- The procedure ends with the “rescue” of the patient. Doctors say that a little more - and his death could have occurred. The alcoholic is taught that this will happen every time he does not restrain himself and decides to drink alcohol.
- The effect is achieved by a combination of two factors: the action of the drug and suggestion, fear of death in the patient.
Why are reviews of drug coding so different? Why doesn't it work for everyone?
If the mechanism of action of disulfiram is based on blocking certain enzymes in the liver, which are the same in all people, then it should work in any patient suffering from alcoholism.
Contrary to this, reviews of drug coding for alcohol addiction vary widely. There are people who quit drinking immediately and forever. There are those who went to the tavern directly from the doctor's office, and did not experience any symptoms after an impressive dose of alcohol, except for a slight headache.

Does coding help you get rid of alcohol addiction completely?
In medicine, there is such a thing as etiotropic treatment- one that is directed directly at the cause of the disease (as opposed to treatment symptomatic aimed at eliminating manifestations, and pathogenetic, aimed at pathological processes in the body that accompany the disease). It is the most effective, and in any field of medicine they strive for it. Coding for alcoholism is quite effective, but not etiotropic.
