Adjusting the carburetor of the patriot 2512 chainsaw. Factory settings of the Chinese chainsaw carburetor

DIY chainsaw carburetor setting

For an independent carburetor option, you need to familiarize yourself with its device and understand the procedure for the work that is carried out to adjust the parts responsible for the correct functioning of the component parts of the device and parts close to it.

It is necessary to carefully handle the items for the system option, and also to determine whether the set characteristics correspond to very permissible values.

About the carburetor device

The carburetor serves to mix the combustible consistency with air, observing the proportions established in advance. If clear doses are not followed, the proper functioning of the motor is at risk. When a huge amount of air enters during mixing of a component, and there is not enough fuel, then such a mixture is considered "poor".

Over-saturation should not be allowed, because with a large amount of fuel compared to air, malfunctions or engine wear are also likely. Adjustment of the carburetor is needed not only before the initial introduction, but also when any differences in its operation are revealed. Before using the chainsaw, do not forget to run it in.

Components of the carburetor

The carburetor design contains a standard set of parts, but may vary slightly from manufacturer to manufacturer. Components:

  1. The foundation... It is a special tube that visually resembles an aerodynamic structure. Air passes through it. In the transverse direction in the middle of the pipe there is a damper. The more it is pushed into the passage, the less air enters the engine.
  2. Diffuser... This is the tapered part of the tube. With its help, the air flow rate increases exactly in the segment from which the fuel comes out.
  3. Channels for fuel supply. The fuel mixture is contained in the float chamber, then passes into the nozzle, from which it flows into the sprayer.
  4. Float chamber... It is a separate structural element, reminiscent of the shape of a tank. How to repair the carburetor (walbro) on a partner chainsaw carburetor adjustment. What you need to have to set up

Every carburetor owner should have the necessary tools to adjust this system. There are three adjusting screws that are located on the body of the device. They have their own markings:

  • L - screw for low speed correction.
  • H - screw for adjusting high rpm.
  • T - regulates the idle speed, in most cases it is used for experiments.

Chainsaw air filter

Before adjusting the carburetor, you need to prepare the device:

  1. The engine warms up, that is, it starts about 10 minutes before the repair, and turns off when you start work (see how to start the chainsaw).
  2. The air filter is checked and washed.
  3. The chain is stopped by turning the screw T as far as it will go (see chain oil).

To carry out a safe repair, you need to prepare a flat surface where you can carefully position the device, and turn the chain in the opposite direction. We need a tachometer. It determines the presence of a violation in the operation of the carburetor. When the screws are turning, the sound should be perfect and absolutely smooth. If you notice squealing notes, then the mixture is oversaturated.

Setup Instructions

Carburetor adjustment is divided into two main steps. The first is called basic. It is performed with the engine running. The second is performed when the engine is warm.

To carry out the carburetor tuning procedure successfully, you need to read the instruction manual in advance specific model to identify additional features of the device configuration.

First stage

The adjusting screws for the highest and lowest speed should be moved clockwise until the highest resistance is encountered. The article talks about how to adjust the carburetor of a partner chainsaw despite the fact. When the screws reach the stop, you need to move them in the opposite direction and leave them after 1.5 turns.

The engine turns on at medium speed and warms up like this for about 10 minutes. The idle speed screw must move clockwise. It is released only when the engine comes into stable operation. It is necessary to check that the chain does not move during this process.

In idle mode, the engine may stall (the reason is here). In this case, immediately turn the adjusting screw clockwise until it stops. Sometimes the chain starts to move. In this case, turn the adjusting screw in the opposite direction.

Checking acceleration work

A little research needs to be done. Device acceleration is initiated. The serviceability of the engine should be assessed during the maximum revolutions. we will replace them on the Chinese chainsaw, they are also called gypsies, since the gypsies sold them in the hundreds. How to adjust correctly adjusting the ignition on a chainsaw is possible only in. When the engine is functioning properly it means when the accelerator is pressed, the speed rises rapidly to 15,000 rpm.

If this does not happen or the increase in speed is too slow, you must use the screw marked with the letter L. It turns counterclockwise. How to adjust the carburetor on a Chinese chainsaw. Moderate movements must be observed, since the turn cannot be more than 1/8 of a full circle.

Maximum number of revolutions

To limit this figure, you need to use the screw marked H. To increase the number of revolutions, turn it clockwise, and to decrease them in the opposite direction. The maximum frequency should not exceed 15000 rpm.

