Inca bridges

The Incas considered bridges to be such sacred structures that anyone who harmed them was sentenced to death. Perhaps the most unusual and impressive bridges of the Incas were the rope chacas stretched through huge gorges, canyons and rivers.

The ropes from which these bridges were built were woven from fibrous grasses, and the ropes themselves sometimes reached the thickness of a human hand and more than 53 meters in length. The maintenance of the bridge and its repairs by the Incas was carried out by special workers who were completely freed from other occupations. The process of repairing such a suspension bridge was very dangerous and often fatal to the maintenance personnel. To date, only one bridge, built by the Incas, has survived in the world.

It is more than 500 years old, it is called Q "eswachaka and it is thrown across the Apurimac river in the province of Kanas (Peru). The locals to this day, keeping traditions, maintain it in proper condition and regularly use it for crossing, although its modern , concrete brother.

Another bridge in Peru

The stone bridge (in Spanish it sounds like Puente de Piedra) in the capital of Peru, Lima, was built in 1608 by the architect Juan del Corral. The people call this bridge only as Egg because during its construction the masonry was fastened not with ordinary mortar, but with the eggs of seabirds. According to the legend of the Peruvians, it took more than 10,000 eggs. This bridge is still intact and unharmed.

The world-famous 103-story tower in New York City employed 3,400 employees, over 10 million bricks, 730 tons of aluminum and stainless steel, 473 km of electrical wires and 5,663 m3 of limestone. In the building itself there are 3,194,547 electric lamps, more than 80 km of heating pipes and 70 km of water pipes, 1,060 kilometers of telephone cables and refrigeration equipment with a total weight of 7,450 tons. The waste of the tower is also great: about 100 tons of garbage from the building are removed monthly.

The Empire State Building serves as the main lightning rod for all houses and structures in the surrounding area, so it is struck by lightning at least 100 times a year.

The construction of this skyscraper cost $ 41 million, which in the 30s of the last century was a huge amount. The building weighs 365,000 tons and has a volume of 1,048,000 m3. For forty-one years, this building was the tallest structure in the world.

Manure houses

Many houses in rural Nepal are made from a mixture of cow dung, various waste, sand and clay.

Photo of cow dung cakes, which are dried and then used as a building material.

And not so long ago, the Indonesian company EcoFaeBrick began to produce bricks, which include cattle manure, which is abundant in Indonesia. The manufacturer claims that this environmentally friendly material is 20% lighter and 20% stronger than its clay counterpart. In addition, it is cheaper to manufacture.

But for me it remained a mystery whether such a building material exudes a specific aroma at the time of heating in the sun. For the rest, obviously, living in a house ... made of cow poop is a real process of getting closer to nature.

Statue of buddha

In 1588, one of the most famous informal leaders of Japan, warrior, samurai and politician Toyotomi Hideyoshi, faced with riots in the province of Japan under his control, decided to prohibit ordinary people from owning weapons.

A hand-drawn portrait of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, nicknamed the Monkey for his repulsive appearance.

“It is strictly forbidden for people in all provinces to have any swords at their disposal, including short swords, bows, spears, firearms or any other weaponry. Weapon ownership makes tax collection difficult and tends to fuel rebellion, ”he decided. And he ordered his troops to collect their weapons from all the peasants for the purpose of melting down (this selection of weapons from the population will later be called hunting for swords). From the resulting metal, staples and nails were made, which then, over 3 years, more than 50,000 Japanese artisans used to build a huge wooden statue of Buddha at the Hōkō-ji temple (Kyoto). According to the chronicles, this 24-meter statue, called Kyoto Daibutsu, was so large that it obscured the sun and mountains. However, on August 14, 1596, a powerful earthquake destroyed both the temple itself and the huge statue of Buddha. After the earthquake, in 1602, they tried to restore it, the ebb of the destroyed parts of the statue in bronze, but again fate decided in its own way. In the process of casting, negligent workers caused a fire, and finally burned the magnificent statue.

Now the largest man-made figure of Buddha in the world is the 120-meter statue of Ushiku Daibutsu, built in 1995 in Ibaraki Prefecture, 50 km from Tokyo.

Each side of the base of the largest pyramid in the world, known as the pyramid of Khufu or the pyramid of Cheops, is 230.4 meters long. Thus, the base area of this structure would fit 10 football fields.

It is believed that the process of erecting the pyramid lasted 20 years, and its original dimensions were even larger. Its mass is now estimated at about 5.9 million tons, its volume - at 2,500,000 m3. And if we take as a basis that the construction of the pyramid lasted 20 years, it is possible to calculate that about 800 tons of stone were laid by workers per day. In addition, since the Cheops pyramid consists of approximately 2.3 million stone blocks, over the course of 20 years, builders moved an average of 12 blocks every hour.

Almost all the boulders that make up this amazing structure adjoin each other with incredible precision. Modern scientists, having investigated this issue, have confirmed that the gaps between them do not exceed 0.5 millimeters.

For those who don't know, the US Department of Defense headquarters building is a pentagon.

