Passage of game prince of persia two thrones promenade. Game prince of persia two thrones

A. The Beginning

We go forward and roll through the hole in the door. Here to the left and straight, then turn around at the burning stone. We climb onto the wooden boxes on the right and jump onto the stone in front. After that, we jump onto the stone, turn left at the wall and jump onto the wooden ledge in front. Turn left and run along the wall to the next wooden ledge. Turn right and run up the wall to grab the ledge, move to the left along the ledge and further around the corner. We jump down and move forward to the stairs.

Go down the stairs, go forward and right by the wall. We jump on the pole in front and rise. We go around the column and jump on the pole in front. Climb the next pole and jump back to the pole from behind. Turn left and jump onto the wooden platform. From there, turn right and climb onto the raised platform, then run to the railing on the right to climb it (automatically). We jump to the pole in the center of the room. There, turn left and jump onto the ledge. We move to the right and jump off. Turn around, run along the wall to the ledge. Jump onto the ledge from above, then slide left to the open part. Climb up and jump down to the next room.

B. The Ramparts

There is a fountain in this room, drink water to restore your vitality and save the game. Water can be drunk to restore strength from any source, but only near fountains can you save. We turn left and move forward to the corner. Here you can use the Landscape Camera (flashing icon in the lower left corner of the screen). The camera can zoom (zoom in) not only for the terrain, but also for the characters with whom you have to deal.

We go to the right and climb the stairs to the next room. Once again to the right, then through the door to activate the video clip. Here the first enemy is waiting for you - the Guard, as well as the Speed Kill system. To use it, move inconspicuously behind the back of the enemy until the screen begins to distort. When this happens, we start the process. To carry out Speed Kill, press the corresponding button when the screen flashes and the dagger flashes at the same time, otherwise the Speed Kill will stop and the Prince will have a very hard time. The first series of Speed Kill is training, so you have time to practice and the intervals are quite long. The Guardian usually requires two intervals in Speed Kill. Launch Speed Kill. Use Landscape Camera if you like. We run to the right, jump over the railing and jump onto the pole in front.

We slide down the pole, sneak behind the Guard and use the Speed Kill. After you deal with him, run to the right to the edge of the platform. We run along the left wall to the ledge opposite. Then to the right to the end of the ledge, climb up and jump to the next ledge. We run to the right to the end of this ledge and jump to the next ledge. Again to the right to the end of the ledge, then we jump through the gap to the right. Quickly go down the stairs, move behind the back of the Guard and launch a Speed Kill.

It mentions the fighting technique - Free-Form Fighting, very similar to the system of the previous version of Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.

We run to the column and go down the stairs, then to the right and forward to the alley. Here you have the opportunity to practice Free-Form Fighting against the Guard. Jump attacks are effective, especially Aerial Landing Slice. After the fight, we run to the right to the ledge. Further along the left wall and jump to the ledge on the right. Climb onto the ledge and jump to the next ledge. We run to the left, turn the corner and climb up. We turn left and climb the stairs.

In the next room we find the ledge at the top, climb up and go forward to activate the video clip. After that, turn left and run to the edge of the platform. Then along the left wall to the curtain, along which you go down. We turn and rush forward to our first main Free-Form Fighting with three Guards. Jump and Wall Rebound attacks are effective. If the resistance is high, you can use the Grab Throw combo to throw opponents into an abyss or fire.

After the fight, we run forward and turn left into the next room. Climb up the stairs opposite and jump to another staircase behind. We turn on the stairs and climb up. We run up the wall to the right and jump at maximum speed at the top point in order to reach the ledge on the left. Climb the ledge, jump to the right, run up to the stairs and climb up. Here you will find a new alternate camera view - First Person Camera. Use it and return to normal mode again. Then we run from the platform forward, turn left and forward to the door, climb up the ledge to the left of the door. Climb another ledge and run to the edge of the platform. Here you will meet new opponents - Archers. They are weaker than the Guards, but they are quite annoying with their arrows. Luckily, their attacks can be blocked, which requires only one Speed Kill interval. Run along the wall to the left to the ledge opposite, then wait until the screen begins to distort. Then we launch Speed Kill (you can destroy them from any place while the screen is distorted).

From here we run forward and go down the stairs. If you want, you can sneak up on the Guard ahead and destroy him with Speed Kill. If not, run along the wall to the right to the ledge. Climb onto the ledge, run forward to the end and jump to the left to another ledge. Again, move to the end of the ledge, wait until the screen begins to distort, and turn on Speed Kill. The Archer is in front, we approach him from the right and destroy him with the Speed Kill. Run to the end of the next corridor and climb the stairs at the end of it. Then a little more forward and with the last jump you find yourself in a new zone.

C. The Harbor District

There is a fountain here, use it to recuperate. Walk forward to the edge of the wooden platform, run along the left wall and jump to the next platform. We move to the ledge on the left and reach it. We move to the right along the ledge and around the corner, then we climb to the next platform. Further along the beam to the right to the next ledge, then to the right along the ledge to the next beam. Jump onto the beam opposite to reach the next platform. Then we roll through the hole in front and fall into the next room.

Turn left and you will see a rack with a weapon, it may be useful to you. Hack the rack with the dagger, then turn right and climb onto the beam. We jump forward from the beam to get to other beams located one above the other. We jump from the first beam to the second. This can scare birds away, which will raise suspicion from opponents below. Wait for the Archer to turn away and use Speed Kill to kill the Guard. Then we move to the Archer and check the effectiveness of Speed Kill on him. We run up the wall in front and in a jump we get to the beam. Jump to the next beam above, then move to the left to the next platform.

