6. A safe in the northeast corner leads to a loss of wealth. In the southeast corner - leads to unnecessary expense. In the southwest corner - leads to an increase in the state for some time, the costs will also be less. But all the unexpected money will be spent in a bad way or will be stolen (If the safe front is in the southeast direction). If the safe is in the northwest corner, there will be a huge expense. Money does not remain in the safe. Therefore, the safe must be located in the northern zone or room of the main building, near the southern wall, with an opening to the north.
7. The safe must be placed on the base. Money should not be kept in a safe or almirah without legs. The safe must not stand on uneven surface... It should not be tilted in any direction. The safe must be stable.
8. In the safe, if possible, it is not necessary to store clothes, dishes, etc. If this is what is to be stored, then it should be in the lower half. It shouldn't be overloaded with money more than a buffet. The safe should be in the middle or top of the cabinet.
9. Gold, silver and other valuables should be kept in the western or southern part of the safe.

The governing demigod of the northern direction is Kuvera and Budh (Mercury) is the planet of this demigod, the worship of the safe should be performed in the morning or evening on Wednesday in the second half of the lunar month. The Margashirsh. worship every Thursday and Friday leads to increased wealth.
14. There should be no cobwebs anywhere in the safe or in the vault - it leads to poverty.
15. The safe must not be contained under any beam.
11. Storage room or barn
1. The storage room should be in the northwest corner of the main building. If grain and other products are stored here, then there will always be plenty of food.
2. There will be no harm in having a mezzanine floor in the west and south direction of the pantry.
3. The storage room should not have a door in the southwest direction. Positioning the door in any other direction, if necessary, is also good. The height of the barn should not be higher than the height of other rooms (the northwest corner should not be higher). The barn should have windows to the east and west. The barn door must be double-winged.
4. The color of the tiles and walls of the barn should preferably be white, blue or yellow.
5. Almirahs or shelves should be on the west or south sides of the barn.
6. The image of Lakshmi-Narayana should be on the east wall of the barn.
8. There should always be some kind of jug or vessel filled with water in the northeast corner of the barn. It should be ensured that they are never empty.
9. Practical and profitable to store vegetable oil, ghee, butter, kerosene, gas bottle etc. in the southeast corner of the barn. If this is a hotel building, then milk, cottage cheese, cream, butter, etc. should be kept in the eastern part of the southeast corner.
10. No one should sleep in a barn at night, because sleep sounds cannot be emitted there. Various thoughts disturb the mind. But there is no harm in resting there during the day. There is nothing wrong with keeping a dining table in a pantry room.
11. Do not store empty containers in the barn. If the containers are empty, they should be filled with some kind of grain or other material. You should not take food from the barn at dusk. Care must be taken to ensure that there are no cobwebs in the barn.
12. Waste warehouse / closet
1. The closet should be in the southwest corner open area around the main building. If this is not possible, then it should be at least in the southwest corner of the main building. It must have a minimum length and width.
2. The closet should contain heavy iron material, knives, saws, etc.
3. The closet should not have a door in the south-east, north-east or south direction. If possible, the door should have one porch and should be upholstered with tin. The height of the door must be less than the height of other doors in the building. If possible, there should be no windows in this room. A westbound window may be allowed.
4. The color of the closet walls should be dark gray or blue. As far as possible, it should not be yellow or white.
5. Anything related to water should not be stored in a closet. There should be no dampness on the walls.
6. If there are cracks in the walls or uneven floors, then the whole thing should be repaired immediately.
7. This room is not for living, sleeping or any other rent-based purpose. The owner of the building must be concerned about the person living here.
8. People living in rooms on the southwest side are always quarrelsome, demonic and troublesome. The benefits are less than the problems they create.
9. This room should be as heavy as possible. There is no harm in storing goods on either side.
10. We must not enter this room at noon, evening or night. If someone enters there, they may feel uncomfortable due to heavy breathing, heaviness in the chest, etc.
