Bagua grid and Feng Shui zones: creating complete harmony in life. Sectors and zones of the apartment in Feng Shui, we put Bagua or Lo-Shu on the plan

Feng Shui is a person's desire to live in harmony with the environment. This is a recognition of the presence of a soul of its own in various elements of the Earth, a desire to make friends with them, use their energy for your own good, and not stand across its streams. In the narrow sense of the word, this is a teaching on how to properly equip your home so that positive trends always stay in it and negative ones do not linger.

We divide the apartment into zones

How do feng shui rules work in an apartment? In order to equip your home in accordance with this practice, you should seek the help of a specialist, or study its basics yourself.

As a rule, every corner is important for feng shui of an apartment, every detail - doors, pantry, hallway. All of them have a tendency to accumulate negative or positive energy, which, in one way or another, affects the fate, health and mood of the owners.

First, housing must be divided into zones by an octagon called Ba-Gua. You should have nine parts - one in the center, the other eight should be deployed to the four cardinal directions and their intermediate values (northeast, northwest, etc.)

The Ba-Gua octagon must be placed on the plan of the house, orienting it to the cardinal points. After that, they check which sector of it falls on a particular room or place in the room.

Feng Shui zones in an apartment have their own name, purpose and energy.

  1. The center is the health zone. Zone element - Earth. This zone interacts and intersects with other zones and is responsible for the health of the home owners. The activation of her positive energy is important for well-being and mood; for this, ceramic, porcelain, crystal and clay objects are placed in the health zone - figurines, dishes, souvenirs, a crystal chandelier. Suitable colors for this area are yellow, brown, terracotta. In the central area, you can also hang wind chimes with red tubes, or bells. Since all the energy in the house passes through the center, it must be cleaned with salt and water - put saucers with these substances for a while, and then pour into the sink and rinse. Church or scented candles, incense sticks, aroma lamps with any essential oil will be a good means for energetic cleaning of a room.
  2. Southeast is the zone of wealth, the element of the zone is Wood. Wealth will be attracted to the house by images of water in motion - a waterfall, a fountain, a river, a mountain stream. In this zone, you need to put an indoor flower money tree, or a souvenir tree with coins. An aquarium with fish, 4 coins will be appropriate. Here you can also put a Hottei figurine, wooden or glass figurines, a money tree, 4 apples or other fruits. Wind chimes made from bamboo or wood are another wealth talisman to be found in this area.
  3. The East is the family zone, the elements of the zone are Water and Wood. If you want love and mutual respect in the house, you need to place family photos, albums, family heirlooms, and indoor plants in this area. Talismans and figurines containing the number 3 in any form will be appropriate - three turtles standing on top of each other, 3, 6, 9 or 12 family photos, wind chime from a tree, as well as 3 jade eggs or 3 crystal balls. In the family area, you can install a dragon figurine with a pearl to protect against evil, an image or a heron figurine for strength and improve family relations.
  4. The northeast is the zone of knowledge and wisdom, the element of the zone is the Earth. The room located in this part of the house is perfect for those who like to study. Here you should arrange a study, put books, reference books and textbooks on the shelves. Put on a globe, a computer, fiction. Hang a map of the world, or a map of the country, on the wall. In this area, the family should gather to make important decisions. An excellent mascot of the zone will be glass or crystal balls and crystals, as well as a symbol of wisdom - figurines of a snake or an owl.
  5. The North is a career zone, the element is Water. In order for the career of the owners of the house to be successful, in this area it is worth hanging a picture or photo with flowing water, putting up a small indoor fountain, an aquarium with fish or a live turtle. Install a desk, telephone, computer. The best mascot for the zone will be a metal turtle figurine. Other materials in this area will weaken the power of Water. For those who are engaged in trade, a metal sailboat, in the form of a chasing or a figurine, will help in business. A metal bowl with clean water, a metal horseshoe, figurines of fish, dolphins, and Feng Shui coins will contribute to moving up the career ladder.
  6. Northwest - travel and business zone, element - Air. Here, too, you will need your own attributes - a globe, a geographical map, a photo or a picture depicting countries attractive to you. Since it is impossible to travel without money, put a small piggy bank and put symbolic savings “on the road” in it, in the form of several coins. This sector is also responsible for relationships with colleagues, friends, business partners. An excellent talisman for this zone will be the figurines of the god Ganesha and the dragon-turtle. Business cards, a book with the necessary phone numbers, icons, photos of patrons and senior management are also kept here.
  7. The West is the zone of children, the element is Metal. It should contain everything that the child should learn, or what he has the ability to - textbooks, fiction, games, sports equipment, items for creativity and needlework. If there are no children in the family, a figurine of an elephant or rabbits can be placed in this area, they will contribute to the appearance of heirs. An elephant figurine is necessary and simple, for the development of creative abilities in a child. Wind chime in this area should be made of metal, figurines, bells and ornaments - too. If you want to hang a horseshoe-shaped souvenir, this area will be the best place for it. If there are no children in the family, here you can arrange for yourself a corner for creativity and hobbies.
  8. Southwest is the zone of love, the elements are Earth and Fire. To live in a couple, in a love zone, the Feng Shui rules prescribe to place paired objects here - figurines of swans, mandarin ducks, dolphins, a picture or a photo with a happy couple. Single objects and the image of a lonely person will destroy the zone of love. The mascots of this zone should be made of porcelain, ceramics, ornamental semi-precious stones. The area can be decorated with a photo or painting with peonies, symbolizing passion. However, peonies, after the appearance of children in the family, become symbols of adultery, you need to be more careful with them.
  9. The South is a zone of luck, success, recognition, authority; the element of this zone is Fire. Here you can place things that remind of the merits of family members - certificates, diplomas, awards. If there are not many of them, you can hang on the wall or put other objects symbolizing glory on a table or shelf, pictures or figurines of a pyramid, phoenix, eagle, horse, rooster, peacock, peacock feathers. In Feng Shui, twisted shells are the talisman that brings fame and glory. Feng Shui rules prescribe to place 9 peacock feathers or 9 shells here - these items will bring prosperity and prosperity to the owners, which will allow them to take their rightful place in society.

