Types of gazebo projects

Gazebos are lightweight architectural structures of small size. Today, they are often made as combined kitchens with dining rooms, among which options with a barbecue, barbecue, fireplace or stove are especially popular. They combine everything you need for cooking and relaxation. There are three types of structures for such buildings.

    Open.

In most cases, they make a conical shape, the canopy is installed on solid supports. You can rest, eat, work in them, but only in warm and calm weather, therefore, they are mainly used only in the spring-summer period. Inside, benches and other furniture are placed, sometimes stationary stoves, portable barbecues, which are removed into the room for the winter period.

    Closed.

They are made in the form of a closed room, they can be used all year round. They are equipped with barbecues, barbecues, stationary ovens and various kitchen utensils. Often the walls are insulated, a fireplace is mounted inside, sometimes communications are brought in in the form of water supply, gas, electricity.

Types of stoves and barbecues for gazebos

Gazebos with barbecues are practical solutions, with their help you can comfortably prepare a variety of dishes in any weather. Depending on the type of gazebo, rainfall or wind will not interfere inside. In severe frosts, it is much warmer inside than in an open area, in addition, the building can be insulated. There are several types of barbecues in terms of functionality.

Stationary built-in structures are made of bricks, a stove, a grill and so on can be mounted in them. The functionality of the design allows you to cook any dish. The arrangement of the complex requires certain knowledge and skills, it is necessary to draw up a plan. Contacting qualified specialists will be the best solution.

There is also a mini-oven in Russian, where you can cook a wide variety of dishes. However, it is very rare in gazebos due to the complexity of the entire structure. Only experienced and competent specialists should work on such a project.

Gazebo material

BBQ gazebos are often used as a summer kitchen, for which they are equipped with countertops, sinks, sometimes dining groups, and so on. The design can be open or closed using a variety of materials. Recently, open gazebos and simple awnings have been very popular. When choosing a material, the aesthetics of the selected option and finish are taken into account. Important factors are the design of the gazebo, its dimensions, the resistance of the material to the negative effects of sunlight, precipitation and wind, its strength and heat resistance.

It doesn't matter what material the gazebo is made of, the main thing is to feel comfortable in it Source do.nn.ru

Gazebos are built from the following materials:

    Made of wood... Environmentally friendly material, easy to process, looks great on sites. The structure itself turns out to be quite light, so a massive foundation is not required. A good foundation will be needed when installing a stationary stove made of stone materials. For the production of a gazebo, a log, a bar, a board, decorative slats are used, sometimes an array is used, and so on. So that the material does not lose its appearance over time and serves as long as possible, periodic processing with protective compounds is required.

    Of stone... For the construction, stones or bricks are used, which gives the buildings special advantages - high strength, fire safety and great durability. It does not require constant surface treatment like wood. You should not save on materials and it is better to invite specialists in construction. In most cases, brick is used for construction, the material is cheaper and more affordable than stone. When building columns for a canopy or a full-fledged gazebo, you need to equip a solid foundation. Basically, the inside of the furnace is also made of refractory bricks.

    Made of metal... They include pipe supports and openwork walls, mainly made in the form of awnings. Various types of lattices, forged patterns are used. Very strong, can withstand heavy loads, durable, easy and quick to assemble, some models do not require a foundation. But they can get very hot, periodic painting and anti-corrosion treatment is required.

    Combined... A gazebo for a summer cottage with a barbecue can be erected using several types of building materials at the same time. This is a fairly common option that allows you to reduce the cost of the entire project while maintaining the durability and strength of the structure. When combined, you can use a profile made of metal, wood, brick, stone elements and so on. The most common combination is the use of brick and wood. Basically, the working area is decorated with bricks, and the recreation area - with wood.

Such solutions allow creating aesthetic, practical and modern designs that can withstand various negative natural phenomena. Thanks to the arrangement of the gazebo with additional elements (sink, countertop, sockets, and so on), the functionality of the structure increases, it can act as a full-fledged kitchen, dining room and outdoor recreation area. In this case, the gazebo itself can become a decoration of the entire site.