There is another beam ahead, jump onto it. We move to the beam, pointing to the center, we make a long jump down. Two Guards will try to attack, deal with them as you see fit.

After that, we turn right and jump onto the beam in front. Move along the beam to the right, then jump to the next beam. There is an opening to your left, jump into it and climb to the next platform. We jump forward to the next beam, and make a long jump into the opening. Scroll through the opening and finish off the Guard downstairs with a Speed Kill. We move forward into the next room.

If necessary, use the Landscape Camera, then move to the edge of the platform on the right, straight towards the birds. Wait for the guards to take their starting positions, then jump onto the beam in front. From this position, use Speed Kill to deal with the guards, then move to the Archer and send him after the others. Climb up the stairs next to the Archer and get to the next platform.

We move along the beam and jump to the railing opposite, but do not climb over them immediately. Wait for the Archer to walk to the left, and climb over as soon as he starts to move to the right. Now you can experience Speed Kill on it. We ride through the hole ahead.

D. The Streets of Babylon

There is another fountain here. Run up the wall to his right to reach the next platform. You can use the Landscape Camera, then run along the wall to the right and jump onto the beam. Wait until the Guard is below you and the screen does not distort, then use Speed Kill. Move to the Archer and deal with him in the same way. We run along the wall to the left, climb onto the beam and then jump to the next building.

Turn left and follow the stairs until you reach a dead end. You can use the Landscape Camera, then run up the wall to the left or right and jump. Another jump, when you touch the opposite wall, continue in this fashion to climb to the ledge. Climb onto the ledge on the right, then jump to the next ledge. We move to the right to the next platform, then we climb up to one more.

Climb onto the beam on the right and head towards the central beam. We jump forward to the next beam, then another one. We move to the right and jump forward to the next beam, then to the left and another jump to another beam. One more jump forward and you are on the next platform.

Climb over the railing opposite and move parallel to the ledge opposite (above the black wall). Jump down to the ledge below. Use the Landscape Camera and wait for the Guard on the left to turn away, then quickly take out the other Guard with Speed Kill. Now you can return to the first Guard. We run forward along the alley until we reach the beam. We move along it, jump to the ledge opposite, then move to the left along the ledge and climb onto another beam. Jump to the beam parallel to this one, another jump from there to the next platform.

Continue along the aisle to the edge of the platform. Run along the wall to the right and jump when you find yourself parallel to the center beam to climb onto it. Jump to the wall to the right or left, and from it to the beam above you. We move forward and jump to the next zone.

E. The Palace Balcony

There is a fountain here. Climb over the railing on the left and jump to the platform below. Move to the edge, then run along the wall to the left, when you are level with the railing, jump across to the right side. Climb onto the railing. Use the Landscape Camera, then run up the wall nearby and climb up the ledge above. We move along the ledge to the left to the beam and wait until the Archer in the distance begins to move. Then use Speed Kill against the Guard downstairs. Move forward and turn right, but stay behind the brown lattice wall. With the Landscape Camera, observe the two Archers. Wait until the Guard in the foreground turns right, then quickly go up and turn left into the next alcove (alcove). Move forward and climb the furniture, then run up the wall and jump onto the beam. We move to the right along the beam to its edge, then wait until the screen begins to distort. Apply Speed Kill on one Archer and then on the other.

Not far to the left of where the last Archer was is a stone statue. Climb up it, run up the wall and stick the dagger into the plate. Jump up and stick the dagger into the next plate, then jump to the balcony opposite.

At the edge of the balcony, run along the left wall and jump when you get to the shutter to teleport to the next platform. There is a press plate on the left, stand on it and open the door in front. We run through the door before it closes.

In the next room, climb onto the table on the right and move to the edge of the platform. Use the Landscape Camera, then run along the right wall and stick your dagger into the plate when you get to it. Jump down to the beam below, then another jump, and stick the dagger into the other plate. From this position, kill the Guard downstairs with a Speed Kill.

There is a pillar on the right, jump on it and climb up it. From here, jump onto the beam on the right and make another jump to the next platform. Use the Landscape Camera, then run up the wall ahead and climb onto the ledge. We move along the ledge to the right to the beam and move to the end of the beam to the opening. Jump into the opening, turn around in it and take out the Archer below with Speed Kill.

Then head to the railing, climb over them and jump onto the beam opposite. Wait for the screen to distort, then take out the Guard downstairs with Speed Kill. Walk forward to the door on the right, barricaded with furniture. Shred the furniture with your dagger and wait for the alarmed Guard to come back. Use the Landscape Camera, if necessary, go through the door and run up the wall in front to the railing. However, do not jump over them. Instead, we shift to the right until we pass the Guard. Then jump over the railing and show him how Speed Kill works.

Turn to the left wall and run up to it, stick the dagger into the plate at the top. Jump up and stick the dagger into the next plate, then run along the wall to the left and stick the dagger into the next plate. Another dash to the left and you are on the next platform.

Turn left and move towards the table in front. Climb up and move to the edge. Use the Landscape Camera, then run along the wall and test the Speed Kill on the Archer in front by pressing its activation button at the moment of touching the shutter.

We run up the wall to the left and jump onto the beam. From this beam we jump to the next beam in front, we move to its end to the left to the ledge. Climb up the ledge and over the railing at the top to the next platform. Use the Landscape Camera, climb onto the table in front and stick the dagger into the plate. We run along the wall to the right and jump to the beam on the right. Go ahead along the beam and turn when we reach the smaller beam on the left. From this beam, jump into the opening in front.

