When will the bridge across the Kerch Strait be completed. Kerch bridge to Crimea: state and progress of construction

> "url =" https://yugohod.ru/marshrut-cherez-krymskij-most/ ">

The itinerary of our trip: Krasnodar - Crimean bridge - Memorial of military glory (Mithridat, observation deck) - Karalar natural park - Memorial to the Eltigen landing party (Observation platform overlooking the bridge) - back to Krasnodar

Distance Krasnodar - Kerch over the bridge: 245 km

Travel on the Crimean bridge is free, the road is excellent, the speed limit is 90 km / h. Stopping on the bridge is prohibited, a fine according to traffic rules.

We expected that we would look at the sea all the way, but it is difficult to see it because of the road barriers that block the entire view from the car (there will probably be something to see from the bus), but the impression was that we almost always drove over the ground ... Firstly, because the bridge is partly "on the islands", and secondly, the "bumpers" obstruct the sea, as mentioned above. On the left, on the way to Kerch, the railway section of the bridge is being built.

2. How to get to the bridge from Krasnodar by car and what to see first

Surely, soon everything will be all right, but a few days after the opening of the bridge, we were able to find our way only on Yandex.Maps (navitel and maps.me failed). But this turned out to be quite enough to come to Kerch.

To get to the Crimean bridge, we simply head for Taman, and then follow the signs on the road, believe me, it is difficult to turn the wrong way there. It is so difficult that having arrived in Kerch for the first time across the bridge, on the way to the Memorial to the Eltigen Landing Force, we did not find an exit from the road and had to go back to the other side and turn around there, since the U-turn on the bridge had not yet been completed.

Now the route to Crimea through the Crimean bridge from Krasnodar takes about 3.5 hours!
This is an incredible opportunity to travel, both from Krasnodar Territory to Crimea, and from Crimea to Krasnodar Territory. Kerch will turn from a "port" city into the main tourist haven of 2018 - that's for sure, there are cars with numbers 23, 93, 123 everywhere. ...
General's beaches, Cape Kazantip, memorials, Karalar natural park, mud volcanoes and many more places that are definitely worth visiting if you are here for the first time.

2.1. Memorial of military glory in the town of Mithridat (Observation no. 1)

Memorial of military glory and memory of those who fell in the fight against the Nazi invaders

The already famous bench "Crimean Bridge" is located on its territory.

This place is a must-see, as it offers an extraordinary view of the bridge, the sea and the city of Kerch. The summit of Mount Mithridates is located at an altitude of about 100m, but this is quite enough to feel at the highest point in the area. In the direction of movement from the Krasnodar Territory, this location will be on the right side of the bridge.

2.2. Memorial to the Eltigen landing (Observation number 2)

This memorial is located on the left side of the bridge, if you move from the Krasnodar Territory.

In clear weather, you can also see the bridge from here

and then, if you go down to the sea, there is a sandy beach, a mass grave, and in the same place, on a pedestal, there is a restored motorboat that took part in the landing operation (Kerch-Eltigen). The "Motobot" memorial itself looks very modest, but, undoubtedly, its significance is above all.

2.3. Karalar Natural Park, General's beaches, how to get there

The route to the reserve starts from the side with. Gold. From the lookout there are two roads to the village: you can go along the Tavrida highway (R-260), and then turn (bad road) to the village. Gold, or go along the road 35Н-366 (as it is called on the map), it passes by the airfield, then through Chistopolye, the road there is better, but still "not a fountain". Having overcome this segment of the route, we are almost at the goal, we are approaching the General's beaches.

Many dirt roads intertwine in the steppe area, but they all lead to the coast of the Azov Sea. The route through the natural park is marked with signs and is divided into an automobile part and a pedestrian part. I want to say right away that in order to get there in a city sedan, you need to thoroughly study most of the roads, otherwise you will have to leave the car in the steppe and continue on foot. Sometimes there are large stones on the road and there is no way to pass, but we saw cars on the beaches (not only jeeps), which means that there are passable roads, you just need to know them. In our case, we left the car at the first serious obstacle and walked about 7 km (round trip), what we saw there - see the video below.
The general's beaches themselves are secluded bays with stone piles, more than 30 km long. An incredibly beautiful place, you will immediately want to stay here and spend the night in a tent.

3. Video about the Crimean bridge and the nearest sights of Kerch

We managed to shoot a little, on video: the road across the bridge, views from observation platforms, memorials of military glory, poppy fields on the way to the Karalarsky reserve, steep beaches, sea and sun - see for yourself!