Design solutions

The design of the gazebo determines the style of the building, its size and shape. Projects of gazebos made of wood with barbecue and barbecue made of bricks or using other materials take into account the architecture of the entire complex of buildings on the site and the landscape itself. Basically, when building such structures, several directions are used: Provence, high-tech, classic, modern, Scandinavian, oriental or rustic style. The oriental and classical style is characterized by light sheds without ovens, barbecues or barbecues. Scandinavian style, Provence and country - a prerequisite for them barbecue, fireplace and barbecue.

The geometric shape of the structure can be any, there are no clear requirements. The most popular solution is the square shape. The configuration in them can also be very diverse. When determining the size, free space and the possibility of meeting large companies are taken into account.

Plot for a gazebo

When choosing projects for a gazebo for a barbecue at the dacha, it is necessary to prepare a site for a future structure. The selected site must meet certain requirements. If there are no embossed unevenness in the landscape design project, then you can pick up any place. In another case, you will need to level the area under the gazebo. The same applies to the presence of reservoirs. Arrangement of paths is recommended to the gazebo itself, for ease of access to the structure. The territory for construction must be freed from debris, vegetation, stones.

The design idea of the gazebo and the area around it should be in harmony with other buildings. In landscape design, the gazebo is a key element. When arranging the territory around it, one must be guided by certain rules. The area around the site should be in harmony with the type of soil. Climbing plants can be used to decorate the gazebo, shrubs and trees can be planted around. The illumination of the gazebo and the paths to it is also important.

A little about the price

Manufacturers offer to purchase ready-made gazebos that are assembled on site. You can also order the development of a new project or purchase an already developed one. The price can be influenced not only by the size of the future building, but the material used, as well as the equipment of the gazebo. For example, a structure made of wood is cheaper than a structure made of stone or metal. The construction price can be significantly increased by arranging a barbecue, stove or barbecue, connecting communications, purchasing furniture, building a foundation, and so on.

Source uprava77.ru

Manufacturers mainly offer wooden arbors, less often metal ones. Wooden models can be purchased at a price of 70-150 thousand rubles, but there are also options that are much more expensive. You can buy barbecue ovens for them for 30-70 thousand rubles. Models of gazebos with already provided ovens, barbecue or barbecue cost an average of 100-200 thousand rubles. Small metal models cost an average of 15-30 thousand rubles, there are models costing 40-80 thousand rubles. and more. The most expensive are stone and brick gazebos. In this case, you can order only a design project, but they must be erected directly at the designated place.

Conclusion

Gazebos for summer cottages with a stove and barbecue have recently become very popular and in demand. They are great for seasonal or year-round use. Depending on the size, type of project, equipment, a gazebo can be a good option for cooking and eating. Large structures allow you to spend whole holidays, meet guests or just relax in the fresh air. A large selection of materials will allow you to create exactly the model of the gazebo, which will be in perfect harmony with other buildings on the site and landscape design.

Any country cottage or summer cottage is intended not only for gardening work, they also imply a pleasant outdoor recreation. A self-made gazebo with a barbecue will become a favorite meeting place with friends and family.

Possible designs of summer terraces and types of stoves for them are described in the article "". Here we will consider the methods of their construction using the example of the simplest structures.

Before building any structure, it is necessary to draw up a project and make a drawing. It is necessary to take into account the place allocated for construction. It is better if it is at a short distance from the residential building, so that it is convenient to carry food, dishes and furniture there.

At the same time, you cannot build a terrace too close to the cottage and the neighboring site, otherwise the smoke from the barbecue will interfere with the quiet rest of the company, and the noise of fun may not like the neighbors.

The construction of all buildings and structures consists of several mandatory stages:

  • laying the foundation;
  • walling;
  • roof installation.

The choice of the type of foundation and its device

For summer gazebos, the following types of bases are suitable:

  • A pile support is capable of supporting lightweight structures such as timber or metal framed terrace.
  • The slab base is suitable for heavier structures, for example, for an open-type stone gazebo.
  • is necessary for a massive building of the winter type, for example, made of bricks.

