An overview of the best energy-saving heating systems for a private house. Panel heating - comfort, reliability and beauty! Thermal panel

Heating has always been a serious and responsible business, and nowadays it has acquired another of the most important aspects - efficiency, when heating, for example, a private residential building of 250-300 m2, the issue of operating costs takes on specific outlines and forces you to approach the choice of heating devices very carefully.

Features of ceramic batteries

The most important feature of ceramic heaters is the symbiosis of a convector and an infrared heater. There is a heating element between the front and rear panels. The front panel, which is a flat smooth surface, is made of glass ceramics. The heat dissipation of this material is very high, and the radiator device gives the ceramic panel the function of an infrared emitter. The back panel, facing the glass-ceramic front panel, is covered with a heat storage layer and also reflects heat into the room, but like a convector.

The principle of operation of ceramic radiators is air convection in its natural form in conjunction with infrared radiation. The radiator connected to the power grid heats up, the plates of the panels release heat calories and infrared rays into the room air. The heated air rises up, the colder one goes down, thus an exchange takes place, saturating the room with heat.

About technical characteristics

The main and distinctive feature of ceramic batteries is their thermal power. When calculating the need for heat, a standard value of 100 W of thermal energy per 1 m2 of room area is taken when installing conventional radiators, but if we are talking about ceramic, then the standard indicator is 50 W / m2, that is, the saving is 50%.

Ceramic battery device

The power consumption of ceramics is 0.375 kW / h at a heating temperature of + 80 ° C (for comparison: an oil heater takes 1.5-2 kW / h). At the same time, the size of the ceramic panel is 0.6 mx 0.6 mx 0.12 m. One panel will freely heat an area of 10 m2 in the absence of other heat sources.

Ceramic radiators in a standard design are white or black, but the front part can be designed in the form of a picture. Problem-free operation is guaranteed for 5 years. Such heating devices do not dry the air; a humidifier on the battery is not required for them, as for other types of radiators.

About the advantages of ceramic heaters

None of the types of heaters have such a number of advantages:

  • profitability (twice as profitable as oil);
  • the thermal effect is felt quickly (the temperature of the plates is + 80 ° C);
  • compactness;
  • the ability to place not only on the wall, but also on the ceiling;
  • stylish appearance;
  • do not dry out the air;
  • absolute safety (allowed for childcare facilities);
  • work silently;
  • do not emit any odors;
  • equipped with thermostats;
  • network congestion is not perceived;
  • suitable for both residential and office or other premises;
  • with a guarantee of 5 years, the service life is up to 30 years;
  • made from environmentally friendly materials.

Ceramic batteries are capable of completely replacing the heating system of a residential building or complementing the comfort of living in any apartment that is not heated enough, while it is not necessary to lay a pipeline system, fill it with a coolant, purchase a boiler and issue permits.

Ceramic batteries can completely replace the heating system of the whole house

If heating devices that absorb oxygen and dry the air work in the living room, you can use the novelty and hang the ceramic air humidifier on the battery. This is a great way to do without another electrical appliance and increase the percentage of humidity. It works like this: a ceramic vessel is filled with water and attached to a radiator; water evaporates and saturates the air with moisture.

You can choose a ceramic humidifier for a battery in any shape that is closest in style and color, such a device will not only not spoil the interior, on the contrary, it will add charm. The quality of the water does not matter for this purpose, the container is not dangerous either for children or for animals.

Ceramic batteries have different designs for every taste

The best ceramic battery models

The best in this sector can be considered the "Hybrid" panels from the manufacturer "GIBROTEK" LLC (Ukraine) - stylish look, power 0.37 kW / h, temperature +80 degrees. Service life - 30 years with 5-year warranty service. The price is quite acceptable, with an individual development of a design in the form of a picture, the cost is 50% more expensive.

You can buy a ceramic battery TEPLOCERAMIK (Ukraine), it will also be a good choice. Such panels are marked with PEPK and are sold with a capacity of 0.27 kW / h to 0.5 kW / h, with a heating area from 4 m2 to 10 m2. The cost for the same characteristics is identical to the "Hybrid" panels, but inferior in design.

Ceramic radiators should be purchased from specialized stores.

Thermoglass radiators, exclusively in ceiling design, are offered in Russia under the PION brand. The cost of such devices is half as much as the previous options.

Slightly different in design, there are ceramic radiators bsdt model R500 / 95a, made in China. They are less economical than Ukrainian models, the power consumption is 500 W / h, the cost is approximately the same level.

You can find the right model and buy a ceramic heater in the online store, saving not only money, but also time.

Outcome

It must be admitted that the latest models of efficient and economical ceramic radiators are indeed superior to all previous generations of radiators.... Compact, suitable for mounting both on walls and ceilings, quickly heating the air, equipped with thermostats, ceramic radiators can serve as autonomous heating of a residential building and an additional source of heat in case of insufficient heating of the apartment.

Decorated in the form of a picture, such devices will decorate and complement the interior of the house, and the energy saving finally outweighs the scale in the direction of choosing these high-quality heating devices.

This video describes in detail about ceramic radiators.

Traditionally, the operation of heating systems is based on an increase in the temperature of the air in the room, through which the surrounding objects are heated. The principle of operation of infrared panels is different: the energy they distribute resembles natural radiation from the sun, flame or fireplace.

How infrared panels work

It is no secret that the heated area is much larger than the surface of heating devices. The high speed of heating a room with infrared heating panels is explained by the fact that the energy emitted by them is much better absorbed by the surface of objects. If we compare with conventional heaters, then in this case the temperature in the room rises 4 times faster.

It has been noticed that furniture accumulates radiant heat especially well, which, after accumulating energy, itself turns into a source of heating. To avoid heat leakage outside, it is not recommended to direct the rays of infrared heating panels onto the surface of walls, ceilings, doors and windows. Another useful quality of devices of this type is that they do not burn out oxygen.

It is for this reason that they are used to maintain the optimum temperature in such rooms:

  • Apartments.
  • Private houses.
  • Trading platforms.
  • Factory halls with high ceilings.
  • Warehouse premises.
  • Open areas.

The advantages of such heating

When compared to conventional heating systems and domestic heaters, infrared heating panels have a number of advantages:

  1. The temperature in the heated room can be raised up to +50 degrees.
  2. The ability to maintain a comfortable temperature and humidity regime.
  3. During the operation of electric thermal panels, convection air currents that raise dust do not occur.

