As I promised earlier, I bring to your attention a new lesson from the rubric, where I will share with you information about how I am now doing beautiful boxes for disks.

Manufacturing DIY disc boxes does not pose any particular problem. The most important thing is high-quality consumables and tools, and you will learn the rest of the tricks and subtleties from my next video. Enjoy your viewing.

How to make a box for a DVD disc with your own hands

As you may have noticed the box is not finished yet, it remains only to glue the special fasteners for the disc, the so-called CD-spider... I don’t have them yet, but from day to day I have to receive a parcel from the online store mtk-design.com, where I ordered a package of Cd-spiders.

P.S. Do not forget that you can rate the lesson by clicking on the star next to the title, and also save this page to your social network so that it does not get lost over time.

That's all for me. Until next time friends.

my master class came out - a box for a disk. I will gladly duplicate it here for my beloved PCs. Today we will make a bright box for a disk, perhaps it will be a photo from a children's photo session or from your wedding - the principle of making such boxes is the same. Here are some options.

And we will make it so bright.

So let's get started. We need:
- Pastel paper, cardstock or watercolor base paper
- Scrap paper
- Decorations (I have buttons, Glitz acrylic stone and paper tape)
- Glue.
- I use a line, but if you don't have a typewriter, you can do without it.

1. Making the base. To do this, cut out a rectangle 14 * 28.5 /

2. Then we crease: measure 14 cm on each side, in the middle we get a fold of 0.5 cm. Draw the fold line with scissors. The base is ready.

3. Separately from the base, we make the upper decorative part: we cut out the substrate 13.5 * 13.5cm, on it we place scrap paper 13 * 13cm (or we compose from the leftovers, like mine, leaving a torn edge)

4. Now we make out the inner part. Cut out the substrate 13.5 * 13.5, make a substrate for the photo 7.5 * 10 (the size of the substrate is 8.5 * 11cm)

5. Cut out a pocket for a disk 8 * 13.5cm, cut out a semicircle in the middle and fix it to the base using double-sided tape.

6. We sew all the elements of the interior design to the base.

7.On the reverse side, we bring out all the threads and fix them with glue in a stretch.

8. We pass the holes from punctures with a needle with the handle of the scissors to smooth them. So the 2 parts will be tightly glued to each other and will not bump.

9. Decorate the backdrop and glue 2 parts to the base of our "box".

10.

11. We admire the result and participate in our tasks)))

A wedding is a very magical and romantic celebration in the life of every young couple. For most, a wedding is considered as a holiday and an event that happens once and for a lifetime. Therefore, you understand that you need to prepare, organize and conduct it at the highest level so that it will be remembered for a lifetime. There is a lot of preparation and organization for a wedding celebration, so you need to think over everything in advance so that you do not have to run in a hurry later. It is best to ask for help from specialists who are engaged in the holidays, their preparation, design and full implementation. But, as far as the wedding is concerned, there are much more nuances and all sorts of little things that are best taken into their own hands and, for example, the bride herself can do it. We are talking about wedding invitations, mini-gifts for guests, they are also called so-called bonbonnieres, seating cards, guest lists, etc. These are very important little things, so it's better to do them yourself. At any wedding, there must be a video photographer who captures and films the most notable moments that occur at your celebration. And after years, together you will be able to watch your wedding and remember what a happy and romantic day it was. The video is stored on disk, which must be carefully stored so as not to spoil the shooting. The bride can take on this part and make a very beautiful box for a handmade wedding disc. So, to make it, we need to take:
Binding cardboard, two sheets 15 * 15 cm;
Two sheets of A4 watercolor paper;
Two sheets of paper for scrapbooking by Evgeniya Kurdibanovskaya from the collection "Love and Doves", sheets of 30 * 30 cm;
Metal corners for gold 4 pcs;
Border hole punch;
Hollow carved pink heart;
Picture with swans;
Happy Wedding Stamp, pink ink;
Roses made of polymer clay of white and peach flowers;
Pink poppy;
Pink-peach roses and forget-me-nots;
Pink double lace;
White ribbon with fabric roses;
Cutting down paper butterflies;
Leaflets;
Half beads;
Satin ribbon light pink with polka dots;
Double-sided tape, glue gun, pencil, ruler, PVA glue, scissors.

So, first we need to make the very base of the box. Apply binding cardboard to a sheet of watercolor paper.

We retreat around the perimeter 1.5 cm. We do the same with the second sheet of cardboard paper. Cut off the excess and get 18 * 18 cm squares from watercolor. Now we press the cardboard with one hand and with the end of the scissors we pass along the perimeter of one and the second squares. This is what we make the lines of the bends.

At the corners, we retreat on both sides by 3 cm, then we connect the corner lines and make cuts.

We bend all sides. We glue these blanks onto the binding cardboard with strips of scotch tape.

The sides that we bend are glued with PVA glue. We got these squares. Now they need to be glued together. We cut off two strips 3 * 15 cm. We divide them by 1.3 * 0.4 * 1.3 cm and we also crease.

