Correction of body weight with nutrition. Methods for correcting overweight and treating obesity

First of all, the correction of physique by means of physical culture implies the regulation of body weight. During physical education, excess adipose tissue is consumed to generate the required amount of energy for exercise. As a consequence, there is a decrease in excess weight. At the same time, it goes without saying that our physique will certainly change towards a slender figure. An increase in body mass can also lead to an improvement in body type, but only when this is due to the growth of muscle tissue. You can achieve a significant increase in muscle tissue by such means of physical education as weightlifting and bodybuilding. However, for the vast majority of women, this is probably not the most suitable option, since in this case the physique of the fair sex will acquire masculine features. A much more successful option for correcting the physique by means of physical culture are classes in various types of athletics. Each sport of this category forms certain features of the figure, which, quite possibly, will be the desired results of body correction. How do different types of light gymnastics affect anthropometric characteristics?

When jogging, women form a correct posture and a symmetrically developed body. Correcting the physique through jumping exercises can reduce body weight, lead to strong chest development, and increase the leg-to-body ratio. When correcting the physique with the help of such a means of physical culture as gymnastics, a small body weight, long thin legs, a narrowed pelvis are achieved, which together gives a slender athletic figure. Synchronized swimming or figure skating will allow you to correct your physique through the formation of a strictly symmetrical body, correct beautiful posture, slender legs, and development of the chest.

It should also be borne in mind that the best results in correcting the physique by means of physical culture can be achieved in childhood and adolescence. During this period, the body is still developing, so unwanted body traits can be corrected quite easily. In adulthood, it is much more difficult to correct the physique, since the body has already been formed, the growth has stopped, the growth zones of the bones are already "closed" for exposure by means of physical culture. However, physique correction by reducing excess body weight (i.e., reducing excess body fat) during physical education can be carried out at any age (of course, in the absence of contraindications to physical activity). In addition, some body flaws can be completely hidden by practicing plastic and beautiful movements. This, again, is achieved at the expense of physical education.

You can do body correction not only in fitness clubs, but also independently (evening and morning jogging in stadiums or parks, jumping rope, performing general physical exercises at home).

Weight is extremely important in many sports. For some athletes (basketball, rugby, etc.), gaining body weight (assuming this increase is the result of gaining muscle mass) has obvious benefits. Others, on the other hand, have to reduce body weight before a competition. Many sports involve organizing competitions according to the principle of weight categories. These include bodybuilding, boxing, equestrian sports, martial arts, rowing, barbell, wrestling. In addition, there is a group of sports in which, although such a concept as "weight category" is not used, a certain type of athlete's physique is assumed, and traditionally it is, as a rule, a small weight of an athlete. This group includes such sports as gymnastics, figure skating, synchronized swimming, dancing, long-distance running, etc.

The problems facing athletes of both groups of sports are the same. According to the usual criteria, an athlete may not be overweight, but for a certain sport or for a weight category in which the athlete performs, his body weight may exceed the allowable norm. The demands of the sport often lead to attempts by the athlete to reduce weight at any cost. This often happens to the detriment of physical performance and overall health. The basic rule of thumb for the athlete is that any weight loss attempt should be aimed at achieving optimal weight and body mass composition for health and physical performance. In addition, any weight loss program must necessarily contain an educational component. Otherwise, eating disorders, diets, and various weight loss drugs that have flooded the market become an inevitable practice from which athletes are not protected either.

1. The advantage is not weight, but health and fitness:
- not aim to achieve unrealistic weight (it is useful, first of all, to answer the questions: have you ever kept the weight that you want to achieve without dieting; what was the last weight that you held; are there any prerequisites that weight loss improve physical fitness, etc.);
- pay more attention not to weight, but to body composition and lifestyle;
- prevent rapid weight loss;
- observe the accompanying weight loss changes in physical performance and general condition.

2. Changes in diet and eating behavior:
- not to starve and not to allow an excessive reduction in the calorie content of the diet (at least 1200-1500 kcal for women and at least 1500-1800 kcal for men);
- moderately reduce energy consumption and change the diet so that it is acceptable and achievable for your lifestyle;
- not to establish unrealistic dietary rules and not to deprive yourself of your favorite foods on a regular basis;
- reduce fat intake;
- eat more whole grains and cereals, vegetables and fruits, increase the amount of dietary fiber in the diet to 25 grams or more per day;
- do not skip meals and avoid a state of excessive hunger; have breakfast, as this will help not to overeat later;
- nutrition before training (competition) must be adequate;
- plan ahead for the possibility of snacks, take some healthy foods with you if necessary, always use high-carbohydrate foods after intense physical activity;
Know your weaknesses, such as: Do you eat more when you are anxious, upset, depressed? Can you resist the situation when people around you eat plentifully?