Devices of this type can perform not only the role of auxiliary heating, complementing traditional radiators. They are often used as the main heating devices. To determine the most suitable heating mode for a dwelling, the initially installed heating system, the materials used to build the house, the features of the climatic zone, etc. are taken into account.

When choosing the optimal model of infrared heating panels, it is recommended to consider the following points:

  • The device is usually equipped with a special thermostat, which makes it easier to maintain an optimal temperature regime and the level of electrical energy consumption.
  • The difference between the air temperature near the ceiling and the floor is reduced to a minimum.
  • Such heating does not require bulky piping, radiators and boilers.
  • The infrared heating panel can be installed anywhere (wall, ceiling) without losing the level of efficiency.
  • From above, the heater allows laying tiles, installing plasterboard structures and gluing wallpaper.
  • These devices can be used for 50 years or more, in a regime of increased fire and environmental safety.

What are infrared heating panels?

All products of this type are divided into two large groups:

  1. Hinged... Most often they are equipped with a colored metal case heated by means of an infrared emitter. The device is powered by an ordinary socket. Both a separate and a mounted type of installation are used.
  2. Built-in... The basis of such a panel is a gypsum board covered with a layer of insulation. The infrared emitter located on top is made in the form of a carbon conductive wire protected by a polymer sheath. The panel is powered by a standard 220 V.

As for designer wall heating panels, they can be of different colors and sizes, and usually stand out in a separate line. A slab in the form of a plinth looks very original: with its help, you can arrange the perimeter of a heated room. When decorating walls with plasterboard, wall heating can act as the main one. In those dwellings where a source of main heating is already available (solid or liquid fuel boiler), heating panels play a secondary role.

It should also be said about the weaknesses of these devices:

  • Although the sensation of warmth from the rays comes almost instantly, infrared devices operate mainly locally: one part of the room will be heated, and the other will not.
  • Due to the uneven effect of heat on the human body, he may experience health problems - headaches, fatigue, chills.
  • Since the operation of the IR panel does not heat up the air, but the surrounding objects, a plastic smell may appear in the room due to the heating of the plastic surfaces.
  • Despite the high power of such heaters (about 1.2 kW), their range of action is usually limited to a space of 8 m 2.
  • Infrared radiation has a negative effect on the eyes.

Recommendations for the use of infrared heating films

The main feature of such heating is the absence of energy losses for transportation from the source to the radiating surface. This film can be applied to any surface, including floors, walls or ceilings. In the latter case, it occupies about 2/3 of the total area, which makes it possible to achieve good heating uniformity. If you wish, you can additionally decorate the film. It is important to remember that it is prohibited to combine panel heaters with a stretch fabric or PVC ceiling. It is recommended to build a plasterboard platform on top of the device. When using decorative finishes, metal elements should be avoided.

The main advantages of heating films are:

  1. Lack of communication wiring.
  2. The infrared panel heater is powered from the household network, without the need for an additional boiler and piping.
  3. The system will not freeze if it is idle at sub-zero temperatures.
  4. The heating foil is very mobile: it can be removed at any time and attached to another place.
  5. The operation of such a system is very simple, and special service is not required here.
  6. The operation of the film is not accompanied by noise and combustion products.
  7. The circuit tolerates voltage drops well.
  8. If all the rules are observed, infrared film can work for at least 20 years.

The disadvantages of film heating are usually associated with significant energy consumption, so it cannot be called economical.

What other types of infrared heating are there?

Ceiling infrared panels do not take up much space. They can be used in rooms over three meters high. They are distinguished by their quiet operation, environmental safety and the ability to organize heating of a certain area. Space heating panels are easy to install and operate. Some manufacturers of cassette ceilings complete their products with special heaters.

In addition to the significant consumption of electrical energy, ceiling heating panels have another drawback: they are not always able to maintain the overall aesthetics of the room. When it comes to wall mounted infrared heating panels, they are a good replacement for traditional batteries. Due to its small thickness and light weight, the installation of such heating can be carried out independently.

Optimal installation site for electrical heating devices

Personal preference is critical in this regard. There is no consensus on this issue: some people like the wall mount of infrared panels for heating, others - floor or ceiling. Considering that warm air always rises upwards, wall mounting is not as effective. If the heating panels are placed on the floor, the air heated with their help will evenly heat the entire room, gradually rising to the ceiling. Approximately the same scheme of action for ceiling heating panels: in this case, it all depends on the convenience of the location.

To make your home comfortable in our latitudes in winter, it is necessary to install heating inside... And the more funds the owner has, the better the quality of the heating system can be installed.

And for a budget option, panel heating is suitable. In this case, the room is heated from heating panels built into the wall or floor.

At the moment there are several types of them, water, electric and infrared.

Thermal panels: what is it?

A comfortable room temperature is not created by heating the ambient air. Heat up first walls, and from them heat is transferred to the room.

It is necessary to regulate the average temperature of the heated surface, depending on where it is located. For example, ceiling panels are subjected to maximum heating, the least - up to 40 ° C- floor.

The heating device of SIP panels consists of made of two steel sheets, fastened by welding, between them pipes with a coolant (this is if the role of the latter is played by water).

When electricity is applied, heating elements are concreted in the thickness of the wall. To achieve a greater effect, the panels must be placed under the window. In this case, the falling cold stream is neutralized.

Advantages and disadvantages

Benefits of panel heating:

  • The heating elements of the panels located in the wall allow reduce heating costs up to 20%. The only thing that is required is that the room is well ventilated. If air exchange is carried out through filters, it is not economical. Since the ventilation rate is extremely low.
  • The location of the coolants inside the walls allows you to reduce the optimal temperature in the house by several degrees. For example, with convective heating, a person feels comfortable when in a room not less than 18-20 ° C, with panel - required 15 ° C.
  • Saving useful space.
  • Provided uniform heating premises.
  • Even at low temperatures there is no effect of "cold" walls.

Disadvantages of radiant panel heating:

  • This type of heating shows slow reaction that the external loads have already changed.
  • Due to the location of the heating element in the thickness of the walls, it poorly repairable. We'll have to disassemble the wall, floor.
  • Requires specific location.
  • Floor panels are less efficient as the maximum heating temperature is limited 30, rarely 40 ° C.

Types of panel heating for home

There are the following types of surface heating.

Water system

The most popular scheme, due to the fact that it successfully combines low price and high efficiency. In urban dwellings, such a panel system is located by default. In individual houses, it is installed only if it is intended for year-round use.

It is a small diameter metal pipes located in the thickness of the walls, through which water or other technical liquid.