Deal with the retreating Guard quickly with Speed Kill, then return and destroy the Archer.

If the Guard is already too far away from you, turn around in the opening and deal with the Archer first with Speed Kill. Then run forward along the corridor to the table in front. We run up the wall to the left and jump to the beam at the top. Move to the perpendicular beam and move to the right to the end of the beam. We jump and stick the dagger into the plate, then we run along the wall to the left and stick the dagger into the next plate. Now (this is the most difficult thing) you need to jump from the plate to the beam opposite and try to maintain balance, otherwise the Guard will notice you. After that, jump into the opening, use the Landscape Camera, turn around and apply a Speed Kill.

Run forward to the next room. We run up the wall to the left and stick the dagger into the plate. We run along the wall to the right to the ledge, then we move to the right to the end of the ledge. We climb on it and go to the next level. Head towards the end of the hall, then run up the wall and jump off the pressure plate to open the door and get to the beam. Climb quickly along the opened path and get into the next zone.

About the game

You will fight to save your people. You will fight to get revenge. But the most important battle you face is the battle for your own soul.

And this is true: in this part you will control two characters: the Prince himself and his alter-ego - a terrible Dark Prince, who was spawned by the Sands of Time, trying to seize control over the life and fate of our hero .. Deadly traps, unexpected encounters and finds.

The plot of the game

The prince changed his fate, killed the guardian of Time Dahaku and returned to Babylon together with Empress Kailina (the plot is based on the second, "happier" ending of Prince of Persia: Warrior Within), but Babylon is captured by the enemy army. Later, the ship of the Prince and Kailina is hit by the enemy. Kailina is kidnapped, and the Prince goes in search of her. Finding out what the matter is, the Prince learns that his old enemy, the traitor vizier, is operating in the city. Since earlier, on the Island of Time (in the second part of the game), the Prince canceled the very creation of the Sands of Time, he also canceled all the events shown in the first part of the game, the attack of his father's army on the castle of the Indian Maharaja, the opening and closing of the Hourglass, and murder of the vizier. However, Maharaja went to the Isle of Time, although he did not find the Sands there (as was the case in the previous version of the story, before the Prince changed it), but books about the Sands and the same Dagger of Time were found.

Having studied all this knowledge and having obtained the Dagger, the vizier found out that he could get eternal life, for which he needed the Empress of Time (Kaileena), so he killed Maharaja and went to Babylon to meet with the Prince.

Features of the game

  • Play as two different characters- each of which has different skills and owns an individual weapon.
  • Use your fighting style- At your disposal are many unique melee techniques to destroy the myriad hordes of the enemy. You can also grab and strangle the enemy from afar using the Daggertail, or hit him with one single blow, sneaking up and attacking from behind.
  • Battles in Babylon- Fight enemies on dangerous rooftops, wade through twisted, winding streets, and ambush dark passages.
  • Dramatic plot- full of unexpected turns, will keep you on your toes until the very end. Show what you can do in this adventure full of adrenaline, passion and shocking discoveries.
  • Manipulate Time- With power over the Sands of Time, you will be able to fight enemies, slowing down and rewinding time. In addition, you will receive new opportunities granted by the Sands of Time.
  • Unrivaled gameplay- The game is a unique blend of genres and masterfully combines fast-paced duels and original puzzles.

Gameplay

The gameplay of the game is closer to the first part of the game - the role of acrobatics is important, which is facilitated by several new acrobatic techniques of the Prince. Nevertheless, the combat system almost completely corresponds to that of the second part of the game: two weapons - the main one in the right hand and a temporary one in the left - similar combos. The exceptions are the lack of a strangulation technique and an inclined jump down from the wall. Also, for the first time, the main weapon of the Prince is not a sword, but a dagger (at the beginning of the game, an ordinary dagger, then the Dagger of Time), which, however, does not affect his combat skills in any way. The secondary weapon now has its own damage scale, unlike the second part, where the weapon simply changed color depending on the damage. Now the second weapon has become slower to break, but now it is damaged even from hitting the wall.

Also, the Prince periodically turns into the Dark Prince, whose health is constantly rapidly decreasing, until death, but who restores all health at once, picking up sand - the water does not restore the forces of the Dark Prince, on the contrary, once in the water, he turns back into the Light Prince. However, all transformations take place at certain plot points. The Dark Prince possesses a unique second weapon - a long chain - that cannot be changed, and with which he performs quick kill more effectively. Since the chain is a very powerful weapon, the gameplay of the game changes significantly: the attack distance increases, the number of enemies in these story stages increases, combo attacks change, and their power increases.

Now, if you throw a weapon at an enemy (for example, a sword), then it will stick into him, and your enemy will need time to take it out of himself, this can be used as a tactical maneuver.

Also new are dynamic chariot rides, where colliding with an obstacle is deadly.

As in Sands of Time, there are fountains that increase the Prince's health. But after the Prince drinks from him, he must go through an obstacle course, after which his health increases. The Dagger of Time can also be improved by gaining new abilities after the Prince plunges the Dagger into the Sand Gate, unlike the first game, where sandstorms were needed for this and the second, where the improvement took place after passing through temporary portals.

With the improvement of the Dagger of Time and an increase in the health bar, tattoos in the form of dragons gradually appear on the hands - gold and black, respectively. When the Prince's health is close to critical, the tattoos change color from gold to red.

During the passage, the player can receive sand credits, with which you can open in-game content - videos, art images, screensavers.

