How to properly connect a water heating tank. Connecting the boiler to the water supply, electrical and hydraulic diagrams

In most cases, water heaters are installed in bathrooms, in the kitchen or in the toilet, as well as near other plumbing points. The very scheme of connecting a water heater is not difficult, the main thing is to clearly follow the instructions below. The connection procedure consists of several stages: preparation, installation of the boiler, connection to the water supply and to the electrical network. Let's get acquainted in more detail with each of the stages.

Preparatory activities

Before starting work, you should determine how high the bearing capacity of the wall on which installation is planned is. We need to find out if it can support the weight - and significant - of the heater. If you suspect that it will not stand, then you can design a small stand for support or install additional brackets for the device.

Important information! Due to the fact that the speed of temperature regulation in our case does not play a special role, the boiler can be installed in any convenient place.

Otherwise, the installation procedure is nothing complicated: holes are drilled, dowels are hammered, a boiler is hung. But to do everything right, you need to prepare the necessary equipment and supplies. Let's get acquainted with the list.

Mounting level

FUM tape

Adjustable wrench

Polypropylene pipes

Pliers

Roulette

Marker

Phillips screwdriver

Perforator

Now let's go directly to the installation. As we found out, the boiler will be suspended on the wall, and in the extreme proximity to the tap: the fact is that when moving, the temperature of the working fluid decreases slightly.

Important information! The installation height depends solely on how comfortable the operation will be. The user should set the required modes without any difficulty.

The installation procedure should be as follows.

Step one... We decide on the installation site (this must be done immediately after purchasing the device). It is important that this place meets a number of requirements:

  • the water heater must have unhindered access throughout the entire operational period;
  • the wiring must be good enough (you need to check it) in order to withstand the load;
  • risers with piping must also be in excellent condition; often, when installing a boiler, people have to additionally replace pipes, since it is simply impossible to make a "tie-in" into old systems;
  • Finally, it is necessary that the wall where the heater will be suspended be able to support a mass twice the weight of the device (if the capacity of the latter is, say, 65 liters, then the wall needs to withstand at least 130 kilograms).

Step two... Without exception, all storage boilers (namely, these are installed in most cases) have a fairly powerful heating element, because the liquid, obviously, needs to be heated quickly. For this reason, the connection diagram of the water heater implies a number of peculiar requirements for the laying of wires (their diameter depends on the recommendations of a particular manufacturer, although on average it is from 0.4 to 0.6 cm).

In addition, it is advisable to find out the capabilities of the meter, the maximum current with which it can function normally (if this indicator is below forty amperes, then such an accounting device must be dismantled and replaced with a new one). To install the heater, you will also need a switch designed for the required number of amperes, and a 3x6 or 3x8 wire.

Step three... The time has come for the installation itself. First, we take a marker and draw a line on the wall, which will be the lowest point of our water heater. Next, we measure the distance of the mounting plate located in the upper part of the case from this line. After that, at both points marked on the wall, we drill holes.

Important information! There are no holes on the bar itself, since it will cling to hook-type anchors embedded in the surface.

If the walls are made of concrete, then we "charge" the perforator with a drill made from Pobedit, if the wall is ordinary, wooden, then an ordinary drill for wood will do (its diameter should exceed the same indicator of the dowels). We drive dowels there, if necessary, use a hammer. We screw iron anchors into the dowels - a kind of hooks with which the water heater will be hung. We tighten the anchors all the way (as a rule, it is about 10-12 centimeters). We attach the boiler to the anchors by means of a fastening strip.

Boiler safety valve

Earlier we talked about how to properly install a safety valve for a boiler, wiring diagrams and prices. In addition to this article, we advise you to read this information.

In principle, this is where the installation of the heater ends. As you can see, there was nothing super complicated in this.

Stage two. Connection to the water supply system

For connection we take elastic hoses, but instead of them, you can use both PP and metal-plastic pipes. Any boiler has a couple of connectors to which pipes can be connected:

  • red - heated water will come out through it;
  • blue - through it, tap water will flow into the tank.