There are general feng shui rules for any apartment, even if it is not divided into zones.

  • the apartment must be clean, dust, dirty, old things violate the positive energy of the house;
  • throw away damaged items, non-working mechanisms, chipped cups and plates;
  • there should be good lighting in feng shui zones. Do not block access to sunlight during the day, use electric lamps at night. Darkness has the ability to accumulate negative energy.
  • repairs should be done as often as possible so that the walls, floor and ceiling do not have cracks;
  • large, heavy objects should be placed along the walls so that they do not interfere with the advancement of beneficial energies;
  • Feng Shui doors for an apartment should open inside the room, and in the bathroom - outward;
  • do not hang sharp objects over your head, especially over;
  • do not create abandoned places in the house with a accumulation of old things. In such places, negative energy accumulates, destroying the harmony of the room;
  • the atmosphere in the room should be liked by all its residents. It's great if the Feng Shui apartment seems cozy and comfortable for all family members.

In a small apartment

If you think that the Feng Shui rules are suitable only for spacious housing, which is easy to divide into zones, you are deeply mistaken. Feng Shui of a one-room apartment can be arranged just as well. The Ba-Gua octagon described above will perfectly fit into a small-sized room of an ideal rectangular shape.

To begin with, use a compass to determine the cardinal points, and you will have a complete idea of where your zone of wealth is, and where is the zone of fame and recognition, and all other zones. Now it remains only to arrange them, in accordance with the rules of Feng Shui described above.

What's in the kitchen?

Feng Shui rules apply to all rooms in the house. Including the kitchen. Probably, it would be more correct to say - to the kitchen first. After all, it is here that the family hearth is located, even if it is just a gas or electric stove.

Food is prepared here, the whole family gathers at the table. Discussion of pressing problems occurs at this time. Therefore, it is important that the energies in the kitchen are in a harmonious state, do not interfere or suppress each other.

It is better to put the stove on the south side, and the refrigerator on the north or northeast. Between them you can put a wooden object - a table, a bedside table, a stool, a chair. They will be the link between flame and ice.

Cutlery - Knives, forks, and spoons should be kept in a table or cabinet so they are out of sight. According to Feng Shui, electrical appliances are placed in areas that require increased stimulation.

The front door should be located so that during cooking it is behind the chef's back - this way the dishes will turn out to be healthy and tasty, and the chef himself will not feel discomfort.

Each living space has its own unique energy. If this energy is harmoniously combined with the vital energy of the people living in it, everything in their fate will turn out well. The ancient Chinese practice of feng shui is designed to organize the space in such a way as to neutralize the destructive sha energy and activate the flow of positive qi energy.

The problem of harmonizing energy flows is especially relevant for residents of modern high-rise buildings, in which small-sized apartments are entangled in a whole network of all kinds of wires and communications.

Auspicious feng shui in an apartment is just as important for a person's normal life as air, food and the light of the sun, since it can be used to improve both the quantity and quality of qi energy.

To learn more on the concept of qi in feng shui and life:

A person instinctively gets the lack of this energy outside the walls of his apartment, staying longer at work or in the company of friends, going out into the countryside or wandering around the shops.

Using a whole arsenal of special feng shui tools, you can achieve an additional influx of positive energy, as well as neutralize negative energy. This goal can be achieved with the help of mirrors, special screens, bells, mobiles and living pictures.

Feng Shui apartments: how to define zones

It is possible to divide the entire area of the dwelling into conditional zones, as required by the feng shui of the apartment, using a magic square (Lo-shu square) or a Bagua grid.

What is Bagua Mesh?

According to ancient legend, this grid was drawn by the gods on the shell of a huge turtle. Only the great sage Fu Xi managed to decipher the essence of the mysterious trigrams on each side of the regular octagon almost two millennia ago.

The practice of feng shui claims that all events in human life can be conditionally reduced to nine life categories. Collected in a strictly defined order, they make up the Bagua symbol (or grid). Each of these nine zones has an equal size, corresponds to a certain area of life and is responsible for health, love, career, etc.

  • By imposing a Bagua grid on the marked plan of an apartment, you can determine the location of certain zones in different parts of it, as well as their effect on the behavior and health of its inhabitants. The first step is to determine the Career zone: this can be done by combining the north on the Yandex map and the north on the apartment plan.

  • Using the compass directions of the map and the Bagua grid, you can easily determine the location of the remaining eight zones.
  • In irregularly shaped apartments, the presence of the southwest and southeast zones is desirable, but sometimes this is not possible.

If this or that area of the Bagua grid is absent on the plan of the apartment, falling out of it, this absence can be harmonized by strengthening this sector in the living room, overlaying the grid on the plan of this room and determining the location of the missing sector in a separate room.

  • When defining the zones of the living space, it should be noted that the plan of the apartment must fit into the square, and regardless of the configuration of this room. In the case of using a Bagua grid in the shape of an octagon, its sides must be extended to obtain a square shape: this will make it easier to identify the missing zones.

Feng Shui apartments: front door

The front door plays an important role in the circulation of vital energy, since it is it that opens the door to this life-giving force.

  • The area in front of the entrance to the house should be open and large enough so that beneficial energy can accumulate on it, and the unobstructed front door should open unhindered, allowing the flow of accumulated energy into the house. The process of accumulating energy in front of the front door occurs continuously, and people entering and leaving the room make this flow circulate.

In order for the vital energy to enter the house in a wide stream, the front door must open into the room. If this is not the case, you can hang the door on the other side by first transferring the door hinges to it.

  • The front door that protects the apartment must be solid and reliable. Feng Shui does not recommend using a glass door as an entrance door.
  • The size of the front door is of no small importance, since its too large size will be a source of financial problems, and too small a door can provoke quarrels and conflicts among household members. The best option is a medium-sized entrance door.
  • In order not to block the flow of beneficial qi energy, the front door should open without any difficulty. Skewed and creaking entrance doors, blocking access to the flow of positive energy, can provoke adverse consequences (both for the inhabitants of the apartment and for the home itself).