If you increase this indicator, the engine of the device will work for wear, which will lead to problems in the ignition system. When rotating this screw, you must take into account the ignition processes of the device. If the slightest glitches appear, then the maximum value of the revolutions must be reduced.

Final check at idle speed

Before this procedure, it is necessary to perform a full adjustment of the components of the carburetor when operating at maximum speed. Next, you should check the functioning of the device in idle cold mode. When the correct parameters are achieved during the adjustment, you can see the exact conformity of the carburetor design to the following criteria:

    1. When the idle cold mode is connected, the chain does not move.

In this case, the device may fail due to the loss of the correct node settings. how to properly adjust the carburetor on a husqvarna chainsaw. In this case, you will have to contact a specialist.

Dismantling the carburetor if it is necessary to check or repair components

The device of different models of carburetors is almost the same, so when working with them, you can use the standard scheme. All elements must be removed carefully, and then lay out in the order given below so that you can successfully place the items in place after the completion of the repair work.

Removing the top cover

  1. The top cover is removed. To do this, unscrew the 3 bolts holding it in a circle.
  2. The foam is also removable, as it is the upper part of the air-conducting filter.
  3. The fuel hose is removed.
  4. The drive thrust is output directly to it.
  5. The cable end is disconnected.
  6. The petrol hose can be completely removed by pulling it off the fitting in a systematic way.

To finally prepare the carburetor for overhaul or replacement of the smallest parts, you need to carefully disconnect it from the main system... Sometimes further disassembly is required. Unscrew the components carefully and stack the fasteners in groups, as these small parts are easily lost.

Adjustment procedure:

  1. Activities start in idle mode... With the help of the adjusting screws, you need to achieve a systematic set of revolutions by the engine, so you should first let it run at low speeds. The deviation from the norm is the movement of the chain along the tire. How to adjust the carburetor of chainsaw (practice) adjust the carburetor of a Chinese chainsaw. 2. Transition to medium speed rpm is in progress... Sometimes the engine will smoke. How to repair a carburetor (walbro) on a chainsaw. This defect can be eliminated by tightening the screw to supply a leaner fuel mixture.

In this case, the smoke will disappear, but the engine speed will increase. It is necessary to adjust the settings until the level is reached when, when the throttle is pressed, the engine smoothly picks up speed, no sudden jerks or interruptions are heard.

  • Device motor is being checked... The chainsaw is moved to minimum speed, and then the lever is quickly pressed. At maximum pressure, it is held for 3 seconds. If there is a malfunction of the engine, gradually loosen the screw until the optimum position is reached.
  • The chainsaw should run for several hours under real conditions.... It is necessary to engage in sawing wood, and then inspect all the elements involved in this event. If there are deviations, they must be corrected using adjusting devices. When all defects have been eliminated and optimal settings have been established for supplying a properly concentrated fuel, the process of setting up the device can be considered complete.
  • The carburetor in internal combustion engines is responsible for preparing the fuel mixture. It consists of gasoline, air, and oil. When all these ingredients have been used in the wrong proportion, the engine will not be able to run normally. To prevent this, it is necessary to adjust the carburetor of the chainsaw.

    How the carburetor works

Regardless of the manufacturer of the chainsaw, the order and principles of operation of the carburetor remain the same. This device consists of several main elements:

    • Tapering air tube.
    • Fuel supply system.
    • Adjustable air damper.

At atmospheric pressure, the air, after undergoing preliminary cleaning, enters the narrow part of the tube, where its flow rate is regulated by means of a damper. Also, here the air becomes discharged and the resulting vacuum draws in a combustible liquid from the fuel line. A special needle connected to the jet chamber is used to adjust the fuel consumption. The quality of the fuel mixture is regulated with the help of a damper - when the air is opened, more fuel begins to flow into the carburetor and the power of the power plant increases.

To avoid problems with the operation of the tool, it is necessary to periodically adjust the chainsaw. When too much air enters the mixture, it becomes lean and the engine power decreases. Air deficiency also negatively affects the operation of the unit, as the fuel consumption increases. At the same time, it does not completely burn out, which leads to the appearance of carbon deposits on the cylinder walls. It is quite obvious that the question of how to adjust the carburetor on a chainsaw is asked by many owners of this tool.