It contains data on flights of various carriers. Here, for example, we can find out that you can fly from Simferopol to Sochi in just over an hour on a superjet (Sukhoi Superjet 100 plane) or take a bus (I don't know the name :)) in 15 hours - this, of course, is not the most a convenient route from Crimea, but there is one. But the road from Kerch to Anapa will take only about 4 hours - an excellent opportunity to go to the Krasnodar Territory from Crimea for the weekend.

Yandex Bus Schedule Timetables

Ticket prices change periodically, so we will not talk about it. The main thing is not to forget to select the type of transport in the search for which you want to see tickets.

Bus schedule on the Krymavtotrans website

The navigation here is not so well thought out, but there is a hotline phone, in case nothing is clear.
Now you can independently find out the bus schedule Krasnodar-Crimea, Crimea-Krasnodar, etc., as well as know where to find the ticket prices.

If you have any fresh and relevant information on the topic - write in the comments, do not hesitate. It will be very useful to know for other people looking for answers to their questions ↓

Maps have already been issued on which Crimea is part of Russia. This fact caused a wave of patriotism among the inhabitants of the peninsula. The Kerch Bridge on the Google map still has a schematic outline. Currently, construction is not yet completed, but it is proceeding at a rapid pace. Complete commissioning of the object is planned by 2018.

Where to build a bridge across the Kerch Strait: map

Not all residents of the country know yet where the bridge across the Kerch Strait is being built; the map can give an exact answer to this question. It is laid from the territory of the Krasnodar Territory from the Taman Peninsula. It can be seen that the bridge over the Kerch Strait on the map does not interfere with the operation of the ferry crossing. Currently, the platforms run on schedule, carrying road transport and tourist buses.

How the Crimean bridge across the Kerch Strait will connect the peninsula and the mainland, the map demonstrates firsthand. The total length of the structure is nineteen kilometers. Throughout it, an island is encountered, through which stripes will also be laid. The Kerch Bridge will be seen quite well from the satellite. It will also be reflected on the maps.

Bridge over the Kerch Strait on the map: plans for the construction of approaches

The diagram of the Kerch bridge on the map shows not only the entire length of the structure, but also the approaches to the object. It is planned to lay highways to the bridge from the Krasnodar Territory and the peninsula. The Kerch Bridge on the map of Russia is another achievement of the united people. The crossing is a logical continuation of the A-290 highway, which runs between Novorossiysk and Kerch. It also passes through Anapa.

The construction of the Kerch Bridge on the map connects the two regions. With the completion of the work, tourists will have the opportunity to freely ply between the Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory. The Azov and Black Seas will welcome new tourists. Kerch Bridge satellite photos allow you to see that it is no longer necessary to cross the border of Ukraine for the sake of visiting the resort.

The path between the resort areas will be significantly shortened. This is vividly demonstrated by the Kerch bridge from space, a photo of which can be seen right now. The approaches to the ferry and the renovation of the highways will be carried out shortly. This is included in the program for the reconstruction of roads in Crimea. The Kerch Bridge satellite view will appear in all its glory.

Work on new maps continues. Now the peninsula has become an integral part of the Russian Federation. The bridge across the Kerch Strait satellite photos will also be included in the overall picture of the territory of Russia. Every year the Crimea will receive more and more tourists. This will be facilitated by the availability of resorts. And to find the way to the destination will help the map of the Kerch Bridge satellite or in printed version.

Crimean bridge on maps

Let's say right away - we did not prepare much for the trip, it happened quite spontaneously. Therefore, during the trip, we had at our disposal a navigator with old data and a well-worn printed map of the Krasnodar Territory. Naturally, there was no trace of a bridge across the Kerch Strait on these maps.

I had to navigate on the spot - the language will bring to Kiev. Approaching the Taman Peninsula, in some village they asked how to get to the Crimean bridge. They explained to us. We entered the highway and followed the signs. It turned out to be very easy to navigate. And to make it even easier for you, we give cards. By the way, Yandex and Google have already added the Crimean Bridge to their mapping services.

And this is how we schematically tried to display the bridge and options for how to get to it in our old printed map:

Crimean bridge on Yandex.Maps:

Highway in the Krasnodar Territory

The scale of construction amazed us! In addition to the bridge itself, a new highway was built from scratch in the Krasnodar Territory at the entrance to it! Wide, flat, high-speed. Where wheat used to spike, where sunflowers pulled their heads to the sun, now cars are racing at full speed.