It is important to understand that a stone oven is a rather heavy structure that requires a monolithic foundation. When using piles or a strip-type foundation as a support, it is necessary to pour a concrete base in the place where the hearth will be installed, and in accordance with its dimensions. A reinforced concrete layer 15–20 cm thick is sufficient. The solid slab is capable of handling the furnace load without reinforcement.

Installation of the pile foundation

If a decision is made to build a gazebo made of wood or metal in the country, you can make a base from piles. To do this, prepare four holes in the ground at the corners of the future building (it is convenient to use a drill). A layer of sand and gravel is poured onto the bottom, formwork is made of plywood or boards, metal rods are fixed for reinforcement. Inside, a pillar made of metal or wood is installed in the center and concrete is poured around it.

Thematic material:

There is a more convenient and easy option to build a pile foundation - to lay a pipe made of asbestos cement into the holes. And pour concrete into it. This method does not require the construction of formwork and material for the base pillar.

In addition, the piles can be installed ready-made - in the form of solid reinforced concrete supports. It is much faster, but lifting equipment will be required to transport and stack them.

A timber or metal profile is placed on the frozen pile-type base and a frame is made in the form of a square. From this frame, the subsequent erection of the walls is carried out.

Solid slab as foundation

For a slab base, it is necessary to remove the top layer of soil throughout the entire construction site. Here you need to take into account that it is better to make the slab larger in area than according to the gazebo project. It is good if the base will protrude 30–40 centimeters beyond the walls of the terrace. Such a blind area will prevent decay and corrosion of materials.

After removing 30–40 cm of the top layer, sand is poured into the resulting depression and rammed, followed by crushed stone. Metal fittings are laid along the bottom of the pit. It is evenly poured with concrete so that the height of the slab is 15–20 cm above ground level.

Tape type foundation

Solid gazebos need a solid foundation. A trench is dug for him around the perimeter of the structure. They ram the soil, fill in sand and gravel. Then formwork and reinforcement are made, concrete is poured. The formwork is removed only after the mortar has solidified, and the arbor frame is welded to the protruding ends of the reinforcement.

After the foundation has been built, a waterproofing layer must be laid. It can be any roll protection (roofing felt, roofing felt, dense polyethylene) or coating with bitumen mastic. There should be no direct contact of concrete parts with other materials - to avoid getting them wet.

Erection of wooden walls

The next step is the construction of the bearing racks and their strapping. The most common option is wood walls. The cost of the material is low, and the wood, due to its versatility, will perfectly fit into the design of a site of any style.

A square beam of at least 15 × 15 cm or round logs are used as racks. The beams connected along the perimeter of the foundation (base - square, circle, polygon) are fixed with anchor bolts. This is the bottom harness.

Logs are placed on it - the base for the floor, wood with a section of 10 × 10 cm.The columns are installed strictly vertically. For greater rigidity, it is necessary to repeat the strapping with a bar at a distance of 1–1.5 meters from the ground level. You can strengthen the structure with diagonal bars. The height of the columns must be at least 2.5 meters.

Along the edge of the uprights, you need to make the upper strapping. The rafters - the load-bearing part of the roof - will rest on it.

Walls can be sheathed with boards, built from logs, or left one or all sides of the gazebo open. Looks good . It protects well from the sun and.

When working with wood, it is important to remember its features, such as:

  • Highly flammable - near the barbecue you need to cover the wooden walls and the floor with a metal sheet, and treat the entire gazebo with a fire retardant.
  • Susceptibility to decay - the structure should be impregnated with warm linseed oil and painted with oil paint or opened with varnish. Every year you need to do an audit: check the condition of the tree, and paint the damaged areas again.

Thematic material:

How to assemble a metal frame

It is also enough to simply build a gazebo out of metal. You will need a welding machine and the ability to use it.

The lower strapping is made of a 10 × 10 cm metal profile. The supports are attached to the concrete with anchors or welded to the reinforcement sticking out of the foundation, and to them - the vertical posts. For reinforcement, metal corners are attached to their lower and upper parts.

