Required ingredients:

  • Chocolate (72%) – 150 g
  • Gelatin – 15 g
  • Cream (10-33%) – 300ml
  • Almond flavoring – 1/3 tsp.

Cooking is quite a fun activity. After all, every time you can get a new, unique handmade product. The process of creating candies seems complicated only at first glance, but in fact it is very easy and simple. Why not try yourself as a chocolatier and make chocolate jelly candies for children and adults at home? By the way, you can make such sweets - they will surely like such a delicacy.

How to make chocolate jelly candies:

1. Soak gelatin in 200 ml of cream (the percentage of fat content can vary from 10% to 33%, this is not important). When it “swells,” heat in a water bath until smooth, stirring constantly. Tip: if there is no cream for chocolate jelly sweets, you can also use 3.5% milk.

2. Break the chocolate into pieces. Add the rest of the cream and place in a water bath. Melt the chocolate until smooth so that there are no lumps left.

3. Add gelatin and cream to the melted chocolate in several steps. Mix the whole mass thoroughly.

4. Add almond flavoring and stir again. Tip: candies can be made with a light alcoholic note by adding your favorite liqueur or cognac.

5. Pour the chocolate and cream mixture into a silicone candy or ice mold. Place in the refrigerator until completely set, at least 5-6 hours. At the end, you can put the mold in the freezer for 30 minutes.

Children are very fond of jelly candies, which are replete with any store. The composition, of course, is written on the packaging, but you can never be sure what they actually contain. In this article I will tell you how to make bright and tasty DIY jelly candies at home. Although you will still need store-bought ingredients to make them, in my opinion it is much safer than buying packs of brightly colored rubber candies with artificial flavors and dyes.

To make these sweets you will need gelatin and food coloring. Or, if you have the opportunity, buy ready-made jelly bags of different colors at the store. For each color, prepare a separate bowl and dilute the contents of the sachets in hot water, following the instructions on the package. If you only have gelatin and dyes, then you need to dilute the gelatin in the amount of water recommended on the pack and add dyes as desired. Leave containers of colorful jelly liquid in the refrigerator overnight. After the multi-colored jelly has hardened well, cut it into small cubes.


Place the jelly cubes in layers in a suitable container.


Prepare another solution of gelatin with condensed milk and pour over the multi-colored cubes. After this mixture has completely hardened, cut into bars. The sweets are ready!

Silicone molds are used to make jelly candies.

Pumpkin candies

The recipe for homemade jelly sweets is quite simple. To prepare this delicacy you only need a few ingredients. To make pumpkin candies, you need to have on hand:

  • 1 kg pumpkin pulp.
  • 1 kg regular sugar.
  • About 4 glasses of water.

Food preparation

So, how to make jelly candies at home? First you need to prepare the pumpkin. It is recommended to peel the vegetable and then cut it into small cubes. The chopped pumpkin should be transferred to a saucepan, and then pour in 0.5 kg of granulated sugar. The vegetable should be left under sugar for 8 hours. During this period, the pumpkin will release juice. The container should be placed on low heat. Its contents must be boiled. After this, the pumpkin should be left for several hours to cool.

Make syrup from the remaining sugar and water. To do this, combine the components in a saucepan and put on fire. Half of the water should boil away. The finished syrup should be cooled and then added to the container with the pumpkin. The mixture must be brought to a boil and then removed from the heat. The mixture should be left for 10 hours.

Final stage

It takes quite a long time to prepare jellies at home. When the pumpkin has cooled, you need to drain the sugar syrup and then boil it for 20 minutes, preferably over low heat. Then the vegetable pieces need to be filled with liquid again. It is recommended to repeat the procedure until the syrup becomes thick enough. You can add a little orange essence to it for flavor. Carefully remove the pumpkin pieces from the container using a fork and dry them. It is recommended to store the finished treat in a glass container in the refrigerator.

Peach candies

To prepare the treat you will need:

  • Granulated sugar - 400 g.
  • Peaches - 400 g.
  • Lemon juice - about 1 spoon.
  • Liquid pectin - 3 large spoons.

Cooking process

Peaches must be crushed into puree. The mass should be passed through a sieve. This will remove the peel. In a deep saucepan, mix the puree, 100 grams of sugar and lemon juice. The mixture must be brought to a boil and cooked for 15 minutes over low heat. The liquid should completely evaporate.

After this, add pectin and remaining sugar to the container. While stirring the mixture, increase the heat under the pan. You need to cook the delicacy for about 10 minutes. The mass should be quite thick. The mixture must be poured into prepared forms and cooled. Jelly candies are ready. If one large mold was used to prepare the delicacy, then its contents should be cut into portioned pieces.

Jelly candies are an incredibly tasty and simple dessert that anyone can make. Moreover, the ingredients will always be found in the kitchen, and making a sweet dish will take very little time.

The composition of jelly sweets includes a product that is beneficial for the body - gelatin.

In addition, it contains a number of other elements, namely:

The easiest recipe for jelly candies made from jelly

The easiest and fastest way to make it is to use ready-made jelly, which can be purchased at any grocery store.

For the recipe you will need the following components:

  • jelly dry mixture – 1 package;
  • gelatin – 1 teaspoon;
  • drinking water – 1 glass.

To make delicious sweets you need to follow these steps:

  1. A small amount of liquid is added to the gelatin, and the mixture is left for 10-15 minutes to swell.
  2. The remaining liquid is poured into a saucepan and boiled; as soon as bubbles form in the water, jelly powder is added, not forgetting to constantly stir the solution.
  3. Pour the swollen gelatin into the general mixture and mix everything thoroughly again so that the ingredients can completely dissolve.
  4. Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool slightly.

