There are two main ways to remove the old film from plastic windows:

• Mechanical
• Chemical.

Sometimes, for greater efficiency, both methods are combined.

Mechanical window cleaning options

From the cleaning options, you can select several most efficient:

1. The remnants of the protective coating are removed by a special scraper intended for cleaning cooking or glass-ceramic panels. Small scratches and glue residues after that can be eliminated by the Fenosol or Cosmofen 10 cleaner. If there are no data cleaners, then you can use the acrylic solvent, for example - P-12.
2. The second method requires an industrial hair dryer or at least a powerful home hair dryer, as it is much easier to remove the film from plastic windows after it is heating. This method is very simple to heat the film and pry her edge to a sharp stationery knife or scalpel. At the same time, the coating should be easily ascended, the remnants of the adhesive can be removed by the method described above.
3. Similar to the previous method, you can use the steam generatorThis method is even more effective.
4. There is another interesting advice how to spare a film from plastic windows, which will help solve the problem - the film is erased by the usual stationery eraser. The remnants of the adhesive can be eliminated by the White Spirit or the cleaners described above.

The scraper should work as carefully and, if possible, remove the film with fingers, since even a safe scraper leaves scratches on PVC.

Chemical options

And so, we looked at how to remove the film with plastic windows by mechanical way.

However, some methods of chemical cleaning have proven equally effective:

• Denatet should be pouring into the aqueous sprayer, for example, for spraying water plants. Then the denature should be applied to the surface and wait a few minutes. After you remove the protective film from plastic windows, you may have to pry it with a stationery knife. (See also Article.)

Many PVC glass accessories admit a gross mistake - try to remove the protective tape with the help of a solvent.

How to wash plastic windows

• With the help of a screed and sponge.

Washing with a spray of a rag and paper

This method can be used if the surface is not too contaminated.

• Water tank;
• Paper napkins.