And the history of the construction of this unusual structure is very interesting in its own way. The decision that America's War Department needed a new building arose in July 1941. Government officials initially agreed that the headquarters should be built on the banks of the Potomac River in Arlington, Virginia. And there were many requirements for its construction. First, it was planned that its height would not exceed 4 floors, which predetermined its "spreading" in breadth, not in height. Secondly, and this was one of the main conditions, a minimum amount of steel had to be present in its design. The Pentagon was built as a reinforced concrete structure using 680,000 tons of sand extracted from the Potomac River.

The third condition was the ability of the building floor to support the weight of 732 kg per m2. This requirement arose from the assumption that the Pentagon, if necessary, could be used as a warehouse.

The construction of the Pentagon took about 16 months, and cost the US budget a tidy $ 83 million. Its dimensions are also impressive: despite the fact that the height of the building is quite small - 23 m, each of the five sides of the building is 281 meters in length. In order to get around the Pentagon building, a person will need to walk about 20 minutes at a regular pace.

The building area is about 600,000 m2, of which more than half is occupied by office space. The Pentagon has five sides, five floors above the ground, two levels of underground floors and 28.2 km of corridors.

A lot has been written about this building of Chinese civilization, so we will confine ourselves to only one funny fact, which many consider to be true, and some believe it to be fiction.

It is believed that the Great Wall of China is the only human structure visible not only from space, but also from the moon itself. Regarding the Moon, we can definitely say that this is a myth, and scientists have proven this more than once. But the fact that the Chinese wall is visible in low earth orbit is still debated. Moreover, these disputes have been resolved more than once even in courtrooms. At least the astronauts claim that none of them managed to see the Chinese wall from space with the naked eye. However, even the European Space Agency once tried to officially prove that this was possible by posting a supposedly photo of the wall on its website. However, quite soon representatives of this organization denied their own information, saying that the river appeared in the photo. So, most likely, none of the existing structures on earth can be seen from space. Even the Great Wall of China, no matter how anyone would like it.

The John Hancock Tower is a 60-story, 240-meter high skyscraper in Boston. Built in 1976, it held the leading position as the tallest building in England for 30 years. For its time, Hancock Tower was an incredible architectural masterpiece that embodied all the latest technologies and modernist ideas of architecture.

However, in spite of all its masterpiece, this skyscraper is considered, perhaps, the most disastrous high-rise building of the 20th century. And there are many reasons for this. Firstly, the completion of its construction, which was planned for 1971, had to be postponed for as much as 5 years due to the fact that the process of building the building damaged almost all adjacent buildings. Including the famous Trinity Church.

The owners of the project had to pay for all the miscalculations of construction and repair work. And the total cost of the tower, which was originally equal to $ 75 million, increased to $ 175 million. But the main problem of the skyscraper was its large windows (1.2 mx 3.4 m), glazed with anti-reflective glass. The tower was not even a month old from birth, when on one unpleasant day dozens of glasses began to fall on the pavement themselves. Glasses that did not fall out also behaved strangely - they made unusual sounds, "sang", burst and cracked. It looked so mysterious, frightening and mystical that people scattered from the streets in panic and flatly refused to work in the ominous skyscraper. The architects tore their hair out, gave numerous explanations, apologized and hired workers to monitor the appearance of new cracks in the glass. But, however, they could not understand in any way what is the reason for such behavior of windows.

In October 1973, the owners of the tower announced that they were forced to replace all 10,344 glass panes, which cost them almost $ 7 million. It's funny, but about 5,000 replaced, but the whole glass was subsequently used in other places, and all of them were invariably ... ordinary ... Replacing such a number of glasses took several months. At this time, many window openings were filled with plywood boards, and soon the building among the common people acquired the shameful nickname of the Plywood Palace. People joked that Hancock Tower was the tallest plywood building.

But, and windows were not the only problem of the constructed tower. Those few residents of Boston who dared to work in it constantly complained of "seasickness" and motion sickness, for the skyscraper was noticeably shaking in the wind.

The building was fortified, examined and often shrugged, unable to understand what evil spell was imposed on it. In the end, several million more were "poured" into it. And only after a long and expensive study in a wind tunnel did they understand what the reasons were. It turned out that the structure of the building under the influence of the wind and in connection with the thermal stress between the internal and external glass panels, as it were, twists and loses its stability. It was the laws of physics, and not otherworldly forces, that were responsible for this.

Did you know that initially no one believed in the strength of the metal structure of the tower, believing that metal cannot be as durable as stone.

But, the tower turned out to be very "tenacious", even though under the influence of the wind it really sways perceptibly. 72 engineers and mathematicians participated in the design and construction of the tower, the name of each of whom is engraved on their "brainchild". Another interesting fact about the world famous tower is that every 7 years a large team of painters completely repaints it brown. And this process takes as much as 50 tons of paint, and the very color of this paint even began to be called "Eiffel Tower brown".

Curiously, it was thanks to the tower that the famous spy Mata Hari was "calculated". Having hung a radio receiver on the tower in 1917, the soldiers of the French counterintelligence were able to trace its encryption, after which Hari was caught.