The rigidity of the structure is given in the same way as for buildings made of wood - with inclined beams and a re-bundle. The base for the roof rafters is welded to the top of the racks.

Metal also needs protection from harmful environmental influences. After all, he is afraid of moisture and is susceptible to corrosion. Therefore, all metal parts are primed and painted.

If the owner decided to make a barbecue in which they will grill in winter, then a metal frame is sheathed. Outside, you can fix siding, and for interior decoration, wood or plywood is suitable. There is a lot of room for experimentation and imagination.

Thematic material:

You just need to remember about the flammability of some building materials. They must be protected from sparks from the stove. It is very easy to insulate such a gazebo - you need to put mineral wool between two layers of sheathing. Then no cold is terrible!

Arbor made of brick or stone

Of course, the most costly and laborious is the construction of a stone gazebo. But it is the most durable and durable, besides, you do not need to constantly monitor the state of the masonry, because it is not afraid of rain or snow.

Brick is laid on the strip foundation after the insulating layer, in accordance with the project. It can be a structure of four columns with a roof, or a structure of one wall, which has an oven and a cutting table. And you can fold the whole house with windows and a door.

Roofing - the final stage

The roof of the gazebo should correspond to its general style, be light and functional (protect from rain and sun). Any configuration is suitable: pitched, ridge, tent, oriental and many others.

To install the barbecue, it is necessary to provide a hole in the roof for the chimney. It is good to make a metal umbrella over the pipe - it will protect from the rain, and the kebabs can be fried in any weather.

Supplementary article:

The roof cladding material should be lightweight. That's all the requirements for it. Can choose:

  • flexible shingles;
  • metal profile;
  • sheet metal.
  • It is more convenient to assemble the roof tent at the bottom, and then raise it and install it in place. But you will need a lift. If there is no such device, the roof is assembled from above, on the rafters.

    How to make a stove or barbecue?

    A brazier for frying kebabs is easy to cook from thick sheet metal; this does not require special skills. Such a device is often made portable. You can install it both in an existing gazebo and in a newly built one.

    There is a variant of its brickwork, for which a rectangular base is prepared. Its width should be less than a skewer, and about 1.2 meters in length will be enough. The height of the curbstone is about 0.8–0.9 m, this value depends on the growth of the owner.

    Complementary material:

    Such a brazier can be built at the stage of wall construction, providing for a smoke removal system and supplying it with an exhaust hood or a pipe in the form of a dome.

    A (solid) rectangle of refractory bricks is laid out on the base - it is not cemented. They also put stones on the sides, without connecting them with a solution, which will greatly facilitate the process of cleaning from ash.

    It is more difficult to build a real stove, some professional skills will come in handy here. The main thing is to provide the hearth with its own, separate from the general, foundation. The stove should be assembled immediately after the concrete has hardened; it can be erected simultaneously with the vertical supports.

    It is necessary to remember about the chimney, which in summer terraces is often made instead of one of the columns. It is better to build the firebox from thick metal, so it will be more convenient to maintain it.

    The correct design of the chimney, dampers, and hoods is important. They support the flame and help the fuel to ignite - create thrust.

    Regardless of the option chosen for a gazebo equipped with a stove, its construction will take time and material costs. The entire project must be analyzed at the initial stage and an estimate must be drawn up so that the terrace does not turn into a "long-term construction". A competent approach to business - and independent construction will become a pleasure, and the result will be a source of pride!

    Several interesting projects

    Video: building a gazebo with a stove with your own hands

    A durable and beautiful building at a summer cottage - a gazebo with brick walls. In order for the structure to comply with these conditions, it is necessary to follow simple rules when erecting a fence.

    1. Withstand dressing during construction. This means a mismatch between the vertical seams in two rows in a row. A half-brick wall for a gazebo is usually sufficient.
    2. Carry out reinforcement. For reinforcement, a B1 class wire with a diameter of 3 mm is used. Reinforcement with separate rods is carried out. Welded mesh can be used. The wire is completely embedded in the solution to avoid corrosion. Each 5th row of masonry is subject to strengthening. Particular attention is paid to the corners of the building.

