmness and elasticity is home cryotherapy - rubbing the face with ice cubes from filtered water, herbal decoctions, vegetable or fruit juices, green tea. To do this, you just need to take a piece of ice and move it along the skin along the massage lines until it melts (these manipulations are recommended to be performed daily after morning washing). The benefit of such procedures also lies in the fact that thanks to them it is possible to strengthen the walls of blood vessels, increase the resistance of the dermis to infections and smooth out shallow wrinkles. With increased sensitivity of the epidermis, as well as in the presence of pronounced rosacea and rosacea, it is better to refrain from cryotherapy.

Moisturizing

Skin of any type, including oily skin, needs regular saturation with moisture, since when it is lacking, cellular processes slow down. To moisturize the dermis, you can use creams, masks, compresses and serums. It is important to remember that some cosmetics should only be applied in the morning and others in the evening. During the day, it is beneficial to irrigate the skin with thermal water, which helps prevent dryness and restores barrier functions. Try to pay special attention to the skin around the eyes, because it practically does not contain sebaceous glands and reacts sharply to any external influences. In addition, it is in this area that wrinkles and other signs of aging appear first. Means intended for the care of the skin of the eyelids should be applied with light patting movements in the direction from the inner corner of the eye to the outer one. Such cosmetics should be selected in accordance with the problem that you want to eliminate (from dark circles and puffiness under the eyes, with a lifting effect, etc.).

The face cream should be applied strictly along the massage lines with tapping movements, avoiding excessive pressure, leading to stretching of the dermis and the formation of premature wrinkles. After a few minutes, if the cosmetic product is not completely absorbed, the excess must be removed with a napkin or sponge. It should be noted that it is necessary to moisturize the skin not only from the outside, but also, so to speak, from the inside. To do this, you should observe the drinking regime - consume at least one and a half liters of liquid per day.

Nutrition

For the full functioning of the skin and long-term preservation of its youth, it is necessary to provide it with regular nutrition. Since most of the nutrients enter the body with food, first of all, you need to adjust your diet so that it contains a sufficient amount of vital trace elements and vitamins. During the off-season, it is recommended to take preventive vitamin preparations and consume as much fresh herbs, vegetables and fruits as possible. As for the external nutrition of the dermis, special creams, serums and face masks come to the rescue, which must be applied to thoroughly cleansed skin with soft tapping movements. Excess cosmetics should be wiped off after 5-10 minutes to avoid clogged pores and to prevent comedones (blackheads). In the care of a problematic dermis prone to inflammation and irritation, it is necessary to use products containing components with antiseptic properties.

In addition to serums and creams, it is recommended to systematically (about twice a week) make nourishing face masks. You can purchase them from the store or make your own. In the second case, you need to use foods with nutritional properties - cream, sour cream, egg yolks, honey, vegetable oils, fruits. The composition of the mask should be selected depending on the type of dermis and the desired effect. If you have oily skin, add drying ingredients (lemon and berry juices, apple cider vinegar, blue or green clay) to cosmetic mixtures. Dairy products in this case must have a minimum percentage of fat content. Owners of dry and normal dermis need to use moisturizing ingredients (fat sour cream, cream, cucumber juice, sweet fruits). Any masks should be applied to previously cleansed skin for 20–40 minutes, and then washed off with warm water. After the procedure, you can wipe your face with an ice cube and lubricate with a cream intended for daily use.

Rejuvenation

At the age of 25-30, many women develop their first wrinkles, age spots and other signs of skin aging. To slow down the aging process and eliminate existing cosmetic defects, it is necessary to regularly carry out anti-aging procedures. It can be a special facial gymnastics, acupressure, classical or Japanese massage. Additionally, you should use anti-aging cosmetics containing hyaluronic acid, collagen, antioxidants and other components that help maintain skin firmness and elasticity. Anti-aging agents need to be selected in accordance with their age.

