Internal filling schemes for sliding wardrobes. Sliding wardrobe in the bedroom - interior filling with dimensions and photos

There are a large number of models and options for how to plan and arrange the filling of a wardrobe. When deciding on a particular model of filling for a dressing room, many nuances must be taken into account. These are the individual wishes of a person, and the type of room in which the wardrobe will stand, and the shape of the furniture.

The inner filling of the wardrobe must be functional and practical. Therefore, it is necessary to make the most of all the space so that there are no free niches, space between the shelves. Things should be located so that they "breathe", do not interfere with each other, and are always in a conspicuous place.

There are many options for decorating the interior space of wardrobes, for which various elements and structures are used. They can not only be built inside the dressing room, but rearranged, making redevelopment from time to time. The basic configurations for creating the "filling" of the cabinet usually include the following elements:

  • Drawers, which can be of different shapes, have dividers. Typically such designs are used to lay out socks and underwear.
  • Shelves designed for items of clothing that do not wrinkle.
  • Area of hangers on which wrinkles are placed. They are mesh, retractable and stationary. Built-in and stationary are suitable for storing winter things, including sweaters and jackets, books, shoes. It is customary to place light items of clothing on pull-out shelves - T-shirts, shorts, shirts, jeans, accessories.
  • Crossbars for trousers, jeans, skirts, dresses.
  • Shelves - mesh or regular, designed for shoes.
  • Shelves and zones with hooks for bags and ties.
  • Spacious shelves and mezzanines for bedding and blankets.
  • Rails for hangers designed to accommodate outerwear.

An ideal wardrobe is the presence of all these structures, it is desirable that they be modular and built-in. As a result, it is possible to rebuild the dressing room, taking into account the changing seasons and the peculiarities of the weather in each of them.

Thus, the inner space of the dressing room is divided into three parts - upper, lower, main. The first is intended for mezzanines or shelves where hats and suitcases are put. The second - the lower one - is suitable for the location of accessories, shoes and documents. The main part is the installation of hangers and shelves.

Filling the built-in wardrobe in the bedroom

A wardrobe is perfect for storing things and shoes, inside of which there will be many shelves and a bar for placing hangers with shirts, trousers and dresses. It is better that the designed space is closed. This applies to both the entire cabinet and the internal modules.

For small rooms in which small dressing rooms of 2 by 2 meters or 2 by 3 meters are made, it is recommended to close sliding wardrobes with sliding doors. This significantly saves space in the bedroom.

When planning the internal filling of the wardrobe, which will stand in the bedroom, the following points should be taken into account:

  • The dressing room should be deep enough and roomy enough to accommodate bed linen, household and casual clothes, and shoes.
  • The ideal depth for a wardrobe in a bedroom is 50-60 cm, which is needed to install a standard-sized bar and pull out drawers.
  • In the interior arrangement, it is necessary to use various modular sections designed for shoes and accessories.

Filling the wardrobe in the bedroom involves the use of components such as:

  • Shelves and niches needed to accommodate shoes.
  • Attachment for ironing board and iron, if the inner space of the dressing room allows.
  • A pantograph bar equipped with a trigger and a handle to adjust the height. Layout of the sliding wardrobe using a pantograph, which is a special design attached to the side or rear walls of the shelves. If the need arises, then such a mechanism can be easily pushed out.
  • Coat hangers.
  • Hangers with hooks are needed to hold things that won't wrinkle.
  • Trouser holders.
  • Pull-out baskets that will be pulled out and located at different levels. They are great for storing belts, ties, socks, small accessories.

Filling dressing rooms in the hallway

For sliding wardrobes that are installed in hallways or corridors, it is necessary to develop individual schemes for placing things. This will help you plan the placement of the components, taking into account the size of the cabinet, its shape and location.

Shoes can be placed on shelves made of wire and set at a slight angle. The internal layout of the cabinet provides for the mandatory use of drawers, into which you can put brushes and shoe polish, keys, and put on slippers. The main part of the space is allocated for outerwear.

There are also options for models for placing things inside the wardrobe, such as sectional. They allow you to arrange hangers, hat racks, seats and corner shelves in dressing rooms, arranging them the way the tenant of the apartment wants.

Placement of things in wardrobes on loggias

A wardrobe installed on the balcony, inside of which it is as convenient to place things as in the hallway, is spacious and practical. All elements must meet the functional purpose of the dressing room. So, if the closet is made in order to store winter things, then you need rods, shelves - stationary and inclined, hooks. Sloped shelves can be used for shoes, hooks for gloves, scarves and other accessories, and ordinary shelves for shoe boxes, winter sweaters and jeans.