3. Correction of the schedule of physical activity:
- aerobic exercise and strength training should be included as a mandatory component of physical activity, as their presence is an absolute requirement for burning fat and maintaining muscle mass;
- these exercises should become regular regardless of the training itself.
Thus, first of all, it is desirable to make the necessary reasonable changes in the diet and schedule of physical activity of the athlete. In the event that weight loss for an athlete really remains a necessity, it is advisable to start a systematic weight loss program as early as possible, in order to avoid weight circulation in the future. Weight loss programs are not recommended in conjunction with periods of intense endurance training, as the training cannot be expected to be intense enough to improve the athlete's fitness. You should also be aware of the adverse effects on immune function of diets that are inadequate in energy and / or protein.

In practice, weight loss is divided by speed: gradual (from several months), moderate (several weeks) and rapid (24-72 hours). The most common method of rapidly losing body weight is through dehydration. In this context, this definition includes measures that affect water loss through increased sweating (sauna, special clothing, etc.). This is not to say that these methods do not have negative consequences (in the end, dehydration can disrupt thermoregulation), however, they remain a powerful tool for reducing body weight, if necessary, to do it in a short period of time.

For weight loss at any rate, the negative energy balance method is acceptable. Ideally, the athlete aims to achieve the desired weight in a real period of time and adheres to the tactics of gradual weight loss (maximum 0.5-1 kg per week).

With this approach - a negative energy balance due to an increase in energy expenditure and a decrease in energy consumption, minimal loss of "lean mass" is guaranteed. Ideally, the negative energy balance should be 400-800 kcal per day (reducing the average calorie intake by 10-25%). If the calorie intake of an athlete falls below 1800-1900 kcal per day, then the necessary replenishment of muscle glycogen reserves becomes difficult and adequate energy supply of physical activity during intense training is impossible. In addition, with very low-calorie diets (about 800 kcal per day), as well as low-calorie diets that have been practiced for a long time, a significant part of the weight loss is the loss of water and protein. Also, due to the reserves of water and protein (50 or more percent of the lost weight), weight loss occurs in the event of its rapid loss.

Often, athletes who practice weight loss programs already have a low percentage of body fat. In this case, the achievement of the required weight is possible only through the loss of "lean mass" with an insignificant contribution of the fat component. At the same time, weight loss occurs due to a decrease in water reserves in the body, muscle and liver glycogen stores, i.e. reserves that are extremely important for athletic performance.

The time remaining with the athlete after the procedure for determining the weight category immediately before the performance becomes very important. This remaining time must be properly used to restore glycogen stores, water, and replace electrolytes lost during dehydration. Sports drinks (5-10% carbohydrates and electrolytes), combined with high-carbohydrate sources such as sports bars (at least 2-3 hours before the competition), are well suited to meet these challenges in the short term.

In general, it is wise to adhere to the following guidelines:
- to compete in a real weight category, not to set unattainable goals;
- try to reduce weight gradually, strive for maximum loss of fatty component of body weight. In some cases, the following scheme is possible: to remove most of the excess weight gradually during the pre-competition period and the subsequent weight - by dehydration 24-48 hours before the competition;
- try to ensure that the training process is accompanied by a high-carbohydrate diet (60-70% of energy consumed due to carbohydrates), since muscle and liver glycogen stores should be raised in the best possible way, despite the period of weight loss;
- the recommended amount of protein is 1.2-1.8 g / kg of body weight, and the ratio “amount of protein: amount of energy received” is important and should increase in case of a decrease in the caloric content of the diet;
- use vitamin and mineral complexes if the amount of food consumed is limited for 3-4 weeks or more;
- maintain normal hydration during the training process, with the exception of the 24-48-hour period before the procedure for determining the weight category in case weight correction is necessary through dehydration;
- in the case of using dehydration for weight correction, try to maximize the period of time between the procedure for determining the weight category and the performance in order to use this time to restore energy reserves and water reserves in the body.