Speed Kill

The principal innovation is the “Speed Kill” system of quick kill, which is a kind of implementation of the QTE system typical for many console games.

The essence of the system is that the Prince can stealthily get close to the enemy and quietly kill him with several strokes of the dagger. To do this, the player must press the attack button with the dagger at a certain moment, at which time slows down, the screen turns gray, and the dagger flashes blue. If the player makes an attack in time, then the murder will take place quietly and the surrounding opponents will not notice anything, and the Prince will be able to repeat the quick kill. If the player is late or hurries to attack, the enemy will intercept the prince's hand and push him away, and the surrounding enemies will prepare for battle.

The QTE system is used not only for quick kill, but also for complex combo attacks required to destroy bosses. During the fight with the boss, ordinary attacks only distract him and prepare him for the moment with the QTE, where the player must also attack with a dagger in time. If successful, the boss will lose a significant part of his health, otherwise the player will have to wait again for the right moment to attack.

Other versions of the game

Prince of Persia: Rival Swords- a version of the game for the Wii console and PSP mobile console.

The game for Wii does not differ from the main version, except for the control, which is specialized for the Wii Remote controller.

The PSP version has a Versus network mode - two players can compete in locations and chariot races against the clock via Wi-Fi.

In addition, in the US version, after the closure of each sandy gate, the Prince is transferred to additional locations that are absent in the regular version:

  • Three treasures in which you must destroy all enemies. After them, the Prince receives 100, 150 and 200 sand credits, respectively.
  • Three fountains of the Ethereal world that grant the Prince new powers of sand - Eye of the Storm, Winds of Sand and Sandstorm.
  • Three temples in which the Prince destroys along the altar, this weakens the Vizier and allows him to be killed in the end. In the temples, the hero recalls the legends told to him by his father about the Emperor of the time Zervan, who was deprived of power by earthly rulers and whose name the Vizier appropriated to himself after the transformation. After destroying each altar, the prince will receive a new sandbox in the Dagger of Time.

For mobile phones

In 2005, a mobile version of the game was released. It was developed by Gameloft and published by Ubisoft Entertainment.

The game is a typical 2D platformer. The player must control a character who can jump, run along walls, climb ropes and fight with double swords (when playing as the Prince) and a chain with a dagger (for the Dark Prince). Similar to the main version, there is a system of quick kill (Speed Kill), which allows you to quietly sneak up on the enemy and destroy him immediately, pressing the attack button in time. In addition, at some moments there is also a QTE system, when it is necessary to press buttons, the images of which appear on the screen at random in order to avoid death.

The game has two modes - "Adventure" and "Arena". The first is a story passage of seven levels, between which there are chariot rides. "Arena" is the destruction of opponents on a limited map.

The power of the sands of time is absent, except for some moments when the Prince gets the opportunity to stop time in order to overcome dangerous moments.

The plot of the game roughly corresponds to the plot of the original version, but significantly reduced and partially changed. The prince returns to Babylon, but his kingdom is attacked by the troops of the treacherous Vizier, who, among other things, took Babylonian women prisoner. The prince must save them and reclaim the throne. However, the Sand of Time partially captured the Prince and gave birth to an evil part of the hero's personality - the Dark Prince, which manifests itself as a voice in the head, but also periodically the protagonist turns into his dark double, but retains his mind. But after defeating the Vizier, the evil half of the Babylonian prince tries to seize control of their common body, but in the end the hero wins and is freed from the curse.

  1. The prince is again voiced by Yuri Lowenthal, the actor who played him in the first part.
  2. The appearance of the heroes has changed quite noticeably: a large number of scars on the Prince's body; light skin and facial features of the Headlight; Kailina has a different appearance; a much older vizier.
  3. The animation of battles in the game is the same as in the second part, but there is no dismemberment of enemies, so the age rating is again 12+.
  4. These may all be coincidences, but killing the half-boss El Gigante in Resident Evil 4 is a lot like killing the enemy Beast in Warrior Within. Curiously, the transformation of the vizier in the cutscene in The Two Thrones is very similar to the mutation of the Headman boss in Resident Evil 4.
  5. The action takes place even on the epic Tower of Babel, which, interestingly, has a peak reminiscent of the story of the Tower of Babel in the Old Testament, which people built and built, hoping to reach heaven.
  6. The Dagger of Time looks a little different than in the first part of the game, where it is short and not so detailed. In the third part, the dagger lengthened and became sharper.
  7. Despite the fact that the Prince uses the powers of the Sand with the help of the Dagger, and not the Medallion (as in the second part), there are still only six Sand compartments and only one type.
  8. Finding the dagger at the beginning of the game, the Prince laments: "Why, whenever I get into trouble, I don't have a good sword in my hands?"
  9. Perhaps this is an accident, but the appearance of the Dark Prince in many ways resembles the Indian god Shiva.
  10. In this part, we will now be able to ride a chariot in two levels.
  11. In the Russian version, dubbed "Prince of Persia: Two Thrones", the Dark Prince is voiced by Alexander Gruzdev. His velvety-dark voice is the best fit for this character.
  12. There are several secret weapons in the left hand, they are obtained very simply - by entering special codes on the pause screen. You can find out these codes by going through the game at different difficulty levels. However, despite the popular misconception, if the codes are found in a different way, they can be entered immediately, and it does not matter whether the chosen difficulty level or the percentage of the game passed. It also doesn't matter at all if the Prince has any second weapon in his hands when the code is entered. These types of weapons are quite comic in appearance, but effective.