    Remarkable results are achieved by following simple instructions.

    Rest in the countryside always presupposes the presence of an open fire, where you can prepare a delicious meal. If you are in your own area, gazebos with a barbecue grill and a stove will always provide you with delicious meat and other ready-made products with a special aroma.

    The situation becomes even more favorable if there are comfortable chairs and a table under a good roof nearby. Many people implement this idea, which is what they are proud of in the subsequent years of operation of the building. There are many variations of such structures.

    However, it should be remembered that if you decide to build a brick oven, it will acquire a lot of weight, and ordinary tiles or other materials as a base will not work for you - the structure will be unreliable. The only reasonable option is to build a foundation. For such cases, you can build a shallow, columnar foundation.

    Do not forget that in any case, the foundations must be separate, since the construction has different loads.

    Types of buildings with fire sources

    Today, several types of gazebos with stoves, barbecue or barbecue are popular, which, in turn, can be made of various materials.

    Construction of a gazebo with barbecue

    If you decide to build a gazebo with a barbecue with your own hands, the easiest way is to choose a classic design with a single and gable wooden roof resting on supports.

    The simplest solution to a gazebo with a barbecue grill can be assembled from the elements of a profile pipe. Craftsmen use metal tiles or corrugated board as roofing. These materials will themselves provide the required level of rigidity, so that additional plywood can be dispensed with.

    For fasteners, proven self-tapping screws are most often used.

    In some cases, if there is a fence made of fire-resistant material, the gazebo can be placed near the obstacle, so that it plays the role of a wall. This, in turn, will save both money and space on the site. To save yourself from the need to build a foundation, you can put standard paving slabs.

    The barbecue device is always simple. It is shaped like a box, with holes in which air enters and saturates the fire. Thus, when fuel is burned, energy is transferred to food.

    For the construction of a personal stationary structure, it is advisable to plan and build it together with a gazebo. Each owner decides for himself what specific look his creation will have, in some cases the builder combines a brazier with a smokehouse, or mounts an iron portable oven. The advantage is the small space and ease of use.

    Also, the owner can overlay the barbecue area with a brick around the perimeter for better thermal insulation.

    Barbecue constructions

    In this case, a complete installation is required with the necessary preparations, preferably made of bricks, which from the outside will resemble a barbecue. However, the usual skewers are replaced by a metal grate. For this design, a hood is required without fail.

    There are various variations in the design of such a gazebo with a barbecue, including additional work space: a sink, a countertop.

    Building with a stove

    Also, you can often find a stove in the design of the gazebo. There are many variations of stoves, but they all boast of their versatility. In the Russian oven, you can always not only fry meat products, but also cook dishes.

    Of course, it makes no sense to build a real Russian stove - the size of the gazebo simply will not tolerate this. But to build a mini Russian stove will be quite rational. Sometimes even a grill spit is placed in such molds. In addition, a combined version can be installed: for example, a brazier stove or a barbecue stove as in the photo.

    Your personal shelter from the weather for every taste

    Below we will consider other options for a gazebo with a barbecue grill projects photo reports.
    In case you are ready for practical use for the sake of a beautiful view, you can erect a fireplace-stove.

    A rather interesting option for a barbecue oven is a cauldron oven. It is a rectangular structure with a hole at the top. It is there that the cauldron is inserted. In this version of the gazebo, you can cook a unique pilaf.

    You can find gazebos with barbecues where heat-resistant cement is used as a building material, but it also needs protection from rain, so a tree is used for the roof.

    Modern style polycarbonate gazebo

    You can separately highlight the modern style of a gazebo with a barbecue grill and a stove if modern transparent materials and openwork elements are used in the construction. A polycarbonate canopy on a metal or wooden frame is the best confirmation of this.

    An excellent combination: a building with a stone barbecue. Such a building is usually erected far from the house and closer to the center of the garden, because the stone, having its original appearance, looks good against the background of plants.