During the German occupation, the Nazis closed the tower to the public.

1940 photo

Nazi soldiers tried to hang a swastika on the spire of the structure, but it did not last even a day, torn off by the wind. In 1944, when the allied troops approached the French capital, Hitler ordered Dietrich von Klotzing, the military governor of Paris, to blow up the Eiffel Tower, but he flatly refused to do so under threat of death. In 1960, Charles de Gaulle also wanted to dismantle the tower, albeit temporarily, moving it to Montreal for the Expo - 67 exhibition. However, this plan was flatly rejected by the government and the public.

  • What does it cost us to build a house!

  • Despite the fact that the purchase of ready-made residential buildings is becoming a more and more common trend in the Russian real estate market at the present time, most future homeowners still prefer independent construction of cottages and houses, using the labor of commercial contractors or private construction teams. The feasibility of such a decision is determined by several key factors: firstly, the overwhelming majority of private developers very often do not trust specialists - builders and are sure that if you give them complete freedom of action, they will definitely start to cheat. Accordingly, homeowners feel much calmer in those cases when they independently control every stage of all construction and repair work. Secondly, many private developers want to get an exclusive and original interior and exterior design, that is, so that their residential building is not the same as the majority, but unique and inimitable.
Thirdly, most of our compatriots naively believe that independent construction will cost them much cheaper if they save on payments to hired professional builders or on building materials.
  • Self-construction

  • Naturally, the independent construction of a residential building is often quite a profitable and economical process. However, homeowners should not flatter themselves too much - there are many subtleties and nuances in self-construction. Of course, in the case when a private developer is well versed in the topic of construction and, in particular, in the preparation of estimates, then the savings on repair and construction work will be very significant, for the simple reason that he will not let the contractor fool himself if he contributes to estimate documentation cost of non-existent building materials or outstanding services. Do not forget about the amount of "left" money that is laundered by contracting commercial organizations in the construction and sale of entire suburban settlements. Naturally, homeowners want to avoid such "laundering" in the construction of their house or cottage, and if they know all the intricacies of such work, then undoubtedly there will be certain benefits. In addition to knowing all the details of construction and repair work, homeowners should have the time and ability to constantly monitor the construction process, then of course everything will go perfectly. In addition, a private developer can build just such a country or city house that he has always dreamed of and make all his wildest desires and dreams come true. Otherwise, when buying a ready-made cottage, it will hardly be possible to get the original version, since with this option, when a contractor is building a number of residential buildings, then, as a rule, they all turn out to be of the same type. However, many Russians spend a lot of money for ready-made residential buildings only because they perfectly understand the impossibility of building a cottage on their own, since this process will take a lot of their time, effort and nerves.

Brick - strong and durable; gas silicate and foam concrete blocks (in everyday life - foam blocks) have low thermal conductivity and, as is commonly believed, are relatively inexpensive. What material to choose for the construction of a stone house? There is no definite answer, it is, rather, about a reasonable choice of these two options. To help you make the right choice, in this article we will compare country houses made of bricks and foam blocks.

What wall thickness is it better to choose for permanent residence in a foam block house?

The thicker the walls, the less heat loss. But heat savings are achieved at the cost of increasing construction costs. In this article, we will discuss issues related to the reasonable choice of wall thickness from gas silicate and foam concrete blocks in a house intended for permanent residence.

Is a boiler room always needed in a country house?

A separate room for a boiler room and a boiler room is, on the one hand, convenience in terms of operation, control and repair of equipment, and on the other, loss of usable space. Here we will discuss in which cases it is possible to do without a technical room (boiler room and boiler room), and in which cases it is impractical or impossible.

    Ytong Block House Construction

The construction of houses from foam blocks, that is, from gas silicate and foam concrete blocks, has recently been very popular. Is there a difference from which gas silicate blocks to build a house? Why are some blocks better or worse than others? And is it worth paying attention to?

    Facing the house with bricks

One of the most common finishing options for all types of country houses is brick cladding. This type of finish is attractive because it looks beautiful and stylish; externally, brick houses look solid and solid, even if inside, under the brickwork, there is a wooden frame or foam blocks; and it is, moreover, very durable: built and forgotten.

How does the insulation of its walls affect the ecology of a wooden house?

In order for a wooden house to be warm, that is, to comply with modern standards for retention of heat, its walls must be insulated. At the same time, it turns out that from the point of view of ecology, an insulated house is no worse, and in some cases better than houses made of rounded logs or glued beams.

How to properly insulate a house from a bar?

Since the walls of country houses made of logs or beams, as a rule, are 2-2.5 times thinner than modern thermal engineering standards require, in order for a wooden house to turn out to be warm, its walls must be insulated. A good option for insulation is to insulate the house from the outside using the "ventilated facade" technology.

Do I need to insulate a wooden house?