The front door should be beautiful, because together with the beauty of the entrance design, harmony, prosperity and success will enter the life of all household members. Using feng shui symbols in front of the entrance to the house will prevent the penetration of negative energy.

  1. South-facing doors can be painted red or green (yellow and brown are also acceptable).
  2. For doors in the east direction, black, blue or green colors are suitable.
  3. North-facing doors can be painted white, black or blue (but brown or green are contraindicated for them).
  4. Doors facing west can be painted with metallic paint. Doors painted white with light shades of gold or silver will look very impressive.

It can be a horseshoe hanging with the ends up, "wind chime" with 7 to 9 tubes, or several bundles of Chinese coins. And if you hang a small crystal ball near the door (under the ceiling of the hallway), it will take on the role of converting negative energy into positive and at the same time will dissipate it.

Feng Shui rules for an apartment

In order to harmonize the flows of positive energy in your home, it is not enough to activate the zones in it, in accordance with the Bagua grid. There are simple rules, observing which, you can achieve complete harmony with the surrounding reality.

  • One of the basic requirements of feng shui is maintaining cleanliness and order in each of the living quarters, since this is directly related to the state of the souls of the people living in them.

Feng Shui rules prohibit storing unnecessary trash in front of the entrance to the apartment, since it attracts a stream of destructive energy.

For the same reason, there should be no brooms, rags, mops or dirty shoes in the hallway. Keeping the front door in a tidy state will protect the house from the influence of evil forces, and its strength and reliability from the penetration of thieves.

Feng Shui attaches great importance to the size and cleanliness of windows ("the eye of the house"). If they are large, it is very good for the penetration of sunlight and the circulation of beneficial qi energy inside the premises. Dust and dirt on the window panes indicate the accumulation of negative energy, which can be eliminated by regularly washing them.

There should be no bars, no heavy curtains, no blinds on the windows - nothing that can prevent the life-giving energy flow from entering the house.

It is equally unacceptable to clutter up the windowsills with a large number of flower pots: this can also create obstacles to the free circulation of qi energy.
The hostess can limit herself to a couple of beautiful and healthy plants. The only exceptions are cacti: in no case should they be placed near the window.

  • Another important rule of feng shui practice is to create conditions for the unhindered circulation of life-giving qi energy throughout all rooms of the apartment. This can be done by regularly freeing your home from unnecessary things. .

Old and broken objects that have become obsolete have the ability to accumulate negative energy around them, so from time to time it is necessary to put things in order in cupboards, on kitchen shelves, in drawers of desks and dressers.

Without regret, one should part with the trash that has accumulated in them (especially with dozens of empty glass jars that have been gathering dust on the mezzanine for years) and expired products.

In the home first-aid kit and personal cosmetic bag, too, a lot of expired medicines and cosmetics often accumulate, getting rid of which you will improve the atmosphere of your own home.

  • Periodic rearrangement of objects in rooms (according to the deep conviction of the Chinese) can prevent the stagnation of qi energy. In this case, it is not at all necessary to move the furniture: it is quite enough to change the location of twenty-seven objects in the apartment: for example, change the places of the vase and the photo frame, or put a banquet against the opposite wall.

Home library owners should be aware that a large number of books attract negative energy. It can be dispersed, from time to time rearranging the books on the shelves and wiping them with a cloth moistened with a solution of ordinary salt, which is capable of destroying mental pollution.

Do you want to always have money in your wallet? Then don't forget to close the toilet lid and the toilet door.

A leaking cistern or water tap must be eliminated immediately, since this malfunction can provoke an outflow of well-being and money.

  • Bright lighting attracts positive energy, therefore the apartment should be brightly lit... Burnt out light bulbs must be replaced immediately with new ones.
  • Periodic use of scented lamps and candles enhances the positive energy.

Feng Shui Apartments: Wealth Zone

In the area of wealth, a fountain symbolizing abundance (or a picture with its image) will be appropriate. An aquarium with goldfish swimming in it can be a good alternative to a fountain.

  • When activating the wealth zone, it is necessary to place several traditional symbols of abundance in it. Most often, for this, they choose a figurine of a money frog holding gold coins in its mouth. Her head must be directed towards the inside of the room, so that there is a feeling that the frog has come from outside, bringing prosperity to the house. When designing the wealth sector, one should show a sense of proportion and not overload it with a lot of traditional Chinese symbols.
  • In this corner of the apartment, you can place the hieroglyph of wealth and a bunch of Chinese coins tied with a red cord.

Feng Shui apartment number

Numerology is one of the tools used by Feng Shui specialists to attract well-being and success to a person's destiny. Feng Shui practice claims that even the number of an apartment can influence its owner.

To determine the apartment number in Feng Shui, all the numbers that make up the address of the person of interest to us are added one by one. The resulting one-digit number as a result of folding is considered the apartment number in Feng Shui.

This number creates certain vibrations, which have their own specific influence on the fate of the people living in this apartment.

We will not dwell on the characteristics of each number, since this information can be easily found on the Internet. We only note that the owners of private houses can also use this method to determine the number of their home.

Feng Shui in a studio apartment

It is not easy to comply with all the requirements of Feng Shui in a small apartment, but something is possible:

Feng Shui apartment color

The correct feng shui of an apartment is unthinkable without a well-chosen color scheme.

  • The color scheme of living quarters, divided into zones, according to the requirements of Feng Shui, of course, should correspond to the color of the sectors on the bagua grid, but at the same time it is necessary to be guided by your own taste.
  • If you don't like a particular color, you shouldn't use it. Do not tolerate bright colors - choose shades and midtones.
  • Choose the color of the walls in the rooms based on their purpose, your own mood and associations with which each color is associated.

How are feng shui colors interpreted?

Any thing or living space has its own unique energy. Many are trying to equip their home in such a way that all family members and guests are comfortable here. An ancient teaching from China - Feng Shui, which is more than 2 thousand years old, can help in this.

The name, consisting of a couple of words, is translated as air-water. The doctrine says that certain zones are responsible for any sphere of human life, and the living space is divided into them. Having properly arranged this or that site, it is possible to achieve success in life.