However, first it is worth noting the signs of good quality work of the power plant:

    • The turnover is picking up quickly.
    • The sound when the engine is running is similar to that of a four stroke.
    • At idle, no chain spin is observed.

Situations in which configuration is needed

The new tool is already ready for use. In this regard, for some time the question of how to set up the carburetor on a chainsaw will not arise. However, experienced machine owners often carry out fine tuning. To do this, you do not need to disassemble the carburetor at all, since its design provides three adjusting screws:

    • L - used at low revs.
    • H - allows you to set the maximum supply of flammable liquid.
    • T - required for idle adjustment.

All fine tuning actions are carried out by ear, and at this time it is necessary to adhere to safety rules. Before starting all manipulations, markings should be made on the adjusting screws to make it easier to return to the default setting if necessary.

Most often, the problem is caused by the adjustment, which is carried out after failures in the operation of the unit. Among the main reasons for their appearance, it should be noted:

    • Unbalanced screws and out of position of the protective cap.
    • Piston system wear, which requires changes in the fuel mixture.
    • Problems with the operation of the carburetor itself.

    Algorithm of adjustment

All work on setting up the carburetor chainsaw is carried out in four stages:

And now, in as much detail as possible on how to adjust the chainsaw. If the tool does not start, it is necessary to set the adjusting screws H and L to their original position. Then you have to start the engine and let it warm up. After that, you can start adjusting at low speeds. To achieve optimal performance, the L and T screws have to be used.

First of all, using the screw L, you should start the engine at maximum speed, and then release it by ¼. The T screw will allow you to adjust the idling of the power plant. Adjustment thrust and maximum speed is carried out using the screw H, which must be tightened slowly, while monitoring the readings of the electronic tachometer. It is important to remember that the maximum number of revolutions stated by the tool manufacturer must not be exceeded.

Allow the engine to cool down after adjusting. Then it remains to start it in accordance with the cold unit start-up algorithm. If at this time there were no problems, and the chainsaw works well at idle, you should check it under load. If a lack of power of the power plant is detected, adjustment is carried out using the screw H.

Almost all Chinese chainsaws are equipped with carburetors, the device of which is similar to European models. Therefore, the differences in setting will be insignificant - at the initial setting, screws H and L need d turn the imo two turns. All subsequent actions remain unchanged.

Finding the highest turnover idle move, for this we slowly turn the screw L in different directions. After finding the position of the highest engine speed, turn the screw L 1/4 turn counterclockwise. If the chain rotates at idle speed, screw T or (S) should be turned clockwise until it stops.

Checking and adjusting the maximum speed.

The maximum number of revolutions is changed by screw H. When screwing it in (clockwise rotation), the revolutions increase, when turned out, it decreases. Chainsaw engines have the highest rotation speed of 11500 rpm. up to 15,000 rpm. A higher speed does not provide ignition, moreover, it becomes dangerous for the engine. The rpm limit can be determined from the ignition interruptions. If they come, screw H is slightly turned against clockwise.

If the operation of the engine is not checked for acceleration and maximum revolutions, then the adjustment of the chainsaw cannot be considered complete.

When the throttle trigger is smoothly pressed, the engine should confidently and quickly gain speed from idle to maximum (from 2800 rev. To 11500-15000 rev., Depending on the unit). If the revolutions are gained slowly, with a lag, screw L must be slowly unscrewed against clockwise, but not more than 1/8 of a turn.

After adjusting the acceleration and maximum speed, the saw should be checked again at idle speed - the engine should be stable, the chain should not move. Chainsaw tuning should be repeated if this condition is not met but with the exception of the basic adjustment step.

With the correct setting, the chainsaw runs smoothly and should not emit excessive smoke when the engine speed is increased. When the carburetor adjustment was initially set incorrectly, you will immediately notice clouds of smoke that can be emitted during operation. Setting up a Chinese chainsaw

The procedure can be challenging. Some models are modeled after the expensive and high quality models that famous brands produce. For this reason, some Chinese counterparts can be seen.

    1. Idle speed screw - This adjusts the engine speed at idle speed. If it is set too low, the saw will not work. If you set it high, you might run into chain problems. This is dangerous!
    2. The low speed adjusting screw is a low speed setting. This is an adjustment that controls the idle air / fuel mixture. In the first case of incorrect adjustment, the saw will not start at idle speed. In the second case, engine breakdown will occur.
    3. High speed adjusting screw. This is an adjustment that controls the air / fuel mixture at high revs. Incorrect setting leads to high revs of the chainsaw.