Compared to brick and concrete, wood is a warm building material: its thermal conductivity is several times lower than that of bricks, and about 30% less than that of gas silicate and foam concrete blocks used in low-rise construction. The thermal conductivity is lower only for insulation - mineral wool or expanded polystyrene. However, modern building codes, in force since 2000, have significantly increased the requirements for the ability of walls to retain heat. In accordance with them, the thickness of external walls made of solid wood should be more than 40 cm. Of course, houses made of glued beams 35-40 cm thick or houses made of rounded logs with a thickness of more than 50 cm are extremely rare and expensive exotic. This means that it remains either to ignore modern building codes, or to insulate the walls of a wooden house.

Projects of country houses and cottages

The Zagorodny Dom company offers a wide variety of standard projects of country houses. The project you like is being finalized taking into account the ideas, tastes, preferences and specific needs of the Customer, so that the house that we will build for you will by no means turn out to be a replicated stamp, it will have its own unique personality. This applies to architecture, planning, and decoration of a country house. In fact, an individual project of a country house is obtained from a typical project, and this is good, because only a house made “for yourself” will really feel “yours”, and you will feel like its owner.

Electric boilers in heating systems of country houses

Electric boilers for heating systems of country houses operate on the principle of a high-power instantaneous water heater. According to the method of electrical connection, electric boilers are both single-phase and three-phase. Their minimum power is 2.5-3 kW. Quite often, several electric boilers are included in the heating scheme of a country house.

The construction of houses is the main direction of our construction company. According to statistics, the pace of low-rise housing construction is constantly gaining momentum, despite the financial crises, political reforms and other circumstances. Our company has been offering consumers such a service as inexpensive construction of private houses and "turnkey" cottages for several years. A wide selection of contractors in this area makes high demands on the quality of construction work in all areas. Only by offering consumers a quality end product at a relatively low price can you successfully compete with other organizations. Ordering such a service from us means getting a beautiful comfortable home in the near future and relatively cheaply.

Aerated concrete and aerated concrete blocks are almost ten times superior in thermal protection, which means that in the future you will significantly save on heating. You will be surprised, but the thermal conductivity of aerated blocks of standard thickness is equivalent to 60 cm brickwork. The air trapped in the voids of aerated concrete blocks gives not only heat, but also a sound insulating effect, which is 3-5 times superior to brick. Due to its high air and vapor permeability, aerated concrete provides an ideal indoor climate. This material is resistant to dampness, which means that you are not afraid of fungus and mold. Which will be very helpful for those who suffer from respiratory or joint diseases.

The construction of an individual house or cottage is a laborious and very complex process that consists of many stages. In order to easily overcome one stage after another, you need to have specialized knowledge in the field of design and construction. It is better to entrust the construction of a private house, from the very beginning, to responsible professionals. This will not only protect you from many problems and mistakes in the process, but will also save financial resources by 15-18%.

Cinder blocks are popular due to their low cost, it is an order of magnitude lower than, for example, the price of a brick. The sufficiently large dimensions of the block allow you to quickly erect walls from it, which significantly reduces the time spent on building a house. Simple laying technology is no different from brick masonry; any qualified bricklayer can lay such masonry. A room made of such blocks turns out to be beautiful, durable and quite warm. As you can see, there are many positive aspects.

Everyone wants to live in a comfortable and solid home. Therefore, in the construction of private houses in Moscow and the Moscow region, we constantly introduce new technologies and use the best building materials that ensure an environmentally friendly and comfortable living. Aerated concrete is a new material in the construction of new private houses. It is 85% filled with pores. Foam concrete is considered one of the most common and affordable concrete. This material perfectly isolates sounds and has good thermal insulation, unlike ceramic bricks. In addition, the price for it is much lower.

Block house construction is a fairly popular category of all building construction methods. Now the use of various blocks in construction exceeds the share of using bricks as a material for the construction of load-bearing structures. If we are talking about facing bricks, this is a completely different story. For many customers, this finishing material is still associated with presentability and representativeness. However, the choice of brick for all basic work is not always sufficiently justified. Firstly, brickwork is a laborious process that requires not only great efforts, but also time. Secondly, the high cost of the material in this case negatively affects the total cost of work. Thirdly, a brick cannot provide high thermal insulation properties equal to these indicators when using various types of blocks for building a house, therefore we recommend this particular material for building the walls of a room.

Houses made of high-tech gas silicate blocks are becoming more and more popular not only in Europe, but also in central Russia, due to their good performance characteristics, environmental friendliness and an affordable price. Gas silicate is a lightweight (5 times lighter than concrete) durable and inexpensive building material with low thermal conductivity and high fire resistance.

We have considerable experience in the construction of country houses, cottages and baths, which we build, mainly in Moscow and the Moscow region. By contacting our company, you will expect not only low prices, but also the quality of construction work, carried out taking into account modern fashion trends. Moreover, the cost of our services is low, which is achieved not by a loss in quality, but by reducing unnecessary costs and providing good discounts.

Brick walls are the optimal location of the heating circuit of the cottage, the dew point is brought out, the inner walls do not fog up, the ideal microclimate is maintained in the premises, there is no fogging. The cost of building a brick house is low, when choosing a project for a one-story building with an attic, the developer fits into the average construction budget.