As in the previous parts, Two Thrones has hidden swords. They are also funny and do not fit into the atmosphere of the game, but if you completed the game, then they will only delight you. As far as I remember, after you took your father's sword, the secondary weapon is more to take can't, so use them up to this point.

Life upgrades

First Upgrade
This is after the first transformation of the Prince, upon exiting the dungeon. To your right are traps and preservation, and to your left is an opening with curtains. We pass through the curtains to the first upgrade.

Second Upgrade
Before you fight Klompa. There is a lever on the wall that opens two doors: the one on the left - to the fountain and Klompe, and the farthest one - the door with an upgrade.

Third Upgrade
You ended up in a round room where the Vizier was, there was still water on the floor and you turned the lever to make it go away. When you swing on the uneven bars, you will see a large flag in front of the hole in the wall. This is the path to upgrade.

Fourth Upgrade
You defeated a giant in the gardens, which you rode like a chariot. We climbed the ladder and saw the conservation. And to the right of it there is an opening from which the grating has been removed. There is also a way to upgrade.

Fifth Upgrade
This is when Farah sits in the elevator, and you pick it up, running along the balconies. On one of them, if you look at the elevator shaft, there are three slots for a dagger. We climb up along them, press the button and turn on the slowdown. Go down to the 1st cell and jump onto the balcony to the opened door with an upgrade.

Sixth Upgrade
The second time you go outside the Tower of Babel and pick up stones. We ran to a wooden platform, and a peephole began to glow below. We changed the view of the camera: there you can see another opening in the wall below, which leads to the upgrade.

Interesting facts and secrets

1. Message from the developers
As soon as we open the gates leading to the chariot race, we should go down. We stand facing the gate and move towards the northeast pillar, where opponents will respawn. We climb on it about halfway and make a jump in the south direction - a message from the developers should sound.

2. Manipulate them!
We load the game and wait for the Lionhead Studios splash screen (sprinkling balls) to appear - we can control the logo using the arrows on the keyboard. When you've played enough, just press "Esc" to exit the "manipulation" mode.

3. Finding the dagger at the beginning of the game, the Prince laments: "Why, whenever I get into trouble, I don't have a good sword in my hands?" from the first part, where at the end of the game, waking up, the Prince discovers that his weapon is missing, as well as to the very first original "Prince of Persia", where the game begins without a sword. In Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow and The Flame on the Isle of the Damned, after a fight with the Immortal on a swaying bridge, the Prince drops his sword into the abyss. Prince of Persia 3D also starts with an unarmed Prince.

4. In the palace Farah exclaims at the sight of the elevator: "They say the same miracle was installed in Azad." This is a reference to Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, where the Prince and Pharah, while in Azad, took the elevator to the main tower of the palace. Pharah cannot remember this as the Prince turned back time. However, Farah adds that she would like to visit Azad someday, which leads to the idea that she has unconscious memories.

5. The game was originally conceived in a completely different way. Among the differences from the final version: The Dark Prince had a completely different look and the player was given the choice to play for the dark (its basis was stealth passage) or for the light (frontal attacks and spectacular techniques) prince, and the dark prince was not just a voice in his head, but an independent one a calculating and ruthless person. There were also two endings: one for the dark, the other for the light prince.

Q: I was told that there is an ending in the game where you fight with the black prince is it true?
A: This is a popular rumor so to speak (as with the game "Well, wait a minute!"

Q: And how to get a bonus weapon. I have a keyboard shortcut, but I didn't understand how to enter it! And tried on w, a, s, d and on arrows! But I don’t understand!
A: You need to click on the arrows. For the codes to work, you must throw out the second weapon and complete the game at least once.

Q: Why are sand loans needed?
A: With their help you can open gallery images.

Q: Please tell me if all gamepads are supported by the game?
A: The game supports most models of gamepads with two analog sticks. Other gamepad models may not be fully compatible with the game.

Q: I can't understand how to heal the Dark Prince because there are no fountains and his life is quietly flowing away?
A: The secret of his life lies in the sands, collect the sands, they are the medicine for the Dark Prince.

Prince of Persia The Two Thrones is an Action / adventure game developed by Ubisoft Montreal. It was published at the end of 2005. The first part of the game seemed to be great - there were only minor flaws. The second received scandalous notoriety and the "Mature" rating, thanks to the ability to dismember their enemies and swear words, but it was sold much more intensively. Therefore, from the third part, the developers decided to make a middle ground, carefully studying the opinions of fans. What happened with this - read further in the review.

The plot of Prince of Persia The Two Thrones

The guys from Ubisoft Montreal tried to please everyone when creating Prince of Persia Two Thrones. The first part seemed to many to be somewhat sluggish, and the second, although made much richer, but, in the opinion of many, it completely lost the atmosphere of the East. Therefore, this time our hero, Prince of Persia, was sent to Babylon after the events of the second part. Now the timekeeper Dahak is no longer a threat, and our protagonist returns home with peace of mind in the warm company of Empress Kailina. But Babylon during our absence from a prosperous city turned into a dilapidated one - it was besieged by a whole army of enemies.

On the way, the ship on which the prince and Kailina were traveling also came under enemy attack. The girl was kidnapped, therefore, we urgently need to go in search of her. As we advanced, our protagonist learned that our old enemy vizier had a hand in all this chaos in the city (yes, I remember that we killed him in the first part, but do not forget that after that we rewound time!). The Vizier studied the books about the Sands of Time, in addition, he managed to find the same Dagger of Time. He wants to get eternal life, but for this he needs Kailina, the prince's companion.