There are 9 Feng Shui zones in the apartment, represented on the Ba-Gua octagon in the form of career, family, children, wealth, health, fame, love, career and wisdom. According to ancient history, about 2 thousand years ago, a large turtle came ashore, the shell of which was decorated with a divine message in the form of trigrams arranged in an orderly circle. They were deciphered by a sage named Fu Xi. Ba-Gua consists of eight trigrams turned to the cardinal points, and the ninth is located in the center.

Finding zones

In order to independently delimit the feng shui zones in your home in the correct order, you should get a compass, an apartment plan and an octagonal Ba-Gua grid.

First of all, with the help of a compass, the place in the house is determined where the north is. This is the starting point. Having marked the north on the plan, they combine it with the Ba-Gua trigram, which is responsible for the career, laying out the grid on the plan, it becomes clear where a specific zone is located in the house.

However, due to modern non-standard layouts, the apartment plan does not always fit into the Ba-Gua grid. Often, some areas simply drop out. It is possible to harmonize the missing areas by strengthening them in the largest room - the living room. To do this, the room is divided into sectors by the same method so that the dropped zones are included in the Ba-Gua grid.

After delimiting the space into zones, you can begin to activate each separate sphere.

Feng shui rules

Feng Shui of an apartment depends not only on the competent activation of a particular area, but also on adherence to general rules.

The most important rule is keeping cleanliness in every corner of the living space. The Teaching prohibits the accumulation and storage of unnecessary things, as this contributes to the accumulation of destructive energy.

Great attention is paid to the windows. They must be kept clean. Through large openings, the beneficial energy of "qi" well penetrates inside. Dust and dirt on the glass indicates the accumulation of bad energy. It is also unacceptable to clutter up the windowsills with a large number of flower pots.

All old, broken, unnecessary things and equipment must be thrown out of the house, as they accumulate negative energy. The same applies to the first-aid kit and the ladies' cosmetic bag.

In order for a good feng shui of an apartment to be present constantly, it is often necessary to move objects in rooms. Then the “qi” energy will be able to circulate freely in space. To do this, it is enough to change the arrangement of any 27 objects in the house, for example, swap the places of the photo frames or outweigh the pictures.

All plumbing must work flawlessly, and the bathroom and toilet must remain perfectly clean. And to attract cash flows, you should close the toilet lid.

Bright lighting contributes to the strong attraction of positive energy flows. Therefore, the entire apartment should be well lit, any burned out light bulbs are immediately thrown away.

It is important to correctly arrange the furniture in the apartment according to Feng Shui. To do this, knowing the Ba-Gua zones, it is necessary to arrange the main furniture items in their places.

Activation of Ba-Gua zones

So, in order for favorable energy flows to penetrate the house and begin to have a beneficial effect on the life of household members, after dividing the space into separate zones, each of them should be activated.

Career (north) - it can be activated by enhanced lighting, placing the "wind chime" accessory. If there is a goal to consolidate career successes, then pictures or photographs with calm water placed in the zone will help.

A figurine of a wise turtle will support your success in your career. If the focus is on career advancement, then any office paraphernalia placed here will additionally saturate this site.

Knowledge and wisdom (north-east direction) - ideally place a study room or library here. All mental endeavors will be successful here. Any things related to training will activate the site. It is forbidden to place any cutting objects here.

Travel (northwest) - activating this site, helpers appear in difficult matters. Here you need to place figurines of divine guardians, photos of mentors for spiritual practices. It is possible to influence travel by placing photos of places for future trips, vehicles in the zone. Better not to leave broken things here.

Family (east) - element - tree, color - green. This site symbolizes loved ones. Family photos, types of forest landscapes, plants, potted flowers and things made of wood are posted here.

It is strictly forbidden to leave metal objects, images of the dead, herbariums and dried flowers here. And the presence of sharp or stabbing objects provokes additional quarrels.

Children and creativity (west), color - white. It is better to place bronze figurines here in the form of divine defenders, children's drawings and crafts, living indoor plants or a flowerpot with real flowers. The presence of dried flowers is unacceptable.

Wealth (southeast direction). The site has a direct relationship with material well-being. Any symbolism of money, objects with precious stones, a vessel with silver water should be placed in this zone.

An aquarium in which goldfish live is appropriate, or accessories in the form of red fish. A miniature fountain, a money tree in a pot, is also suitable.

Slava (south) - responsible for social status. All existing awards and diplomas, statuettes in the form of birds of prey should be moved to this zone, the main thing is that they are not made of wood.

Love, marriage (southwestern part). Be sure to place an image with your beloved here. Characteristic for this site are paired objects in the form of mandarin ducks, pigeons, butterflies. It is also necessary to store erotic paraphernalia and literature here. It is forbidden to bring here photos with lonely sad people, climbing plants.

Health (center) color - lemon or orange-orange. Here you should put a pot of earth, objects made of wood. The area will be decorated with images of landscapes with water, natural paintings. Symbolic items in the form of a pine or bamboo branch, figurines of a crane or a deer will only help to activate this area.

Feng Shui odnushki

It is still possible to arrange a one-room apartment in Feng Shui, even despite its small area. To do this, you need to free space from unnecessary and bulky things so that the "qi" energy could circulate freely.

Using the Ba-Gua octagon, you need to delimit the zones, and then also activate each by placing the necessary attributes.

Feng Shui design photos of a small apartment show that any room can be both beautiful and energetically positively charged if you follow simple recommendations and tips.

Photo of the basics of feng shui apartments

The practice of Feng Shui is aimed at harmonizing the energies within which a person lives. With the correct development of space, you can achieve positive results in all areas of life.

The feng shui of an apartment requires a serious approach. Based on Eastern practice, it is necessary to clearly delineate the zones and place symbolic attributes in them that will concentrate the flows of positive Qi energy in the right place.

Recently, many have become interested in various practices for a harmonious home arrangement. Using the postulates of the doctrine, it is necessary to clearly delineate the zones of living quarters and correctly arrange the symbols in order to activate positive processes. At the same time, negative flows are weakened or completely neutralized.

Feng Shui is used to activate positive processes

Feng Shui of an apartment opens up opportunities for its tenants, helps to establish family relationships, make good profits, promotes career growth and improves health. All this happens without much effort on the part of the person. The main condition is knowledge of the fundamental laws of Taoist practice.