The sliding wardrobe on the balcony is usually built-in, and there are two types - straight or angular, which affects the internal content of such a wardrobe.

Features of filling the closet in the nursery

Sliding wardrobes for children are designed to store things, shoes, books and toys, notebooks, paints. You can also place a computer desk inside to optimize the space in the room. Most often, three-door dressing rooms are installed in children's rooms, which are characterized by large capacity due to the presence of an additional section. Among the features of the filling for sliding wardrobes in the nursery, it is worth noting such as:

  • Shelves and drawers that accommodate textbooks, notebooks and office supplies.
  • Corner open modules with shelves for books and toys.
  • Mesh sections for storing sports equipment.

The doors in such cabinets should be easy to open, and the shelves should be fastened with special flippers.

Thus, the inner filling of wardrobes can be very different, but it must contain shelves, drawers and hangers. The presence of additional elements only hooks, upper mezzanines and pull-out shelves helps to increase the functionality of the dressing room, expand the used space, place not only clothes and shoes, but also socks, ties and bags.

Internal filling options

In the hallway and in the hall

In the bedroom

Internal filling options by door type

Two-door

Three-door

Four-door

In our homes, we have to solve a difficult task - it is necessary to place a lot of things in a relatively small area. For this reason, we try to use every centimeter of the area to the maximum. A striking example of this is the use of sliding doors in furniture instead of swing doors. Another example is filling a wardrobe. Correctly selected, it allows you to use the entire available volume, and not just the area.

Organization of the inner space of the wardrobe

In order to properly organize the internal space of the wardrobe, it would be nice to know what can be put there in general. Most often, the set consists of several shelves, compartments for clothes hangers. There may also be drawers. These are the most common types of filling, but far from the only ones. There are also special hangers for trousers (trousers), skirts (skirts), holders for belts and ties, special shelves for shoes (shoe racks). Moreover, they can be stationary and retractable. They allow you to more compactly place clothes of a certain type and it is always in the designated place.

All these devices are called wardrobe fittings or accessories, but most often the phrase "filling the wardrobe" is used. It more accurately reflects the essence - these are various devices for organizing the space inside.

Hangers and crossbars

Rails for hangers can be located parallel (1, 2, 4) or perpendicular (7) relative to the cabinet doors. It is more convenient when the crossbar is parallel to the door - all the things that hang on it are visible. But in this case, the depth of the closet cannot be less than 60 cm - clothes hangers take up just that much space.

If the crossbar is located perpendicular to the door, the cabinet may be less deep - 40-45 cm. But in this case, only the first thing is fully visible, all the others are hidden behind it. Not very comfortable. The problem can be solved by installing a retractable system. In this case, it will be much more convenient to use.

It is often more convenient to place the compartments for clothes on the hangers in the upper part of the wardrobe, leaving the lower part for shelves and drawers. In this case, they do not put ordinary crossbeams, but movable ones. This device for filling wardrobes is called "pantographs".

The pantograph is a hanger bar that can be lowered

There are different sizes of pantographs, but if you want to equip with a ready-made, and not individually made option, check the dimensions in advance and "adjust" the width of the compartment for them. After all, you still need to leave a place for fastening the mechanism.

Shelves and drawers

Filling a wardrobe is rarely complete without shelves and drawers. Shelves with a wardrobe are made of different depths and heights - it all depends on what you plan to stack on them, but the minimum shelf height is 30 cm. You can put several sweaters and T-shirts on it.

Most often, shelves are made of laminated fiberboard, but mesh shelves can be installed. They take up very little space (in thickness), which is also a plus in case of problems with dimensions. The second positive point is that if the mesh shelves are high, you can see from below what lies there (at least partially). Their disadvantage is the fixed sizes that will have to be taken into account when planning. Although, a small error can be corrected by strips on which these shelves can be laid.

Drawers can also be made of or mesh. The advantages and disadvantages are the same. In some cases, mesh crates are called baskets. Lightweight and comfortable, they do not accumulate dust.

Devices for compact placement of things

Most of the time, there is not enough space in the closet. Even if they are of decent size. Therefore, they try to develop the filling of the sliding wardrobe so that the available volumes are used rationally. For example, instead of traditional shelves for shoes (mesh or chipboard), you can put a retractable shoe rack. They perfectly accommodate low-rise shoes - shoes, sandals, boots.