11. Important documents, cash or jewelry should not be kept in this room, because nothing leaves the room quickly. This ignores our desires.
12. Images of God, incense should not be in this room. If a sick person is in this room, then his death is next to him. No auspicious work should be done in this room. This room should not have a foundation.
13. We must not chat or gossip, laugh out loud or speak angrily while in the doorway of this room. There is a danger of diminishing happiness in life. This conclusion was made after a long and careful study of a large number of buildings. Knowledge must be taken seriously.
14. The southwest corner of the closet should never be free.
15. When building this room in an open area, a fence can be applied around the main building in the southwest corner to protect the west or south walls. There is no harm if this room is built by extending these walls upwards.
16. Evil forces operate extensively in the southwest corner of the site. Therefore, it is necessary to close this corner. Only the southwest corner should be closed this way. No other corners should be covered.
13. Corners of the open area around the building.
1. The northeast corner of the open space around the building is the seat of Ish (the main God). If we close this corner or build any structure with the fence walls in this corner, then the person will face a lot of dangers in life. Of the five basic elements, water is found here. Water is essential for life. The sun's invisible ultraviolet rays are absorbed by water and earth. They provide incalculable benefits to humans. We don't get these benefits if we close this corner.
2. The southeast corner of the open area around the building should never be covered. There should be no structure or barn built using the east and south walls of the southeast corner. If any construction is to be done at all, then at least 2-3 feet of clear space should be left from the walls. Fence walls should not be used during construction, but new walls should be raised. This room should be free of water or anything related to water. fire and water are two opposite elements that have opposite properties. Here can be built lockei rooms, housing for employees, boiler rooms, and services related to electricity and heating can also be located. They can be beneficial. If there is any construction near the fence in the southeast corner, or if fence walls are used in this construction, it acts as a roof and covers the corner. Agnideva (fire) burns everything up. This means that the sun's infrared rays are not available for the southeast corner. Children in the home go astray and become involved in bad company. The family can have untimely deaths, late marriages of daughters and a large number of problems for women.
3. There shall be no construction on the site that uses the walls of the northwest corner. This side is ruled by Vayudeva (Wind). Air is necessary for a person to breathe. If the cover of the northwest corner is closed, there will be a loss of wealth. It has been observed that a large number of people have gone bankrupt because of this. But construction is possible in the northwest corner at least 2-3 feet from the walls. Cattle lose, pantry, etc. beneficial in this location.
14. Central part of Vastu
1. The length and width of the building should be divided into 3 parts. The square or rectangular part in the middle means chowk. This is known as Brahma.
2. This is the seat of the creator of the world, Lord Brahma. No construction work should be carried out in this place. This place must be left open. A roof should be built one to two feet above the main building roof for ventilation. If there is no roof over Bramhasthan, then a person experiences a lot of difficulties. Ventilation provides air and light to the main building. It is more advantageous if the roof over Brahma is pyramidal. At the very least, there should be a slope of this roof in the east and north.
3. If, due to the high cost of land, this place cannot be open, then at least toilets, closet, kitchen, bedrooms, etc. should not be built in this location.
4. Should not be in the center of a building or basement area.
5. In the center of the site there should be no cesspool, wells, water storage tanks, wells, etc. If the above rule is not observed, then the house and the owner of the house will be destroyed.
6. Walls in the middle of the chowk should be painted white only. Black, blue or red should be avoided. We find the same central square (area) in a large number of old buildings.
15. Veranda
1. It is beneficial to have a veranda on the east or north side of the main building. Because of the veranda, evil forces do not enter the house immediately. Boots, etc. can be left here before we enter the main building. It maintains holiness and cleanliness in the home.
2. The height of the veranda should be no less than that of other rooms. The veranda should not be on the south or west side of the main building. The corners of the veranda should not be cut obliquely or round.