These connectors can be seen in the water heater connection diagram below.

In places where hot and cold water is indicated, there should be house risers (if we are talking about a city apartment). The numbers 1 and 2 designate the taps that shut off and resume the water supply to the storage tank and back from the boiler. With a functioning device, all taps must be open, and with a non-functioning device, respectively, closed. The numbers 3 and 4 denote the water supply taps to the premises. They are necessary in order to stop the water supply if necessary. And, finally, 5 is a check valve that protects the heating element from overheating (if the water supply is turned off, the boiler tank will not be wasted, and the heating element, therefore, will not burn out).

Important information! To understand the essence of the process, let's briefly consider how the water heater itself works. Water is supplied in it from below, and if for one reason or another the water supply is interrupted, then all of it will rush into an empty pipe. In this case, the heating elements will warm up the air and will soon burn out. And a check valve is needed in order to prevent an emergency.

Such a device should be included in the kit of any good boiler, special attention should be paid to this.

The number 6 denotes the tap that empties the storage tank. With the help of such a tap, it will be possible to drain the water from the device during dismantling. Indeed, depending on its capacity, the tank can contain up to 150 liters.

Now let's get down to the workflow.

Step one... The safety valve included in the kit is installed where cold water will enter the device. The joint in this case must be wrapped in advance with a sealant.

Step two... We fasten the hose to the fuse located at the bottom of the tap. There is no need to use a seal here, as the nut is already equipped with a rubber gasket, which plays a similar role.

Step three... We also screw the other end of the hose to the pipe intended for hot water supply. Traditionally, we refuse to use a sealant.

Step four... Next, we connect one end of the cold water hose to the water supply main, and the other is attached to the water heater inlet (recall: this is indicated in blue). But before that, a tap must be installed in this place so that, as noted above, the water supply can be shut off at any time.

This is where the "water" part of the work ends. Now let's talk in more detail about the purpose of the cranes.

Operation of water heater taps

Taps numbered 1 and 2 are necessary in order to shut off the water in case of non-use of the heater (for example, during dismantling). But taps 3 and 4 belong to city apartments - there they are installed to connect to the centralized water supply.

Tap 4 deserves special attention. It stops the movement of hot liquid between the riser and the room when the boiler is running. And now we will find out what is the connection diagram of a water heater to an open-type tank.

We connect the boiler to an open tank

This paragraph will focus exclusively on private houses and cottages. There, as you know, in the absence of a centralized water supply, special tanks are used to accumulate water, which are located in most cases on the roof. Although this will not be an obstacle to using a water heater! It is only important that the distance between the tank and the heating device does not exceed two meters; another important point: if the pressure in the line exceeds six bar, then a reducer must be installed - in front of the water heater - in order to be able to reduce it (pressure).

Diagram - If the tank is less than two meters above the boiler.

Scheme - if the tank is located more than two meters above the boiler.

Stage three. Connecting the device to the electrical network

Let's make a reservation right away that boilers need a standard 220 volt power supply, as well as a special grounding. For this reason, it is preferable to connect them to an already available outlet installed for the washing machine using a plug (of course, this is only possible if the outlet was run through an individual line and all requirements were met).

  • Certain knowledge and skills are required to work with electricity. After all, if you do not observe certain points during installation, this can lead not only to equipment failure, but also to electric shock.
  • Also, you will not have any problems with the choice of machines and those or other wires for installation.
  • Finally, in which case you will have someone to blame if the work was performed poorly. Of course, if a contract was previously signed with a reliable company.

It is also possible that this will force you to check the wiring throughout the house. It was a water heater connection diagram.

Connecting a boiler in the apartment

We have already mentioned this moment in passing, now we will discuss it in more detail. How is this setup different? The fact that in most of the apartments there is very little free space. Therefore, water heaters are often mounted on the back wall of the toilet (that is, where the wall cabinet is usually located). The algorithm of actions is as follows.