Due to the fact that the shoes are stacked obliquely, it is better seen. If you use mesh shelves for shoes, due to the fact that the heels "fall through", space is significantly saved.

Many problems arise with the storage of trousers and jeans. For this type of clothing, there is also a special device, which is often called "trouser". These are pull-out strips on which double-folded trousers hang.

Usually they are located under the shelves at waist level, or at shoulder level. Above is not necessary - it is inconvenient. In the upper part of the wardrobe, it is better to place a pantograph or shelves for rarely used things.

Also in the filling for wardrobes there is a device for storing ties and belts. On the same devices, you can store scarves, mufflers, etc. This hanger is similar to a trouser, only it is smaller.

It is more convenient to place them on the side in the section for clothes. They are about 15-20 cm wide, so they won't take up much space. Another option for placing such things is a drawer, divided by partitions into small squares.

What else is worth saying about the filling for wardrobes? At firms that manufacture furniture, all (or almost all) sliding systems are solid. Each device also increases the cost of installation. If you have even a little skill in handling a drill and (or a screwdriver), you can mount it yourself by purchasing these devices from a company. It will turn out to be a little cheaper. You can save more if you buy them through online stores or directly from China.

These are all the devices that are used when filling wardrobes. The main thing is to place them correctly, to determine the sizes of sections and doors.

Planning the insides: technical points

To develop the internal structure of the wardrobe, it is necessary to determine the amount of clothes of various types that you plan to put in this particular furniture. For certain volumes of different types of clothing, the filling of the wardrobe is being developed. It will greatly depend on the location of the built-in furniture. For example, if the wardrobe is in the hallway, you need to allocate space for outerwear. Since coats and raincoats are long, then this compartment should also have a large height - 130-150 cm. You will also need to set aside a place for storing hats / gloves / scarves.

Such departments probably won't be in the bedroom. But here a TV can be built in (there are also sliding wardrobes), which in the corridor will be absolutely useless. In general, think carefully about what you are going to store in each specific wardrobe, measure the dimensions of large-sized things, add at least 10 cm to freedom of action, and put these dimensions on the plan.

When determining the height and width of the shelves, do not forget to subtract the thickness of the chipboard if the furniture is assembled from this material. It just seems that 18 mm is not much. If, for example, there are five shelves, then the material will take almost 10 cm in height.

When determining the size and number of doors, dividing the wardrobe into sections, pay special attention to the sections that have pull-out systems. The fact is that the doors are not exactly 1/2 or 1/3 of the cabinet width, but slightly larger. Specifically - more by twice the profile width. That is, if you have three doors in a 180 cm wide wardrobe, then opening one of them, you will get less free space than 60 cm.

Therefore, the width of the drawers (and the sections in which they are embedded) should be slightly less than the width of your doors.

And the second point concerns the depth of the cabinet. If a pantograph or a holder for a hanger with clothes is installed, the minimum width is 60 cm.When installing a retractable hanger for a hanger, 45 cm is enough.But please note that the retractable structure itself should be no more than 40 cm in length - more space is needed for freedom of movement doors.

Popular options for filling the wardrobe

As you understand, there can be a lot of options here, but there are several basic configurations that can be modified to suit your own desires.

What departments should be

Conventionally, the entire height of the wardrobe can be divided into three zones: lower, middle, upper. Shoes, some types of household appliances (vacuum cleaners, for example) are usually placed in the lower zone. At the top, high mezzanine shelves are most often made, which are used to store things that are rarely used. You can also put out non-seasonal items there.

The entire middle part is usually occupied by shelves, drawers, and hanger sections. Here you usually have to tinker with their placement. So that everything is convenient for all family members.

How to organize a small wardrobe inside

Any filling of a sliding wardrobe in the vast majority of cases has a certain number of shelves and compartments for hangers. This is the simplest and most economical option. Usually they are two-door - the recommended width of the door leaf is no more than a meter, which is observed in this case. The smallest wardrobe is just over a meter wide. They are usually installed in the corridors of small apartments. Two doors are also made if the length is slightly longer - up to 180 cm.

There is not much variety here, but it is quite possible to install a couple of boxes if necessary. Retractable devices for compact placement will come in handy here. The groom will definitely need it.

Medium size

If the width of the wardrobe is 180 cm or a little more - about 2 meters, it is most often divided into three sections. These models are also called three-door models, since most often the number of sections coincides with the number of doors. With a width of 2 meters, each of the sections is about 60 cm wide (taking into account the partitions). This is a fairly convenient format - not too wide and not narrow, with such a shelf length there will be no problems with chipboard sagging even if its thickness is 14 mm.