Feng Shui interior arrangement

When arranging Feng Shui apartments, it is necessary to pay attention not only to global issues, but also to smaller ones. There are several basic rules, adherence to which will help to control your life.

  • Maintaining cleanliness. The presence of trash leads to the closure of favorable streams and stagnant energy - Sha accumulates in these places.

It is very important to clean your home regularly.

  • Getting rid of unnecessary items of clothing. Only an empty space can attract the emergence of a new one. No need to regret that it is no longer useful. If it is a pity to throw out the clothes, then they can be given to the needy.

Get rid of unnecessary clothing

  • Repair of all inoperative appliances. Not everyone has the opportunity to throw out broken expensive equipment, as can be done with clothes. However, the presence of inoperative appliances in the house also leads to stagnation. It is necessary to do small and global repairs of what lends itself to it, and everything else must be disposed of.

Throw out non-working household appliances

  • There should be no broken dishes in the house. This tradition is voiced not only in the teachings of Feng Shui. Broken dishes were traditionally considered a bad omen, and they got rid of them.

Do not keep broken dishes at home

  • In order for all zones in the apartment to work for the benefit of the owners, it is necessary to achieve good lighting at any time of the day. During the day they should be illuminated by the sun's rays, and in the evening - from lamps, sconces and lamps. In the dark, stagnant energy is formed that can spoil life in all its manifestations.

All areas of the apartment must be well lit

  • Cleanliness should be not only in furniture and things. Feng Shui involves frequent repairs. Ceilings and walls should not be dusty, and cracks have a detrimental effect on all processes taking place in the apartment.

Renovate your apartment regularly

  • Energy should circulate freely throughout the apartment. That is why there should be no heavy bulky furniture in rooms and corridors. The forced space will not let the wind of change in the home.

Don't make the apartment bulky with furniture

  • One of the rules for decorating an apartment according to Feng Shui is the correct setting of the doors. In the rooms, they must open inward, the only exceptions are the toilet and the bathroom.

Interior doors must open inward

  • Nothing should hang from the ceiling in the bed area. In all other places, sharp objects in the upper part of the room should be avoided.
  • The apartment should not have neglected uninhabited places. Rooms in which old rubbish is collected negatively affect the entire space. You cannot arrange warehouses for dirty dishes and linen. Only purity can open the way for energy.
  • The abundance of plants and the presence of animals have a beneficial effect on the aura of the room. Many areas of an apartment in Feng Shui suggest the presence of indoor flowers in pots.

Indoor plants have a beneficial effect on the aura of the room

  • The main rule of housing registration in the framework of Eastern practices is the desire of a person to return home. If all household members are cozy and comfortable in the apartment, then everything has been done correctly, and the all-encompassing Qi energy has begun to work.

To run positive energy into your home, you need to keep it clean. Dirt and neglected places create negativity and inhibit development. External cleanliness is not an indicator of complete well-being. All problems are hidden in hard-to-reach places, so the cleaning of premises must be comprehensive and global.

To clear your living space, you need to sort out the wardrobes and dressers. Anything that can no longer be worn must be ruthlessly thrown away. Keeping junk prevents new things from coming to life. While the closet is full of unnecessary clothes, new clothes will not appear in it.

Get rid of unnecessary junk without regret

The same can be said about non-working equipment, watches and broken dishes. If they are to be repaired, then this should be done without delay. Even one non-working clock can slow down the time and prevent positive energy from entering the home. Broken dishes must be thrown away immediately, guided by the truth that a broken cup cannot be glued together. Light and heat will not appear if you do not throw out all non-working lighting fixtures and bulbs.

In order for the Feng Shui of an apartment to be complete, it is necessary to decorate the dwelling with plants. They symbolize prosperity and growth in all areas of human life. Animals are also welcome guests in the house. Where they live, there can be no bad energy.

Animals maintain good energy in the house

When equipping your apartment, you must remember that this is a gradual process and you do not need to do everything at once. Drastic changes may not be beneficial.

Interior design in every room

If the house is large, then it is difficult to equip it, but it is even more difficult to work with a small apartment. It is necessary for everything to find the right place to open each energy zone.

Feng shui for the bedroom

Particular attention should be paid to the resting place. There should be nothing superfluous in the bedroom. All unnecessary things must be taken out immediately. At the moment of rest, a person is relaxed and defenseless, so negative energy can overtake him. To avoid this, it is necessary to remove items related to sports and work from the room, and fill the bedroom with peace and tranquility.

The room should not contain a lot of furniture, it clutters up the space. It is not necessary to place heavy objects on the walls of the bedroom, they inspire fear on a subconscious level and deprive you of peace. The door to the room must open inward.

Organization of a bedroom in Feng Shui

The bed should be in the center of the room or diagonally. The door should not be opposite, but it should be seen. The fireplace cannot be in the back. The best place for a bed will be the Love Zone.

There should be no things in open places, there are wardrobes for this. Everything that lies outside clutters up the space. There should be no electrical appliances in the bedroom; in extreme cases, they should be turned off during sleep. In order for love to reign in a relaxation room, you cannot force it with small items on the shelves. All this distracts people from the true purpose of the bedroom.

There should be no household appliances in the bedroom

Feng shui for living room

A large crystal chandelier can become the centerpiece of the living room. It helps attract positive energy. The chandelier will provide sufficient lighting to activate all areas.

A crystal chandelier will attract positive energy

The living room does not like sharp corners and objects. When choosing furniture, one must not forget about it. Round tables, soft armchairs, a slide with oval shapes will give the room a living look. Even plants should not have sharp leaves.

When setting up your living room, try to avoid sharp corners in the furniture.

Electrical appliances have a great influence on the activation of energy in an apartment. They need to be placed in areas of wealth, love, children, and careers. These sectors most often require increased stimulation. The Family area in the living room should be equipped with a cozy sofa and decorated with flowers. This will allow you to achieve harmony in the relationship.