General recommendations for facial skin care at home

Taking care of your facial skin at home is easy and to some extent even pleasant, but in order for all your efforts not to be in vain, you need to follow a few simple rules:

  • Try to wash your face not with ordinary tap water, but with filtered, mineral or settled water. Tap water contains many impurities that dry out the skin, disrupt the sebaceous glands and reduce local immunity.
  • When drying your face with a towel, do not rub the skin to avoid injury or irritation. Use soft, natural towels and remember to wash or replace them daily.
  • Before purchasing a particular care product for the face, carefully study the information on the label, which indicates the composition of the cosmetics and its purpose. Choose creams, lotions, masks and other cosmetic products according to your skin type and age.
  • Use night and day creams at your own time. The fact is that each of these funds performs certain functions, for example, daytime cosmetics are designed to protect the skin during human activity, and nighttime cosmetics are for active nutrition of the dermis during rest.
  • Do not forget to pay special attention to the care of the eyelids and delicate skin around the eyes. For these areas, you need to purchase a special product (cream, gel, serum), which has a tonic and cooling effect, moisturizes the dermis and removes dark circles and puffiness under the eyes.
  • After a night's sleep, do facial exercises. Thanks to it, you will be able to maintain normal skin tone, fight shallow wrinkles. After gymnastics, it is recommended to wipe the skin with an ice cube to consolidate the effect.
  • Be sure to rinse off makeup before bed as particles clog pores and interfere with normal cellular respiration. Make-up removal is best done with a special milk or tonic.
  • Don't use the same line of care products all year round - you need to use different cosmetics for each season. In the cold season, you should purchase fatty creams that have a dense consistency, and in the warm season - light creams that can quickly be absorbed into the skin. During periods of high solar activity, before going outside, you should apply cosmetics containing UV filters to your face, which will protect the skin from ultraviolet radiation and help prevent the appearance of age spots.
  • To keep your skin young, fresh and beautiful as long as possible, follow a diet and adhere to a healthy lifestyle - get rid of bad habits, spend as much time as possible in the fresh air, devote at least 8 hours of sleep at night, and exercise.

If you follow all the above recommendations exactly and competently carry out comprehensive facial skin care, then it will be healthy, smooth and velvety, regardless of its type and age. If you have any cosmetic problems, try to immediately treat the skin, preferably with the help of a specialist who can determine the causes of the deterioration of the epidermis and recommend you the best ways to eliminate them.

Women at any age want to look young and well-groomed. But the skin of the face sometimes betrayed extra years or unfavorable working conditions (frequent exposure to the sun or frost, sudden changes in air temperature). To maintain the elasticity and freshness of the skin, it is enough to provide them with proper daily care.

Looking at the variety of cosmetics, you might think that daily facial skin care at home is a completely simple matter: choose and use. But improper use of cosmetics can provoke serious and intractable skin problems. A clear knowledge of how to take care of your skin, depending on its type and season, will help to avoid this.

If you take care of yourself every day, and not from time to time, the situation when you need to find a brilliant appearance in a matter of hours will not be taken by surprise. A person who knows what complex facial skin care is, will not shine from excess sebaceous secretions or "honk" with an abundance of acne.

Decide what type of skin your skin belongs to:

  • dry (differs by lethargy, peeling, and sensitivity, the appearance of capillaries and dry spots that are inflamed from the cold);
  • oily (characterized by enlarged pores, a tendency to acne);
  • combined (usually dry areas predominate on the cheeks, oily areas on the chin, nose and forehead);
  • normal (elastic and velvety, the pores are barely visible).

To determine the type of skin, you can do an experiment: immediately after waking up, apply a dry paper towel to your face.

  1. The wipe remains dry - dry or normal.
  2. Oily spots appeared in certain areas - combination skin.
  3. Fat spots all over the area of the napkin indicate oily skin.

Daily skin care will differ for different types of products, both the products used and the frequency of their use. But you need to look after in a certain sequence. The complex of home procedures consists of the following stages:

  • cleansing;
  • humidification;
  • toning;
  • food;
  • protection.

The subtleties of cleansing the skin of the face

During the night, the face becomes covered not only with secretions of the sebaceous glands, but also with dead cells of the epithelium, dust invisible to the eyes, which, combining with sebum, create a favorable environment for the reproduction of harmful bacteria - the appearance of pustules and acne. Therefore, in the morning, be sure to wash your face with soft, warm, clean water (hard water washes away cleaning agents worse). If there is no soft (melt or rain) water, boil tap water, add borax to it at the rate of 1 teaspoon per 2 liters of water.

For oily skin, wash your face with soap. Dry and normal can be simply wiped with any non-alcoholic cleansing agent (cosmetic milk or cleansing foam) or homemade herbal decoction according to the classic recipe: 1 tablespoon of raw materials per glass of boiling water.

Combination skin requires a combined approach - clean oily areas with a cotton swab dipped in liquid soap; just wash the rest of the zones with warm water. Moisturizing and toning treatments

Most modern day care products have a moisturizing and toning effect.

After cleansing, soothe irritated skin with a toning lotion or toner, or use home remedies such as non-alkaline mineral water. Wipe oily and normal skin with an ice cube - the procedure perfectly narrows pores.