As soon as the mixture has cooled, it must be poured into molds and stored in the refrigerator or other cold place. After an hour, you can taste the sweets.

Natural sweets from berries

There are several recipes for making jelly sweets from berries. You can use only one type of berry or use a combination.

For this method of making sweets you will need:

  • fresh or frozen raspberries – 200 g;
  • water – 20 ml;
  • gelatin – 10 g;
  • granulated sugar – 50 g.

Cooking instructions are as follows:

  • First you need to dilute the gelatin in a small volume of water and wait until the powder swells well.
  • Then sort, rinse and crush, or grind the berries through a sieve.
  • All prepared ingredients are placed in a small saucepan, placed on the stove and brought to a hot state, but not brought to a boil, constantly stirring the berry mixture.
  • After the granulated sugar and gelatin have dissolved, strain the berry mixture through a sieve again.

All that remains is to pour the sweet mass into molds and put it in the refrigerator for a while so that the gelatin hardens. After a while, take out the candies and sprinkle them with powdered sugar.

Cooking with agar-agar

You can prepare a homemade jelly treat that contains agar-agar. These sweets do not contain dyes or preservatives, so they can be given even to children.

The recipe includes:

  • any berry puree – 250 g;
  • water – 200 ml;
  • granulated sugar – 100 g;
  • agar-agar – 5 g.

Sweet making process:

  1. Water is poured into a saucepan and brought to a boil.
  2. Agar-agar is poured into the boiling liquid and the solution is stirred until the powder is completely dissolved, as a rule, this takes about 2 minutes.
  3. Remove the container from the stove, add granulated sugar and berry mass, knead and bring to a boil again.
  4. After the syrup has cooled, pour it into a flat container and put it in the refrigerator for several hours.

All that remains is to cut the finished jelly into squares or circles and sprinkle with powdered sugar. To store sweets, it is better to use glass containers with an airtight lid.

How to make fruit jelly candies

Another very easy way to make jelly sweets. For production, you can use any fruit available in the house.

In this case, the following ingredients will be used:

  • fresh pears - 3-4 fruits;
  • water – 100 ml;
  • granulated sugar – 1 tbsp. spoon;
  • gelatin – 30 g.

In order to make sweet jelly sweets you need to follow these steps:

  1. First, wash and cut the pears.
  2. Place the fruit in a small container and add a little water, put it on the fire and cook until soft.
  3. Using a blender or wooden masher, crush the pear, then grind the mass through a special sieve.
  4. Place the pear puree back on the fire, add granulated sugar and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  5. Gelatin is poured with water and allowed to steep; as soon as the mass swells, add it to the hot fruit.
  6. Stir everything and turn off the stove.

Wait a little for the berry jelly to cool, pour into the mold and let it harden. As soon as the candies hold their shape, they can be eaten.

Juice treat

It’s quick and easy to make candy from natural juice at home, and you can use any available juice: cherry, apple, grape.

The recipe consists of the following list of components:

  • natural juice – 1 glass;
  • sugar – ½ cup;
  • gelatin – 3 teaspoons.

If everything is prepared, you can start preparing delicious and low-calorie jelly sweets:

  1. First, mix the cool juice and gelatin powder in a small saucepan and give the mixture time to swell well.
  2. After this, place the container on the stove and dissolve the mixture, remembering to stir, otherwise the mixture may burn.
  3. Add sugar, wait until it also dissolves and turn off the heat.
  4. As soon as the jelly has cooled, pour it into prepared molds and put it in a cool place to harden.

But if you study their composition, your hair will stand on end with horror - they are full of various chemicals that certainly do not bring any benefit to the little man.

And they are not at all useful for adults. Therefore, it is better to prepare this delicacy at home using proven ingredients. The recipes are simple and can be modified to suit your taste. These recipes are for children and for the whole family.

Pour 12 teaspoons of powdered gelatin into a saucepan, add 100 ml of cold water and set aside for ten minutes.

Then put everything on low heat and heat until the gelatin dissolves.

At the same time, in another pan, heat 100 ml of the selected fruit syrup (do not forget to check its composition when choosing a syrup; homemade is best, of course).

Then you just need to mix both liquids and pour them into molds (silicone ones are ideal).

When the liquid has cooled, place the molds in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to harden.

You can use syrups of different colors - it will make a great treat for a child's birthday.

Recipe for gelatinous candies made from juice

Pour gelatin in the same amount as in the case of syrup into 200 ml of the selected juice and set aside for ten minutes. Then heat it until it dissolves and add sugar or honey to taste.

If the juice is sweet enough, this won't be necessary. After perfect dissolution, pour the liquid into the molds, let cool and place in the refrigerator.

Pour a glass of berries into a saucepan, pour in a glass of orange juice and heat over low heat with a lid until they are softened. Beat everything until smooth.

Add eight tablespoons of gelatin, heat, stir and leave for about ten minutes. Pour into molds, cool and place in the refrigerator to set.

  • If you do not have suitable molds, you can pour the hot liquid into a glass, and after cooling and hardening, dump it and cut it into cubes, circles or rectangles.
  • Sweets are best stored in the refrigerator. Those who do not like gelatin or refuse any animal products can use agar instead, which can also achieve excellent results.
  • Sweets can be made healthy by adding some vitamin or herbal extract to the given recipes.