Principle of operation: water, when heated in the boiler, moves through pipes that heat the wall, and it is the air in the room.

  • dwelling heats up in a quarter of an hour;
  • cheapness;
  • simplicity panels in installation.
  • can not be applied liquid other than water;
  • cools quickly.

The convection process proceeds rather slowly, therefore it is required to place the radiator as low as possible, otherwise the floor of the room will be cool.

Electrical panels

Principle of operation: the device creates a stream of infrared rays with a certain wavelength. They warm solids, not air... As a result, at a temperature about 18 ° C, the person feels quite comfortable.

Important! All solid bodies in the room, falling under the influence of rays and heating up, become sources of secondary radiation. Therefore, it seems that warmth surrounds you from all sides.

IR panels are qualified by location:

  • Ceiling are considered the most effective, since in this case the entire area of the room is exposed to heating. And they can get hot up to 900 ° C Are shortwave devices.
  • Wall mounted panels. It is recommended to place them as low as possible - the effect will be greater. Maximum heating up to 400 ° C.

Advantages:

  • You can find out that the device has started working within 10 minutes.
  • No creation convective air currents, which means that dust will not move around the room.
  • Do not require routine maintenance and control of work.
  • Externally, the panels look very attractively.
  • Save space thanks to its compact size.
  • Wide area of use.

Attention! Of the minuses, it is worth noting rapid cooling of the room and pretty high power consumption.

Recently, heaters have begun to be attached to the plasterboard wall cladding. It is much cheaper.

Ceramic from Nikaten

The material of the panels is natural ceramics, due to its ability to quickly accumulate heat and slowly release it to the environment as it cools.

A monolithic metal structure with a polymer coating on which ceramics are hermetically attached. A flexible heat-resistant cable is laid between the casing and the ceramic, which serves as a heating element. On facial side of the tile, the working temperature can reach 80 ° C, from the back - up to 90 ° C.

In itself, the device combines two types of heating - infrared and convection. This ensures quick and even heating of the air in the room.

Photo 1. Ceramic hybrid infrared panel of the Easy Heat model, power - 700 W, manufacturer - "KAM-IN".

Advantages:

  • Approved for use in any premises. Including where there is high humidity.
  • A thermal effect is created that has a beneficial effect on the human body. In its effect, it resembles the effect of the "Russian stove".
  • With an average panel power at 370 W electricity is consumed at the level of a stationary computer. After simple calculations, you can find out what is saved in comparison with fan heaters and convectors up to 30% of electricity. And if you install a thermostat and a multi-tariff meter, then the percentage can be raised by a couple more points.
  • Long service life - up to 30 years old.

There are practically no disadvantages, only that the panels after installation cannot be transferred to another room, and it is forbidden to dry things on them.

One of the most popular brands is the company Nikaten.

Their designs combine two types of heat - infrared (70%) and convection (30%)- this ensures uniform heating in the room.

The devices are used as a main or additional heating source. In monetary terms, allow the homeowner to save from 20 to 35 p. per square meter of housing area.

Heating panels

Heat is transferred by radiation. In this case, it is not the air that heats up, but walls, pieces of furniture, etc. All this happens due to the fact that the walls, ceiling and floor of the room are used as heating systems.

Their advantage is that the average temperature in the room may be less than generally accepted, but the person will feel comfortable. Gives substantial savings in the form of reducing heat costs for heating.

There are also disadvantages: poor maintainability, high cost of installation and debugging.

The summer season is unfairly short. As soon as the chilling breath of autumn is felt outside the window, there is a need to heat your home. One of the convenient, quick and low-cost options is the purchase of a compact, efficient heating device. Before making a choice, it is worthwhile to figure out what are the wall-mounted energy-saving heaters for the home, find out their functions and capabilities, evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of each type.

Wall mounted energy saving

Wall-mounted energy-saving home heaters: advantages and types of appliances

Despite the fact that many have long abandoned the services of centralized heating in favor of autonomous heating, mobile heaters for a house or apartment are still in demand. Indeed, it is often necessary to fill the house with heat on days when the cold suddenly returns, and it is simply irrational to start the entire heating system. It is then that compact electric heaters can be used to compensate for the lack of heat.

Electric wall heaters: advantages and types of devices

Modern household electric heaters are characterized by efficient energy consumption, converting it into heat by more than 90%. That is why such devices are energy efficient. Manufacturers of climatic equipment, improving their models, increase not only their technical and operational characteristics. The massive outdoor air heaters were replaced by wall-mounted counterparts, which are distinguished by their practicality, compactness and aesthetically pleasing appearance.

Wall mounted home heaters use a variety of heating methods for regulation, control and safe use. Considering a number of criteria, heaters are divided into types.

Depending on the heating method:

  • convection - the room is heated by moving the air flow passing through the heating element;
  • infrared - heating occurs due to thermal radiation.

According to the configuration of the heating element:

  • tubular heating lamps;
  • panel;
  • film.

Considering the ability to control the temperature of the device:

  • with thermostat;
  • without regulation function.

There are dozens of models of electric heaters from different manufacturers on sale. After reviewing and weighing the strengths and weaknesses of each type of energy-saving heaters, you can opt for specific equipment. What unites wall heating devices is that they do not take up much space, and some of them can also act as an original decor.

Specificity of wall-mounted electric heaters with a thermostat

When choosing wall heaters, you should pay attention to the presence of a thermostat in their design. This device controls the operation of the appliance, saving energy. By equipping the thermostat with a temperature sensor, it automatically turns on and off the heating depending on the set value. Some devices have a sensitivity threshold that reaches a tenth of a degree.

Some models of heaters are equipped with an on / off timer, which allows you to program the heater for the beginning or end of operation. It is possible to configure the equipment to turn on when you arrive from work or set a lower power at night with a subsequent increase in it in the morning. The difference in the cost of devices identical in power with and without a timer is up to $ 30.

There are two types of thermostats: mechanical and electronic thermostats. If there are frequent voltage drops in the house, it is recommended to use the mechanical option. If the voltage is stable, you can buy a wall heater with an electronic thermostat. Such heaters will work in automatic mode, without causing trouble for residents.

There are models of heaters not only with thermostats, but also with overheating protection systems, a light indicator and a mode switch within several positions. Such equipment will be quite convenient when there is a need to select the power of the heater: for example, in severe frosts, you can choose the operating mode at full power, or, conversely, when the temperature outside the window is not too low, choose a lower degree of intensity.