Holders of the patent RU 2405427:

The invention relates to medicine and can be used to correct human body weight. To do this, use a 3-4-day fast without limiting fluid intake. Then, the use of low-fat or low-fat foods is prescribed for one or two subsequent days of getting out of hunger. After that, the daily consumption of low-calorie food is 1000-1200 kcal / day until 12-14 days from the start of treatment. In this case, the patient is daily exposed to a full-spectrum artificial light from the side of the face with an illumination intensity of at least 2000 lux or natural light for 1-2 hours a day simultaneously or alternately with daily physical activity. The method makes it possible to achieve a persistent effect of reducing body weight, increase the availability of the method for patients, and reduce contraindications for use. 2 tab.

The method relates to medicine and can be used to correct overweight and in the complex therapy of obesity.

Overweight and obesity are characterized by an imbalance between the intake and expenditure of energy substrates. One of the reasons leading to the accumulation of excess fat is a decrease in the level of energy consumption of the body against the background of normal or excessive food intake. The main principle of obesity treatment is to shift the balance of "energy consumption - energy consumption", both in the direction of reducing energy consumption and in the direction of increasing energy consumption. Based on this, the following approaches are used in the treatment of obesity: fasting, diet therapy, physical activity (physiotherapy exercises), drug therapy, physiotherapy, psychotherapy, and surgical methods of treatment (1, 2).

Despite the increasing number of methods and means aimed at correcting body weight, their effectiveness remains rather low. According to the literature (3), only 5-10% of patients maintain the body weight achieved during treatment for 2 years. One of the reasons for the low effectiveness of obesity treatment is a decrease in the level of metabolic processes in response to prolonged dietary restrictions and, as a result, a slowdown in the rate of weight loss and re-gain in weight.

A known method of treating obese patients with a neuroendocrine form of hypothalamic syndrome (4). The patient undergoes short-term therapeutic fasting, including 3-5 days of hunger and 3 days of the recovery period. After a course of fasting, the patient is injected with a 0.02% sodium hypochlorite solution intravenously, dropwise, 200-400 ml every 1-2 days, 3 times. The proposed method of treatment allows you to obtain a stable effect of reducing body weight with the normalization of lipid and carbohydrate metabolism. The disadvantage of this method is that its use is limited by the presence in the patient of the neuroendocrine form of the hypothalamic syndrome, which accounts for only 5-10% of obese individuals. In addition, to obtain sodium hypochlorite, an apparatus for electrochemical detoxification of the body, EDO-3, is required. Another disadvantage of this method is the possibility of using it only in a hospital setting.

A known method of reducing body weight in patients with hypertension stage 1-2a in combination with alimentary-constitutional obesity (5). Patients exclude the intake of water and water procedures in the first 24-48 hours of fasting (absolute hunger). In the next 10-12 days, patients are carried out according to the usual scheme of therapeutic fasting, but limiting the daily intake of water to 10-12 ml / kg. This technique allows you to increase the reduction in body weight from 0.4-0.6 to 0.8-1.2 kg / day, accelerate the onset of an acidotic crisis and the beginning of active mobilization of fat from the depot (from 2-3 days), and achieve earlier periods stabilization of physiological indicators of blood pressure (for 2-5 days). As a result, the terms of inpatient treatment are reduced by 1.5-2 times. The disadvantages of this method include the fact that prolonged fasting for 12-14 days, in addition to the loss of adipose tissue, leads to a pronounced loss of muscle tissue, which is known to be the main organ that utilizes both exo- and endogenous fat. In addition, the disadvantage of the known method is that a decrease in the level of energy exchange as a result of prolonged fasting subsequently leads to a decrease in the rate of weight loss. In the phase of getting out of fasting without a properly selected diet therapy, as a rule, a rebound effect develops, i.e. re-gaining weight, sometimes exceeding the indicators before treatment. Another disadvantage of this method is that long-term absolute hunger is contraindicated in a number of diseases and can lead to their exacerbation (diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, such as gastritis, gastric ulcer; gout, heart rhythm disturbances, sleep disturbances).