    But if you are using processed stone, then on the contrary, it makes sense to place the building closer to the main building. The main thing in the design of the style is to adhere to a common feature with the house. Our beautiful gazebos with barbecue and barbecue photos will help you with this.

    Good day to all!

    In this article we will talk about interesting design projects for barbecue gazebos. Some summer residents on their site just put a small gazebo for relaxation, while others, in order to make not only their vacation more comfortable, but also invite friends, install ovens with barbecue and barbecue in the gazebos.

    Before you start building a gazebo with barbecue and barbecue, you decide what your gazebo will be like.

    The first is a small structure with a small brazier, table and chairs.

    Second, it is a closed gazebo for year-round use, or an open summer version with a stove.

    Third, this is a fairly capital structure, which is divided into two zones: a kitchen and a dining room.

    Having decided on the choice of your option, then you need to draw up a project plan and choose the material from which your gazebo will be built.

    The best way to make a BBQ gazebo is brick. In this version, it will be more durable. If you decide to use a brick, then perhaps these tips will help you.

    - to avoid soot and smoke, it is necessary to make a chimney zone;

    - the grill must be protected with a roof, if it is not installed, then we cover it with acrylic varnish;

    - if the brazier is used for mass cooking, then a blower will be needed, it will create a more intense burning of firewood;

    - the firebox should be the width of the skewers;

    - the masonry must be in a refractory mixture and fireclay type clay or special compounds that can withstand high temperatures;

    - the brick must be soaked for five minutes before cutting - this will simplify the task.

    Projects of a gazebo with a barbecue and a stove (to do it yourself)

    A wooden gazebo, of course, is the most profitable option in terms of material cost and labor intensity. In addition, if you are not a bricklayer, then a wooden gazebo is the best option for your summer cottage.

    Another option is brick. In terms of fire safety, it is much more profitable than a wooden structure, and it will last much longer.

    However, you can also use this option when the stove is in the brick part of the gazebo, and the rest of the structure is wooden.

    Another version of the gazebo, less common, is a wrought-iron gazebo.

    Such gazebos are mainly purchased in stores.

    It is not difficult to build a brick gazebo with a barbecue and barbecue, especially if you have the skills in brickwork. However, if you have good familiar bricklayers, then perhaps they will help you build the desired structure on the site.

    As usual, the foundation is first made, on which a layer of waterproofing is applied, and then the walls are placed. It is best to start laying bricks from the entrance opening, and then move along the perimeter.

    We build the walls of the gazebo according to your project (type and height). At the same time, we make a base for a barbecue and a smokehouse.

    When the walls are erected to the desired height, we make a rafter system

    We equip a tabletop, a place for a cauldron, a barbecue. As a result, we should get the following.

    Well, at the very end, we sew up the roof with the material that you have chosen for this purpose.

    Below is a plan of a covered gazebo with barbecue and barbecue.

    Photos of simple and beautiful gazebos for summer cottages

    No matter how they say, but the gazebo arranged on the site should fit into the general landscape, especially since you put not just four pillars with a roof, but make your structure an art of design.

    Let's see examples of some pretty interesting and original gazebo designs.

    Quite an interesting and original project, combined of wood, stone and polycarbonate.

    Metal wrought-iron gazebos look no less original and beautiful.

    An interesting version of the gazebo, in which the barbecue is made of stone.

    A few more options for fairly simple gazebos for giving. All of them are made mainly of wood.

    Love for food cooked on an open fire remained with us from our ancestors. When organizing picnics with barbecue in the forest or on the river, you wonder if you will receive a fine from the fire inspection.

    Owners of their own summer cottages do not need to worry about this, they just have to build a gazebo with a stove according to all the rules, and after a hard working week with friends or family, enjoy the fresh air, nature and food cooked on a "live" fire.

    Features and Benefits

    Gazebos with barbecue and barbecue have replaced summer kitchens, without which not a single rural house could do in Soviet times. If the gazebo for the summer cottage is made of a closed type, electricity and water supply are installed, it will differ from the summer kitchen only in its modern design.