    Adjustment rules

Step 1... Check the fuel level in the fuel tank. This tank should be half full. Less fuel will make it harder to tune the carburetor correctly.

Step 2... Access the carburetor. The location may vary depending on the model and manufacturer of your particular chainsaw. Typically, you will need an adjustable wrench and a hex wrench to remove the bolts from the chainsaw body. Remove the housing. The carburetor will be adjusted using small screws next to the engine.

Step 3... Start the chainsaw and wait three minutes. This allows the engine to warm up, which is necessary to properly adjust the carburetor.

Step 4. Turn the idle speed adjusting screw. You will hear the motor spinning or slowing down as you turn the propeller. Set the engine to idle so that it runs at high speed. This will help prevent the engine from shutting down unintentionally.

Step 5... Turn the screw adjustment at low speed. Turn it to one side until the engine starts to run at maximum power. Turn the screw the other way. Note the two auger positions and turn the screw so that it is halfway between these two points. Pull the chain saw slightly to see how it performs at low speed.

Step 6... Pull the trigger for full throttle speed on the chainsaw. If the engine is operating normally, the full speed adjustment screw is correctly installed. If the engine jams, adjust the screw and pull the trigger again. Repeat until full speed of the chainsaw is smooth.

Step 7. Attach the chainsaw body back.

Adjusting the carburetor of a Chinese chainsaw affects the operation of the tool. If you notice a difference in the performance of your chainsaw, or if it starts to run rough, tuning can help. While newer fixtures are designed to prevent anyone other than a licensed professional from adjusting, older models come with handy screws for quick adjustments.

Adjusting the high speed adjusting screw affects not only the power output but also the high speed. If the screw is turned too far clockwise, the permissible operating frequency will be exceeded. This can lead to engine damage caused by lack of lubrication and overheating, in particular. High speed adjusting screw setting adjustments can only be made if an accurate tachometer is available to check the maximum engine speed of 13,000 rpm (with boom and chain tensioned correctly).

When the engine is checked at the factory, the carburetor is set to a rich mixture to ensure that the cylinder bore and bearings receive additional lubrication during the period of operation. The high speed adjusting screw can be turned no more than 1/4 turn clockwise.

Do you own a branded Husqvarna 137 chainsaw? Then check out a related article about.

Warning! The maximum permissible engine speed must not be exceeded! Note that even minor changes to the adjusting screws have a noticeable effect on the behavior of the motor.

    Video: adjusting a Chinese chainsaw

A chainsaw is a complex unit, the operation of which is based on a two-stroke type internal combustion engine. The internal combustion engine requires the use of a carburetor. In this mechanism, fuel is mixed with air, and this mixture is fed into the engine cylinder for combustion. The operation of the internal combustion engine largely depends on the carburetor, which needs periodic adjustment. Chainsaw carburetor adjustment can be done by hand, but for this you need to know the instructions, which are described below.

    Chainsaw carburetor design

A carburetor is a device in which fuel is mixed with air, and this mixture is supplied to a cylinder for combustion. During combustion, the crankshaft is driven, to which the drive sprocket is connected to drive the saw attachment - the chain. The absence or malfunction of the mechanism in question will lead to the inoperability of the tool, therefore it is important that the device is in good working order and adjusted.

The design of the chainsaw carburetor consists of the following components:

    • One-piece aluminum alloy body. The use of aluminum for the manufacture of this mechanism helps to lighten the weight of the tool
    • Diffuser for air supply, located on the side of the entrance to the mechanism
    • Valve nozzles, which serve to regulate the supply of the mixture
    • Sprayer - a device from which the fuel mixture enters the combustion chamber of the cylinder
    • Float chamber - a device for creating and maintaining a certain level of fuel

A detailed design diagram of the device in question is shown in the photo below.

Chainsaw carburetor tuning is an important step every sawer has to deal with. The chainsaw needs adjustment not only after purchase, but also in the following cases:

    • Before running in the tool. How to set up the mechanism for the correct running of the chainsaw is described in detail
    • After the end of the running-in process
    • After overhaul of the internal combustion engine
    • During the operation of the tool, when malfunctions occur during operation and starting the motor

At the heart of the mechanism there are 3 screws for adjustment (on some Chinese models 2 screws), which are the control panel for the user. It is with the help of these screws that the carburetor of the chainsaw is adjusted independently and quickly. It is possible to adjust an important unit of the tool even in the field without the help of specialists.