A known method of treating alimentary obesity, including conducting psychotherapy in the waking state of the patient, with the help of verbal suggestion reinforce and enhance the motivation for weight loss, then enter the patient into a state of meditation, carry out an autoheterosuggestative effect, instill an indifferent attitude to food, cause anorexia-dysphatic sensations and enhance them by mechanical irritation of the anterior projection of the stomach, esophagus. The session is repeated in 1-2 days. The last session begins with irritation by acupuncture or acupressure of reflexogenic zones or points of the hypothalamic-pituitary system, the autonomic nervous system and the gastrointestinal tract. The program of introduction to the meditative state includes a program of weight loss, which is preliminarily calculated taking into account the parameters of weight loss for the first two sessions and the autoheterosuggative effect is repeated against the background of irritation of the reflex zones (6). The method requires at least three sessions of psychotherapeutic treatment. The known method has the same disadvantages as the previous one, in terms of limiting nutrition and the "rebound" response after the end of treatment. In addition, mechanical irritation of the projection area of the stomach and esophagus leads to undesirable consequences in persons with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, in particular with gastroesophageal reflux, gastric ulcer, etc.

There is a known method of treating obesity, including indirect psychotherapy in an environment of color-light accompaniment, during which the patient is told about the effect of holocolor therapy on the human body, in the process of offering food, table lamps are turned on on both sides of the cutlery, on the one hand, green, on the other hand, red so so that the light from them is directed to a plate with a high-calorie product that makes the patient excessively hungry. Behavioral psychotherapy is carried out aimed at forming an aversion to the specified product by visualizing this product and disgusting objects. Then, group training of psychological stability is carried out 10 times for 2 hours every other day (7). The disadvantages of this method include the fact that one part of the patients is resistant to psychotherapeutic influences, the other is overly susceptible, which leads to a persistent aversion to food and subsequent depletion of the body. In addition, aversion to certain foods causes psychological discomfort in patients both during and after the end of treatment.

There is a known method of treating obesity, including diet therapy and psychotherapeutic effects during collective-group sessions, while the main psychotherapeutic effect is carried out for two sessions of eight hours each by the marathon method under conditions of asthenization, achieving a failure of biorhythms and behavioral stereotypes, while developing motivation for a healthy nutrition, self-confidence and belief in success, form a weight loss program, visualize and concretize treatment, keep a diary of eating behavior, exercise psychological protection in the event of a diet disorder; after the main sessions, a psychotherapeutic effect is carried out for one session lasting three hours after one and three months, aimed at consolidating the results obtained, discussing and eliminating situations that provoke a relapse of obesity (8). The disadvantages of this method include the fact that asthenization and failure of biorhythms in the future can lead to an exacerbation of chronic diseases, aggravation of somnological disorders, which are already quite common in obese individuals.

A known method of treating obesity, including preliminary daily fasting, psychotherapeutic effects in a state of wakefulness by the method of group rational psychotherapy and diet therapy with the exclusion of high-calorie foods, while at the stage of group rational therapy, the achievement of the effect is associated with individual weight optimization due to overregulation of the self-regulating systems of the food center, after which in in the state of meditation, they carry out direct and indirect suggestive effects and form an active, positive emotional-volitional motivation for completing the diet program, rebuilding and subordinating the motivational scheme to socially significant motivations, for which they use psychosomatic paradigms in the form of short verbal plots and synchronously reinforce them with reflex action in the forehead and temporal lobes. lobes with fixation of physical pressure in the epigastric region, while the volume of food is limited to 1300-1500 ml per day and high-calorie foods are excluded in within 2-3 months (9). This method is not effective enough, because is aimed only at limiting the intake of food ingredients without increasing the body's energy consumption. In addition, long-term dietary restrictions lead to a decrease in the level of metabolic processes (including the breakdown of fat deposited in the body), which contributes to a subsequent increase in body weight. In addition, as mentioned above, some patients are resistant to psychotherapeutic influences.