One expanded clay concrete block can replace 7-8 bricks at once. Thanks to this, the construction time of expanded clay concrete houses is reduced by 3 times. The exact timeline depends on how complex the project is. One way or another, our employees will use their time very effectively, which will allow us to carry out the construction of a house from expanded clay concrete in a short time.

The preparation of estimates for the construction of a house is regulated by the norms. The complex forms of calculations provided for by the norms are mandatory for budget work. For private orders, the estimate can be used in a simplified form that is more understandable for the customer. The calculation principle is simple: each item (line) is an indication of the amount of work performed, the price for its implementation and the cost of the specified volume, equal to the quantity multiplied by the price. It is in such a simple and understandable form that our estimates for the construction of houses are drawn up.

The popularity of the stone is due to its many positive characteristics, such as high strength and resistance to sudden changes in temperature. In addition, it is important to note that natural stone is environmentally friendly and does not emit harmful fumes, so it can be safely used when working in residential premises. The use of natural stone as the main building material allows you to get a home, the advantages of which will be reliability, durability and comfort.

Houses made of porous blocks are more and more often found among the objects of individual construction. This modern ceramic-based material is a large-format fired clay block with a high percentage of air cavities in the structure. This material is not yet widespread, its popularity is only gaining momentum. Therefore, ordering a house from it and getting high-quality and competently erected housing is not possible everywhere.

Monolithic construction of houses is made from high quality concrete mix and can be carried out in fixed or removable formwork. With the help of formwork, architectural contours are made, which are intended to be filled with concrete. In order to strengthen the strength of the supporting structure, steel reinforcement is mounted in the formwork.

Our company is engaged in the construction and repair of houses and cottages in Moscow and the Moscow region at a professional level. The advantages of our company over competing organizations are in an integrated approach to organizing the construction and repair of a house. The success of such undertakings directly depends on a competent assessment of the condition of the site or of an already finished object, the development of the project, and the implementation of the construction activities outlined in the plan.

Among the newest modern methods of building houses and cottages, the use of heat-efficient blocks should be highlighted, which are an excellent material for building walls. This technology allows us to significantly reduce the construction time. Modern construction of monolithic buildings also speeds up the process. This technology is actively used for the construction of low-rise buildings. A reinforced concrete frame is used here, which guarantees the durability of the structure. In addition, the owners of such a building will be able to make redevelopment at any time.

Often people living in apartments dream of a country cottage that will fully meet their needs, desires and dreams. To build a house according to the needs of the whole family or those who will live in it, you need to work hard, because creating something unique and individual is not so easy. To do this, you need to have a solid store of knowledge in many areas of construction, starting with design. If you still have an idea of your own cottage, then you should know that you need to start with the acquisition of a profitable land plot and drawing up a plan for building a house.

Building a house is a responsible business and there are no trifles here. Therefore, the question: "What is the best way to start construction?" - very relevant, especially for those who have no experience in the construction of such facilities. First of all, you need to assess your capabilities and the feasibility of this voluminous and expensive event. If you come to the conclusion that you want to start building a house, then experts advise you to start with the steps below.

Houses with an attic are distinguished by a number of advantages, thanks to which their construction is gaining more and more popularity among developers every day. The specialists of our company have extensive experience in performing such work, which allows them to quickly perform any construction tasks of any complexity, the cost of which is affordable. It is important to note that we offer our services at a very competitive price in Moscow and the Moscow region. Cooperation with our company allows us to guarantee the expected high quality result.

Currently, the range of materials for the construction of private houses is extremely large. The choice of this or that material depends on the structural features of the building structure itself, as well as on the climatic zone in which it will be located. On the market you can find both traditional materials for building houses, used for many centuries, and high-tech, with improved technical characteristics and completely new properties.

The organization of building a house is a complex matter and requires both the availability of specific knowledge and a systematic approach, without which the construction procedure can be violated, the deadlines are disrupted, and the work technology is not followed. In order for the construction process to take its course, it is required to break it down into stages, think over and develop each of them, and adhere to the drawn up plan in implementation.

The types of construction of houses are different, as well as the modern technologies by which they are built. A building can be small, large, or just a huge mansion. In addition, its appearance can be no less varied. Someone wants to get a two- or three-storey cottage, someone is one-storey, with or without an attic, a simple classical form or individual design. Our company can build any type of turnkey house according to the customer's project or developed by us.

Currently, the construction of houses from foam blocks is one of the most demanded and popular services in the domestic market. This fact is completely unsurprising, because the presented material has excellent technical and operational characteristics. Do not confuse it with a gas block, as these are two different materials. Compared with it, the foam block has greater moisture resistance, softness, low price, which makes it more attractive.

The garage, located in the basement, allows efficient use of the territory if the site is small. However, during the construction of such a garage, it is necessary to observe the appropriate technology, which in this case provides for the installation of a storm grate directly in front of its gates, as well as the creation of an artificial elevation near the gate, which prevents atmospheric precipitation from entering inside. These measures are necessary, since if it is located on a basement floor, its floor level is below the soil level, which can lead to flooding of the building floor if the construction technology is incorrect.