How the chainsaw carburetor works - the principle of operation

The operation of the unit in question, despite its complex design, is simple and understandable even for beginners. The principle of operation is based on the following actions:

    1. As soon as the engine of the internal combustion engine starts, the air damper opens.
    2. In the area of narrowing of the diffuser 16, the flow of incoming air is accelerated, which is mixed with the gasoline-oil mixture
    3. The gasoline-oil mixture is supplied through the nozzles numbered 15 and 12, and the air, before passing through the damper 7, passes through a filter located in front of the inlet
    4. The damper 8 is located behind the diffuser, and serves to regulate the supply of the amount of the mixture to the combustion chamber
    5. Screws 17 and 10 adjust the volume of gasoline that passes through the jets. On the carburetor control panel, these screws are labeled L and H
    6. The needle valve 11 regulates the volume of the fuel mixture in the float chamber 14. To adjust the position of the needle valve, a diaphragm 13 is installed in the mechanism
    7. Another membrane 4 is responsible for supplying fuel to the combustion chamber of the cylinder. The position of this membrane depends on the number of revolutions of the internal combustion engine
    8. A fine filter is used to clean the gasoline-oil mixture

The simple principle of operation of the carburetor ensures the smooth operation of the internal combustion engine. The quality of the setting determines how the tool will behave at idle speed and during operation. The mechanism under consideration has a direct impact on the performance of the entire tool. The service life of the tool depends on the quality of the adjustment.

Carburetor Air / Fuel Adjustment - When Needed

The first adjustment of the chainsaw carburetor is done immediately after purchasing a new tool. This is done in order to run the tool motor. To run the internal combustion engine of a chainsaw, you need to limit the maximum speed, which is done with the help of adjusting screws. As soon as the run-in is completed, which lasts 2-3 tanks of burned fuel, it is required to re-adjust, but only now in order to establish the maximum speed.

In addition to running-in, chainsaw carburetors are adjusted when:

    1. Knocking down the settings set after running
    2. If the internal combustion engine does not start well
    3. If the engine does not develop speed or when you press the gas, the chainsaw stalls
    4. Wear of the piston group, but only in this case, adjusting the carburetor of the chainsaw is a temporary measure, since the internal combustion engine needs a major overhaul
    5. If the engine does not idle
    6. Unit vibrations
    7. Carbon deposits on the spark plug
    8. Increased fuel consumption. This phenomenon can be detected by the excessive amount of smoke. If you unscrew the candle, then it will have a black color with carbon deposits.

Many malfunctions during the operation of the gasoline unit arise precisely because of the incorrect setting of the chainsaw carburetor or when they are knocked down. To restore the tool to its previous performance, you will need to adjust the mechanism. Many beginners trust this process to specialists, for which the masters take a lot of money. It's time to deal with the adjustment, and carry it out on your own, since this process does not require disassembling the mechanism.

It is interesting! The carburetor needs not only tuning procedures, but also flushing when dirt gets inside. Flushing involves disassembling the mechanism, and cleaning each part in gasoline or kerosene. However, such a procedure is carried out no more often than once every 3-5 years, which depends on the development of the tool.

    Chainsaw carburetor adjustment instructions

Setting up a chainsaw carburetor begins with a preparation procedure. The preparation is based on the following actions:

    • Check the air and fuel filter for contamination, and if any, these elements need to be cleaned
    • Check the diaphragm for damage
    • Needle valve serviceability
    • No air leaks, which can occur due to leaky oil seals, gaskets and seals

After making sure that the carburetor is in good working order, you can adjust it yourself. It is possible to restore the mechanism to the factory settings, but it is not always necessary to do this. Instructions on how to adjust the carburetor on Shtil, Husqvarna, Makita, Dolmar, Champion, Sadko and others chainsaws are described below. Initially, we find out what each screw in the mechanism is intended for:

    1. Screw H - main jet, which is responsible for setting the maximum number of revolutions of the tool
    2. Screw L - XX jet, which is needed to set low idle speed
    3. Screw LA or S or T - increasing and decreasing the amount of mixture supplied to the cylinder

It is interesting! There are mechanisms on which two or even one adjusting screw is located, which is called LD for air supply (on Stihl 180 and 170 chainsaws). This is done in order to simplify the process of adjusting the carburetor of the chainsaw in an unprofessional way.

