No less interesting trips in the mountains can be made and rising through the old village of Lepodokaria. Peteria, as has already been said - an ideal place to combine beach and excursion recreation. In addition to the mountains, here you can see, for example, beautiful ancient fortress Platamonasa. She is located on the hill between the village of Platamonas and Panteleimon Paralias, from these villages here you can drive by car or just walk. The fortress is open to visits for a small fee.
From Katerini or Leptokaria is easy to get to the ruins of an ancient dion.

If you save and live on fast food and vegetables / fruits, you can do much more modest amounts, it all depends on your desires and opportunities.
When to relax in Pieria?