Modern chalet-style houses, which Europeans love very much, resemble houses from good old fairy tales. The buildings with a high stone base have a convenient layout, everything here is conducive to a comfortable rest. The ceilings are low, the ceiling beams are not covered, which creates additional charm and comfort. Chalet houses are built from natural materials. Natural color shades are characteristic for their external and internal finishing.

The technology of building German houses was invented in the Middle Ages and from the 16th century. was actively used in Western Europe. The technique allows you to break down the entire work into several sequential stages. Depending on the selected project, the fasteners used in the construction may differ. These can be real oak pins or more modern options, such as strong bolted connections.

Before starting the construction of a house, the soil is analyzed. Fragile soil is an indicator for the implementation of a pile supporting structure. Before the construction of such a foundation, the soil is subjected to additional analysis, which makes it possible to determine the depth of immersion of the supports. The type of piles determines how they are immersed in the ground. They are installed in the soil by driving, vibrating, pressing or screwing. The supports are immersed in incompressible soil layers using special equipment. In weakened soils with an abundance of groundwater, it is preferable to build a pile foundation. It is easier to hammer supports into weak soils than to lay a strip base.

Building a home with a basement is a little more expensive than building a basement home, but in the end, the extra costs are worth it, and you get solid benefits. The basement, first of all, is a powerful thermal insulation layer. Secondly, it can store firewood and coal, which are used to heat the building. A heating boiler can also be placed in here. The basement is ideal for equipping it as a recreation center, laundry, wine cellar, billiard room or a cozy home theater. Such premises play a special role in rural areas. The basement in the house, as a rule, is buried in the ground to a depth of 2-2.5 meters.

What is the difference between winter construction and summer construction? First of all, the customer, who has chosen winter for building a house, will not experience any difficulties either with the labor force or with special equipment, since, unlike summer, when both are in great demand, this season any work is a rarity. ... In addition to the fact that there are no problems with the labor force, labor costs will be significantly reduced due to the same high competition in winter. If you start building houses in winter, you should, if possible, carry out concrete work during a period with freezing temperatures. However, if this fails, disaster will not happen - heating mats and antifreeze additives for the solution will come to the rescue.

In order for communications in the house to work properly for a long time, a special project is being developed. It will not be superfluous to consider various options for the construction of engineering networks, including autonomous ones. So it will be possible to choose an option that will take into account all the features of a residential building and at the same time is justified from an economic point of view. Therefore, you need to contact only specialized companies that have already earned a good reputation and have the appropriate license. Then this project is coordinated with interested organizations. Doing it yourself is not always easy.

When building a house, special attention is paid to its appearance, since the future construction should please the eye not only of the owner, but also of ordinary passers-by. There are several features that are taken into account when building beautiful houses. First, the materials used. In order to build a beautiful house, you need to choose building materials that will have a great appearance. As a rule, the choice in this component is made in favor of wood and brick.

The construction of a small house is carried out on the client's land. The site is preliminarily studied by the company's specialists: the composition of the soil, the depth of its freezing, the features of the site's relief, the depth of the groundwater, and the like are established. The listed information is necessary for calculating the foundation of a small house. Particular attention is paid to the presence on the site or near it of engineering and technical and electrical networks and points of connection of the future structure to communications. Project documentation is coordinated with companies that provide water supply, sewerage, energy and gas supply services. The boundary zones for the placement of buildings on the ground are determined.

A house built according to a standard design is obviously devoid of construction defects inherent in new buildings. The cost of simple construction is clearly indicated in advance, and you can be sure that the costs will fully correspond to the data in the design and estimate documentation. The use of a unified technology and standardized structural elements makes it possible to speed up the process of building a building several times, compared to working on an individual solution.

Construction and decoration of cottages and houses is a very serious and responsible task that requires great skills, experience and professionalism. In addition, at the end of construction, the finished house needs both interior and exterior finishing. The hallmark of a house is its façade, which creates an overall impression of the building. Therefore, it is necessary to approach the issue of choosing materials for the facade with all seriousness. In addition, this construction work should be entrusted exclusively to specialists. Do not forget that the facade is not just the appearance of the whole house, but also the performance of functions such as thermal insulation and sound insulation.

Luxury homes are select buildings, the finest and most exquisite. They are completely different from everyone else, they stand out and attract attention. They represent a carefully selected ensemble of design ideas, its material embodiment in stone or wood, from a thoughtful environment and the very atmosphere of luxury and splendor.

Thanks to modern building materials, now there is an opportunity to build almost any structures that fully meet the wishes of customers.

All efforts in the design and construction of energy-efficient houses are aimed at preserving heat by any means. At the same time, such conditions are created in which the building is an independent structure, independent of other energy sources. Such houses can serve themselves on their own, using the energy that they themselves produce. In conventional structures, about 90% of the energy is spent on space heating and water heating. That is why a lot of attention is paid to the issue of heating in energy-saving houses.

If you are planning to move out of town for year-round living, then you need a winter house. In some cases, it makes sense to remodel a summer cottage building, but it is more promising to build a new capital building, since you will have to live in it for more than one or two years. A house for permanent residence is in many ways different from summer cottages. These are structural features, and the selection of materials, and the characteristics of engineering communications. Today the construction market offers a wide variety of various high-tech materials that will make it possible to make even a frame house warm and comfortable in the conditions of the Russian winter.