    The positive side of such a structure is the proper rest of its owners. Having left the bustle of the city to the dacha, you can comfortably cook any dish and relax in a cozy gazebo.

    But in order to create a recreation area, you must first work hard. Choose a place, draw up a plan, sketch, estimate, start construction. If the gazebo is of a closed type, with communications and a stove, permission from the relevant organizations may be required. It would be nice, in addition to a barbecue and a barbecue, to arrange a smokehouse and a hob, then in the summer there is no need to enter the house.

    Such a gazebo will take up a lot of space, but its functionality can even compete with the home: here you can cook food, relax, work on a laptop, do knitting or play board games, celebrate a holiday with family and friends.

    Types of buildings

    There are three main types of gazebos: open, closed and semi-open. In addition, they can be distinguished by their configuration, style, sizes, materials of which they are made, and by the internal equipment.

    Even before starting construction work, you should understand what kind of gazebo is needed. A small, open type, with a small barbecue and barbecue will cost much less than a large solid building. But if the family is large or loves holidays, a more voluminous gazebo is needed. Using the cottage only in the summer, you can not overload the space with walls - just one roof from the rain is enough.

    To use the premises in the winter, you will have to build a capital structure with a roof, walls, communications, windows and a door.

    Open gazebo virtually no walls, it is exposed to wind, rain and snow. It is used only in good weather and warm seasons.... In defense of such a structure, we can say that it does not take up much space, looks graceful and airy, and organically fits into the surrounding landscape.

    Being in it, you feel yourself alone with nature. Climbing plants will decorate the gazebo and help shelter from the scorching sun.

    Closed building they are built separately from the house or next to it, having thought over the insulated transitions that will come in handy in the winter. Such a room is zoned, separating the dining room from the kitchen. You can heat it with electric heaters.

    Semi-open structure Consisting of a roof and two to three walls, it can protect against slanting rain while maintaining the feeling of being outdoors. Sometimes the missing walls are made by transformers, capable of closing in bad weather or cool times of the day.

    Semi-open gazebos are preferred more often than other options - for many, this compromise solution seems the most acceptable.

    Buildings with barbecue and barbecue differ in configuration:

    • round gazebos have a small area, conditional walls can be filled with garden vegetation;
    • rectangular buildings are more acceptable for building a stove and barbecue, which are given a certain side with one or more walls that protect the fire from the wind;

    • a square-shaped gazebo is built according to the rectangular principle, only the dining area will be smaller;
    • The polygonal design is complex and easy to zone, but needs to be well thought out so as not to look ridiculous. If done correctly, the gazebo will be an amazing decoration for landscape design.

    Sometimes buildings look completely original if they are made in the form of several geometric shapes. Such gazebos are called combined.

    Material options

    The types of gazebos are distinguished by the materials from which they are created. Most often they are built of wood, brick, stone, forged metal. Gazebos with glass seem to be airy, their walls can move apart, turning a closed structure into a semi-open area. In a glassed-in gazebo, you experience ambivalent feelings: a feeling of security and merging with nature.

    Wooden buildings are fabulously beautiful, they fit organically into the landscape of the site. Resting in such a place, you feel like a part of the garden. Arbors made of wood are relatively inexpensive, they are easy to assemble on your own, and for such structures you need a lightweight foundation.

    Often, gazebos are built according to a Finnish project: a grill is located in the center of the room on a stone countertop. In such a structure, an exhaust hood is provided.

    This material has its drawbacks. It is fire hazardous, therefore, the brazier and barbecue should be installed on a ceramic floor, and the wall near the stove should not be made of wood. Wood requires periodic maintenance, cleaning from mildew and mold, processing with special compounds.

    Brick or stone gazebos are built on a solid foundation, so they look thorough. Such a design is not afraid of bad weather conditions, heat or cold, and they are also fire-resistant. Having thought over the heating system, you can celebrate the New Year in a brick gazebo.