Feng shui for the kitchen

The kitchen is where the family hearth is located. He should also be given due attention. If the kitchen is located correctly, then the design will not take much time. It is enough to arrange the objects as needed.

Arrangement of furniture in the kitchen according to Feng Shui

  • The hearth or slab is set in the south.
  • The southeast is set aside for the refrigerator.
  • A wooden element must be placed between the ice and the flame.
  • The two main elements of a kitchen must be kept clean at all times.

The rules apply not only to large, but also to small items and utensils. Stabbing, cutting tools and spoons must be hidden in cabinets. Electrical appliances tend to stimulate energy, so they must be placed in stagnant zones. You cannot cook with your back to the door. This affects the quality of the food. The light in the room should be placed in such a way that there are no dark corners. There is fire and water in the kitchen, so you need to dilute them with wood. This element in the interior brings energy to balance.

All corners of the kitchen should be well lit

Feng shui for bathroom

Water has a very powerful force. Her energy can make a person rich or completely ruin him. Bathroom and toilet doors must always be tightly closed. It is preferable if they are painted white or shades of blue.

One of the main conditions for the arrangement of a bathroom and toilet is the complete serviceability of all plumbing. The water flowing out of the tap can take money, fame, health and all other benefits with it. The doors of these rooms must open outward.

The bathroom door must open outward

There are no unimportant and unimportant corners in the apartment. Each of them contains powerful streams of energy that must be activated correctly.

The Power of Feng Shui Mirrors

In many beliefs, mirrors have magical powers, and oriental practices have not ignored them. Feng Shui of an apartment assumes their correct placement in order to achieve a positive result and life advancement. The main point in this is given to what the mirror reflects. According to the canons of Eastern practice, it should not be located in the following places:

  • Opposite the outlet openings. Energy of strength, wealth and happiness leave through windows and doors.
  • To keep love, you need to remove the mirrors from the bedroom. If they are needed there, then the reflection should not represent the bed.
  • To prevent the housewife from feeling tired, the mirror should not be located in the kitchen, opposite the stove.

Feng Shui mirror placement

In order for the Feng Shui of an apartment to be observed, you need to know where the mirror surfaces should be placed.

  • If you can see the kitchen table in the reflection, where the whole family gathers, this allows you to attract wealth and prosperity.
  • A mirrored hallway will expand the boundaries of space and, as a result, your own horizons.

A mirrored hallway will expand horizons

In order not to lose part of your soul, you cannot look into a cracked or broken mirror. It must be thrown away immediately, after rinsing. Practitioners argue that information about the owner is deleted in this way.

Feng Shui loves cleanliness. Mirrors, placed correctly, but dirty and dusty, will only do harm. Washing them will get rid of negative energy. When buying rare copies, you need to be careful. There is a memory in the mirror that can bring trouble to the new owner.

Keep your mirrors clean

Feng Shui zones in an apartment

For a happy and fulfilling life, according to Taoist practice, it is necessary to observe the Feng Shui zones in the apartment. Each of them has a different color palette and must contain a special character. This helps to open the flow of positive energies and change the life of the inhabitants of the dwelling in the right direction. There are several main areas:

  • Wealth;
  • Love and marriage;
  • Health;
  • Careers;
  • Wisdom and knowledge;
  • Assistants and Travel;
  • Families;
  • Children and Creativity;
  • Glory.

Division into zones according to Feng Shui

Each zone requires attention. If you follow all the advice of practice, you can find yourself in the epicenter of positive energies.

How to distribute Feng Shui zones in an apartment

Everyone who has decided to distribute zones in an apartment according to Feng Shui should get acquainted with the Bagua grid, which reflects eight aspects of human life. According to Eastern teachings, they are the most important and constitute the circle of interests of everyone.

There is an ancient legend about this. About two thousand years ago, a turtle appeared on the seashore. Trigrams were depicted on her carapace, corresponding to the nine aspects of life. Fu Xi, the great sage, managed to unravel the divine message. This is how people got the Bagua mesh. Now, in order to influence your life, you need to purposefully direct your forces to the right part of the room.

Bagua mesh

In order to correctly find the zones in an apartment according to Feng Shui, you need to find a house plan, a compass and a Bagua grid. A large-scale image will help you quickly navigate the terrain. What should be done?

  • It is easier to start the delimitation process from the north. To find it accurately, you need to use a compass.
  • The apartment plan must be divided into nine equal parts.
  • If you superimpose the compass readings on the plan, then the quarry zone will be located exactly in the north. This landmark and Bagua grid will help distribute all the other squares.

Finding zones in an apartment according to Feng Shui is not as difficult as activating their work. This will require a lot of symbolic crystals and even more practical knowledge.

Overlaying the Bagua grid on the floor plan

Career Zone

The Feng Shui Career Zone is located in the north. She belongs to the water element, so she prefers colors such as blue and black. The sector's symbolic sign is a turtle.

To activate this area of your life, you need to place the wind chime, the sign of your zodiacal constellation in the zone, and also fill it with bright light. A small fountain helps for career growth, a picture depicting calm water contributes to the acquisition of stability. The Feng Shui Career Zone will receive powerful support from the turtle figurine.

The turtle will provide powerful support to the Career Zone

People looking for great achievements at work or wanting to start a business can resort to additional stimulation of positive energy. In this part of the apartment, you need to put office equipment and add photos of your colleagues at work. The Feng Shui Career Zone will certainly start working if you equip it with a crystal of the appropriate purpose.

Place the crystal in the career area

Zone of Wisdom and Knowledge

In the northeast is the Feng Shui Knowledge Zone. Its element is a hard surface - earth, so it has the corresponding colors, beige and yellow. In this place, talents are revealed faster, and mental activity becomes more active. The Feng Shui Knowledge Zone is perfect for a study or library.

The activation of this room is directly related to its purpose. In this area, you can put educational or cult books, put a globe or hang a map. To quickly master a foreign language, dictionaries can be put in the wisdom sector.

Place a small book rack in the Knowledge area

The Feng Shui Knowledge Zone does not tolerate the presence of cutting and stabbing objects, disposable reading materials and symbols of cruelty in it. On the contrary, a transparent shell with a pearl will activate positive energy.

