Back in 2016, deputies of the State Duma of Russia wanted to familiarize themselves with the draft law regarding the increase in scholarships for students undergoing training in the state order program, as well as graduate students. At the moment, the level of announced payment is considered so insignificant that the need to increase it exists far from the first year. According to experts, the scholarship payment does not meet modern prices, and therefore can not provide at least minimal needs of Russian students. To somehow bring ends with the ends, most young people have to look for the work on which they are instead of their direct responsibility - to learn.

Last year, the head of the Ministry of Education Dmitry Livanov insisted that scholarships had long time to index, based on the current state of inflationary processes in the country. It should be recalled that at that time the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed the Decree, according to which the plank of the subsistence minimum was moved, established at the level of 9662 rubles, which is much higher than the designation established by the legislation of scholarships. The calculation was very faithful - higher payments 2016 with more than pay themselves in 2017. 
Students will have more free time for studying and improving their own professional skills, as the level of promised scholarships in 2017-2018 should be sufficient for current human needs and payment of residence. As a result, the country will only win, because sooner or later I will give sensible specialists. I would like to add that even after its official increase, scholarship payments were not able to achieve the threshold of the minimum, which a person can count for a normal residence in Russia.
Scholarship size of this year
According to official information, in 2017-2018, students and graduate students of universities can count on the next level of remuneration for study.
1. The usual scholarship is 10 thousand rubles, but it is not available to every student. The exact size of such payments depends on the region of the arrangement of the educational institution, because the minimum scholarship is tied to the subsistence level, different for each individual Russian region. In some territories, such discrepancies reach several thousand rubles. The amount indicated at the beginning of 10 thousand rubles is available only to students of some metropolitan universities. 
2. The scholarship for bachelor, master's or specialist is only 1340 rubles per month - a very modest amount.
3. College students receive even more insignificant assistance from the state - 487 rubles.

6. A separate article of expenses is a presidential scholarship for young scientists, as well as students or graduate students who study on a full-time and conducting development in the development of the national economy. In some cases, such a scholarship can reach 23 thousand rubles.
7. The usual graduate student receives no more than 2.5 thousand rubles per month, while technical specialization is more expensive - 6.3 thousand rubles per month.

Scholarship is a mandatory payment of funds to students throughout their studies at the university. The payment of scholarships by the Federal Law "On Education in the Russian Federation" from 2012 is regulated. Students studying on a paid department do not receive a scholarship.
Scholarship to students in 2017 and its size depends on:

- Students who have undergone military service under the contract in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, the FSB of the Russian Federation for a period of at least three years.
Minimum scholarship size 2017 - 2010 rub. per month.
To obtain the right to pay social scholarships, the student must prepare and transfer documents to the social protection bodies, confirming the low level of income in the family, as well as a document confirming his training at the university at the expense of federal funds.
After the body, social protection issues a certificate for a social scholarship. It must be provided in the dean.
The payment of social scholarship is suspended in the event of academic debt. As soon as the debt is eliminated, the payment of scholarship continues.
Government Scholarship 2016/2017
The opportunity to get a government scholarship have students of high schools of universities (usually starting from the third course). Students of the Books cannot claim this scholarship.
The scholarship is promoting for outstanding progress in studies, scientific discoveries and inventions, victories at the competitions and competitions, writing articles.

The size of the presidential scholarship for 2016-2017
The scholarship is any allowance paid by students to improve their material conditions and ensure their learning opportunities. In Russia, the chief payer of scholarships is the state. It is it that pays most of the funds defined as scholarships.
