- Make a primer (dilute PVA glue with water in a ratio of 1: 2). Lubricate the stork. This will help reduce paint consumption.
- Paint the sculpture: the tail and wingtips are gray and black, the beak and legs are red.
- Paint the bird.
- Insert feathers into the neck of the canister and attach them to the walls with a stapler. Place the sculpture by burying the electrodes in the ground.

- The cut fragments are attached to the plywood base. This is done from the tail. Black stripes are attached first. They get off the lower part of the body, tail and wings.
- The rest of the bird is trimmed with white plastic stripes.
- The beak is covered with red nail polish.

- Styrofoam strips are glued to the central part of the body, giving volume. Wings are glued on top of them.

The most time-consuming and lengthy stage of preparatory work is the preparation of feathers. They will need a large number, of different lengths, shapes and colors: for the design of the wings and tail - long, dark and white, for the body - light smaller.

For plumage of the neck, small feathers are cut out and the ends are made in the form of teeth or fringes. You can decorate a long neck with large plates from halves of milk bottles, which are finely chopped around the edges.