3. A seating area on the veranda should be arranged on the south or west side of the veranda. If there is a swing on the veranda, then it should work in an east-west direction.
4. If the veranda has a roof, then its height should be less than the height of the roof of the main building. If the roof is tilted eastward or northward, then this is favorable. If possible, the roof should not be made of sheet metal.
5. Flower pots on the veranda must have small size... Climbing flower pots should not be on the veranda.
6. It is auspicious to have images of Lord Ganesha or Lord Shankar on the veranda.
7. Visitors' footwear should be in the northwest direction.
8. No stone, mortar or millstone should be on the veranda. The veranda must have maximum number windows and free ventilation.
16. Place of stairs on Vastu
1. The main staircase of the building should be in the south, west or southwest corner. It should never be in the northeast corner. The staircase in the northeast corner leads to a loss of wealth - the business is at a standstill. The building owner could go bankrupt. A staircase in any other corner reduces waste.
2. The staircase should rise from east to west or from north to south.
3. If the staircase has doors, then the height largest door should be 9 "to 1" shorter in length than in width.
4. There should not be a common staircase for movement to the upper floors and to the basement. High stairs must have a roof. The number of steps should not be 10, 20, 30, etc. - with zero at the end. The number of steps must be odd.
5. The staircase should not be located in the central square (area) of the building. The main staircase does not have to start or end in a storage, closet, kitchen, or reception area. The safe should not be under the stairs.
6. The stairs should be light in color. The staircase must not surround the building. This leads to a lot of disasters. The harmony of the family is violated.
7. If the staircase is in the south, west or southwest corner, then it is beneficial. Round staircases should be avoided.
8. If land is scarce, a staircase in the southeast or northwest corners may be tolerated, but this may cause minor injury to children to some extent.
9. If the staircase is in the southeast or southwest, then it should rise from east to west or from north to south.
10. In many places the staircase is in poor condition. It needs to be repaired immediately. Otherwise, mental tension increases due to collisions. The staircase or the beginning of the staircase must not be round.
11. No one should live in a room with a staircase in the southwest corner of the basement. It is known that those who live in such rooms suffer from undiagnosed diseases, high pressure blood, anemia. Medicines also fail to correct them.
17. Top floor
1. The second floor should only be built in the southwest area, leaving the east and north areas open. It doesn't matter if the building has two or three floors. Balconies must be on the east or north sides.
2. Only bedrooms, study rooms, etc. should be located on the second floor. old people. Pantries or closets should not be on the ground floor.
3. Rooms on the ground floor should have doors and windows facing east and north. It is very beneficial if the large window faces northwest.
4. The height of the rooms on the second floor should not be more than the height of the rooms on the first floor. No construction should be in the northeast corner of the first floor. The balance is perfect.
5. It is beneficial if the roof of the room on the second floor is slightly tilted to the east or north. The color of the walls of the rooms on the second floor should be blue or green. The floor on the second floor should slope slightly to the east or north.
6. The drain for rainwater should be in the east, north or northeast corner of the ground floor.
7. Rooms on the second floor should never have balconies in the south or southwest. There is no harm if the balcony is built from the southwest corner if it is unavoidable in these directions. Balcony corners should not be rounded or chamfered. Black should not be used for balcony painting.
18. Basement
1. Since the sun's rays do not fall into the basement, the benefit from it is minimal. Therefore, the basement is not an ideal place for any business.
2. If 1/4 of the basement is raised above ground level or if the sun's rays penetrate into the basement from 7 am to 10 am, then 75% of the basement can be used for business purposes.
3. In some Western countries, and especially in Japan, tilt mirrors are installed in such a way that the sun's rays penetrate into the basement. (This method is used in Japan for underground factories to save energy.) It can help to get ahead in the case.
4. You can't live in the basement, no matter how much it costs. Dark incidents occur and progress stops.
5. The basement should not be facing south or west in the building. If at all it is located in this way, then it can be used as a warehouse for products.