But! Here I would like to warn travelers. No cafes or gas stations have been built on the highway yet! All along the way we came across only one gas station, but that one was still closed (Lukoil). Therefore, it would be advisable to fill a full tank on the way to a new track.

Another point to which I would like to draw your attention! Do not follow the signs to the port "Kavkaz". There is a ferry going there. The bridge was laid in a different place - where the Tuzla spit is. Landmark - the city of Taman (we will drive past it).

Over the bridge with a breeze!

The highway through Taman smoothly flows into the Crimean bridge. You will not see any checkpoints, barriers, pay attention points (travel across the bridge is free). The following sign will notify about the beginning of the bridge:

Upon arrival in Crimea, many asked us: How's the bridge? We were more impressed by the tracks, but the feeling of “wow!” When we drove across the bridge itself did not happen: the sea and ships sailing along it are not visible, the arch-symbol of the bridge is quite small. There is no feeling that you are driving over a bridge. An ordinary road.

Photo: driving through the Crimean bridge

Construction continues!

So far, cars and tourist buses are driving across the bridge. In parallel to the road, railways are being laid - soon (in December 2019) trains will run across the Kerch Strait across the bridge. Freight transport is promised to be launched across the bridge in October 2018.

It seemed to us that this is due to the fact that the construction of the road is still going on: they are building new interchanges, expanding the roads. With heavy workload, huge traffic jams will arise on the unfinished track. Speaking of traffic jams. During the preparation of this article, we found a lot of photo ducks about traffic jams and colossal congestion on the Crimean bridge. So, in reality they do not exist (at least in August 2018).

Are there traffic jams on the Crimean bridge in 2018?

  • There are no traffic jams in front of the Crimean bridge.
  • There are no traffic jams on the Crimean bridge.
  • There are traffic jams after the Crimean bridge.

At the entrance to the Crimean bridge from the Krasnodar Territory there were no traffic jams. We also passed the bridge itself quickly, within the permissible speed - traffic jams in August 2018 on the Crimean bridge itself was not at all. But on the peninsula after the Crimean bridge got stuck - they are expanding the existing route, building new interchanges, the traffic is complicated. We do not know firsthand what the situation is today. We look forward to your comments at the bottom of the page 😉

In some areas we were moving extremely slowly, so when a sign appeared with the advice to make a detour through the village of Kamenskoye, we trusted and decided to drive the extra 10 kilometers to save time bypassing traffic jams. And here we would like to warn travelers again:
Do not take a detour to Kamenskoye! The road is awful there! Gravel, dust.

We were completely furious when we entered this road. Rather, it cannot be called expensive either. We dragged along it at a speed of 10 kilometers per hour for an hour and a half. As a result, they were exhausted and lost time. We were at a loss: why the Crimean Avtodor recommends this detour, although the normal road is not ready there yet!

But what is really worth doing is to go through Simferopol if you plan to relax in Yalta or Alushta. In that direction we drove along the coast (through Koktebel, Sudak) - it took longer in time (dizzying serpentine, tourists scurrying back and forth). Although the path through Simferopol is longer, there is a track, plains, the path runs to bypass the resort areas.

Simferopol and Kamenskoye are marked with a yellow tick on the map. By the way, thanks to the fact that we went through Kamenskoye and ended up in the town of Vladislavovka, we tasted the most delicious and fragrant peaches in the world for only 50 per kg. The man was selling peaches from his own garden there. And melons - honey. Even then, while vacationing in Crimea, we did not taste such delicious fruits! Probably, it was a reward for our one and a half hours of torment on this rocky track. And if so, then this is the sweetest reward in my life! Mmm ... I still remember her taste

Statistics

The way to Crimea is not a short one. We followed from the Yaroslavl region. The ultimate goal was Alushta. So, the total distance from Yaroslavl to Alushta is 2300 km. In that direction we covered this distance in 42 hours (we drove through the city of Azov, stopped for swimming and overnight in the village of Kuchugury on the Sea of Azov, then drove along the coast - through Feodosia, Koktebel, Sudak). 42 hours is the travel time, excluding the overnight stay). Back we followed Simferopol, Slavyansk-on-Kuban and Krasnodar. Travel time was 36 hours. We didn’t drive, but we hardly stood in traffic jams.