Ice cubes can be prepared by yourself: make a decoction of any medicinal plant (sage, chamomile, calendula), cool, pour into molds and freeze.

Nutrition and protection

Not only painful dry skin needs nourishment, but also normal and even oily skin, especially after the cleaning procedure. Dry skin needs a rich nourishing cream rich in all kinds of trace elements, as well as oils.

A cream with vitamins A, C, E and herbal extracts with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties is suitable for oily and normal. thirty.

Procedures during the day and in the evening

If during the day you feel tension or tightening of the skin of the face, this indicates its dehydration, carry any moisturizer or nourishing agent in your purse. Apply it to a gauze pad and wipe down as needed. This "thirst quencher" will allow the skin to remain fresh and elastic throughout the day, which will significantly reduce the irritability characteristic of the dry type.

Oily skin begins to shine unpleasantly by the middle of the day. Paper napkins will help get rid of this. If, after drying, there is a feeling of constriction, fatigue in the face, then it needs moisturizing, use a moisturizing toner or thermal water, or a damp cloth.

Evening procedures practically repeat the morning set of activities. Particular attention to oily skin, for a deeper cleansing, use scrubs, but not more than twice a week.

A prerequisite for evening skin cleansing is to rinse off all cosmetics, including foundation and eye shadow. Leaving these funds on the face overnight is unacceptable - it deprives the skin of "breathing" and normal metabolism, which is why the next morning it will look flabby and tired, bags under the eyes will appear. Even a night cream should be applied 2 hours before bedtime, and immediately before bedtime, remove its remnants with a napkin. During this time, the cream will have time to penetrate into the deep subcutaneous layers, and its effect will not be affected in any way.

Features of skin care in the winter season

Proper skin care in winter should begin in the summer-autumn period, when the abundance of fresh vegetables and fruits allows you to maximize the saturation of the skin and the entire body with the necessary vitamins. Although it is impossible to stock up on vitamins for a long time, it is still better if the skin meets the beginning of a cold snap in a state strengthened and healed by the gifts of autumn. Facial treatments during cold weather are reduced to maximum saturation of the skin with nutrients and, oddly enough, moisturizing.

Winter winds and temperature changes deplete and dry out the skin, so moisture must enter the epithelium in the form of creams and with a sufficient amount of drink. Take care of your face in winter using nourishing masks.

A few simple recipes for masks

These versatile masks can be added to complete facial skin care including:

  • deep cleansing;
  • steam baths on infusions of medicinal plants;
  • mechanical "peels" of coffee grounds;
  • massage.

Winter skin care requires special attention to the dry type. Masks containing animal fats are not recommended for owners of oily skin.

  1. Banana lemon. Mash half a banana, add 2 teaspoons of moisturizer and 5 drops each of olive oil and lemon juice.
  2. Yolk. Mix a teaspoon of chamomile extract, olive oil, whipped yolk.
  3. Carrot. Dissolve a tablespoon of grated carrots with a few drops of olive oil.
  4. Apple curd. To 2 teaspoons of cottage cheese, add a teaspoon of apple juice and camphor oil, mix with half the yolk.

Apply the masks for 15-20 minutes, cover your face with a tissue and rest. Then rinse with warm water and rub your face with an ice cube. If you include the procedure in your skin care in winter, apply a protective cream after washing off the mask. The skin of the face can tell a lot about its mistress, therefore, in order to maintain attractiveness, try to lead a healthy lifestyle, do not get carried away with sweet and fatty foods, breathe fresh air more often and do not forget to take care of your face.

First you need to determine what type of facial skin belongs to. Only then can you begin to choose the means to care for her.

There are three main types of facial skin:

dry- creates a feeling of tightness, characterized by narrowed pores and frequent appearance of various peeling;

oily- has enlarged pores, often shines with shine and is distinguished by the presence of constant inflammatory reactions (in the form of acne or acne);

normal skin- does not peel off, does not shrink, does not have a greasy sheen.

It is very rare to find any of the skin types in its pure form, often a variety of skin problems are added to all of the above characteristic features, which provoke the following classification by facial skin types:

  • sensitive skin that reacts to any external factor with the appearance of irritation or redness;
  • aging skin characterized by the presence of wrinkles and flabbiness;
  • with the constant presence of acne or acne;
  • rosacea skin characterized by visible capillary networks.

After determining the type of skin, it is necessary to try in all possible ways to eliminate this or that problem. To do this, you should follow a certain number of rules for caring for your face at home.