6. Basement located in the east and north directions - good... It is beneficial if the basement is located in the northeast corner. If the well or reservoir with water is located in the northeast corner of the northeast corner of the basement, then this is very favorable. If the basement is in a north direction, in which heavy things are stored in a south-west direction, and if we sit facing north, then this is very good and useful for business. If there is a lot of ventilation in the northwest direction in the northwest side of the basement, then this is good for business. If the basement is in the northwest corner, then business is booming, but there is no cohesion at all. Serious illnesses, petty theft are possible.
7. The basement in the southwest corner is not easy to sell. The trader there never thrives. Continuous losses are expected. The evil forces remain in this corner. The basement in the southwest is not even suitable for a warehouse. If there are reservoirs with water or wells, then this is the most dangerous and destructive. The head of the family is likely to die accidental death... It also leads to anemia and possibly suicide. In the southeast basement of hotels, bars, etc. some business is possible. Agnideva will destroy all other business.
8. The whole building should not have a basement. But if it does exist, then only the eastern or northern parts should be used. Non-movable heavy items can be stored in the south and west.
9. The basement should not be less than 9 feet high.
10. The basement must be white. Blue color should not be used because it symbolizes spirituality.
11. In ancient times, the western part of the basement was used for Samadhi (withdrawal of the spirit from the body). The face was heading east. The entire basement is filled with the thoughts of a person in Samadhi. No one should dare to enter places like Samadhi. If at all someone has to enter there, then it is possible only from 10 am to 3 pm. The basement must be open for at least 15 minutes before entering. First of all, you need to enter it very slowly. The basement depth must be set. You can enter there if you take someone with an escort and two flashlights.
12. If there is water in the basement that is closed and not used for a long time, then no one should enter the water. Infinite, invisible negative forces can enter this water and it can be dangerous.
13. A large number of ancient temples have a basement. The basement located directly below the main deities has a specific meaning. A common person should never go there. Because of the prayers of a large number of devotees and their religious belief the basement is filled with magnetic waves. If a religious person enters there, then he should not stay there for more than 3 minutes.
14. A basement on the east or north side with a counter on the ground floor can also be beneficial.
19. Water tower
1. The water tower should be west or southwest of the building.
2. A water tower facing southwest must be at least 2 feet above the tallest structure. It must not touch the slabs. The sun's rays first fall on this reservoir and are absorbed by the water. Thanks to the water, this angle becomes difficult and beneficial. But under no condition should the water tower in the southwest corner leak. The dampness in the southwest corner is not good, therefore, the tank is placed on a pedestal higher than the level of the building's structures.
3. The northeast corner belongs to the water element, however a very large water tower should not be positioned in this direction because the northeast corner should not be heavy under any circumstances.
4. The water tower should not be located in the southeast corner. In this case, loss of wealth and accidents are possible. The effect of placing the tower in a southerly direction has an average result. The reservoir must be at least 2 feet above roof level and must not leak.
5. It is very beneficial if the tank is built on the west side, indented from the southwest side. This is the direction of Varuna, and he controls the rains. The reservoir in the western direction can be built at the level of the structures. No 2 feet gap required.
6. As far as possible, the water tower should not face northwest. If it is located there, then it should be small size and elevation, and at least 2 feet from the northwest corner. The water in this tank is not being used properly and runs out unexpectedly.
7. The water tower should not be in the middle (Bramhasthan). If there is a load on Brahma, then life becomes unbearable. This does not give the pleasant feeling of being in the house. With the water tower removed from Bramhasthan, an amazing change is felt in 21 days.
8. As far as possible, the water tower should not be made of plastic. If it is still a plastic tank, then it should be blue or black. This leads to the absorption of sunlight. As far as possible, there should be separate tanks for drinking and cooking, and for toilets, bathrooms, etc.