    Such a building is more expensive than other options, but it will also last a hundred years without requiring special care.

    Completely metal gazebos are not made, because it is cold in them in winter and hot in summer. Alternatively, a forged material is used. Most often, such structures are combined, for example, 1-1.5 m from the floor, the walls are made of brick or stone, and higher - openwork forging, which supports the roof of light materials.

    Such gazebos are very beautiful, but their construction requires the participation of a specialist. Metal should be treated with anti-corrosion impregnations.

    Forging looks good in landscape design: garden benches, a porch with a visor, a wicket, a fence can support the gazebo theme.

    How to build it yourself?

    When creating a gazebo project, you should decide on several points:

    • Where will the facility be located? It can be allocated a picturesque place in the garden or placed next to the house. It is important that the smoke from the chimney does not enter the living area. It is better to place the winter version of the design next to the building - it is easier to carry out communications this way.
    • What type of building is chosen (open, closed, semi-closed).
    • What material will the room be made of (wood, metal, brick).
    • What size to build a gazebo.
    • What kind of stove and barbecue are planned.

    According to fire safety measures, there should be free space at a distance of three meters from the stove. A small gazebo will become a place for cooking, it will decorate the landscape, but it will not be enough for rest and gatherings. The more people are going to use the gazebo, the larger its footage should be.

    A traditional gazebo is built with a size of 3x3 m, rectangular can be much larger. In addition to the kitchen, there is a dining area in the building, which includes a table and chairs, and a sofa is possible in the relaxation area. In some gazebos, water supply is supplied, a sink is installed... All this should be taken into account when making design calculations.

    To make the rest comfortable the height of the gazebo is planned to be more than two meters, also 2 sq. m of area is calculated for each visitor... When drawing up a drawing, all elements inside the structure are indicated.

    When planning a vacation spot, one should not only take into account the practical component, but also pay attention to how it will be combined with the landscape. A large building in a small garden will visually reduce the site, and a small gazebo will be lost against the background of a large area.

    Step-by-step construction instructions

    To build a gazebo, they choose a suitable place either in a picturesque garden or not far from the house, so that it is easier to bring communications.

    They mark the site and begin construction work.

    • The foundation depends on the severity of the building. Brick or stone requires a strip base. For its implementation, trenches are dug in the ground, wooden formwork is installed, reinforcement is laid and it is poured with cement. For wooden buildings, it is more economical to use a columnar foundation.

    • The floor is laid on the finished foundation. It can be tile or wood flooring, but where the stove is installed should be ceramic or stone. If the gazebo is built on solid ground, you can do without a floor. In an open gazebo, rainwater can accumulate on the floor, so it should be done with a slight slope.
    • The walls in the gazebos usually do not perform bearing functions, the exception may be capital brick structures. Either lattice air partitions are erected, or solid ones with conditional window openings.

    • A roof on wooden structures is made of lightweight materials, inclined (about 10 degrees) or ridge. Cover it with metal or polycarbonate.
    • Finishing is essential for the aesthetic appearance and protection of the walls. Wooden structures are impregnated with an antibacterial composition, varnish is applied. Forging is treated with anti-corrosion mixtures, protected with enamels.

    The oven with barbecue and barbecue is performed as an ordinary street structure and is erected simultaneously with the gazebo. Waterproofing is laid between the floor and the foundation, a metal plate is installed under the stove. It is better to lay out the wall near the barbecue made of stone... Then the oven is built out of bricks.

    Cladding can be made with clinker tiles. The stove must have a chimney and an exhaust... You can use a portable grill and barbecue, but it is better to insert them into the finished stone structure.

    Having built a gazebo, you need to make it cozy, thinking through everything to the smallest detail.

    Here are some tips for creating complete comfort:

    • in the gazebo, it is better to separate the kitchen area from the dining area with a bar counter so that guests and the owner at the stove can see each other;
    • the firebox should be comfortable and close to the barbecue;
    • if the barbecue is outside the gazebo, it is better to make a canopy over it;
    • the capital structure can be supplemented with a sink and even a bathroom;