Functions of Quartz Wall Mounted Energy Saving Home Heaters

The room is heated by convection of air, which rises at the same time. Thus, due to circulation, after a certain time, the air temperature is equalized. It should be noted that the heating temperature of the convector body is above 60 ° C, which makes them completely safe and suitable for placement in children's playrooms.

Wall convectors are very easy to attach to the wall, but they also come with legs, so they can be installed on the floor if desired. To achieve an economic effect, thermostats, which carry out the necessary temperature control, allow. Thermoregulators are mechanical or electronic, the latter maintain a given heat level more accurately.

By design, convector heaters are divided into devices with a closed and open spiral and monoblock ones. I would like to note that the cost of heaters with an open filament is much cheaper, however, they dry the air in the room. Devices where heating elements are used almost do not change the humidity of the room, but they can burn the dust accumulated on the heating element. It is recommended to clean them from dust from time to time.

For rooms where the constant use of convectors is planned, monoblock devices are the most suitable. The heating element in them is reliably protected by a special filler, which creates a safe heating. Such devices are distinguished by long-term operation.

Helpful advice! For safe heating, choose models of electric convectors equipped with ionizers and air purifiers.

Ceramic heaters

Ceramic wall heaters are similar in principle to convection heaters, since heating is carried out by convection: warm air rises, and cold air descends for further heating. However, infrared radiation is added to the action of such devices, which is formed by the ceramic plate. Their main advantages include:

  • efficiency of equipment;
  • safety of use;
  • compactness and easy installation;
  • silent work;
  • equipment management;
  • varied design.

The natural material of ceramic plates has unique properties that are excellent for heat storage. Ceramics are resistant to temperature changes and do not degrade as a result of such an impact. Having a low coefficient of expansion, good thermal conductivity and strength to mechanical stress, this material is perfectly suited for use in electric heaters.

Ceramic wall heaters have an excellent stylish design and can be made in a variety of colors. Unlike convectors, ceramic plates warm up rooms with high ceilings well. The operation of such heaters is not accompanied by noise and high heating of the plates, they do not dry the air and create comfortable soft heat. The disadvantages include only a decent weight of the heaters.

All models are equipped with a built-in electronic thermostat. Devices made in the form of thin glossy panels can decorate any interior. Ceramic infrared heaters are installed directly under the ceiling. For the convenience of monitoring the functioning of such panels, they are supplied with remote controls.

Which wall heater to buy: ceramic or convector?

When choosing a wall-mounted heater for a home, it is worth considering a number of factors, among which are technical characteristics, the efficiency of the device, the availability of additional options, the manufacturer and the cost of the equipment. Comparing convection and ceramic heaters, it is worth noting that convectors are ineffective for rooms with high ceilings.

If you plan to use electric heaters on an ongoing basis, then you should choose more powerful models equipped with heat sensors, timers and other functions. This will increase the efficiency of the entire heating system and ensure rational energy consumption. When choosing the latest ceramic plates, it is worth considering that the cost of a panel for heating 12 square meters can be about 5,000 rubles, and maybe even higher, depending on the manufacturer.

If the function of the electric heater will include short-term additional heating, convector models with an open spiral can be purchased. They are cheap and can be used for local heating. From a safety point of view, monoblock convector heaters are in the lead, which can be operated, including in rooms where children are. The body of the device does not heat up to high temperatures.

In addition to the characteristics and advantages presented by manufacturers and distributors of wall heaters, it is worth asking for customer reviews. A large number of positive ratings for models of a particular company can serve as a true guideline when choosing a heating device.

Models of wall mounted infrared heaters for home

The principle of operation of a wall-mounted infrared heater for a home is identical to solar radiation, when heat rays are absorbed by objects and surfaces, and then transfer heat to the surrounding air. Due to this, on the one hand, certain zones are quickly heated when the device is turned on, and on the other hand, the heat flow is immediately stopped if it is turned off.

Due to the fact that radiation is not absorbed by the air, all the energy of the device is converted into heat practically without loss. It should be noted that at the same time, the level of humidity in the room does not change, and the air does not become dry; also, the advantages include the absolutely silent operation of the device. By design, infrared heaters can be cabinet, panel, film or lamp.

Flexible wall heaters

One of the thinnest infrared heaters is the flexible wall heater. It is made of two layers of polyester film and a heating element made of a thin (about 1.5 mm) carbon thread. The thickness of such a heating device allows it to be twisted into a roll when transporting or storing.

The main advantages of such models are:

  • light weight - they usually weigh no more than 1 kg and can be attached to absolutely any surface;
  • versatility - the device can be used, including for small bathrooms with a high degree of humidity;
  • low energy consumption - the cost of local heating in the range of 3 m is 0.08 rubles. in one hour of work;
  • maintaining the natural climatic properties of the room - you do not have to experience discomfort from a lack of oxygen;
  • therapeutic effect - the soft heat of the heater has healing properties;
  • compactness - takes up almost no space during installation and transportation.

Technical parameters of flexible electric wall heaters: electrical protection class II (DSTU 3135.0-95), operating power - 220V, power consumption - 400 W, and the heating temperature of the working surface - 75ºС.

Helpful advice!Do not cover the film heater with bed linen or other things, this can provoke its deformation and failure.

A special place in the "family" of electric film wall heaters is occupied by models made in the form of paintings or panels. This design technique makes it possible to purchase a device that will logically fit into the interior of any style. The difficulty will be caused only by the difficulty of choosing among a huge assortment of thematic options.

Where to buy film heaters "wall panel"

Heating panels, in addition to the heating function, have a decorative component. A variety of subjects allows you to choose a "warm" decor for rooms for different purposes. For a children's room, panels with the image of your favorite characters from fairy tales and cartoons are suitable, for a bedroom - romantic landscapes, a magnificent waterfall will look great in the living room, and for the kitchen the place is for a still life.

The most convenient way to buy a flexible wall heater is through an online store. Firstly, it is possible to carefully familiarize yourself with the technical parameters, and secondly, you can slowly choose the plot of the panel you like, and thirdly, you can compare the price level for heaters depending on the manufacturer. In addition, by visiting online retailers, you will always be aware of ongoing promotions and sales.

Wall-mounted electric heaters: consumer reviews

When visiting online stores selling wall heaters, before ordering, you should familiarize yourself with customer reviews, because this can protect you from buying a device that does not match your room in terms of power or does not have proper protection against overheating and can harm a child.