But the meeting with the latter turned out to be a mistake for the vizier. Our protagonist managed to capture the Dagger of Time, with the help of which he was going to kill an immortal enemy. Here, an old acquaintance from the first part, Princess Fara, the daughter of Maharaja, who was killed by the vizier, will be an ally. True, not everything is so simple. The prince was infected by the Sands of Time, which periodically turn him into a sand monster, becomes aggressive, cynical and selfish - the Dark Prince ... The whole story, as in most games, is better to learn directly during the game Prince of Persia Two Thrones!

Graphics and atmosphere Prince of Persia The Two Thrones

Briefly about the graphics that the game Prince of Persia Two Thrones shows us. In general, it is pretty good, but some of the shortcomings are too striking. So, the portrayal of the characters has become worse than it was in the previous two parts. The prince has become some kind of bug-eyed, the animation of movements in the scripted videos is very far from ideal. As well as the drawing of all allies and opponents. But the game Prince of Persia The Two Thrones can boast of a gorgeous portrayal of locations. There will be everything that was lacking in the second part - and enough light (there were many complaints about the gloom of the world in the second part!), And fabulous Asian palaces, pleasantly surprising with the thoroughness of processing and chic appearance, and deserted streets and lanes, and gardens ... Everything is as it should be. As you progress through, you can repeatedly gaze at all this beauty. It's really worth it.

What I liked the most was the amazing work with location lighting and paints. Everything here is really perfect. The world is seen as we imagined it, reading "A Thousand and One Nights". The magnificent atmosphere is nicely complemented this time by the amazingly made sound design - the hard rock from the Godsmack group, which looks so ridiculous in this game, was replaced by melodic oriental tunes. Now it is really easy to believe that we are in Asia!

Gameplay Prince of Persia The Two Thrones

In Prince of Persia Two Thrones, the gameplay is largely the same as before. Indeed, why turn a game that has already become a classic upside down? So the developers got off with only minor changes. So, there were fun chariot races. But the fun quickly disappears after the player realizes how difficult the controls are. It requires very high accuracy, otherwise you will end up in a cuvette. Puzzles, which have also become trademark for all "Princes", are no exception in Prince of Persia Two Thrones. There are enough of them here, and all of them are quite interesting.

The game Prince of Persia Two Thrones is the golden mean between the first and second part and in terms of balance between battles with opponents and acrobatic techniques. Here, fights with traps have been somewhat curtailed, but the number of tricks that will have to be performed to advance through the plot of the game has been increased. This had a pretty good impact on the game, it became more enjoyable. In addition, a lot of new tricks have appeared, the execution of which will be the envy of the best Hollywood stuntmen - the prince dashingly runs around the camps, deftly clings with his hands in flight to lamps and other protruding interior items. All this looks very spectacular and dynamic.

The number of enemies, as usual, is quite impressive, but the key phrase here is “as usual”. Because the vast majority of enemies migrated to Prince of Persia Two Thrones from the previous parts. Apparently, the developers have a little imagination for new opponents. But there are also new enemies, some of which are quite original - dogs attacking and taking sand from us, or archers. There are others. Bosses have become even more colorful. And it became even more difficult to kill them, in Prince of Persia The Two Thrones, like nowhere else, it is important to be able to use the architecture of the building in which the battle takes place. But even skilled players simply won't. Perhaps the developers went too far with the complexity of their brainchild.

The innovations seem to be quite useful, take at least the quick kill system - you can do this either by choosing a special point for attack, or by quietly sneaking up behind. But it won't be easy here either - if you are noticed, they will be thrown aside and you will have to fight in the usual way.

But in general, the combat system in Prince of Persia Two Thrones repeats it from the second part of the prince. You will be able to carry out many different combinations with the main weapon and the secondary one. At the same time, when our hero turns into the Dark Prince, despite his more modest skills, his strength becomes by no means less. In addition to the sword, available by default, he can only boast of a chain, but it is more than enough - after spinning, you can destroy several opponents at once. And strangling in the quick kill mode is still easier than quickly stabbing with a sword. The only thing really bad about playing as the Dark Prince is the fact that his health is constantly decreasing. It can only be corrected by killing enemies or finding jugs - the sand flying out from them acts like a first aid kit. To return to human form, you will have to find a jug of water.

I would also like to note the return of the rating to the game, which allows younger gamers to play Prince of Persia Two Thrones. Yes, the blood remained. But they removed the ability to dismember bodies and abusive expressions. That reduces the impact of the game on the unformed psyche of the younger generation, and this is important. And in general, in general, I liked the process of the game. The game Prince of Persia The Two Thrones is of high quality and well thought out.

Conclusion

The game Prince of Persia Two Thrones is a very good product. Perhaps the best in the second trilogy. A happy ending to the game perfectly closes this very trilogy, but more parts followed it ... And there is no doubt - if the authors keep this quality - they will follow and sell well again and again. Legendary game, masterpiece game. There is nothing to add here.

Start

Readfile ("baner.txt"); ?>

Port area

Streets of Babylon

Palace balcony

Castle

There is a fountain here. To the right of it is a corridor full of hidden spikes, run fast so they don't catch you. Follow the corridor until you reach the first spinning blade trap. We run right after the blade goes down. The next trap is a flipping panel full of thorns on one side. We run at it as soon as it turns its normal side, and we run up the wall in front. We move over the railing to the next platform.