Assist and Travel Area

In the northwest is the Feng Shui Assistants Zone. Its element is large metal, which corresponds to the following colors: white, gold and silver. As an activator of the sector, you can use a statuette of the Patron of Ganesha and photographs of spiritual mentors.

Place a Ganesha statuette in the helper sector

The Feng Shui Assistant Zone gives a person patrons, helps in difficult life situations and at turning points of fate. Knowing the astrological number and date of birth of the desired patron, you can attract his energy. It is enough for the Feng Shui Assistants' zone to be equipped with his zodiac sign.

In order to go on a journey, it is necessary to activate this aspect of energy. In the sector, it is necessary to place photos or collages with places that you want to visit, all kinds of transport and travelers. The Feng Shui Assistant Zone does not tolerate broken things, firearms and all sorts of frank pictures. But the beneficial effect of bright lighting will be noticeable immediately.

Hang a collage with country photos in the travel area

Family and Health Zone

In the east is the territory of small metal - the Feng Shui Family zone. Her color scheme includes green and all its shades. Growing bamboo can become a symbol and activator of this sector.

Growing bamboo - activator of the Family sector

The Feng Shui Family Zone should be bright and not contain unnecessary things. It is good to put photos of your loved ones and wooden crafts in it. A good option would be if they are made by hand. Potted flowers can be used to decorate the family sector.

Place wood crafts in the Family sector

So that well-being does not leave the house, it is necessary to ensure that the Feng Shui Family zone will not be framed in metal. It should not contain dried flowers, herbaria, photographs of the deceased, sharp objects and thorny plants. Also, there is no need to immortalize pets in this zone. In order to prevent intrigue and gossip, weaving flowers must be removed from the family sector.

Kids and Creativity Zone

In the west there is a zone of Children and Creativity in Feng Shui. Small metal colors match white, gold and silver. Sector activation depends on the goals, and in connection with them there are several effective ways.

The correct device of the zone will help to solve the problems with raising children. It is necessary to place the zodiac symbols of your beloved children in it and provide bright lighting. The Feng Shui Children and Creativity Zone has its own patron. This is Netsuke Kid with a fish.

Netsuke Kid with a fish for the children's sector

To achieve complete family harmony, it is necessary to decorate the sector with bronze figurines of defenders, children's crafts, drawings and photographs. Everything should be light and uncomplicated. The Feng Shui Kids and Creativity Zone should not contain dried flowers, thorns and sharp objects. They will have a detrimental effect on relationships with younger family members. On the contrary, fresh bouquets and potted flowers help to activate the zone.

Potted flowers are child friendly

Wealth Zone

In the southeast is the Feng Shui Wealth Zone. Her element is a small tree, and a color scheme consisting of shades of green and purple. The financial component of life depends on this sector, which occupies one of the leading places.

Bright lighting will help in attracting Chi energy. This will help boost cash flow. Items made of precious metals or their symbols, a silver vase with water, aquarium fish or figurines with their images, preferably red, will become the obligatory attributes of the zone. For the rapid growth of prosperity, the Feng Shui Wealth Zone can be equipped with a small indoor fountain.

Small indoor fountain for wealth growth

It is favorably influenced by the abundance of vegetation, among which there should be a money tree. It will not be superfluous to place symbols of your zodiacal constellation in the Wealth zone. This will attract money to a specific person. You can complete the design with a Hotei figurine holding an ingot of gold. The Zone of Wealth according to Feng Shui should be filled with light and live energy of plants.

Feng Shui apartments.

Algorithm of actions.

Beginners apply feng shui usually get lost in a huge flow of information, because books and articles usually give scattered information, and they do not yet have a Teacher - a guide in the world of Feng Shui, who would tell:

  • what is important, not what is not (),
  • what to do first and what then ( algorithm of actions).

Since I really love clarity and really want to all you have achieved your goal - improved your life and become more happy, then I want to highlight these two most important, in my opinion, issues at the very beginning.

We have already talked about prioritization in the article. ... Now is the time to discuss the Action Algorithm.

In this article, we will go over the most important steps so that you have an algorithm of actions from start to finish. And then, in the next articles, courses and webinars, we will expand all these points in more detail.

So let's go.

3 Major Sequential Actions

when analyzing an apartment according to Feng Shui:

Step 1. Inspection.
You need to start first simply by examining the most important from the point of view of feng shui details of the house, apartment and landscape around the house.
Imagine that you are a doctor. You just need to first examine the patient. Our patient is your apartment. Look at her with a fresh look, as if from the side.

Action 2. Diagnosis.
Then draw conclusions about what is favorable from what he saw and what is not, comparing these conclusions with real life. Does it match? If so, we are on the right track. If not, an error has crept in somewhere. Maybe in dimensions? Or something else? Go back to the starting points and try to find the mistakes you made.

Step 3. Treatment
We make a decision about what and how to change so that the unfavorable factors obtained during the analysis can turn to our advantage.

Please do not jump over these points, otherwise you will again get confused and will not understand in the end why the rearrangement inside the room did not give results. Just follow the order and everything will work out for sure!

At the 1st stage of the analysis, we do not decide how to change something unfavorable. For now, we are just looking, because first we must make a diagnosis, and only then treat it. Do you agree?

Do you promise that you won't be upset when you see that something is wrong? I will definitely tell you later about how to create a favorable feng shui from an unfavorable one, but you must have a little patience.

Now let's take a closer look at "Action 1".

Step 1. Inspection.

1. Checking how the multi-storey building is located in relation to the landscape.

Go outside.

a) See if there is one visible from the house water(river, pond, sea, bay, swamp, quarry, just a fountain or a large ditch, but constantly filled with water, etc.). Is she clean? Smells good? Or stinks?

Record what you see:
Water: yes, no
clean-dirty-average

b) Is there raising-lowering the landscape(Look, maybe on some side of the house there is at least a slight increase in the terrain, on the other - a decrease in the terrain. This is important, look carefully, even a small change in the landscape is already important).

2. Checking how the multi-storey building is located relative to other buildings.

Go outside.

a) Look at the right, left and back of the house. What buildings (objects) are located there: houses the same height as yours? Above? Below?
b) Are there any destroyed objects? Unfinished abandoned? Or are they digging the foundation for a new house there? Lap?