There is a known method of treating obesity, including a preliminary conversation between a psychotherapist and a patient about the nature of the disease, the therapy being carried out, about the weight loss program, while setting the patient to an active position during treatment, with each positive statement, a "kinesthetic anchor" is set by touching the "leading" hand patient (right - right-handed, left - left-handed). Then, a course of treatment is carried out for 12 weeks, consisting of a combination of unloading and non-unloading diets, which alternate so that there are five unloading and two non-unloading days in one week; at night; in the intervals between taking the mixture, the use of vegetables in raw or boiled form (except for potatoes) and fruits (except for bananas and grapes) is allowed; on non-fasting days, meals are carried out as usual without increasing flour and sweet products and with a decrease in daily fat consumption to 35-40 g, while first a course of treatment for 14 days, and then on non-fasting days, a mixture is prescribed: figs, dried apricots, prunes in ratio 1: 1: 1, two tablespoons two hours after dinner. After 12 weeks and up to 6 months, the next course is carried out with the appointment of a hypocaloric diet with a low calorie content of 1200 kcal in the first month, followed by bringing to a value corresponding to the norm of the body's needs, while for 6 months of treatment, a psychotherapist and a nutritionist conduct dynamic monitoring of by a patient to control weight loss, adherence to a diet using an established "kinesthetic anchor" to consolidate the obtained positive result and maintain a complex of recommended therapy (10). The known method is not effective enough, because is aimed only at limiting the intake of food ingredients without increasing the body's energy consumption. In addition, some patients are resistant to psychotherapeutic effects, and the use of a low-calorie diet, as mentioned above, leads to a decrease in the level of metabolic processes, which contributes to a subsequent increase in body weight. For this reason, the method assumes long-term observation of the patient by a psychotherapist and the need for additional psychotherapeutic influence.

Closest to the claimed method is Tamaz Mchedlidze's method for correcting human weight, including keeping a diary of food behavior, fractional meals 4-6 times a day with restriction of salt, sugar and flour products; performing dosed physical activities, conducting thermal therapy and massage based on the techniques of classical, Thai, chiromassage and neurosedative massage. At the first meal, patients consume high-calorie carbohydrates with a high glycemic index, at the second, third and fourth meals - low-calorie carbohydrates with a low glycemic index; from the second half of the day they switch to protein foods. Physical activity is first performed with moderate intensity at a heart rate of 50-60% of the maximum pulse value, and then with an average intensity at a pulse rate of 60-70% of the maximum pulse value. The value of the maximum heart rate is calculated by the formula: 208- (0.7 × X), where X is age. Thermal treatment is carried out before bedtime at a temperature of 70-80 ° C, followed by dipping in cold water. Physical activity with moderate intensity is carried out during walking, swimming, cycling and while performing light aerobic exercises, and physical activity with moderate intensity is carried out during race walking, intensive swimming, and active fitness. Physical activity is carried out at least three sessions per week for 45 minutes. Chiromassage includes at least one of the following techniques: lymphatic drainage techniques, kneading, neurocutaneous manipulations, stroking. Thai massage includes at least one of the following techniques: acupuncture of bioactive points with the pads of the thumbs, pressure with the palms and feet. With a moderate restriction of food, the effect of weight loss is achieved by combining a diet with physical activity, thermal therapy and massage, which increase the level of metabolic processes (including the breakdown of fat deposited in the body) (11). The disadvantage of this method is that the patient has contraindications to the use of thermal therapy and massage (ischemic heart disease, arterial hypertension, diseases of the joints, veins, benign neoplasms, such as fibroids, etc.). Another disadvantage is the inaccessibility of chiromassage, Thai and neurosedative massages for a wide range of patients due to its high cost or the lack of this type of service at the place of residence (in a polyclinic or a specialized center). In addition, the cessation of physical activity in combination with massage and thermal therapy often leads to the return of weight.

The problem to be solved by the invention is to increase the availability of the method for patients, reduce contraindications for use, achieve a persistent effect of reducing body weight.

The solution to this problem is achieved by the fact that patients are prescribed a 3-4-day fast without restriction of fluid intake, then the intake of low-fat or low-fat foods for one or two days of getting out of hunger, then the daily intake of low-calorie food 1000-1200 kcal / day up to 12- 14 days from the start of treatment; daily exposure of the patient from the face to full-spectrum artificial light with an illumination intensity of at least 2000 lux or natural for 1-2 hours a day simultaneously or alternately with daily dosed physical activity.

Description of the essence of the invention

The method involves fasting the patient for 3-4 days without restricting fluid intake, then taking low-fat or low-fat foods for 1-2 days of getting out of hunger. On the following days, daily up to 12-14 days, inclusively from the beginning of treatment, they consume low-calorie food 1000-1200 kcal / day. From the first day, the patient is exposed to a full-spectrum artificial light on the face with an illumination intensity of at least 2000 lux for 1-2 hours a day, simultaneously or alternately with daily dosed physical exertion.

Dosed physical activity is prescribed until the pulse rate does not exceed the threshold value determined by known methods, for example, according to (11) or Table 1, after the patient has been examined by a specialist, an ECG is recorded and in the absence of contraindications.