Move to the edge of the platform on the right. You will have to run along the wall to the right at exactly the right moment to avoid being hit by the blade. Since the path lies only through the upper half of the trap, wait until the blades free this part of the space, then run with all your might and jump to the next platform parallel to you.

Walk forward to the edge on the right. You will have to run along the wall on the right at exactly the right moment to avoid the trap in the wall. Run along the wall and jump onto the shutter at the end to reach the next platform.

In the next corridor, wait until the trap in the wall ahead begins to descend. Then we quickly run forward over the spikes of the trap, run up and climb to the next platform. The next trap is twin spinning blades. Wait until both blades begin to drop and then quickly run forward. At the end of the hallway is a handle that opens the ceiling above you. Turn around and look to the left, there is a switch above you. We run up the wall and stick the dagger into the plate to pull out the block in front of you. Quickly jump onto the block and run up the wall to the left to reach the ledge. Climb the ledge and jump to climb into the next area.

Throne room

There is a fountain here. Walk to the right of it and climb onto the bird statue. Use the Landscape Camera, then run up the wall and stick the dagger into the plate. We run along the wall to the right to the next platform, then along the wall to the shutter and launch a Speed Kill against the Archer in front. Run along the left wall to the next platform.

Use the Landscape Camera, then run up the wall ahead to climb to the next platform. We run along the left wall and jump from the shutter we get to the ledge. Climb onto the ledge, then jump and stick the dagger into the plate. We jump to the next ledge, then we move to the right to the beam. We go to the center of the beam and jump into the opening. Fly down, turn around and wait until the screen begins to distort to remove another Archer with Speed Kill. From here, turn left and run up the wall to the ledge. We go to the right, around the corner, then we jump up and stick the dagger into the plate. Run to the right and jump when you are parallel to the ledge on the pillar, then move left around the corner and jump onto the pole. We slide down to the middle of the pole and wait.

Watch the Archer above. When he turns, climb up on the pole and jump onto the railing of his platform, then quickly run up to him and launch a Speed Kill. Then we turn right, climb over the railing and jump onto the pole. We turn to the opening in front and jump to it, then slide down and turn.

Here you can try to use double Speed Kill against two Guards for the first time. This is possible if two opponents are next to each other. Double Speed Kill requires four visual cues to match, but sends both of them to the next world at once. It looks like this is only possible from above. Just launch Speed Kill and attack from that point.

Then turn around and move along the corridor to activate the video clip.

You now have the dagger of time eating, and more importantly, your first time power:

memory. You can rewind time and correct your mistakes. Not bad, isn't it? Each return empties one of your sandboxes. To replenish the sand supply, you need to destroy sand enemies or hack containers in the hope that they may contain sand.

Walk forward, turn right and throw down the barricades. Continue down the hallway and notice the cracks below, so hurry up! At the end, we run up the wall on the left to get to the pressure plate and slip into the opened door.

Cracks appear in the floor here as well, be careful as the area ahead will fall through before you reach it. If you're wrong, remember: you can now rewind time to correct your mistakes. We continue to move to the end of the corridor, then run up the wall and stick the dagger into the plate at the top. Then we run to the left and stick the dagger into the plate, then left again and get to the next platform. Use the Landscape Camera, run along the right wall to the curtain and slide down. We quickly run through the door before the floor collapses and we find ourselves in the next zone.

Trap corridor

There is a fountain here. From here we go to the right and we pass along the corridor until we get to two panels-traps. Wait until the first panel rotates normally, cross it and then cross the second panel as well. Turn left and find a new type of trap - poles with rotating blades. There are two of them here. Stand on the left and wait for the first one on the right to pass before walking past both.

The next trap is a combination of two panels and a pole with rotating blades. Stand to the side, wait for the first panel to lower, make sure that the pole is not in the way, and go further past all the traps.

The next trap ahead is a pole with blades, then a panel, then another pole with blades. Wait until the panel is lowered, make sure that the pole is not in the way, and go on.

In the corner on the right is the pressure plate, run up the wall and press it. Then we turn and run through the door while it is open.

Do not step on the floor in the middle or on the right, it will fall through. Go around the circle on the left, get to the pole in the far right corner and jump on it. Climb the pole, jump to the next pole behind, then climb up and jump to the next pole. Climb this pole, turn left and jump to the ledge opposite. Move to the right before the ledge collapses, turn the corner and jump to the next ledge. Walk all the way to the end and then jump onto the pole opposite. Then we jump from the pole before it collapses, and we stick the dagger into the plate in front. From here, run to the right along the wall to the next plate and stick your dagger into it, then again into the third plate. Then we jump to the pole opposite this plate and another jump to the next pole. Finally, we jump to the left and land on the beam, and from it we jump to the next platform.

Use the Landscape Camera, then jump onto the curtain and slide down. We jump almost at the very bottom to avoid death and move along the opening. We slide in the opening and get into the next zone.

Ruined palace

There is a fountain here. From here we go left and further along the corridor to the next traps - a pole with blades between two panels with spikes. We just move to the side, wait until the panel turns to its normal side, and run.

We turn left and approach the following traps - three panels in a row. Wait until the first panel turns to its normal side, and quickly run through them all.

The next traps are three poles with blades. We move to the side, wait for the first pole to start moving away from you, and quickly run past all three. We go forward along the corridor, being careful of the cracks in the floor, do not stop, a room will appear soon. There is a platform on the right behind the hole in it, we jump to it. Next, go forward to the wall at the end of the platform, then turn left and run along the right wall to the next platform.