Depending on whether the house is insulated, and how well the work on thermal insulation was carried out, it depends how much money will be spent on heating it during the cold season. The construction of an insulated house is a great opportunity to significantly save on heating it, avoid dampness and mold and create an ideal microclimate in the house. Thermal insulation can reduce energy costs by 40-50%. In the event that you immediately build an insulated house, you will not have to think about how to modernize it in the future.

Thinking about the construction of an underground house, it should be understood that the costs will be much higher than in the case of the construction of a simple building. You need to make sure that the materials are available and that they are affordable. As a rule, the construction of an underground house begins with the selection of a land plot. The place for the future building needs to be studied based on the features of the relief and soil composition. In addition, it is important to determine the presence and level of groundwater, as well as other important factors affecting the reliability of the structure. It is imperative to consult with architects who will draw up a detailed project competently and on time. In addition, experts correlate the desired project with existing similar buildings.

Today, fast-assembly buildings from a variety of designs are quite popular in all countries. All this is due to the fact that the need for real estate is rapidly increasing in commercial markets, and the need for quick commissioning of objects is increasing, and thus this development becomes the most relevant and in demand. Frameless construction of houses is one of the most reliable and fastest ways that does not only available for any class of the population, but also more effective in many ways.

At the heart of the demolition of houses for construction is a well-designed project for future work. Only a comprehensive analysis of the existing terrain conditions, the characteristics of the structure intended for demolition, and the customer's requirements, allows us to obtain at the final stage of work a result that fully meets the set conditions. Performing work on the demolition of houses for construction in a city requires a balanced approach, as well as careful removal of the dismantled materials. At the same time, one should not forget about the organization of events aimed at ensuring the safety of life of passers-by, neighboring buildings. Not every person is able to cope with all these difficulties on their own, so the most correct way out of the situation is to use the services of professionals.

A significant advantage of building houses on a slope is a significant saving in money and materials due to the use of elevation differences. With a slope of more than 8%, it becomes possible to locate utility rooms under the first floor, which significantly reduces the amount of earthwork. But do not forget about the waterproofing layer, which is placed under the foundation slab and on its surface. With a slope of less than 3%, money is saved due to the acquisition of a simple standard project, since when erecting a building, to create a flat area, it is enough to just pour the required amount of soil under it.

Many people want to live by the water, but not every city dweller can have such an opportunity. In this case, the best solution would be to build your own suburban floating house. Buildings on the water can be called a real dream for those people who cannot imagine life without fishing or hunting. It is worth noting that citizens living within the city also have the right to build floating houses on the water, but this requires collecting all the necessary documentation.

The part of the building located directly on the foundation is called the plinth by the builders. It is manufactured from materials designed for long-term use. This is especially important for the outer surface. The room, which has blind areas and is located in the depths, is called the basement floor. When building a house with a plinth, you need to know that these floors have several varieties. It may coincide with the surface of the wall, it may be protruding or, on the contrary, sinking.

For the construction of a balcony, a slab with different types of fastening is most often used. For example, if we are talking about mounting a platform in the roof of a house, then it will be an attic. In this case, the balcony seems to be recessed into the roof and looks more like a loggia, since it often has two walls. However, other structures are most often used - a cantilevered slab or cantilever beams for fastening, depending on the wishes of the client and the building need.

The house, on the facade of which a bay window flaunts, attracts attention with an exquisite and stylish look. Due to the protruding part of the building, the volume of the internal space increases and the panorama of the view expands. The original solution facilitates the penetration of a large amount of light into the rooms and allows the premises to be used for any purpose.

Many people do not fully understand the meaning of the term "home box", which can lead to misunderstandings with contractors. To avoid problems, you should immediately stipulate what exactly is included in the range of services. As a rule, this is a structure consisting of a foundation, walls with floor slabs, and a roof. If the project involves flights of stairs, then they are also included in the overall complex. Nevertheless, in each specific case, the list of services can be significantly changed, naturally by agreement of the parties. So, builders can include in their work the construction of some structural elements: screeds around the house, the device of the porch, window and door openings, drainage systems and much more.

Round houses cope with snow loads much better than their traditional counterparts. In addition, the streamlined shape helps to reduce the negative impact of strong winds. For example, round houses actively resist a snow load equal to 700 kg of precipitation per square meter. The building, made in the form of a sphere, is not afraid of winds with a speed of movement of air masses up to 250 km / h.

The main indicator of an effective planning for the construction of an ideal house is the comfortable living in it for the whole family. First of all, this is a separate room for each family member. The process of building cottages using monolithic technology takes place in several main stages. First, a special formwork is installed on the construction site. Its type is chosen depending on the type of the future structure and the set architectural tasks. A special mixture is poured into the finished formwork, and the frame of the future building is made. The cost of work is determined based on the individual characteristics of the work.