By increasing the length of the cabinet to 270 cm, it can still have three doors - the width of the door is still less than a meter. But at a high height, such doors are already quite massive and require good fittings (guides and wheels must be of good quality so that the slide is smooth). So already with a width of more than 240 cm, 4 doors can be planned. In this case, there can be three sections. You just have to move two doors to access each of them.

Medium length wardrobe filling

The first and third sketches consist only of shelves and a compartment for clothes on hangers. The place is distributed in different ways, but there are a lot of shelves. All others have added drawers and / or lattice baskets.

The boxes can be located at the very bottom. Relying on the lower part, they give the whole structure increased rigidity. But the lower drawers are not very convenient to use - you have to bend low. Therefore, more often they are raised higher so that they are approximately at a level above mid-thigh or at waist level. But in this case, a reinforced lintel is needed under the lower drawer - to give greater rigidity to the entire structure.

Pay attention to the mezzanines - the upper compartments. In the above options, they are the same size as the sections, but this is not required. If necessary, one mezzanine can be located above two sections. It is only important to correctly calculate the thickness of the material for the shelf so that it does not sag.

Sliding wardrobe for 3 meters

With a wardrobe compartment length of 3 meters, 4 sections are made, and there may be more doors. There is more space, but there is not much difference in the filling. Just more of the same shelves, pantographs and drawers / baskets. There can be a lot of combinations. Choose the option that suits you the most, but you can also change it - according to your needs and tastes.

A few more options for the internal filling of large cabinets in the photo gallery. There are some interesting ideas for organizing storage on open shelves - in baskets or plastic boxes. This, by the way, is a budget replacement for drawers, as well as a way to modernize the filling of a sliding wardrobe without problems and special costs. If you decide that there are few boxes, but there are many shelves, you do not have to order boxes and suffer with their installation. Not a bad replacement - boxes or baskets of the right size.

There is even a compartment for storing household chemicals - in plastic trays mounted on the wall.Slender drawers and wide baskets are also an interesting option.

Internal arrangement of a corner wardrobe compartment

To make the corner cabinet convenient to use, it is necessary to ensure the availability of things located in the corner. The easiest way to do this is with a coat hanger. There are several options. The easiest to implement is to install two clothes rails without a partition between the sections. In this case, the width of the cabinet on both walls should be the same, and the missing stiffness is added by the rack, to which the crossbars are attached.

The second option - one part of the closet has a shallower depth and "behind the wall" it will be possible to place output clothes. It is not used very often.

And another way is to install a rotating stand in the corner. They can be found in shops that specialize in commercial equipment.

In the corner is a spinning rack. Quite convenient

Only choose a model with a stand - it will support the shelves from above, giving rigidity and stability. The rest of the filling of the wardrobe is not much different.

In the article I will describe in detail how to organize a wardrobe. I will name the possible options for filling the structure. I will dwell on how to plan the layout of the shelves. I will share some useful planning tips.

Functional filling of the wardrobe

The filling of the sliding wardrobe directly depends on its dimensions.

Consider the proper organization of medium, small and large models.

Small

A small corner wardrobe can be even 1.2 m wide. They are most often located in the corridor, hallway of small apartments, living room. When the length of the structure is more than 1.2 m, two doors are supposed to be used. No special filler space is foreseen, therefore, shelves can be placed on one side, and a hanger bar on the other. You can fill the model with two rungs on either side, and place the shelves at the bottom in two units. One of them is on the mezzanine for storing things that are rarely used. You can embed the model. Here, it is appropriate to use a trouser and drawers for the arrangement of small things.

Average

In the filling of the average in size, there is where to roam. Its width is within 2 m and assumes the presence of three segments. The design is often called three-door because of the number of doors. Their width is approximately 0.6 m.

If the width of the cabinet is more than 2.4 meters, it is better to make 4 doors. Especially if the model is tall.

The filling of the interior of the model will depend on the wishes of the owners. You can make 2 segments of 7 shelves according to the plan, and in the middle place a crossbar for outerwear and a place for shoes at the bottom. A good option for placing one segment of shelves in the amount of 7 units and two segments with rungs. Moreover, one of them is for outerwear, and the other, which is shorter, is for hangers with sweaters and jackets.

Under it, pull-out functional drawers for underwear, socks and other small toilet items, including drawers for shoes or baskets with honeycomb elements for storing belts, ties and other things, will look good.