Here is some of them:

“The windows of our apartment face the north side. In severe frosts, district heating is not enough for a comfortable temperature. We decided to purchase a model of an NVA ceramic electric heater. The device of compact size turned out to be quite good in terms of power. Perfectly complements the heating of a small bedroom of 15 sq.m. In the future, we would like to buy a heater of this type for the bathroom, so that we can quickly dry the laundry. "

Natalia, Tomsk

“We have wanted to buy a wall heater for a children's room for a long time. I liked the Polaris models with remote control. The stylishly designed heater runs silently. The room began to warm up quickly. In addition, there is a built-in timer, thanks to which you can set various operating modes. We were very satisfied. "

Svetlana Trofimova, Tambov

“We have a very cozy office, but it's very cold at work in winter. Either the radiators are clogged, or the heating is weak. The whole team looked after a wall-mounted infrared heater in the form of a beautiful picture "Velvet Season". The workplace heats up quickly within a 4m radius, and the beautiful mountain scenery is soothing and stress-relieving. Everyone is happy. He does not spend a lot of electricity. "

Having familiarized yourself with the properties and characteristics of modern wall heaters, as well as carefully studying consumer reviews, you can make the right choice of a device that is suitable specifically for your home.

It is great when a well-functioning heating system is created and operates smoothly in your own home. It is very cool if the radiators in a city apartment are hot all winter and fully cope with maintaining a comfortable microclimate in the premises. But everything happens - from extreme winter frosts, unusual for a particular region, when heating is not able to create the required temperature in the rooms, to emergency situations on heating systems or equipment. And in all unforeseen cases, energy-saving home heaters can come to the rescue.

However, not only these or those "cataclysms" make such heaters a necessary device. As you know, the heating season in central systems is a regulated event. But in September and May, that is, before the start or after the end of the operation of the boiler houses, it may well still be established "off-season" weather, that is, very cool days and nights occur. Electric heating will also help to survive this period. Or, for example, in a private house during a prolonged summer bad weather, it is irrational to start the entire heating system, and it is easier to have a compact efficient electric heater for this time.

Existing varieties of electric room heaters

Surely, when mentioning electric heaters, most of the readers immediately have a strong association with the extreme cost of this type of heating. Indeed, electricity is not cheap, and if you use it unwisely, you can in fact face ruinous bills. But modern devices are no longer those spiral heaters-"goats", home-made or factory-made, which did not have any controls, and certainly caused the crazy rotation of the electricity meter, with dubious efficiency and almost complete absence of systems to ensure operational safety.

Old electric heating devices could not boast of efficiency

By the way - probably, all heating devices have a very high efficiency, since electricity is almost completely converted into heat energy with minimal losses. And the main task is to use it rationally, to determine the optimal transmission method from the device to the air and objects in the room. Agree, the difference between an included ordinary 500-watt electric stove and a high-quality heater of the same power is very noticeable.

Heating efficiency can be achieved in various ways - by maximizing the area of active heat exchange, by transferring thermal energy over a distance by infrared radiation, by creating directed convection flows of heated air. In addition, any energy-saving devices assume the presence of "feedback" - the automation monitors the temperature in the room and turns on heating only as needed to maintain the set level.

So, according to the principle of transferring converted from electrical thermal energy, modern heating devices can be divided into several broad groups.

  • A large group of heaters, according to the principle of operation, as a whole, repeats the usual all heating radiators - direct heat transfer from the surface of the device to the atmosphere of the room is used.

One of the most common heating devices is an oil radiator

Such electric heaters include stationary or mobile oil radiators, flat heating panels with quartz or ceramic heat exchange plates. Not so long ago, another type appeared - the so-called modular electric batteries, outwardly almost indistinguishable from modern bimetallic or aluminum radiators.

The principle of direct heat transfer from the device to the air is reliable and proven, but it also has specific disadvantages. The main one is that the efficiency of heat transfer directly depends on the contact area. Therefore, the devices are large enough and massive, with a significant number of fins or additional heat exchange plates. The other extreme is the achievement of the required efficiency of heat transfer by increasing the heating temperature of the surface of the device, which is not very convenient from the point of view of safety, especially if the room may contain small children.

Nevertheless, such electric heaters are quite popular, probably mainly for their simplicity and reliability. However, it is possible that the stereotypical thinking of many people also plays on this - they choose what is familiar, what they trust completely, without even trying to consider modern alternatives.

  • The second principle of energy transfer is the creation of directed streams of warm air.

This can be realized due to the special shape of the device body - ascending convection currents are created in a natural way. This principle is applied in devices that have received the appropriate name - heating convectors. They can be installed on walls as panels, on the floor, as skirting boards, or even hidden in the floor surface.

a - panel convector for fixed installation on the wall.

b - panel convector of a mobile modification.

c - a hidden electric convector placed under the floor surface.

d - skirting-type convector.

At the same time, the principle does not change much - the heating elements are located inside the housing, and the special shape of the outlet and outlet openings provides a directed upward heat flow, which ensures the rapid spread of heat throughout the room.

Warm air flow can also be created forcibly - in this mode, a separate type of devices operates, which are often called heat fans (such high-power devices are also often called heat guns).

Prices for RESANTA fan heaters

Fan heater RESANTA

Air heating is also created by a heating element of one type or another located inside the housing. But, unlike convectors, the device is equipped with a built-in fan, which creates a directed heat flow.

Thermal fans can be quite miniature, in a desktop version, or they can be rather large devices located on the floor or permanently suspended from the walls.

A special type of fans - a heat curtain over an entrance door or window

Thermal curtains are a special type of such devices. They are usually located above the entrance doors, and the generated heat flux directed downward helps to dramatically reduce heat loss through the entrance opening, and takes part in heating the room. Thus, such devices can also be classified as energy-saving devices.

  • Another principle of heat transfer from a heater is infrared wave radiation. An illustrative example of such a spread of energy is the sun's rays, which do not encounter much resistance in the atmosphere, but heat the Earth's surface and all optically opaque objects in their path.

The streams of radiant energy directed by such devices do not heat the air in the room by themselves in the same way. However, upon reaching the opaque barrier, they cause it to heat up, which is then transferred to the air according to the principle of conventional heat transfer. Thus, large areas are involved in the heating process, which, if the emitter is correctly located, contributes to the rapid spread of heat in the room.

In terms of their design and layout, infrared heaters also differ in a wide variety - from the simplest desktop "reflectors" to very large wall-mounted, rack-mountable or suspended (to the ceiling) devices.

Film heaters with carbon emitting strips can also be considered a special type. Such PLEN canvases are placed on ceilings or walls openly or even under a layer of decoration - they remain invisible to the eye, and nevertheless give off heat energy well to the premises.

