Lever

This type is a functional and stylish analogue of a valve mixer.

Divided into several types:

  1. Ball design for the bathroom is equipped with a round part with three holes for hot, cold and mixed water. The element is in tight contact with rubber gaskets. The mechanism begins to work with the help of an adjusting rod. The pressure depends on the area of ​​the combined holes.
  2. Cartridge system has two ceramic plates inside. The lower part is equipped with three holes, and the upper part serves as a mixer. The height of the device can reach from 700 mm to 1500 mm. The spout, valves, regulators, and fixture for the watering can are located in the upper part of the device.

The pipes are supplied along the floor, otherwise communications will have to be installed in the corners and covered with plasterboard.

Typically, such models are equipped with all modern accessories:

  • tropical system;
  • overhead shower.

The stand is equipped with small shelves for shaving accessories, cosmetics and hygiene products. The only drawback is the high cost.

Wall installation

The faucet can be fastened only if the pipes are embedded in the surface and brought to the connection point in advance.

The bathtub must fit tightly to the base, otherwise the water will splash and flow onto the floor.

It is optimal to place the fittings at a distance of 200-250 mm from the floor level, but please note that for use with a sink there must be a sufficiently long gib.

The step between the washbasin and the font matters.

Another option is to insert the mixer into the pipes.

Communications can play the role of additional design elements, especially if they are made of the same type of material or painted with the same paint.