Step one... Buying a boiler. For our purposes, a device with a volume of no more than ten liters is suitable - larger models simply will not fit into the cabinet. Then we free the cabinet from all the contents in order to gain access to the sewer pipes.

Step two... We measure the center-to-center distance of the attachment as accurately as possible. We designate the height of the cabinet, the distance between the wall and it. After receiving all the necessary numbers, we take a tape measure and proceed to marking the wall surface. Next, in the required places we make holes, drive in the dowels, and screw the anchors into them.

Step three... We hang the water heater using anchors.

Step four... We fasten the cabinet door back. After that, it remains to connect the device to the power grid and centralized water supply (we do this as described in the paragraphs above).

We mount the heater under the sink

An excellent place for installing a water heater can be the void under the sink. For this we use a miniature device, preferably rectangular. After installation, it will not interfere, and the protection against moisture is very reliable. Although here, too, it is imperative to take care of grounding, otherwise there will be a risk of electric shock.

Important information! Never underestimate miniature boilers! Almost all of them have a capacity that allows you to get about two liters of heated water per minute.

As for the installation scheme, it has no significant differences from the one already described.

What are the best things to avoid when installing?

  • Repairs of any type must be carried out exclusively in accordance with safety requirements.
  • The boiler must not be switched on before it is filled with water.
  • You cannot connect it to a line where the pressure is higher than six atmospheres.
  • No amateur performance - do not make any changes to the design.
  • Do not drain the water heater connected to the mains.
  • Do not use accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Do not use a water heater without proper grounding.

As a result, we note that modern technologies allow any person, regardless of their place of residence (city, village), to have the proper level of comfort, an important element of which is constant hot water. The boiler has many advantages, the main one of which is complete autonomy, and the water heater connection diagram may well be implemented with your own hands. That's all, good luck with your work and warm winters!

Today it is difficult to imagine a house or apartment without hot water. However, it is not always possible to connect a building to a central hot water supply network. The way out of this situation is to buy a boiler. To install it, it is not at all necessary to seek help from specialists.

Any person who has at least some skills in carrying out sanitary and technical and electrical work can carry out this procedure with his own hand. How to properly connect a boiler with your own hands - this article is devoted to this topic.

Boiler - what is it

A boiler is a device designed to heat water. It greatly facilitates existence in the following situations:

  • in conditions of preventive shutdown of hot water;
  • in a country house.

As you can see in the photo of the boiler, it can be of a flow-through or storage type. The advantages of the former are compactness and light weight. The disadvantage is that a rather high power may not withstand the power grid. The most popular are storage boilers. This is due to the following advantages:

  • significant volume;
  • low cost;
  • lower energy consumption;
  • no high requirements for electrical wiring.

Water heaters can be wall or floor mounted. A boiler with a volume of up to 10 liters can be placed in a wall cabinet.

If you doubt your capabilities, then entrust the installation of a water heater to professionals. Fastening a boiler with your own hands is a risky business. This is especially true for apartments.

However, a careful study of the instructions from the manufacturer, the boiler connection diagrams and the actions strictly according to the technology greatly reduce the risk.

It is customary to highlight the following advantages of self-installing a boiler:

  • time is saved;
  • costs are reduced;
  • experience is gained, which will not become superfluous during the subsequent operation of the device.

Required materials and tools

Of the materials, you will need polypropylene pipes and FUM tape. For the tool, prepare:

  • puncher;
  • screwdriver;
  • pliers;
  • adjustable wrench;
  • felt-tip pen;
  • tape measure and level.

Mounting the boiler on the wall

This option for installing a water heating device is considered classic. The boiler is allowed to be mounted only on the load-bearing wall, and so that it is as close as possible to the water intake point.

The installation height of the device can be any. The main thing is that it is convenient to use it. Consider the step-by-step instructions for attaching a water heater:

Choosing a mounting location

Checking the validity of existing wiring. Not every network can withstand the power of heating elements with which boilers are equipped. The wiring requirements are specified in the product data sheet.