20. Free area around the building
1. A large free area in the east and north direction is more useful than in the west and south.
2. In the east or northeast corner there should be a Tulsi Vrindavan (the structure in which the sacred Tulasi tree (basil) is grown. The height of this structure should not be higher than the level of the basement).
3. Swimming pool, wells, fountains, underground water reservoirs, wells, etc. should be in the east or north.
4. Garden, flower beds, lawns, etc. should be in the east or north. The height of the flower beds should not be higher than 3 feet. To the east or north, a small waterfall 3-4 feet from the northeast or northwest corner may be built.
5. The swing should be in the east or north and it should swing east or west.
6. There is no harm if pets and bird nests are in the northwest corner.
7. Benches in the area located in the east and north should be located in a west or south direction so that the person sits facing east or north.
21. Carport and parking
1. The canopy or portico should be in the east or north. If it is in the west, then the southwest corner should be free and if it is in the south direction, then it should be in the southeast corner. This is bearable.
2. The roof of the shed facing east or north should be 2 feet lower in height than the main building. A canopy with a northerly sloping roof is very good.
3. When the vehicle is parked under a canopy, its front should not face south, but should face east or north. If the front is facing west or northwest, the car will not remain under the canopy for long. This means there will be a lot of travel.
4. The parking space near any building should not be in the northeast or southwest corner. The best parking lot is, of course, in the northwest direction. If it is in the southeast corner, then minor renovation work... If the parking lot is in the southwest corner, then the car does not leave the garage and is always faulty. The parking lot is successful if it is located at the base of the east or north direction.
5. The best parking gates are located in the east and northwest direction. However, the height of the gate must be less than the height of the main fence gate. The canopy and parking posts should not have arches or triangles. The canopy must not rest on a fence or be an extension of it. It should be built separately near the main building.
6. Suitable color for canopy can be white, yellow or any other light shade color. However, black and gray should be avoided.
7. If the transaction is to be completed, the previous night the vehicle must be facing north. This is auspicious. Administrators and officials should place their vehicles facing east. On the day of the full moon and new moon, no one should cross the city boundaries between 11 and 4 o'clock in the morning and at night. If you are traveling, you should rest during this period. During this time, thanks to the ebb and flow of the moon, the atmosphere is favorable for accidents. Likewise, one should avoid traveling south and southwest on Saturday. The PIT is running this day. 22. Trees around the building
1. Must be avoided big trees on the site surrounding the building and inside the wall along the border of the site. The roots of large trees can damage the foundation of a building and fence. The roots of large trees quickly absorb the subtle power of the sun's rays and the building does not receive these good influences from the rays.
2. If there are trees around the building, then they should not be tall or with dense foliage and should be located in the east or north. The favorable rays of the sun are blocked by them. There is no objection if such trees are in the west and south. However, large trees should not be only in the west or south, they should be in both directions. The heavy weight of the trees upsets the balance of the building.
3. In the east and north, you can have trees with a height of 3-5 feet. There should be no trees of any kind, large, small, useful or useless, in the northeast corner.
4. No thorny bushes or cacti should be on the site, even for decorative purposes, because they all emit negative rays, except for the rose and some medicinal plants like shatavari. This creates unnecessary tension in the home. Cactus or thorny bushes are endowed with demonic and evil powers. If anyone, in general, holds cacti, then for every cactus there should be two basilicas. Basil weakens the evil influence of cacti. But if possible, all thorny plants should be uprooted and thrown away without a doubt. No plants brought from a temple, riverbank, stolen from anywhere, or taken from someone you dislike should be planted on your property. A sapling brought from the nursery must be planted.
5. No climbing plants, except beautiful ones with flowers, should be allowed on the load-bearing walls of the building from the east or north. Climbing plants can only be planted in the garden. There is nothing wrong with keeping an expensive plant in your home. However, it should not be planted outside the home with the support of a tree, etc. Just around the temple or banyan tree in the east. Audumbar (a type of banyan tree) on the south side, Pipal can be planted in the west following all the rules regarding planting of these trees. This tree should not be planted around our residence or place of business.