Each type of tool of the brands Stihl, Husqvarna, Makita, Dolmar, Partner is accompanied by an instruction, which contains a section that describes this process in detail. It will not hurt if you find the instructions before setting up, and read it before turning the screws.

Preparing for setting up the chainsaw carburetor includes performing the following manipulations:

    1. Installing a chainsaw with your own hands on a flat surface. It is also recommended to secure the tool so that it does not move when you push the screws with a screwdriver.
    2. Steer the tire away from you
    3. Provide a safe distance for others, since the carburetor of the chainsaw is adjusted with the engine running
    4. It is not necessary to remove the carburetor from the unit to adjust it

    Chainsaw mechanism tuning process:

    1. Warm up the engine by letting it run for 10 minutes
    2. Find the location of the screw L and use a screwdriver to rotate it in one direction and the other. When rotating on a running engine, an increase in speed will be observed (the engine will work louder) and a decrease (when rotating in the other direction)
    3. We determine the optimal value of the revolutions, which should be 1.5-2 thousand revolutions. Determining the RPM by ear for a beginner will be problematic, so you can connect a tachometer. Details on connecting and using the tachometer are described
    4. After choosing the optimal value of the revolutions, you need to turn the screw L by 1/8 or ¼ of a turn (indicated in the documentation for the unit) counterclockwise, and press the accelerator button. If the engine responds instantly and evenly, that is, it picks up speed quickly, then you can continue the procedure. If dips are found, then you should reduce the speed, and repeat the check with the accelerator again.
    5. If after these manipulations the chain on the unit does not move, then you need to smoothly start the rotation of the screw T or S clockwise. Move the screw clockwise until the chain starts to move
    6. As soon as the chain begins to move along the bar, you need to tighten the T or S screw back a quarter of a turn.
    7. In this case, the chain must stop. If it continues to move, then screw S should still be tightened. Ideally, the chain should not move at idle speed of the unit.
    8. The engine with a tuned carburetor should work evenly, and when you press the gas button, the rpm should increase sharply. If the motor runs unevenly, you need to repeat the adjustment from the screw L, turning it 1/8 turn counterclockwise. After that, the process of moving the screw S is repeated, on which the adjustment of the chainsaw carburetor is completed

This is not the end of the regulation process, but the tool can already be tested in action. For beginners and inexperienced sawers, it is recommended to complete the setup process at this point. For a more accurate adjustment of the chainsaw carburetor, you need to set the maximum speed. Let's start setting up the H screw for experienced sawers:

    1. Determine the enrichment of the mixture by the exhaust. To do this, we develop the revs to the maximum, and look at the nature of the exhaust. The presence of gray smoke and strong vibration of the instrument indicate excessive enrichment of the mixture.
    2. The tachometer (if connected) will show a large number of revolutions - more than stated in the characteristics
    3. To reduce the maximum speed, you need to move the screw H a few turns counterclockwise
    4. The maximum speed is checked again, and the process is repeated again if necessary.

It is interesting! You can determine the lean mixture by such signs as the screeching of the engine, its rapid heating, misfiring and detonation. It is impossible to allow a lean mixture, since it will lead to a rapid failure of the cylinder-piston group.

You can make sure that the instrument is configured correctly by the following signs:

    1. The chain does not move when idling
    2. The engine works like a four-stroke engine
    3. When you press the throttle stick, the engine responds quickly and revs up

To make the most accurate tuning, you will need to use a wired or wireless tachometer.

On the Stihl 170 and 180 chainsaw, the process of adjusting the chainsaw carburetor looks a little easier, since there is only one screw. A detailed description of the process of regulating the carburetor on the Stihl MS180 chainsaw is presented in the video.

How to adjust the carburetor on a Chinese instrument

Let's figure out how to properly adjust the carburetor on a Chinese chainsaw of different brands. The setup principle is similar to that described in the material above. First you need to inspect the tool, and identify the presence of adjusting screws. Usually the T screw is on the top and the L and H screws are below. You do not always need to remove the protective cover or shroud to access these screws.

If the Chinese chainsaw has a different number of screws, then based on their number, you need to make the appropriate adjustment. The device and principle of operation of all chainsaws of different brands and manufacturers are approximately the same, therefore, there will be no problems with adjustment.