Big

The filling of a large long sliding wardrobe with a length of 3 m is not much different from the design of 2 m. There are already 4 segments and more doors. You can make a small dressing room. All multifunctional shelves, boxes and baskets are repeated, and their variations can be chosen solely from the wishes and tastes of the owner.

Instead of making many drawers for filling, you can replace them with baskets or boxes. This will reduce the cost of the structure and will allow, if desired, to change the arrangement of things without wasting time on dismantling shelves and installing boxes. Today there are many modern ideas and designs for interior content. The finish can be varied.

How to plan the layout of the shelves

  • at the top of the mezzanine, the crossbar can be made somewhat narrower than all the others. Although sometimes boxes and baskets with things are placed there. Then their height can be adjusted to the required filling;
  • at the bottom there is a place for shoes. They can be standard, not different for conventional garment placement patterns. Or they can have special shoe racks.

A large number of shelves can be provided, the main thing is that their width does not exceed 0.7 m. Otherwise, they can bend and the cabinet will become unusable.

The sliding wardrobe will allow you to place a large number of clothes and other things.

  • it is best when the number of sectors of the model matches the number of doors. If there are fewer door leaves, make sure that the sliding structures present can open normally. Sometimes the door can block the movement of the boxes;
  • boom compartments should be wider than the standard crossbar. If it is 0.5 - 0.6 m, then the place with the crossbar should take about 0.8 - 0.9 m;
  • the best option for the width of the storage space for underwear is 0.35 -0.4 m. It is better if it is a drawer. It is even possible with sections inside;
  • when designing a model, it is worth adding 10 cm to the mechanism for the doors. Therefore, the depth of the structure should be 0.65 m. Otherwise, the hangers will not fit well;
  • for shelves with a width of 0.8 - 0.9 m, a partition must be provided. The same applies to the holder for hangers with a width of more than 0.9 - 1.2 m. Here you need a vertical stand for an emphasis;
  • illumination in the cabinet cavity is not recommended. She will be able to light only the top shelf anyway. For these purposes, a visor with built-in halogen bulbs is provided;
  • in the outermost inner sectors, it is better not to make empty openings with rods. From the constant movement of the doors and their impact on the surface of the side bars, the wall can simply fall off. It is best that the outer sectors are filled with shelves from top and bottom. And already in the center were the rest of the filling elements.

Structural strength is the most important component of a spacious wardrobe

And if you correctly plan the location of shelves, hangers, boxes and other structural elements, then the necessary household items will always be at hand. The main thing is to immediately think about what exactly you have the most and start from the competent placement of these particular things.

The further convenience of using it depends on how thoughtfully designed the number and size of shelves in the closet is.

So, the topic of today's article: "Internal filling of the wardrobe in the hallway, photo with dimensions, as well as some recommendations."

Let's get started.

We will show you several common options in the form of diagrams with approximate calculations, and also consider in detail the fittings for cabinets, which were created to save internal space.

What are the features of the interior filling of the wardrobe in the hallway?

As a rule, a wardrobe in the hallway is not the main and only wardrobe in the house, but an additional one.

And, if bed linen is put in other wardrobes, things that are rarely used, things that are not relevant at a particular time of the year, then in the corridor you need to place what you use every day.

For example: shoes, hats, sports equipment, outerwear, accessories.

Of course, if the hallway is large and you have separate hangers for hats, umbrellas and a shoe shelf, then you don't need to think too much and you can place anything there.

But, few of us can boast of a very spacious corridor.

There is either a hanger with a shoe shelf or a wardrobe. And if you have just such a case, then let's approach the issue thoughtfully and plan the interior space as conveniently as possible.

So, what conditional zones should be in the wardrobe for the hallway?

We give you an approximate list, taking into account the breakdown into conditional zones: top, bottom and middle.

At the same time, in the middle, at the level of outstretched hands, the most necessary shelves are located. That is, those that you use several times a day.

And the side parts remain free if any of the shelves is pushed a little deeper inside, for example, shelves for linen and socks. Then there's room on the side to attach a hat or tie holder.

Practical cabinet designs to save space

Before you start doing this, you need to know what fixtures and designs are on the market. Maybe they will be very useful to you and from their presence you will already make a start, calculating the size of the departments.

Here is a list of the most common auxiliary elements:

Now we will consider each of them in detail, you will see their photos and then decide for yourself whether you need them. If so, estimate their size and plan the closet with this detail in mind.