3. Determine which direction your house is facing.

For this action we need a compass.
Of course, it is advisable to have a professional compass called a lopan.
But at the entry-level, a good tourist might be fine.

When choosing a compass, it is desirable that it be:
liquid (the base with the marked degrees rotates with the arrow),
very good quality,
with plotted degrees, in as frequent steps as possible so that you can distinguish, for example, where 177.5 degrees is.

Lopan

Tourist liquid compass

How to take a measurement:

Take a compass, preferably a liquid one, go out into the street, lean the compass against the driveway from the street side (even an iron one, it doesn’t matter, it’s necessary, believe me) in the center of the door about a meter from the lower opening.

  • If you have a liquid compass, see how many degrees the perpendicular points to the door at a point just outside the door. Write down these degrees.
  • If you do not have a liquid compass, but one in which you need to align the dial with the north arrow, then attach the compass to the door, align the arrow with the lines marked for it, write down the obtained degrees also on the perpendicular to the door.

PS1 Don't look at the direction map, measure yourself. We are interested in measurements. What exactly is the difference between directions on the map and compass directions - in our subsequent lessons, but, believe me, it is there and, at times, very significant).

PS2 If the measurements did not work the first time, do not worry, in subsequent lessons I will tell and show in more detail how to do this.

4. How the apartment is located in the building on the floor.

a) Find floor plan or draw yourself, but preferably at least roughly to scale. We'll need it to make notes later.

b) Stand up back to the front door into your apartment, facing the common corridor. Look straight ahead. Don't turn your head to the right and left. Just look straight. What do you see? Check the box next to the option below. Or add your own version.

  • The wall.
    1. Compare. Is the distance to this wall and the distance from the wall inside the apartment greater?
    2. Compare. Is the distance to this wall and the distance inside the apartment to the wall less?
    3. Compare. Is the distance to this wall and the distance inside the apartment to the wall the same?
  • Another door.
    1. Is the door you see wider than your front door?
    2. Is the door you see narrower than your front door?
    3. Is the door you see located exactly opposite your front door or is it offset?
  • Ledge
Is the protrusion smooth? With corners? If with corners, then the corners "look" at your front door
  • Elevator
  • Garbage bin
  • Other... Write what exactly:

c) Now stand up facing your front door and from the side of the common corridor. AND look at the door itself, to the right and left of it on the wall and the jamb.

  • The door is not lopsided? Close up close?
  • Are there any cracks in the wall or jamb to the right of the door?
  • Are there any cracks in the wall or jamb to the left of the door?
  • There is none of this. Is everything clean and smooth?

5. What is the shape of the apartment.

Take a look at the floor plan. Trace it around the outline.

a) Apartment shape correct... If your apartment is completely rectangular or square, without large protrusions.
b) Apartment shape wrong... If you try to fit the plan of an apartment into a rectangle along its outer walls, then “voids” are formed inside, or we call them “missing sectors”. Is there such a thing?

6. In which sector is the front door to the apartment.

Remember, in point 3, we took measurements of the front door on the street? We get these degrees. See the table below.

WITH we refer these measurements to the plan of your apartment.
We arrange directions according to the apartment plan: corner-center-corner.

Now let's see where the front door is located? Which sector? Central? Or in the corner? We write down the received data.

P.S. In this case, no additional action is required. You do not need to use any templates, no "pies in a circle", you do not need to mark 9 squares (this is for those who have read or heard something somewhere, read the article). Just write the directions as shown in the figure below using the center-corner scheme.

SECRET!

If the door is not quite in the corner, but next to it (from half a meter to one and a half), and in the corner itself there are no separate rooms (toilet, wardrobe and others), then the door will also be considered corner - it is located in the corner sector.

And the same situation, but in the corner there is some kind of, albeit small, but room, then the door will be considered central (= located in the central sector).
Compare the pictures below.

Example # 1 - the door is in the central sector (South).

Example # 2 - the door is in the corner sector (Southwest).

Example 1

Example 2

7. What we see in the hallway.

Stand with your back to the front door, but now inside the apartment. What do you see?

  • Clearly opposite door to another room door to door.
  • On the contrary, there is a door to another room, but the door to the room is offset in relation to the front door.
  • Just a wall.
  • Long corridor.
  • Clearly opposite the door to the toilet.
  • Wardrobe with open shelves.
  • Mirror (cabinet with mirrors)
  • Hanger on piled clothes and shoes.
  • Open-close the front door. Nothing prevents its complete opening? Shoes outside the door, bicycles, boxes, or something else?

8. In which sector (direction) is the toilet in the apartment.

Now refer back to the directional plan we made in step 8.
Look, in which sector (direction) the toilet is located... It is a toilet, not a bathroom, if you have separate ones. If they are combined, then we consider the whole room as a toilet.

9. In which sector (direction) is the kitchen in the apartment.

Just write down the sector where the kitchen is located, as we did for the front door in step 6 and for the toilet in step 8. Write down the result.

10. In which sector (direction) is the stove in the kitchen

Now draw a plan (preferably to scale) of just one kitchen.

Now, just transfer (sort of squeeze) the directions recorded for the entire apartment for the kitchen only.

Made? Now look where is your stove?

SECRET!

For the slab, we are looking exactly at the corner-central zone. That is, if the slab does not stand in the corner, but lags behind it even at a distance of 30 centimeters, then the slab is in the central sector. In other words, the secret is that sectors do not have to be equal in width.

Compare the two examples below.

Example # 1 - the slab is in the central sector (the corner sector is occupied by a small table).

Example # 2 - the slab is in the corner sector.

11. In which sector (direction) are the bedroom, nursery, office in the apartment.

Write down the sector of their location, as we did for the front door in point 6 and for the toilet in point 8 and for the kitchen in the 9th. Write down the result.

12. In which sector is the bed in the room (in any: in the bedroom, nursery or living room)

We do everything in exactly the same way as we did for the stove in step 10, only now in the room in which there is the object on which they sleep. Write down the result.