6. Any tree, large or small, proper or unsuitable, should not be planted in front of the main entrance to a building in any direction.
7. Banana, Papaya, Mango, Pineapple, Lemon, Nilgiri, Ashoka or Jamun, etc. should not be in the east or north of the building - lack of funds and children. Only in the south or west there is no harm in the presence of Ashoka, Almond, Pineapple, Nilgiri, Coconut, Neem, Lemon, etc.
8. There should be no large trees near the load-bearing wall. It is good to have small trees in the middle of the area of the old house. This is because there is a load in the place of Bramha and we are not able to follow the rules of fasting like the old people. Therefore, there should not be any trees in Bramhasthan. There is nothing wrong with the fact that the trees are located in the west and south, outside load-bearing walls our building. At least the shadow of the trees should fall on our building from 9 am to 3 pm.
9. Planting young trees, building a garden, etc. it is profitable to do during the activeness of favorable constellations, Anuradha (Nov 20-3d), Vishakha (Nov 6-20), Revati (Mar 30-Apr 14), Chitra (Oct 9-24), Pushya (Jul 19-Aug 2), Mriga (Jun 7-21) and etc.

12. Despite the presence of an open area around the building, the seedlings should only be planted in a pot of soil.
13. Trees like Berries, Tamarind, Gum Arabic, Bel, Brahmarakshas, etc. should not land in an open area surrounding a building. The shade of these trees should not fall on the building and we should not rest in their shade.
14. Most trees, besides Neem and some other trees, emit carbon dioxide at night, which is harmful to us. Therefore, we should not sleep under trees at night.
15. Plants that give off a white liquid like milk should not be around the building. However, they can be on the border of the site. Cactus Carded Cotton are examples of such plants.
23. Heating the house and entering a new house
1. Whenever a new building is built, the first thing to do is to have the house warming up ceremony and after that we can live in that house.
2. When the sun moves to the north (Capricorn), this is the most the best time to enter new house... This is the Uttarayan period (22 Dec-20 Jun). These are the days of God and the southern movement of the sun is known as Dakshinayan, which is the God of the night. In Uttaryan, when the sun moves from east to west, it comes from the north. Of course, this is the movement of the Earth. The sun is in one place. When the sun moves to the north, its favorable rays are available to a large extent in the east and north directions. In Building Science, the east and north sides are more important, northern position the sun is more beneficial than the southern one.
3. When the sun is in the constellations Uttara, Magha, Pushya, Ashwini, Revati and Swati in the months of Vaishakh, Shravan or Margashirsh, at the right moment this auspicious ceremony should be performed and then the entry into a new house - Grihapravesh will be auspicious.
4. Ganesh poojan, Naoagraha shanti (propitiation of 9 planets) and worship of Vastupratima (Image of the deities patronizing the building) must be performed.

Then, after washing our hands and feet properly and without looking back, we can enter the house.
6. The ceremony of worship is performed again when the building becomes old and requires renovation. This increases the life of the building.
7. Dismantling (demolition) of the old structure should begin after the Kshma Yachna ceremony (a ceremony of pleading forgiveness for the dismantling).
8. After Vastupoojan we must walk around the building at least once. Women should at least once go around the area with jugs of water, holding them on their heads or shoulders. In doing so, they should throw nice-smelling flowers.
9. First of all, a jug or vessel of water should be stored in the northeast corner, wheat and other grain should be stored in the northwest corner, salt in the southeast corner, and a knife, dagger or stone in the southwest corner. After all this has been done, the rest of the rules must be followed.
10. In buildings without a ceremony of worship, no one should sleep alone in the southeast or southwest corners. If we enter a new home without a ceremony of worship, then we face many dangers and calamities. A worship ceremony must be performed if we decide to live in a house that has been closed or unused for a long time.
