Step 5. Unscrew the pillow and stuff it tightly with filler using, for example, a Chinese stick. Finally, cover the hole with a blind stitch.

Step 2. Now we need to cut out two parts of the pillow - front and back.

Step 3. Now you need to prepare the side of the pillow.

• Its length should be equal to the perimeter of the letter + 2 cm for allowances. You determine the width of the sidewall yourself, for example, it can be 4 cm, then, taking into account the 2 cm allowance for the seams, the width of the workpiece will be 6 cm.

But since you will most likely not be able to cut a whole strip of fabric, you will need to cut several strips of the same width and stitch them, so that in the end you get one tape of the desired length.

Step 4. Sew the sidewall to the first letter. To do this, we fold them facing each other and begin to grind along the entire perimeter of the workpiece.

• For convenience, the side strip can be attached with pins.

Let's start from the very beginning:

1. To do this, take a plain fabric and fold it in half. The length and width of the pillowcase in the final version should be 60 by 60 cm. Everything else goes as a seam allowance. It turns out that the width of the piece of fabric will be 62 cm, and the length is 64 cm.
2. Sew the sides of the fabric. Leave a hole for the filler on one side. We turn the napert out onto the front side. We iron it well. We fill the pillow with filler. The amount of filler depends on how dense you want your pillow to be. It is not recommended to make tall models for small children.
3. Now we carefully sew up the hole.
4. Let's start with the pillowcase.
5. We will sew it with a flap for ease of removal. First, hem the edges. Ironing out. Then we fold the piece of fabric with the wrong side out, so that we get an even square 60 cm by 60 cm, and another 22 cm piece on the flap should lie on top of one of the sides.
6. We sew the sides of the pillowcase, taking into account that 1.5 cm is an allowance for the seams, and 2 cm is for the pillow to easily fit into the pillowcase.
7. We turn the pillowcase on the front side, insert the pillow, fill the valve. Everything! We got a 60-60 children's pillow.

Important! Before you start sewing with your own hands, we recommend that you wash the fabric. Since the material used for sewing the pillows is natural, it may shrink.

Pillow with heart

Here is another diagram of a DIY pillow. We take:

• velor fabric;
• felt;
• scissors;
• ruler;
• synthetic fluff;
• hot melt glue;
• acrylic paint;
• thread and needle.

Instructions:

1. Take the soft velor pink fabric. We cut out a cut of 1 m by 50 cm.Fold the cut in half and sew the sides together from the wrong side. We leave one side free.
2. Let's start decorating. To do this, cut out a rabbit's face, a heart or any other figure from felt. We have this heart. Draw strokes along the edge of the heart with acrylic paint, they imitate a seam.
3. When our heart is dry, we glue it to the pillowcase using hot glue. If you do not have hot melt glue, you can use Moment Classic glue or threads.
4. We fill the pillow with filler. Sew the remaining edge neatly.

Patch flower pillow

Almost all of us have pieces of various fabrics at home. It can be old clothes, curtains, etc. All of these things can be put to good use. For example, sew baby pillows with your own hands. You will definitely not find these in the store.

Today we will tell you from shreds.

For her we need:

• 5 different scraps of fabric;
• yellow cloth;
• synthetic winterizer;
• buttons.

To make petals:

1. Cut out 6 squares from the scraps. We fold them into triangles with the wrong side up. Sew on one side. Then we turn it out onto the front side, fill it with padding polyester and sew it up. We sew all the resulting petals together - so that we get an inflorescence.
2. We make the middle. We take a yellow fabric and cut out a circle with a diameter of 60 cm.
3. We sew stitches along the edge of the fabric with thread, and then tighten. We fill with padding polyester and sew up.
4. We insert the middle into the inflorescence and sew together.
5. Next, we take scraps of fabric, preferably green, and cut out leaves 35 by 14 cm from them. Cut out the same leaves from the foam rubber. Now we sew the leaves from the rags on one side, then put the foam rubber inside and sew on the other side. We do the same for the rest of the leaves. Sew the leaves along the middle with one line.
6. From the same fabric we cut out two circles with a diameter of 24 cm. Sew them on the seamy side, leaving a hole, turn them out, insert the foam rubber inside. We sew it up to the end.
7. Sew the leaves to the flower. Sew a round base from below.

You can also decorate our flower pillow by sewing red buttons along the yellow center.

Doll pillow

And another view is a do-it-yourself nursery. This will be an original heating pad. For her you will need:

• a ball of thread;
• synthetic winterizer;
• light fabric, children's tights are also suitable;
• weave flesh or pink, you can take a sleeve from a blouse;
• a piece of thick fabric;
• a piece of soft tissue;
• cherry pits (they need to be boiled in advance, with the addition of vinegar, and then calcined in the oven);
• threads;
• needles;
• scissors.

Let's get started:

1. We sew a hot-water bottle. The body of our doll should be 24 cm high, 28 cm wide, 33 cm diagonal.Head circumference 22 cm.
2. We cut out a cover from a dense fabric, which we will fill with bones.
3. Sew the edges from the inside out, leaving a hole. We turn it over to the front side and fill it with cherry pits. We sew up.
4. We make a jumpsuit for a doll from soft fabric. But we sew it a little more so that you can easily insert a cover with cherry pits there.