However, it is still better to consider PLEN not as a device, but already as a whole room heating system. This topic is peculiar, requires separate consideration, and in this publication, the emphasis will not be placed on it.

Before proceeding to the consideration of the types of energy-saving heaters in more detail, it is advisable to make one remark. The listed division according to the principles of operation in many models often has a certain degree of convention, that is, several ways of transferring thermal energy can be implemented in one device. So, for example, an oil radiator heated to a high temperature, in addition to direct heat transfer, will also create a fairly strong convection flow, and heat from it can be felt at a certain distance - that is, infrared thermal radiation is also involved. Another thing is that some of the device's functions still prevail over others.

Direct heat transfer heaters

Household oil radiators

Such devices, probably, can be classified as the most common. And according to the history of their use, they are also likely to be among the leaders. Their design is simple and straightforward, and did not undergo any special changes - to a greater extent, the systems of thermostatic regulation and ensuring the safety of devices were modernized. And, of course, the designers of the manufacturing companies are trying to attract the attention of potential consumers with interesting design solutions.

Most oil coolers are assembled in a similar way:

"Classic" scheme of the oil cooler

1 - a case with a casing, under which the entire "electrical part" of the device is located.

2 - usually a drum, spool or separate compartment is provided for winding the power cord in the inoperative position of the device.

3 - regulator (step or smooth) of the heating power level.

4 - thermostat regulator, allowing to insert the required temperature for heating the air in the room.

5 - heat exchange steel sections of the heater. The quantity depends on the specific model (total heat output of the device). The configuration of the sections can be different, including with vertical channels to create convection flows. There are devices that do not have division into sections - the heat exchanger is a single panel with a relief surface.

The sections are connected hermetically, and a special mineral oil is poured inside, which acts as a heat carrier.

6 - the lower connected part of the heat exchange sections - inside it there is a tubular heating element (TEN).

7 - oil radiators, as a rule, are quite massive, and for the convenience of rearranging them in the right place, many models are equipped with a wheel travel.

8 - handle facilitating the process of transportation (carrying) of the heater.

The principle of operation of an oil cooler is simple. Heating from the heating element or spiral located at the bottom is transferred to the liquid medium. The oil is used for several reasons. First, it has a high heat capacity, which exceeds that of water. Consequently, the accumulation of heat will be much better expressed. Secondly, this filler has a much higher boiling point, that is, the likelihood of gas formation during strong heating is excluded. And thirdly, the oil does not allow corrosion processes to develop inside the welded steel structure of the heat exchange fins and does not form scale on the heating elements, does not cause overheating and burnout of the openly located spiral. The fact that increased viscosity increases the hydraulic resistance of this fluid is not significant in a small closed volume of the radiator.

Like any device, a heating device with a heating element, an oil radiator is characterized by a fairly high energy consumption at the heating stage. The principle of energy saving "turns on" after the coolant reaches the set temperature - due to the high heat capacity of the oil, a very long heat transfer occurs, and the installed thermostat will turn on the power only as needed, providing periodic heating of the coolant.

As mentioned above, many models of oil coolers can use several heat transfer principles. For example, devices are produced in which, in addition to the usual ribbing of the heat exchange sections, special vertical channels are also provided, which ensure the creation of powerful convection flows.

In other models, this may be decided differently. An example is oil coolers with a built-in fan. Enabling this function allows you to provide quick initial heating of air in a sufficiently large room, and only then switch to normal operation, or create a zone in the room where a horizontal flow of warm air will be constantly directed.

The following can be distinguished as the advantages of oil radiators.

  • The price of such devices is moderate.
  • The device is easy to operate and does not require any special "installation" operations, except, perhaps, the installation of legs or wheels. Then all that remains is to plug the device into an outlet and set the required operating mode.
  • The oil radiator can be easily rearranged to the desired point in the room.
  • The designers of modern oil radiators have provided several degrees of protection, including from overheating and, which is very important, emergency shutdown of the heater in case of accidental overturning.

Oil radiators also have their own disadvantages:

  • The devices are rather bulky and heavy. Installing a heater in a room can sometimes cause difficulty in moving around the room, especially since the power cable will still be pulled to it.
  • The device has a pronounced thermal inertness. It will warm up for a long time at startup, however, and the cooling period is also significant. That is, it can be viewed in two ways - in some, such a quality is even beneficial.
  • It happens that such a bulky device, located in the center of the room, does not quite fit into the interior created by the owners.
  • The oil cooler requires special attention during operation. And again, the point is in the features of the device - its location in the center of the room, massiveness and dimensions. Angled metal ribs can injure, and excessive heat can cause skin burns. Increased attention - if young children are playing in the room. In general, it is not recommended to leave them unattended with such a heater. By the way, even the wheels of the radiator can provoke a child to some unsafe games.

When using such a heater, some more recommendations must be taken into account:

  • The oil cooler should only be connected with a standard power cord directly to the outlet. The use of extension cords is at least discouraged. By the way, this rule is true in general for all powerful heating devices.
  • Do not be intimidated by gurgling noises and odors when you turn on the device for the first time after purchase or for a long period of inactivity. When the oil is heated, the accumulated air will come out of it, the sounds will disappear and will not appear in the future. Smells are also a temporary phenomenon of the same "breed" - after several hours of work they will disappear. But at this time, you should think about the issue of ventilation of the room.
  • Oil radiators should not be used to heat too small (less than 4 m²) rooms.
  • The device must not be located directly below the connection point (socket).
  • The normal position of the radiator is vertical, and it is strictly forbidden to come up with any other ways of placing it.
  • It is forbidden to cover the heat exchange fins with anything, for example, to dry washed clothes or linen. True, there are models equipped with special brackets - they are designed specifically to accommodate things that need to be dried. But the fabric should still not come into contact with the metal ribs.

Heating panels

Ceramic or quartz panels can be considered the next type of modern electric heaters that deserve special attention. They appeared in everyday life not so long ago, but quickly gained popularity among consumers.

The design of such devices is made according to a single principle, and the main differences lie in the material for the manufacture of the heat exchange surface - it can be made of ceramics, quartz composite, artificial stone. Rarely, but still there are panels and an outer metal coating.

Their structure can be schematically represented as follows:

1 - the case on which the entire structure of the device is assembled. Usually made of metal. A prerequisite is a reliable layer of thermal insulation and a reflective substrate, which will direct the heat flow towards the room.

2 - resistive type heating element (spiral or special cable).