Direct mounting. First, mark on the wall where the lowest point of the boiler will be located. Then, having measured the distance to the upper fastening strip, we drill the holes, insert the dowels into them and screw them into the last anchors. We install a fastening bar on the anchor, on which the heater will subsequently be hung.

Connection to water supply pipes. Polypropylene pipes or hoses are used to connect the boiler to water.

Electrical connection. Not far from the boiler, you need to equip a socket.

Checking the operation of the device. We fill the tank and open the tap for hot water supply. This removes air from the system. We leave the boiler to work for several hours. Then you can start actively using it.

Indirect heating boiler

A heating device of this type is a container with water, inside which there is a heat exchanger connected to a heating boiler or to any system with a heat carrier.

The principle of operation is quite simple: a hot coolant enters the heat exchanger from the boiler and heats it, and from it the water in the tank is already heated.

There are two ways to connect an indirect heating boiler: with and without priority heating of hot water. In the first case, the entire volume of the coolant is pumped through the coil of the water heating device.

The water heats up quickly. In the second case, only a part of the coolant is sent to the indirect water heater. Heating water in this situation takes a long time.

Photo of the boiler connection process

This article will probably be more useful for residents of high-rise buildings than for residents living in private houses. Although, if gas is not supplied to the house, or it is a country house, then a storage water heater will be the very thing.

In city apartments, hot water supply is turned off twice a year: in the fall before the heating season and in the spring after the heating season. Each shutdown lasts on average 2 - 4 weeks. So it turns out that a city dweller for a year about a month or two washes in a basin. It's good who has a bath, and who has a shower stall ...

1. Choice of storage water heater.

First of all, we determine the volume of the tank.
For our family of three, 30 liters are enough. True, it also happens that if someone decided to warm up a little, and used more water, then the rest have to wait about 20 - 30 minutes until the next 30 liters are heated.

Now we choose the design, and in what version the water heater will be: vertical or horizontal, flat or round, elongated or square, classic white or any other suitable color.

But, again, in order to choose a design and performance, you need to decide on the location of the tank. Typically, a water heater is installed in the toilet above the toilet. However, if you have a combined bathroom, then place the tank so that it fits into the design of the bathroom, does not take up the necessary space and does not interfere.

2. Installation.

Installation is simple and does not take much time.
Here you will need a hammer drill - if concrete, or an impact drill - if brick.
Drill or winder drill with a diameter of 10mm, and two anchor bolts.
We do the markings, drill, drive the anchors and hang the water heater.

3. Connecting the water heater to the water supply.

We will consider two connection schemes: the first is when you make repairs, and the water heater is initially installed permanently. The second is when repairs are just taking place or are not expected in the near future, but you want hot water. By the way, according to the second scheme, the tank worked for me for almost 6 years, until the repair was finally made.

In general, the connection diagram for a water heater is very, very simple.
It is connected in parallel to the domestic water supply system: inlet to a cold water pipe, and an outlet to a hot water pipe.

Let's take a look at the diagram.
When to the apartment hot water comes in- no water heater needed. It is cut off from the apartment water supply system by valves №3 and №4 , that is, in normal operation, these valves are closed. Cold and hot water circulates through the pipes as expected.

Now we will consider the scheme when the central water supply is turned off, and hot water does not enter to the apartment.

We turn on the water heater.
For this close inlet valve №1 on hot water, and we open valve №3 and №4 ... We supply 220 Volt power to the water heater, and wait about 40-50 minutes (depending on the capacity of the water heater) until the water in the tank heats up to the set temperature. As the water warms up, we use it as usual.

As hot water is used, the same amount of cold water enters the tank, where cold and hot water are mixed. When the amount of cold exceeds the amount of hot, the water in the tank will become warm, and you will have to wait a little for it to heat up.

Now consider temporary water heater installation diagram.
In this case, we need: 2 tees, 2 flexible hoses for connecting water, a fum tape and a plug with a cord. Cord to be enough to the nearest outlet.