Alushta, Yalta

The purpose of our trip was to rest in Alushta with an excursion to Yalta. We were attracted by the southern coast of Crimea with its mountains, forests, clean pebble beaches. We visited the Alushta water park and the Aquarium with a rich collection of fish, the Valley of Ghosts and the filming locations of the film "Prisoner of the Caucasus".

In Yalta we went to the Swallow's Nest, climbed to the top of Ai-Petri and took a ride on the cable car.

In general, I liked the rest. Only the weather let us down - for 3 whole days there was a storm, the sea raged, throwing evil waves onto the beach. It was impossible to swim. But, they say, during a storm, the sea air is twice as useful.

And what the air is in the mountains (we rented a house there) !!! It is saturated with mountain freshness. The wind blew warm without a storm. There was no humidity and stuffiness - an incredibly comfortable climate in Crimea! This is probably why tourists love it so much. And now we are also in love with Crimea!

Many Russians note that the Crimean bridge across the Kerch Strait is a real construction project of the 21st century. There has never been a similar construction work in the history of Russia! Below you can find out all the details and features of construction, the latest news, photos, characteristics of the future structure will be presented.

What is Crimean Bridge?

The bridge, which will connect the Taman Peninsula of mainland Russia with that in the east of Crimea, promises to be a discovery in the coming years. This is because it will provide an opportunity for continuous communication between the Russian Federation and Taurida - rail and road.

Where is the bridge on the map?

It will be located in the Kerch Strait, passing from Taman through the spit and the Tuzla island and going to the southern part of the city of Kerch, to the Nizhnyaya Tsementnaya Slobodka microdistrict. Here is the location on the map:

Open the map

Main characteristics

Reportedly, the total length of the structure will be 19 km, with bridges only on the Taman - Tuzla and Tuzla - Kerch sections, their length - 1.4 and 6.1 km, respectively. How many kilometers will it take to cross the Taman Peninsula and the Tuzla Spit? Based on the calculation - 5 and 6.5 km.

Briefly about the history of the first Kerch bridge

Of course, we could not ignore the fact that the current project of the Crimean Bridge is not the first. The idea to build it through arose even under the Russian Empire, at the beginning of the 20th century, however, attempts to implement it occurred only in 1942-1943, and not by Soviet, but by German developers, during the Second World War. But they did not manage to implement the developments: the Red Army launched a counteroffensive.

In 1944, the authorities of the USSR made a decision to build the Kerch railway bridge. Due to the relative simplicity of the design, work proceeded very quickly - at the end of the year, movement began here. Nevertheless, using simple techniques, using partially wooden piles and elements of spans, the leaders received a vulnerable structure, which quickly fell into disrepair.

The first Crimean bridge 1944

Other attempts were made, plans and projects were developed, but they were not implemented - in 1950, at the top of the Soviet Union, they decided to stop construction work and come to grips with the construction, through which both cargo and passenger ships reach Crimea to this day.

Yes, the Kerch Bridge is a complex project, both technically and ideologically. However, having implemented a competent approach to business, having analyzed in detail the features of the local landscape, it is possible to bring it to life, which is what Russian specialists are now doing. Very soon we are waiting for that very long-awaited moment of opening a new, truly grandiose transport hub, which will greatly increase the tourist flow by!

The idea of creating a transport passage to Crimea was revived along with the annexation of the peninsula to Russia in 2014. The implementation of this ambitious project will connect the Crimean region with the mainland of the state, will open up great opportunities for activating the tourism industry of Crimea, and Russians will have the right to visit the peninsula without having to cross.

Surely, every Russian is interested in the question of how the construction of the bridge to Crimea is going and when it will already be built. Now it is in full swing, and in this article, the very project of the Kerch bridge and its features are carefully studied.

History of the Kerch Bridge. In fact, the idea of the bridge arose long ago, back in the days of the Russian Empire, under Tsar Nicholas II. The initial sketch of the project was created back in 1910, but the bridge was not built due to the outbreak of the First World War.

Then they returned to the project of the bridge in the 30s, during the time of Stalin (which he built, in Malaya Sosnovka). Then the idea was reduced to the construction of a railway across the Kerch Strait, but the implementation of the bridge was prevented by the outbreak of World War II.
In 1944, in the shortest possible time, in seven months, a railway bridge was erected, which, however, was dismantled in 1945 due to damage to part of the supports by ice from the Sea of Azov.

Another sketch of the project, taking into account all the errors, was created in 1949, but it was also not implemented.