We glue one strip from above, the second from below, thus we connect the squares, we get, as it were, a little book.

Cut out 4 squares of 15 * 15 cm from white-pink scrap paper. Cut out two rectangles 7.5 * 15 cm from another paper. At the top we glue paper lace with PVA.

Glue the rectangle pockets to the squares along the edges.

Cut off the front and glue a strip of tape for tying. We glue squares with pockets inside the scrap. We decorate one of the front squares: we glue the picture and the inscription and sew them with a typewriter.

Now we glue both front parts and sew on both sides of the box from the outside.

A CD-box is a very necessary thing, especially if you decide to burn and donate a disc with your photographs or a movie. The disc box will keep it intact and become a beautiful packaging cover.

And more ideas for storing disks, because there are never too many disks!

What is needed for work

For work we need: 1 mm thick cardboard, kraft paper, design paper, tape or elastic band, decorative tape, jewelry, a brush and PVA glue

Step-by-step cover making workshop

We cut out 2 blanks from millimeter cardboard, measuring 14 by 14 cm.

First, we need to glue them with paper to close the ends. You can use kraft paper or thin scrap paper. We cut out a rectangle from it, its minimum size is 17 by 32 cm - we left allowances on all sides of 1.5 cm and a gap in the middle of 1 cm to form a "binding".

To evenly glue cardboard covers to craft paper, draw 3 lines: 2 lines in the middle with a step of 1 cm and 1 line at the bottom, at a distance of 2 cm from the edge. Now you need to glue, apply PVA glue on the cardboard itself, in a continuous thin layer.

Cut off the corners, leaving about 1.5mm from each corner.

We bend and glue the allowances, first horizontally. We use the same PVA glue, coat it well, bend it gently so that everything is even,

in the middle, we go through several times with the index finger.

Thus, everything will be beautifully pasted over with us.

Hello everybody!

My new master class is about CD boxing. Perhaps you already know how to make them and click objects such as nuts)) And perhaps you will learn something new for yourself.

So, we need:

Cardboard 1mm

Paper to glue the base (kraft paper)

Scrap paper

Ribbon or elastic if you choose to close with an elastic

Decorative tape

Decorations

PVA glue and brush

We cut out 2 blanks from millimeter cardboard, measuring 14 by 14 cm.

First, we need to glue them with paper to close the ends. You can use kraft paper or thin scrap paper. We cut out a rectangle from it, its minimum size is 17 by 32 cm - we left allowances on all sides of 1.5 cm and a gap in the middle of 1 cm to form a "binding".

In order to evenly glue the cardboard covers to the craft paper, I drew 3 lines: 2 lines in the middle with a step of 1 cm and 1 line at the bottom, at a distance of 2 cm from the edge. Now I need to glue it, I put PVA glue on the cardboard itself, in a continuous thin layer.

I cut the corners, leaving about 1.5mm from each corner.

I bend and glue the allowances, first horizontally. I use all the same PVA glue, I coat it well, gently bend it so that everything is even,

In the middle I walk several times with my index finger.

From the corners it looks like this and it's good - this way everything will be beautifully pasted over.

Or like this:

In this case, cut off the "excess" with scissors - we do not need extra thickness at all.

Cut and bent - we get such beauty. We press everything from the corners well so that everything is glued tightly.

Now we make out the middle, or as I call it "binding", although nothing is intertwined there)))) While I cut out the strips, I put the base under the press, and generally put it under the press when it is free. "strips of scrap paper 14 cm long, arbitrary width - 3 centimeters. Do not cut off the adhesive tape yet.

I glue the strip inside first, along the edges of the groove I go through the crease (knitting needle))), I ride my finger back and forth several times, everything should be well glued.

Now I cut off a 15cm piece of decorative tape, coat it with glue and glue it in the same way, fold the excess to the outside.

I glue a strip from the outside,

I press it a little so that a groove is formed,

I close and finally glue it.

If there is a typewriter, it would be good to sew the "binding" with two lines, so the paper will "fit" a little and will not collect in ugly folds when opening and closing. You need to flash it right away, otherwise, after drying, everything will become "wooden" and you will not be able to flash it.

Pull the threads between the layers, cut them off and glue them there.

Remained interior and exterior design. Before doing this, I glue and sew the strings. I use narrow satin ribbons, with repeated tying they do not lose their appearance as much as wide ones. You can, of course, take crumpled, and linen, and imported satin ribbons - which ones you like best and as far as the customer's budget allows.

For the interior design, I took WP paper, a very beautiful and delicate sheet OUR SONG. I cut out 2 squares 14 by 14 cm, from one corner I made a slot using a composter for a photo(for a business card or small photo) and pasted them. The glue was applied again to the cardboard, almost reaching the edge, because then I stitched it on a typewriter. If you do not have such an opportunity, then you need to glue all the edges well. I sew first along the middle, then the other 3 sides, tk. the 14cm side does not fit into the opening of the machine. I pull the threads to the other side and glue them there.