Rods, brackets, clothes hangers

Rods and brackets are different not only in length, but also in location. If your closet is very narrow, then there is no way to equip it with a bracket for outerwear, located along the length. Here is the standard one as in the photo:

But you can put a transverse bracket. For narrow cabinets, this is simply an ingenious invention. Here is a photo of such barbells.

As you can see, they are regular and retractable. The latter are more expensive, but they save more space.

There is also a very interesting and practical option - a lowering bracket. Things can hang from the very ceiling, and when necessary, you simply lower the bar.

And as you understand, the free space below can be equipped with additional shelves. This is what a device called an "elevator" looks like. No need to stretch too high, very comfortable.

Also, it is a good option when the bracket is equipped with additional accessories, with which you can place more things in one area. These are the so-called "chains" and they look like this:

Ladies

The trouser is a very convenient addition. And sometimes it is not at all advisable to set aside a whole shelf with a bracket for storing trousers (of course, if you do not have 50 pairs of them). It is much more practical to place this holder somewhere under the shelf and make it retractable. For example like this:

Tie & Belt Holders

Little things tend to wrinkle and disappear from sight, if no special device is provided for their storage. We give you examples of the successful location of such holders, and you already choose what you like best.

In the last photo - not an element of a wardrobe, but an ordinary hanger. If you can get one, then you don't have to think about where to place the tie holder.

Honeycomb shelves for linen and tights

Decide how many dividers you need right away. Better focus on the number of family members who will use the closet. Ideally, each b = should have its own such shelf.

But, ordering such with chipboard partitions is expensive. There are now options on the market for ready-made distributors that just need to be inserted into the opening box. Like these ones:

Therefore, before designing withdrawable systems, find the distributors, find out their dimensions and, based on this information, make the final calculation.

Holders and shelves for shoes

There are just an incredible amount of them now. And such elements are absolutely necessary, since putting shoes in a regular box is inconvenient. It will fit there quite a bit in this case, the shoes will wrinkle and it will be inconvenient to get them. Look at the photo, what options for shoe holders are.

Holders and shelves for bags in the closet

If you have a large closet, then it is very reasonable to acquire such hooks or special shelves. Bags will always be in sight and will not wrinkle.

Iron holders

There is no better place for an iron! Provided, of course, that your wardrobe is roomy enough.

Vacuum cleaner holders

The vacuum cleaner itself can be placed on the lower shelf and the handle can be secured in a similar way.

When you have already decided on what kind of accessories you will purchase, it's time to do the initial calculations of the compartments.

After you make a sketch with the image of the necessary compartments, the master will already adjust and fit them to the exact dimensions, taking into account door systems and other nuances.

We give you some examples of successful schemes of the "insides" of a wardrobe, and you already think what can be changed taking into account your needs.

An example of filling a 2-door wardrobe

Here is an example of the simplest and most functional filling of a two-door wardrobe. You can take this calculation as a basis, and place drawers, pull-out brackets and other accessories in place of open shelves.

In general, filling a two-door wardrobe correctly is not so easy. There is very little space and you need to think about every centimeter and turn before making a decision. Here, as in the proverb: "Measure seven times - cut one." But, if you managed to successfully arrange the internal drawers, then even such a small cabinet can fit a lot of things.

Be sure to equip such a sliding wardrobe with pull-out fittings, lifts and other accessories for sliding wardrobes. Remember to equip the doors correctly.

For a small cabinet, it is better to put ordinary, hinged ones. And it is more convenient to open them (there is no dead zone) and you can hang something on the inside of the doors (a holder for ties, scarves, hats, etc.).

An example of filling a 3-door wardrobe

And this is an example of a wardrobe with three compartment doors. In general, this scheme is designed for coupe-type doors. If you put swinging ones, then there may be four of them.

An example of filling a 4-door wardrobe

There are very, very many options. In a large wardrobe you can place not only what we have listed above, but also bed linen, blankets and other household items. We give you several schemes, and you are already looking at what is closer to you.

An example of filling a corner wardrobe

The corner cabinet needs to be thought out especially carefully, since the slightest carelessness in the design and you will have large "walking" places. And this, we think, is not included in your plans, because corner cabinets, as a rule, are ordered when they want to save space.

We give you two options for the schemes. One for a simple cabinet, and one for a double, just corner.

Ready modular systems

And, if you do not want to make compartments from chipboard, then you can not fool your head and assemble only the box of the wardrobe, equipping it with doors that match the design of your hallway.