3 - external heat exchange panel made of a material of increased heat capacity - ceramics, artificial stone, quartz, etc.

In some models, the external massive panel is combined with a heating element - it is poured with a liquid composite at the stage of the device's production. Thus, the spiral or cable receives full protection from contact with the external environment, which, of course, dramatically increases their service life, reducing the likelihood of burnout to a minimum.

4 - brackets for placing the heating panel on the wall surface.

Ballu convector prices

Ballu convector

If we take a closer look at the operation of such a heater, we can see that it combines all three of the above-mentioned principles of heat transfer. The large panel provides direct heat exchange with the air in the room. Warm air itself creates convection currents, plus in some models special vertical channels are provided to enhance the effect. And to all this - a massive ceramic, quartz or slab made of artificial stone, after heating, turns into a powerful source of infrared radiation - the heat from it can be felt by the skin at a fairly significant distance.

In short, the action is similar to a brick stove - with the effect of "hot stone", when dry healthy heat emanates from the source. The massive panel becomes a very capacious heat accumulator, that is, the heater itself, after entering the normal power mode, will not turn on so often - only as the temperature in the room decreases.

Some models have their own thermostat, but nevertheless, a scheme for installing several devices with connection to a single external wall-mounted control unit located in an easy-to-access place is used more often. In this case, the devices have only a power cord, and sometimes only a terminal box for connecting cables.

Such heaters, as a rule, are well protected against splashing water and high humidity. Thus, they are becoming very popular for the organization of alternative heating in bathrooms.

Another significant advantage of them is a wide choice of external design of panels. This can be decoration under a stone with an imitation of a beautiful natural structure of minerals, relief patterns or drawings, tinting according to the color catalog. You can also choose the original version with photo printing.

Some manufacturers, and whether firms engaged in the sale of such heating devices, offer customers catalogs by which you can choose the style of design of the heating panel that is most suitable for the interior of the room or for its intended purpose. For example, you can not only heat, but also decorate the children's room with a panel with cartoon characters or heroes of your favorite children's fairy tales.

What can be said about the disadvantages of such panels?

A rather conventional "minus" is a large device. But you can't do without it - in order to achieve high heat capacity and maximum heat transfer, you need a massive panel. However, this problem will have to be faced only once - when purchasing a heater and installing it to the wall. - the main thing is to choose reliable fasteners. The second drawback is the high temperature of possible heating of the front panel - but this quality is characteristic of very many heating devices, especially electric ones. You just have to be careful and try to use peak power values less often.

Modular type electric radiators

Another very interesting type of innovative energy-saving electric heaters. They are outwardly practically indistinguishable from modern aluminum or bimetallic heating batteries, but they do not require a tie-in into the system, since they use the principle of electric heating.

These radiators appeared not so long ago, but now they are already presented in a fairly wide range. It should be noted that despite some external similarity of modular heaters, they may slightly differ in their principle of operation.

  • Some models are, in fact, a conventional miniature liquid heating system. The liquid is heated under the influence of a heating element, enclosed in a stainless capsule. Circulating through the channels, the coolant gives up energy to the surfaces of the radiator sections. The number of sections can be different - usually the consumer stipulates this when placing an order - based on the area of the heated room.
  • Another type is modular vapor-droplet heaters. In principle, they are more like a modern condensing boiler. A small amount of water is heated by electricity to a vapor state. The steam rises, cools, condenses in special heat pipes, giving off a significant amount of thermal energy, which is used to heat the heater surfaces. Such a system for converting energy and using the hidden potential of steam is recognized by specialists as one of the most effective of all existing ones.
  • And the designers of the Italian company "Sira Group" decided to do without a liquid medium altogether. The rod-type heater, made of special alloy steel, is located vertically inside the section (each has its own), I am an integral part of the structure - the aluminum body is cast literally around the already installed rod.

Non-liquid modular radiators of the Italian company "Sira"

Thus, there is a direct heating transfer process, without "intermediaries", which guarantees minimal energy losses. And the modular design allows you to turn on the heating rods at the same time or separately - depending on the required heating temperature, in accordance with commands from the control unit.

It is interesting that almost all modular-type radiators are equipped with modern multiprocessor "brains". Which allow you to configure devices with the highest accuracy, program their operation for a certain period, taking into account preferential rates or the daily routine of the apartment owners. Of course, this is another big "plus" to the energy saving effect already incorporated into the devices.

Electric heaters operating on the convection principle

For representatives of this group of electric heating devices, in their very design, the main principle is the transfer of thermal energy by creating directed streams of warm air. Thus, the heat quickly spreads in the space of the room.

But there can be a significant difference in the method of creating convection flows. In some devices, this is facilitated by the design of their body, and the circulation of air masses passes naturally, from the bottom up. Another type of devices is capable of creating directional flows in the desired direction - the movement of air in them is carried out forcibly, using a built-in fan.

Electric convectors

Not so long ago, panel electric convectors appeared in everyday life, due to their simplicity of design, reasonable price, safe operation and high efficiency, have gained wide popularity. This, of course, was also facilitated by the fact that such devices, as a rule, have a very neat appearance, and their installation usually does not introduce disharmony into the style of living quarters.

Most convectors have a characteristic shape - a thin rectangular box-shaped body, in vertical design, the length and height of which significantly exceed the thickness. This shape is very convenient for hanging the device on the wall surface - it practically does not take up the useful space of the room. However, there are also mobile models that are installed on a wheeled cart - by analogy with oil coolers.

But even such a thin case is enough to accommodate all the elements necessary for work. The basic structure of the panel convector is shown in the figure:

So, the body (pos. 1), as a rule, is made of metal sheet and has an enamel coating that is resistant to high temperatures and is very easy to clean. There are models with cases made of durable polymer.

At the bottom there are holes or slots (item 2) that provide cooled air to the heater.

In the lower part of the body there is an electric heating element (pos. 3), one or more, installed in parallel. As a rule, heaters have a ribbed surface to increase the area of contact with air and more efficient heat transfer with it. Ordinary heating elements can be used as heaters, but modern models are more often equipped with higher-quality assemblies, which are an aluminum assembly, inside which there is a nichrome spiral, closed with a special filling with high dielectric and heat-conducting characteristics. When choosing a device, it is better to give preference to the latter option.

In the upper part of the body, along the upper edge of the box or on the front panel, there are slot-like holes (pos. 4) for the outlet and direction of the heated air flow. These peculiar nozzles can be conventional, or equipped with movable louvers, allowing you to more accurately direct the convection flow in the desired direction.