If it is planned to build cottages from blocks, then the most common mortar can be used for fastening. And also a special glue made just for such purposes. There will always be some unevenness in the foundation. Therefore, it is important to accurately measure the corners with a level, and start laying from the one that is at the maximum height. To level the masonry in a vertical plane, a special mooring rope is used. It is stretched between the corners, and the masonry of the walls of the future cottage is aligned strictly along it. In the horizontal plane, alignment is carried out using a level. If irregularities are found, then they are grinded using a special plane. The resulting dust is removed with a soft brush. Also, walls can be leveled using a level that can simultaneously work in three planes. The use of such a device makes the work more accurate and simple.

One of the most promising areas of modern cottage construction is the use of aerated concrete blocks. This is an opportunity to build a comfortable cottage at a low price and within a short period of time. The presented technology is distinguished by the use of innovative solutions and high efficiency. The use of aerated concrete allows you to build a country house or a comfortable cottage of any layout and architectural level of complexity. According to experts in this field, the pace of construction in this sector every year is increasing by more than 12%.

Cottages built from foam blocks are very durable, since these materials are highly resistant to adverse environmental factors. Unlike a material such as aerated concrete, foam blocks are made with more closed pores. Due to this structural feature, they are much less able to absorb moisture. A house made of foam blocks always remains dry and not susceptible to mold and moisture accumulation between the walls. Despite this feature, cottages made of foam blocks have the same high frost resistance and the same excellent sound insulation properties as other well-known building materials.

After the completion of the work, communications are carried out, and the ceilings are finished. In this case, the wires are laid in such a way that they are carefully hidden. As for the ceiling, it can be covered with a protective compound, and subsequently varnished, whitewashed, or sheathed with wooden panels (clapboard). If the cottage is built of wood, then a special protective agent is applied to its walls. After that, the surface is varnished (this allows you to preserve the natural color of the wood). In the bathroom, the walls are leveled with drywall, and then the tiles are laid.

A typical cottage is a house built according to time-tested technologies and projects. In this case, “typical” does not mean “standard”, “stamped” or “same”. In the process of creating such a dwelling, they collected together a huge number of developments, analyzed the experience gained over many years and made a housing project that has a lot of advantages in terms of basic structures, utilities and other technical issues. At the same time, no one limits the freedom of the future owner of square meters in the implementation of original design solutions.

In recent years, old technologies and construction materials have changed significantly and new ones have appeared, which are used in the construction of cottages, country houses and other low-rise residential buildings. In the construction of modern cottages, materials such as bricks, aerated concrete and ceramic blocks are widely used. The choice of technology for building a cottage depends on the purpose of using the future building, the characteristics of the land plot, as well as on the personal preferences of the customer.

Individual design and construction of turnkey cottages has a number of advantages that distinguish it from other methods - the entire cottage project is created by you, here you indicate your wishes, starting from the number of floors and rooms and ending with the location of furniture. A fixed budget is one of the main advantages of individual construction of cottages, that is, no unforeseen waste and surcharges. Design and construction is carried out under the leadership of one company, which is good news. This ensures that the entire process of creating a house goes through without your intervention. Fast moving, the house is equipped with everything necessary for living.

Usually, economy-class cottages are inexpensive but high-quality houses that are far enough away from large cities. All the necessary communications are brought to the house. The construction of inexpensive cottages is interesting in that the house is being built very quickly, which allows you to move to your own house within 2-3 months after buying the land. Buildings of this level are distinguished by a convenient and simple infrastructure that allows you to live in a house all year round.

The construction of a cottage or house is a complex step-by-step process that requires serious preparatory work and long terms. The site on which the future structure will be located is of great importance. It is necessary to take into account many legislative and natural nuances. For example, restrictions on the height of buildings in a given area, building density, bearing soil qualities. The last parameter is especially important. Before starting the step-by-step construction of a cottage, you need to carry out a complex of geological research, which includes laboratory analyzes of soil and groundwater, as well as topography. This helps to find the optimal location for the building.

One of the achievements of engineering is the construction of one-storey cottages not in the form of a brick box with a wall thickness of 1 m, but according to the rational technology of casting concrete into permanent formwork. The building turns out to be monolithic, durable "for centuries". Fireproof thin walls of 0.3 m effectively store heat and prevent sound from passing through. They are laid on a shallow foundation. Significant savings in material costs. It is a pleasure to build such a one-story cottage, without heavy equipment and almost 10 times faster. Savings at every stage of work.

The foundation is the underground part of the structure, which holds the entire weight of the erected structure and distributes the load to the ground. The durability and reliability of the entire structure largely depends on the quality of the foundation laid, which is why this stage of construction requires special attention. It is important to correctly choose the type of foundation, calculate its cost, realistically assess the possibility of erecting it on your own, or choose a construction company that will lay a reliable foundation for the cottage.

Despite the fact that townhouses appeared in Russia relatively recently, their happy owners have already been able to experience all the benefits of living. Of course, at the moment, our country cannot boast of as many houses as in the UK, where the authorities have almost completely abandoned the construction of high-rise buildings. Nevertheless, the experience gained in creating inexpensive townhouses already allows us to draw certain conclusions.