And the "insides" can be purchased in special stores selling ready-made storage systems. For example, "Leroy Merlin" and others.

They can be taken as a complex, or as separate elements.

Systems are sold both in a prefabricated version and in the form of separate elements that are assembled like a designer.

Today you learned everything about the interior filling of the wardrobe in the hallway. Photos with dimensions and examples will definitely help you create a truly practical wardrobe that will delight you for many years.

Sliding wardrobes are versatile modern storage systems that can become not only the central element of the interior, but also a functional addition to the overall design. In addition to aesthetic appeal, the organization of the internal space plays an important role, which requires a special approach, because the competent layout of the compartments is the key to compact placement of a large number of things and household items. In our article, we will consider the main points that you should pay attention to when choosing the "filling" for the wardrobe, as well as the design features for individual rooms.

Planning a wardrobe

The planning of the inner space of the wardrobe must begin with determining its dimensions, location and functional load. First of all, you need to decide where the storage system will be located. If it is supposed that the wardrobe should accommodate the belongings of all family members, it is better to install it in the hallway or living room, everyone will have free access to furniture.

It is important to correctly calculate the dimensions of the future structure, which depend both on the size of the room and on the needs of a particular family. The most popular models have a depth of 55 to 65 cm, and the height is projected from floor to ceiling. At the same time, in the hard-to-reach upper sections, as a rule, things are stored that are not needed in everyday life or are dressed for the season (winter hats, sports equipment, etc.).

The length of the future product is determined by how many things will be stored here. For a large family or an avid shopaholic, you can organize a storage system along the long wall of the room. These sizes will help ensure the careful preservation of the entire wardrobe. In a children's room or bedroom, you should limit yourself to a small structure, which will be enough for one or two people.

For a successful layout of the internal space, you need to decide on the purpose of the structure, think over the need for each section, because a wardrobe can be a storage not only for clothes, but also for books and household appliances. Sometimes a special compartment for an ironing board or even a mini-cabinet is equipped here.

Which shape to choose

Depending on the characteristics of the room, its size, shape, the presence of niches, you can choose the most successful version of the wardrobe, which will not clutter up the space. A popular option is built-in structures, which are located in the recesses of the walls, dead ends or corners of rooms, as well as along one of the walls. The peculiarity lies in the fact that the top, back and side panels are absent here - their role is successfully performed by the ceiling and walls, and only the facade and internal compartments are mounted. Built-in wardrobes allow you to make maximum use of empty spaces in rooms, becoming a fairly spacious storage. The shelves can be placed here both along the wall and in an L-shaped or U-shaped layout, depending on the depth of the niche.

Corner structures are not inferior in spaciousness to built-in wardrobes, and sometimes even surpass them, allowing large objects to be placed in their central part. Radial structures are especially convenient, which can be turned into real dressing rooms with a mirror and dressing table. Often, the "blind" corner area is occupied by a central support with rods for placing trempels, and side compartments are reserved for shelves and drawers.

Linear, free-standing wardrobes are less spacious, but it is not difficult to move them if necessary. They can have a different number of sections and, accordingly, doors.

Filling the wardrobe: mandatory zones

For a successful layout of the internal space, you need to decide on the purpose of the structure, think over the need for each section. Sometimes a special compartment for an ironing board or even a mini-cabinet is equipped here. Consider the main areas that are necessary for the neat arrangement of things. These include:

- Shelves for non-wrinkling things, where you can store sweaters, knee-highs, T-shirts that do not lose their shape when folded. Their width can be different: for adult clothes - 50-60 cm, for children - 30-40 cm;

- Drawers for linen - separately provided storage systems for women's underwear, tights, socks and separately for men's underwear, ties. It is enough for such small gizmos that the depth of the section is about 15 cm;

- Rods and pantographs for clothes on hangers (trempels) - devices that help to place things in several tiers. It is important to correctly calculate the height of their placement: it is necessary to measure the length of the clothes and add about 20 cm to it, taking into account the installation of the crossbar and the height of the hanger with a hook. The most convenient option is to organize separate rods for short and long items. For example, you can place two sections with jackets, shirts, sweaters one under the other, and organize a compartment with long clothes (coats, evening dresses, etc.) separately. In this case, it is worth taking care of the presence of a special long hook, with which it is convenient to remove the hangers from the upper tier;

- Drawers for accessories - quite an important cell of the wardrobe, which will allow you to orderly store small wardrobe items, such as watches, glasses, ladies' jewelry. The compartment will require a small height (10–12 cm), it is better that the boxes are divided into separate cells;

- Shoe compartment - the large wardrobe can accommodate two compartments. The first will be located at the bottom, where casual shoes will be located on shelves or special mounts. Shelves can be stationary or retractable, solid or mesh - the choice depends only on the personal preferences of the owners. The second compartment is set up at the very top - you can put boxes with shoes waiting for seasonal wear there;

- Storage for suitcases and travel bags - more often it is arranged under the ceiling, and the sizes of the shelves are chosen according to the dimensions of the luggage.