Panel convectors are equipped with a control unit (pos. 5). It usually includes a heating power switch and an electromechanical or electronic thermostat (item 6) that monitors the temperature level of the incoming air from the room through a temperature sensor installed near the inlets (item 7). If the temperature meets the user-set heating threshold, the heater is temporarily switched off. This is how the rational use of electrical energy is achieved.

Another temperature sensor (key 7) is usually located in the middle of the housing. This is an element of protection against overheating of the device. If, due to some circumstances, the normal air circulation through the convector is disturbed (the upper nozzles are covered with a cloth, or the lower intake holes are clogged with dust), then when the temperature inside rises above the limit set by the manufacturer, the power supplied to the electric heating elements will be turned off.

Many convectors in a mobile design also have a position sensor - they will automatically turn off if the device is accidentally overturned. A good option for those who have small children or large pets at home.

Of course, if you consider it expedient, then you can purchase a modern model, in which the entire control unit is electronic, has a touch panel control, LCD displays, allows you to program the operating modes of the device, set the temperature level with particular accuracy.

The so-called "warm skirting boards" have recently become a special type of electric convectors.

A special kind of convectors - "warm plinth"

The principle of their work is the same, but the form of execution is somewhat different. They are distinguished by a squat, narrow elongated body, in which a heating element is also located, there are intake and outlet openings for air circulation.

The picture above shows the simplest version of their execution - in a portable or floor version for installation along walls. However, they can be given more original forms. These can be flat panels attached to the walls above the skirting boards (in the picture below - on the left), or even installed instead of skirting boards (on the right). With the correct selection of the desired model and its external design, such devices become almost invisible.

"Warm skirting boards" can be almost invisible

Electric skirting boards are usually installed along the outer walls of the room. The warm air flow emanating from them heats up the wall and prevents heat losses through it, thereby creating a comfortable microclimate in the room.

All electric convectors are distinguished by their safe operation - both due to the available protection systems, and because the surface of the body never heats up to high temperatures. Getting burned, such as with ceramic panels or with an oil cooler, is simply impossible.

The disadvantage is that convection air currents always carry a large amount of dust - there will be a special demand for the cleanliness of the room. Dust, in addition, can clog the heat exchange fins of the heating element over time - the heating efficiency can be significantly reduced due to this. When using convectors, it is necessary to regularly check and clean - this is easy to do using a vacuum cleaner with a special slotted narrow nozzle.

Electric heat fans

Another type of electric heaters of convective action, but in which the movement of heated air is forced. Actually, this immediately follows from their name.

The principle of operation is simple - a heating element of one type or another is located inside the body of the device, and the built-in fan ensures the movement of air flow from the intake holes (windows) towards the nozzle, which provides the desired direction of movement of warm air.

The heating element itself can be of one of three types (see figure):

1 - open spiral. Typically installed in inexpensive, compact "desktop" type models. For long-term work. Usually not calculated. Of the advantages - only a low price. There are many more disadvantages. This is a low degree of safety (fire and electrical injury). The spiral is open, it literally gets red-hot, and all dust particles or small insects caught with the air stream burn out on it. Work at the initial stage, after turning on the device, may be accompanied by a rather unpleasant odor.

2 - Tubular heating elements (TEN). The devices are distinguished by high reliability and durability, and usually such heating elements are installed in powerful (over 1500 - 2000 W) fans, which are often called heat guns.

3 - ceramic heating elements. Probably the most optimal solution for a household appliance. The heating temperature that it creates is not so high as to cause combustion of dust, but it is quite sufficient for efficient heating of the air.

Thermal fans can differ significantly in the type of installation (tabletop, floor-standing, wall-mounted and even ceiling-mounted), in layout (horizontal, vertical, column-type, etc.), in power, equipment with levels of regulation and automation of work.

The usual set of functions of even the most inexpensive devices is stepwise regulation of heating power plus operation in fan mode, without heating, and an electromechanical thermostat. In expensive models of floor-standing or wall-mounted type, humidification, air ionization, programming of operating modes and other options can be implemented. Floor-standing fan heaters often have a special platform that allows the working unit to rotate around the vertical axis in a certain sector - for faster heat distribution throughout the room.

The advantages of fan heaters include the following:

  • They are able to very quickly provide heating in a certain area of the room or bring the air temperature to an unnecessary level in a small room.
  • These devices are often very compact, which makes it easy to carry them from place to place, take them with you if necessary to the country or to work.
  • The low price for heaters is also a winning moment.

Disadvantages of such devices:

  • The fan is noisy. He may, of course, be weak, but it is almost impossible to completely get rid of him.
  • Horizontal air currents are not always pleasant to everyone, since they are even similar in perception to drafts. In addition, it is also dust transfer.
  • There is a lot of controversy about whether heat ventilators with an open coil dry the air, and whether oxygen "burns out". Reasoning from the point of view of physics - of course not, but still, from the practice of application, they do not "heal" the atmosphere in the room.

In most cases, when purchasing a thermal fan, it is not considered as a device that will act as the main source of heat. Rather, it will come in handy for extreme situations or for creating any zones of increased comfort on particularly cold days. Despite the presence of a thermostat, it is probably not necessary to expect great efficiency in operation from a device of the lower price category. Well, if we consider the need to purchase a more expensive, powerful model, then it will most likely be inferior in efficiency to other heaters of the same price level, but working according to different principles of heat transfer.

In the introductory part of the article, electric heaters were also mentioned, the main principle of energy transfer in which is infrared radiation. However, they in all their variety are considered in detail in a separate publication of the portal, and there is probably no point in repeating it.

Infrared heating - efficient and safe

The transfer of heat energy from a source to a room is one of the most efficient. This principle is implemented in special - the link will lead the reader to the corresponding publication.

How to find out the required power of the heating device?

It can be noted that manufacturers in the technical documentation of their products often indicate not only the power of the heater, but also the recommended area (or volume) of the room that it can heat up. However, this should be treated with a certain degree of caution, especially if the heater is planned to be used as the main source of heat (even temporary, for example, during a winter trip to the country or in case of an accident in the heat supply system).

In order not to be mistaken with the required power, it is not only the area of the room that should be taken into account - there are a number of important factors that somehow affect the degree of heat loss in the room. If these criteria are ignored, then either the capabilities of the device will not be enough, or the money will be given for a more expensive heater, the power potential of which will simply not be in demand.

Conducting an independent calculation will not be difficult if you use a special calculator located below. It is enough to enter the requested data - and the program will determine the required heat output for heating a particular room.