Russia and Ukraine actively discussed the creation of a transport crossing through the Kerch Strait in 2010-2013, a bilateral agreement was concluded. But the construction of the Kerch Bridge began after the Crimea became part of the Russian Federation.

This project is technically very difficult. A sketch of a bridge across the Kerch Strait with a total length of 19 kilometers across the Tuzla Spit was chosen from several options. The bridge will have 4 lanes of road with a speed of 120 km / h and 2 tracks for railway transport.

Length of the Kerch Bridge to Crimea

The carrying capacity of the bridge is up to forty thousand vehicles per day. It is stated that travel along the highway will be free. Although in the Russian-speaking segment of the Internet, there is a lot of controversy as to whether the passage on the bridge will be free for motorists. Every now and then there are opinions and rumors that they will still charge some kind of fare.

The exact answer can be found out when traffic starts across the Kerch Bridge, but, judging by indirect evidence, it will still be free. For example, this is evidenced by the fact that no funds from foreign investors were involved in the construction. The entire project is funded by the state. This may have been done specifically to preserve free travel for cars.

The Stroygazmontazh company of the well-known Russian businessman Arkady Rotenberg has been appointed as the contractor for the construction of this grandiose project.

Before choosing this company, at least 70 proposals were considered. It was necessary to find a contractor who met all the requirements in terms of construction time, cost and contract performance guarantees.

This company has good experience for the construction of such a project. Stroygazmontazh is the main contractor of Gazprom for the construction of gas pipelines.

Also, Stroygazmontazh LLC has the right to attract subcontractors: it is known that certain negotiations were conducted with companies from South Korea to attract professionals to work.

Construction cost

How much is the bridge to Crimea? The Kerch Bridge will be one of the most expensive bridges in the world due to the complexity of the construction. The initial cost was 50 billion rubles, but then it increased due to the combination of road and rail lines. Also, the increase in value was influenced by the weakening of the Russian currency against the US dollar.

In the winter of 2015, following the auction results, the maximum cost of work was set - it amounted to 228.3 billion rubles.

The construction of a transport crossing across the strait is funded by the state with funds from the National Welfare Fund.

Length and width of the Kerch bridge

The bridge is being built along the Tuzla spit. This will allow the use of a small area of land in the strait to strengthen the entire structure. To keep within the time frame, construction is being carried out in several places at once.

The length of the bridge to Crimea is 19 km. Among them:

  • 7 km: part of the sea from the Tuzla spit to the island of the same name;
  • 6.5 km: land area on the island;
  • 6.1 km: section of the sea from the island to Kerch.

The width of the bridge will consist of four lanes of 3.75 m each, shoulder 3.75 m wide and 0.75 m of a reinforced shoulder.

Depth of the Kerch Strait at the construction site of the bridge

The width of the Kerch Strait is from 4.5 to 15 km. The maximum depth is 18 meters.

The support piles will be anchored to stable bedrock to reinforce the entire structure. The piles will be buried to a depth of 90 m.

For this will be used:

  • reinforced concrete supports for immersion up to 16 m in the Kerch region;
  • piles made of pipes with a reinforced concrete core for immersion up to 94 m in the main section;
  • supports made of reinforced concrete for immersion up to 45 meters in the area of the Taman Peninsula.

Delivery and completion of the construction of the Kerch bridge

Undoubtedly, everyone is looking forward to building a bridge across the Kerch Strait. This large-scale project is planned to be implemented as soon as possible (in four years). According to the plan, the labor movement can be launched already in December 2018. The final deadline for the completion of the Kerch Bridge is June 2019.

Bridge over the Kerch Strait on the map

It will be possible to get to the Crimea peninsula from the territory of Russia through the new bridge in the Krasnodar Territory, on the Taman Peninsula.

Kerch Strait and the bridge to Crimea on the map:

In addition to the bridge itself, approaches to it will also be built: road and railways so that residents and guests of Russia can freely move from Crimea to the mainland of the state, and vice versa. These approaches will be part of the A-290 Novorossiysk-Kerch highway, which runs through Anapa.

From the side, the length of the approach will be 22 km, from the Taman Peninsula - 40 km.

The construction and commissioning of the Kerch Bridge will open up great prospects in the field of domestic tourism in Russia. To visit Kerch, Simferopol, get a good tan on the Black Sea coast, swim and just travel through the wild places of Crimea, you will not need to prepare a passport. It will be enough to buy a train ticket or get into your car - and you can go on a trip!