In addition, there may be other sections, for example, trousers, shelves for bags, hats or bed linen. It is worth noting that the more shelves and drawers in the closet, the more roomy it will be. Sometimes the boxes are replaced with baskets where winter accessories, clothes and shoe cleaners are stored. Drawers are placed at a height not exceeding 120 cm from floor level for convenient use.

Ideas for filling a wardrobe for different rooms

Each room in an apartment carries its own functional load, therefore, the filling of cabinets may differ in one or another position. Next, we will consider some of the nuances that should be taken into account when planning the internal equipment of a wardrobe in a certain room.

Hallway

A sliding wardrobe in the hallway will be the best solution for organizing a storage system that will allow you to place a lot of clothes, and sliding doors will provide free passage. If there is a niche in the wall, you can create a real dressing room in it. Corner structures and cabinets located in dead ends of long corridors are also an advantageous option.

Thinking over the "filling", you must first of all take care of the modules for storing outerwear and shoes. A bar with hangers is installed at an accessible height. This can be one longitudinal tube or several transverse rods that can be extended. A good option for more spaciousness of the outer wardrobe would be the installation of a pantograph, which allows you to raise and lower a row of clothes.

The lower part of the structure is taken away under the shoes, and it is desirable that these are mesh shelves or boxes that do not hold back the accumulation of street dirt. The upper sections are intended for hats, travel bags, rarely used items. If there is a lot of space, for example, when the wardrobe has an angular structure, space is allocated here for equipment that is difficult to find a place in the apartment (vacuum cleaner, power tool, etc.). It is also worth taking care of the presence of drawers and shelves, where smaller things will be stored in an orderly manner: gloves, scarves, umbrellas.

Living room

In the living room, sliding wardrobes can be used for different purposes: for storing clothes, books, equipment. For the most part, they are a decorative component of the interior, decorating it with their facades. A frequently used option is sliding-door wardrobes complete with slides for the living room, when a wardrobe is hidden in the depths of the closet, and additional modules are occupied by items of modern technology and accessories.

An interesting option is to install a television panel directly in the inside of the cabinet, where a separate massive shelf is provided. Depending on the size of the guest room, the wardrobe can have different dimensions and, accordingly, a different number of doors. Structures that fill the entire wall look beautiful, besides, they are the most spacious and allow you to store the maximum amount of wardrobe and other accessories (sports equipment, vacuum cleaner, children's sledges, ironing board, books, etc.).

Bedroom

A spacious wardrobe for the bedroom is a real find, since this room often contains accessories that are not advisable to put on public display. Proper planning of the internal space will help each thing find its place and free up living space as much as possible, saving the interior from randomly arranged things on chairs, a bed or at a dressing table.

The sliding wardrobe in the bedroom, in addition to the main clothes, should have compartments for bed linen, terry dressing gowns and towels, under which the upper large shelves are allocated. For outerwear, as a rule, the highest wardrobe modules are allocated. Store your underwear in separate (for men and women) drawers with compartments. Wear your casual clothing at eye level. Just like in the living room, the wardrobe in the bedroom can have a compartment where the TV will be located, if there is no other way to install it. Here, the presence of an ironing board with an iron stand will be in place.

Children's room

Own wardrobe in the child's room is able not only to ensure the neat maintenance of the children's wardrobe, but also to help the child acquire the necessary skills to create order in his, still small, world. To leave the space of the room as free as possible, you can install a corner structure or organize a built-in storage system.

It is important to think over the filling of the wardrobe for the child in such a way that it is most convenient for him to deal with his wardrobe. It is better to place the hanger bars at a height with a certain margin, given the fact that the kids grow up rather quickly and, naturally, the length of new clothes will increase.

Wardrobe items necessary for a child in everyday life should be placed at the level of his height, and on the upper shelves you can place non-seasonal items, sports equipment. Drawers, wicker baskets, where you can put small accessories, will help to keep the order. If the closet is large enough, it can be divided into a section for toys or craft supplies.