The duration of periods of fasting and recovery from hunger is determined depending on the concomitant diseases. When fasting in the first 3-4 days, they use, for example, water, rosehip broth, broth of oats, etc. , vinaigrette, slimy decoctions, such as rice, etc. As low-calorie foods up to 12-14 days inclusive, the products listed in the attached version of the basic low-calorie diet or those close to them in calorie content can be used.

An example of a basic low-calorie diet for obese patients (1000-1200 kcal per day)

Breakfast 1: porridge (buckwheat, oatmeal, pearl barley); rye bread, tea, coffee, vegetable or fruit juices.

Breakfast 2: carrot or apple or pear.

Lunch: vegetarian cabbage soup (in vegetable broth); raw or stewed vegetables (cabbage, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, green onions, parsley, lettuce) seasoned with vegetable oil; boiled meat (or steamed cutlet); dried fruit compote (without sugar).

Afternoon snack: a teaspoon of fruit and nut mixture (for example, prunes, dried apricots, raisins, walnuts, lemon, honey).

Dinner: fish, lean meat (boiled or steamed) or soy products; vegetable stew or a side dish of cereals (buckwheat, oatmeal, barley); green tea.

When exposed to artificial light, use full-spectrum lamps (fluorescent lamps) with an illumination intensity of at least 2000 lux or natural light outdoors. The duration of exposure is 1-2 hours a day. The distance from the patient's face to the light source is 50-60 cm, the patient should be in front of the light source, while not looking at it.

When using natural light, the patient is prescribed daily 1-2 hour outdoor walks depending on the light intensity (for example, one hour in sunny or 2 hours in cloudy weather). The intensity of illumination in cloudy weather is usually 2000-2500 lux, in sunny weather - up to 10,000 lux.

It is advisable to be exposed to natural or artificial light in the morning or afternoon, so as not to cause a disruption in the circadian rhythms of the patient's body. The duration of the course of light therapy is 12-14 days.

Walking, race walking, etc. are used as physical activity. or active movement in a small vehicle, such as a bicycle, pedal boat, sports wheelchair without automatic movement, propelled by the patient's independent efforts, etc.

In a room for physical activity, a simulator can be used, for example, in the form of a treadmill, etc. In the first days of treatment (hunger), physical activity can be lighter with an increase to moderate in the following days. An example of the mode of selection of physical loads during the course of weight correction depending on the age of the patient is presented in Table 2. During the load, it is necessary to ensure that the pulse is within the range corresponding to the age and the magnitude of the load. If there is severe shortness of breath and excessive sweating, the patient is advised to reduce the exertion or stop and rest.

In the absence of contraindications, water procedures (for example, Charcot's shower), physiotherapy (electromyostimulation, massage) can be used as additional, but not mandatory to achieve the declared effect. Contraindications to these effects are allergic skin diseases, dermatitis of a different nature, varicose veins, benign neoplasms (fibroids, mastopathy), progressive hypertension, the presence of a pacemaker, etc. Perhaps, but also not necessarily, the use of rational psychotherapy methods aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Examples of specific implementation

1. Examples of individual implementation of the method

Patient K., 45 years old, body weight on admission 101 kg, height 164 cm. Diagnosis - alimentary-constitutional obesity of the 2nd degree. Concomitant diseases: hypertensive type neurocirculatory dystonia, chronic cholecystitis. Correction of body weight was carried out according to the claimed method in a hospital setting, including a 14-day course of unloading and dietary therapy (3 days of hunger, 1 day of getting out of hunger with a further transition to low-calorie food within 1000-1200 kcal / day), light therapy using lamps daylight, intensity 2000-2500 lux, exposure at a distance of 50-60 cm for 2 hours a day. In addition, in the treatment throughout the course, daily physical activity was used - walking on a treadmill or exercises in the group of physiotherapy exercises - for a total duration of 1-2 hours per day. During the course of correction, body weight decreased by 4.5 kg. Body weight after treatment is 96.5 kg.

After the end of treatment for the outpatient period, it was recommended to adhere to a low-calorie diet in the range of 1200-1500 kcal / day, daily walks in the daytime for at least 40 minutes. Following these recommendations, over the past 3 months after the end of treatment, the patient reduced her body weight by another 2.7 kg.