First of all, we decide on the place of installation of the water heater. It can be fixed on the wall, or you can simply put it on the floor, or put it away somewhere.
When we have decided on the installation site, we measure the length from the water heater fittings to the nearest mixer. We purchase two flexible hoses of approximately the same length.

We remove the mixer and screw tees in its place.

Wrap all threaded connections with fum tape..
Do no more than 3 turns.

Now we put the mixer in place, but already in the tee. Well, we screw the hose from the water heater into the upper part of the tee. As you can see, everything is simple.

Advice... First, assemble the connection diagram to the tee in the store, so that you do not run around and do not change a part that does not fit.

When hot water is given, and if the tank bothers you, you can turn it off and remove it until the next time. And screw the plug into the vacant space in the tee.

I must also say about safety valve that comes with the tank. In the diagrams, it is indicated under №5 ... This is such a necessary element, without which it is impossible for a water heater to work.

As we know, water expands when heated. And since water is an incompressible medium, then when heated, the water will expand, thereby creating pressure on the walls of the tank, as well as on the inlet and outlet pipes. The water has to go somewhere.

So, if there was no safety valve, then when a certain excess pressure is reached, the water would simply burst the tank. When the valve is standing, the maximum allowable pressure created by water is released through this valve.
The safety valve itself is set to a certain maximum pressure, upon reaching which it is triggered. Therefore, if you notice that water is dripping from the valve, do not be alarmed, this means that it is dumping too much.

4. We supply voltage to the water heater.

For a water heater, it is advisable to extend a separate 220 volt power line.

The figure shows a part of the driveway of high-rise buildings of an old building (copied from his own). The following are added to the driveway or to your dashboard: RCD - QF2, circuit breaker - SF1 and zero block N1.

Remember. Zero block N1 has nothing to do with common zero.

The following figure shows a diagram with vanishing... That is, you will zero on the body of the driveway flap, thereby, forming third conductor required for the correct operation of the RCD.

These two schemes for connecting a water heater are used in high-rise buildings of an old building (system TN-C). But, which one to use - you decide... I personally have not installed an RCD, although I am thinking about it, but I have not yet decided on the scheme.

Be sure to read the articles: and. And only after reading these articles, choose according to which scheme you will connect the water heater.

Well, the electrical circuit for houses of modern construction (system TN-S). Perfect connection. I think everything is clear here too.

Yes, I almost forgot. The power cable is led directly from the panel to the water heater, and does not start into any junction boxes.

Now you can easily install and connect a water heater to the home water supply system, and also supply it with a supply voltage of 220 volts.
Good luck!

Each user can, if desired, independently connect the water heater to the water supply, the diagram of which is attached in the product passport. To understand how to properly connect the device to the home water supply network, it is enough to study the selection of heated water from the tank and follow the instructions in accordance with the diagram. The procedure is not particularly complicated, and it can be done even alone, unless installing a water heater on the wall with your own hands will require outside help.

The principle of taking water from the tank

There is one correct scheme for connecting a storage water heater, taking into account the peculiarities of its design and allowing, if necessary, to quickly empty the tank. This need arises for the following reasons:

  • planned cleaning of the tank and heating element from scale;
  • the occurrence of a malfunction;
  • moving or replacing the device with a new one;
  • emptying the water heater in the country or in a house with periodic heating in winter.

The connection of the water heater to the water supply system, the scheme of its installation and placement should take into account that water is taken from the upper zone of the tank. This is due to the fact that the water is the hottest at the top, and the cold flow is replenished to the lower zone if there is a draw-off in the DHW system. The selection takes place through a vertical tube, the cut of which is located exactly in the upper zone.

It should not be allowed that the water from the tank could return to the cold water supply system, therefore, the connection of the boiler to the water supply is carried out through a check valve. If the pressure in the network drops as a result of the shutdown of the water, the valve will not allow the contents of the tank to flow back into the pipe.