One Guard is waiting for you here. Deal with him with Free-Form Fighting and move forward to the stone block. Jump forward through the pit to reach the ledge and move left along the ledge to the next platform. Two more Guards will want to try Free-Form Fighting. Destroy them. Along the corridor to the right, there are 10 units of sand credits in a box, which can be used to buy artifacts in the Extra Features section of the Main Menu of the game.

Go back and go straight to the ledge ahead. We climb the ledge to get to the next platform. Deal with the Guard with Free-Form Fighting. Then we go to the small platform. We go to the edge, and in a jump we stick a dagger into the plate. Then we jump up and stick the dagger into the next plate and make another jump to the ledge. Climb up on it and move left to get to the next platform. Turn left and jump to the next platform, then run along the right wall and jump onto the shutter to get to the next ledge. Move along the ledge to the left and get into the next zone.

Royal Chambers

There is a fountain here. Go forward, stand on the pressure plate and run through the door. Continue down the stairs until the video starts.

Sewerage

There is a fountain here. We go forward to the edge of the platform and jump onto the crossbar. From it to the next, then to one more, and we get to the next platform. Turn left, move to the edge of the platform and jump forward to the next rung. We move along it to the left around the corner, then another one. We turn and fall to the next platform.

We rise along the stairs to the edge of the platform and jump forward onto the crossbar. We climb on it, then we jump to the ledge in front. Move to the left, turn around the corner, then again around the corner and fall into the opening, slide down and find yourself on the floor.

Now you will face a new enemy - Reptus, only Free-Form Fighting can help against him. These creatures are not fast, but very strong and well defended. However, they are too sensitive to light, so they become vulnerable when they hit it. The easiest way to get rid of them is to pull them out into the light and finish them off quickly with the Aerial Landing Slice. If there is no light nearby, try simple hit combinations (combos). Reptus is also the first enemy to add sand to you if it dies. After you've dealt with Reptus, head down the hallway, run up the wall at the end and stick your dagger into the plate in front. From here we jump down to the ledge and go down into the opening to the bottom. Jump onto the bar in front and fall down, where there are two more bars, and land on the floor. We drink water to recuperate, turn around and go to the site in front.

Use the Landscape Camera, then turn left, run up the wall and stick the dagger into the plate. From here we jump to another plate and run along the wall to the right to the ledge. We move to the right and turn around the corner, then climb up and turn to the right one more corner. Head over to the pole in the corner of the room and jump onto it. It will begin to move downward.

We slide down the pole, the door is open. Forward through the door, further to the beam, we jump into the opening on the right and land on the floor. From here, move forward until you come to the edge of the pit. Use the Landscape Camera, then turn left and jump onto the ledge of the wall ahead. Climb it, move forward, then jump and climb one more ledge higher. Then we shift to the right and climb to the next ledge, we shift to the right and jump onto the pole in the center of the room.

We jump from the pole to the crossbar at the opposite end, and from it to the plate on the moving wall, when it is fully retracted. Wait for the wall to fully enter again, then run along the wall to the left to the next platform.

Use the Landscape Camera, then turn left and run along the right wall to the opening. Move down to the floor and then move to the center of the room to see in the video clip what is waiting for you there. ..

... THE DARK PRINCE !!!

The Black Prince has only a few differences from the standard Prince we know and love. First, he is constantly dying. Every second takes away from him a particle of his life force, and if the force runs out, he dies. The only way to replenish vitality is to use sand. Fortunately, almost every box contains it, and there is never a shortage of fresh opponents that the Black Prince will have to deal with ...

The Black Prince surpasses his enemies in battle thanks to the chain (activated as a second weapon). You will have to start with tough fights, as the swarming crowds of Reptus will want to finish with you. After finishing them all, go to the center of the room to the stone decorated with a lion's face. Move the stone (with your chain) to open the door behind you, quickly enter it.

Climb onto the beam in front and jump to the next beam in front, then another jump forward on the pole. You go down on it to the floor, where there is a group of Reptus, who fell apart in anticipation of you. Destroy them all and move forward from the room. We turn right and jump onto the crossbar using the chain. Another jump, move to the side and replenish the supply of sand from the pots on this platform. On levels with the Black Prince, you often have to make long jumps - they all involve the use of a chain.

From here we go to the beam, jump forward and get to the opening. We slide down and fall to the bottom, where a group of Reptus is still waiting for you. After you are done with them, move the stone and go through the opened door. We run up the wooden wall in front to the ledge at the top. We move to the left and around the corner, then climb up and jump onto the next platform. Refuel with sand from nearby pots and turn around.

We run along the right wall to the stairs on the other side and rise along it to the next platform. We go forward and to the left, climb onto the platform and stick the dagger into the plate in front. After the wall moves, jump to the crossbar, then another one. We climb the crossbar, wait for the trap panel in front to turn its normal side, then quickly jump from the panel to the wall and further from wall to wall to climb onto the platform above. Walk forward and grab the sand, then follow the corridor to the edge of the platform. We go to the beam, jump to the opening in front and move down.

You have just touched the pool of Water of Life. She turned the Prince into the Black Prince. They did not expect? Well, it's too late to change something, only your will to move forward can save you.

So, go ahead and jump onto the ledge on the right. From here we jump to the ledge on the left, then we jump and climb the ledge at the top. Move to the left and level with the moving wall. Jump and stick your dagger into the plate on the wall when it drops to your level, then run to the left when it rises to reach the next platform. We go forward to the next room with four Reptus, and we finish them all. To the left of the third arch is a plate, stick a dagger into it to open the door in front. We run through the door before it closes.
