VIII. Homework.

Write an essay-essay on the topic: "Do we need Timurovites now?"

Recently, I read with great interest the book by Arkady Gaidar "Timur and his team". The writer lived a very difficult life, he participated in the civil war, was a brave man, with a sense of his own dignity, a man of honor and word. Therefore, the main characters of his works are bold, fair, always ready to help. The story "Timur and his team", in my opinion, is the most beautiful work of Arkady Gaidar, it tells about examples of true friendship, mutual assistance and selflessness.

The protagonist of the story is Timur - "a simple boy", "proud and ardent", brave, sympathetic, decisive in achieving his goals, noble in his motives. I admire this hero and how he managed to organize the boys for good deeds. Their team is a workshop of kindness, where everyone seeks to surround the loved ones with care, tries to help and protect families in which fathers and brothers went to the army. But most of all I like the fact that the guys are modest, they do good deeds secretly, do not strive for fame, do not want to be praised. And this behavior deserves a lot of respect. But Timur's uncle and Zhenya's sister do not like the mystery surrounding their game. Timur disagrees with them, he is sure that they are doing everything right, the main thing is that everyone is happy. And I believe that humility is the true companion of kindness. Some famous person said: "The strength of virtue is in its modesty." A humble person always has a big fire in his soul. How I would like to be a "Timurovite"! Help loved ones, give happiness to others, be close in difficult times.

But there are also negative characters in the work - this is the Kvakin gang, which stole fruit, offended the weak, erased the stars that Timur's team drew on the houses where the families of the Red Army soldiers lived. But most of all from the gang I do not like the bully named Figure. He is cruel, stupid, heartless. The figure is ready to offend the weak, to beat the younger. Even his close friend Kvakin does not like him for this. Timur does not respect such people, he tries to destroy "evil". Thus, at the end of the story, “the Timurovites show all the inhabitants of the village who did the dirty trick, the hooligans fell into a trap and were punished.

And even today, in the 21st century, we can meet "Kwakins" who always strive to offend, offend, hit, commit a disgusting act and rejoice at it, but even such cruel people prefer not to get involved with active good.

I liked the book because it describes real friendship, love for others, the guys help everyone disinterestedly, regardless of whether they are relatives, friends or strangers. And this book is also wonderful because the main characters in it are simple girls and boys, just like me and my classmates. I so wish we had our own kind team!

Gaidar wrote his story "Timur and His Team" with the dream of a new society, new relationships between people, selfless help, friendship and love. And the book teaches him a lot! It seems to me that it is still relevant now! Timur managed to organize the boys for good deeds, they were busy and they had no time or desire for bad deeds. And next to the guys were older comrades in the person of parents, sisters, brothers, who by their example led them. This was a growing generation of patriots, future defenders of the Motherland, because soon there was a war ... And even the same bully Kvakin will be the first to defend the country from enemies, because he grew up in that patriotic environment. The book always caused me a feeling of light envy and regret that I was not the same Zhenya) After all, the girls, probably, were all in love with Timur! good luck

About his future grandson Yegorka, only in the story his name was Mishka Kvakin.

A. Gaidar (1904-1941) has a wonderful story "Timur and his team". It was written in 1940. It was a troubling time. The Second World War was already going on in European countries. The threat of an impending war is hanging over our country as well.

The writer Gaidar wanted to create such a children's book that would tell readers what to do to be useful to the Motherland in a harsh wartime. It is not without reason that during the Great Patriotic War many thousands of Soviet children organized "Timurov detachments" not only on the territory of our country, but even in the occupied areas, helping the Red Army and the families of front-line soldiers.

The story takes place in a dacha village near Moscow. The main characters are teenage guys. They are divided into two warring camps: one is led by Timur, the other by Mishka Kvakin.

Timur united around himself those peers who really wanted to be useful, wanted to help the families of the military, the defenders of the Motherland. This desire was manifested not in words, but in deeds. The guys did good deeds: chopped wood, carried water, rolled logs, made swings ... Timur and his friends helped not only physically, but also provided moral support. So they consoled a little girl whose father had died. The pioneer team helped exactly those who needed help. They did all this completely unselfishly, secretly. They didn't need praise. On the gates of the houses of the families of the Red Army soldiers, they painted five-pointed stars as signs of their secret patronage.

A. Gaidar singles out Timur as their leader. He shows him the way everyone would like to see himself: decisive, courageous, brave, honest, fair, wonderful comrade. Timur has high spiritual qualities, he is ready to selflessly sacrifice his interests for the sake of others.

For this he is respected not only by friends, but also by enemies - a gang of hooligans led by ataman Mishka Kvakin. This gang spends time during the day playing cards "on pokes" and "clicks", and at night makes "raids on the gardens of civilians, not sparing those houses on which there is a sign - a red star", and even those where the star with a black border ".

Timurovites do not like the ugly deeds of the Kwakins. They give them an ultimatum. Gaidar in his story shows the struggle of strong and just children against the cowardly, greedy and faint-hearted.

I think that the book "Timur and his team" was written not only for children of the military generation. Good human qualities were and will always be appreciated. The story teaches us to be friends and work in a team. However, this is not the only wonderful book by Gaidar about children, I read and wrote a review-essay on Gaidar's book "The Fate of a Drummer", I also really liked it.
