Another feature that is especially characteristic of the southwestern American country is the drawings made in the Indian technique and on the motives of the Indian epics. However, there is a lot in common: this is, first of all, the use of exclusively wood as a building and finishing material. The walls from the log house are not subjected to additional finishing, but nowadays it is treated with special compounds that protect against negative changes and fires.
It is almost obligatory to have a stove in the house, which was called the queen of the hut. Instead of a stove, the center of a modern interior in the style of Russian country can be a fireplace, but always whitewashed or faced with tiles.
A prerequisite is the presence of wooden furniture. In the kitchen, at a massive and solid dining table, it is worth putting not chairs, but benches and stools. Along the perimeter of the kitchen at the height of a person's height, you can hang wooden shelves and place various utensils in the Russian style on them. The kitchen-dining room in a modern house, decorated in Russian country, plays the role of a Russian upper room. And in the upper room, in addition to a table with benches, a stove and shelves, there was also a red corner with icons and lamps.