As a result of the standard connection of the boiler to the water supply, it cannot be quickly emptied by opening a hot water tap. Even unscrewing the hot water pipe from the fitting will not have an effect, since the water intake is too high, and there is a check valve on the cold one. The problem of draining is solved by a simple diagram of connecting the water heater to the water supply system, which is assembled at the stage of installing the device.

What is required for installation?

Before installing an electric or gas boiler, it is necessary to allocate a suitable place for it, taking into account the following points:

  • placement of a water heater in an apartment or a private house should be done taking into account ease of use and maintenance;
  • it must be foreseen that when emptying or repairing the apparatus, a significant part of the water may spill onto the floor;
  • it is convenient to connect the water heater on your own when the water supply and electrical network passes nearby and in the same room;
  • do-it-yourself installation and connection of a gas boiler involves connecting a pipeline supplying natural gas to the room.

Based on the listed conditions, the installation and connection of a storage water heater can be performed in the following rooms of a private house or apartment:

  • kitchen - above the sink;
  • bathroom - above the bathroom;
  • boiler room - above the tiled floor.

Before deciding how to connect the boiler to the water supply, you need to hang it from the wall. To complete all work, you will need an electric drill with an impact function (or hammer drill), carbide-tipped drills and a standard set of locksmith tools, including a gas and adjustable wrench. The boiler connection diagram is assembled from the following elements and materials:

  • non-return valve with a safety one in one body (as a rule, it comes with a boiler);
  • bronze tee DN 15 (1/2 ");
  • ball valve DN 15 (1/2 ") - 3 pcs., 2 of them - with American;
  • pipes for connection (usually metal-polymer);
  • FUM tape, flax or a special thread for sealing joints.

There is also an electrical diagram for connecting the boiler, according to which it is necessary to purchase differential circuit breakers for a current of 16 A (2 pcs.), A socket and a plug with an earthing contact, as well as a power cable of the required length. The connection of the apparatus operating on natural gas is carried out by means of a gas hose.

Self-assembly of the system

The procedure begins with the wall mounting of the device, and after that the question of how to connect the storage water heater is decided. Since the boiler has a significant weight, it is better to fix it with an assistant. During installation, standard fasteners and anchor bolts or other devices are usually used if the wall is wooden or is a frame sheathed with plasterboard.

To connect a water heater with your own hands to the water supply network, turn off the water supply in the house and follow the instructions:

  1. Screw the tee to the cold water supply fitting (it is colored blue), and to it - a standard check valve (it is also a safety valve).

  2. Connect a ball valve to the tee without an American. For easy emptying, a 90 ° elbow with a hose connection can be screwed onto it.
  3. Place a ball valve with an American valve below the check valve. Install the same on the hot water supply branch (marked in red on the water heater).
  4. Connect the installed fittings to the cold and hot water supply system.

If the boiler was installed with your own hands in a boiler room or another place where there are no sanitary appliances under the apparatus, then the connection of the safety valve must be connected to the sewer outlet with a flexible pipe.

In the absence of a sewerage system, the tube is lowered into a transparent plastic bottle or canister. During the operation of the unit, the heated water expands, and its excess slowly exits through the spout of the safety valve.

Thanks to the assembled connection diagram, the boiler can be easily emptied through a tee with a valve. Before the drain, the cold water cut-off tap is closed, and the hot one opens. You also need to open hot water at the nearest mixer, a maximum of 2 liters will flow out from there. Then the tap on the tee opens, and from there there is a drain, the place of water in the tank is taken by the air entering through the mixer. Filling the container is easier: you need to open the cold shut-off valve and wait until water runs out of the previously opened mixer. Be sure to close the valve on the tee first.

Reading time ≈ 5 minutes

You can connect the boiler to the water supply on your own. For safety reasons, some of the work should be entrusted to professionals. Another - to do it yourself, saving on plumbing services.

The process of how to properly connect the boiler can be divided into several key stages. If you have already purchased the equipment and stocked up with installation tools, proceed according to the following diagram.

Selecting the location of the boiler

Before connecting a boiler in an apartment, think about the best place to install the unit, taking into account the following points:

  • The water in the device must not freeze even in winter;
  • The distance of the unit to the draw-off point should be as small as possible. With a significant separation of the water supply point, it is worth installing several devices;
  • The device should be located near the cold and hot water fittings to facilitate the process of supplying equipment;
  • Before connecting the boiler, make sure that there is enough space between it and the wall for future maintenance of the unit;
  • The wall chosen for the placement of the equipment must be of high strength: capable of withstanding the weight of the heavy unit with water.

Important! Plasterboard structures cannot cope with loads from the weight of boilers.

Preparatory work

You can do all the preparatory work with your own hands:

  1. Mark the wall with a tape measure, keeping in mind every centimeter. You need to decide on the distance between the ceiling and the nearest walls to the mountings. should be in line with the floor and ceiling surface;
  2. To make holes, use a puncher;
  3. Screw the anchors for fixing the water heater into the holes.

We connect the boiler to electricity

To connect the boiler to electricity, you need "separate 220V". The equipment must be grounded. The power supply will be provided with a three-core cable. It is necessary to decide on the cross-section of the wire, taking into account the power of the equipment.

The cable must have double insulation and copper conductors. The green-yellow core will allow the boiler to be grounded. Grounding must be carried out continuously to the grounding terminal of the unit socket from the building of the floor switchboard or from the grounding bus of the apartment switchboard.

Important! Do not use metal structures or water pipes to ground equipment. Do not install boiler plugs near open water.

A two-pole circuit breaker can be used to protect the supply line to the unit. Food should be allocated to a separate group. With the help of an RCD, the use of technology can be made safe for humans. The latter must be one step less than the former.

The degree of protection of the socket housing must be at least IP 44. Installation of the socket is allowed at a minimum distance of 50 cm from the heater, and above the connection point of water supply structures. The electric cable supplying the boiler must be walled up into the wall or continued openly in a corrugation / pipe that does not support combustion.

Important! If you have no experience with an electrician, you should entrust the connection of the boiler to the power supply to professionals. It's about your safety.

We connect the water heater to the water supply

You can correctly connect the boiler to the water supply in one of the following ways:

1. Unscrew the head of the shower hose, connect the latter to the cold water inlet of the water heater. Set the mixer switch to the "shower" mode, open the valve, hot water will start dispensing.

If you select tap mode with the mixer switch, cold water will start to bypass the unit. As soon as the centralized water supply is restored, follow the reverse process: unscrew the hose from the equipment, screw the watering can to its original place.

Important! Look at our photos and videos, where a detailed diagram of the boiler connection is given.

2. Use copper or steel fittings. Choose metal pipes for hot water supply, and the device will last an order of magnitude longer. Connect the heater pipe marked “inlet” to the valve (usually supplied with the boiler). Using copper tubing or flexible hose, connect the cold line pipe to the tap.

To ensure that the internal joints of the metal elements of the device are not broken, use an adjustable or wrench, holding the couplings of the outlet and inlet nozzles when fastening the connections of the device. Take the triple adapter with heater connection (marked “outlet”) and attach the shower head by spout.

Important! It is strictly forbidden to use used eyeliner. In addition, shut-off valves must not be installed on the outlet of the heater, otherwise the free flow of water will not be possible.

3. Connection to the water supply is carried out by means of fum-tape, tee and outlet of the washing machine. In order to regulate the pressure and temperature at the outlet of the apparatus, shut-off valves are mounted after the tee. Do not forget to leave free access to the valve. If you are installing using flexible hoses, use clips to secure them.

We equip the point of consumption

When installing a separate copper cable from the heater towards the meter, consider the following guidelines:

  • Determine the location of "zero" (blue wire) and "ground phase" (red wire);
  • Mount the shield on the side of the device, snap on the machine and pass the cable straight through it;