Example 2. Patient R., 35 years old, body weight 75 kg, height 170 cm, diagnosis - overweight. Concomitant diagnosis: chronic bronchitis without exacerbation, hay fever. She applied for a seasonal increase in body weight. The patient notes that over the past 3 years, in the autumn-winter period, body weight has increased by 3-5 kg. Within 12 days, the body weight was corrected according to the claimed method. Diet therapy was prescribed, including 4 days of hunger, 2 days of getting out of hunger, followed by the use of low-calorie foods 1000-1200 kcal / day. The patient was prescribed physical activity simultaneously with exposure to natural light in the form of daily walks during daylight hours (preferably in the morning) for 1-2 hours a day. During the course of the correction, body weight decreased by 1.5 kg.

Further recommendations included the consumption of low-calorie food 1200-1500 kcal / day, walking in the daytime for at least 40 minutes daily. 3 months after the end of treatment and adherence to these recommendations, the patient's body weight decreased by another 4.5 kg and amounted to 69.5 kg, which is normal.

2. Group research

Correction of human body weight was carried out according to the claimed method in comparison with other widely used methods of correction of body weight. For this, 3 groups of obese women were identified. Group I - 26 patients with a body mass index (BMI) of 36.2 ± 1.63 kg / m2, group II - 30 women with a BMI of 35.9 ± 1.63 kg / m2, group III - 24 women with BMI 37.7 ± 2.23 kg / m 2.

Common in the treatment regimen was: 4-day fasting without restriction of fluid intake, including rosehip decoction, followed by 2-day recovery from hunger (600 ml of kefir daily) and a further transition to a hypocaloric (1000-1200 kcal / day) diet nutrition. All patients received the same water (Charcot's shower) and physiotherapy (electromyostimulation) procedures. There were no other appointments in group I. In group II, daily aerobic physical activity was additionally used (40 minutes of walking on a treadmill and 30 minutes of exercise in the group of physiotherapy exercises).

In group III, the body weight was corrected according to the claimed method. The patients were prescribed a 4-day fast without restriction of fluid intake, including a rosehip decoction, followed by a 2-day recovery from hunger (600 ml of kefir daily) and a further transition to a hypocaloric (1000-1200 kcal / day) diet. While walking on a treadmill, phototherapy sessions were simultaneously carried out according to the claimed method: the patients were exposed to the light of full-spectrum fluorescent lamps with an illumination intensity of 2000-2500 lux at a distance of 50-60 cm from the face for a duration of 40 minutes.

The effect of phototherapy on the activity of metabolic processes (energy exchange) was assessed by the change in the amount of consumed oxygen, as the main oxidant of metabolic processes. To determine energy consumption at rest, an indirect calorimetry method was used - oxyspirography, under conditions of thermal comfort (at a temperature of + 20 ° C) and relative rest, 1.5 hours after breakfast and after 20 minutes of rest. In accordance with the methodology proposed by N.N. Kataev. (12), the subject in a sitting position adapted for 1 min to breathing through the mouthpiece and the facecock, then the latter was connected to the breathing circuit of the spirograph at the level of calm exhalation. After connecting the subject to the spirograph, after 5-7 minutes of quiet breathing, oxygen consumption was determined.

As a result of two-week treatment in group I, body weight decreased on average 3.0 ± 1.1 kg. At the same time, the level of PO 2 tended to decrease and amounted to 248.5 ± 34.3 ml / min before treatment and 233.4 ± 29.2 ml / min (p = 0.14) by the end of the two-week course of treatment. This group demonstrates the process of reducing the level of energy exchange in response to restricting the calorie content of the diet. In group II, body weight decreased by 4.31 ± 1.12 kg, the level of oxygen consumption tended to increase from 242.1 ± 24.2 to 256.1 ± 42.4 (p = 0.22). In group III, the decrease in body weight was most pronounced - 4.93 ± 1.02 kg, against the background of an increase in the level of oxygen consumption from 252.8 ± 31.9 to 303.2 ± 68.4 ml / min (p<0,001) или 120% относительно исходного уровня.

The duration of the activating effect of phototherapy on energy exchange was determined in one case. So the level of PO 2 initially was 212.3 ml, immediately after the session it increased to 279.1 ml, (131.4% to the initial), 1 hour after the end of the light exposure, it was 266.9 ml (125.7% to original), after 2 hours - 254.8 ml (120% to the original). It can be seen that exposure to light has a fairly pronounced trace reaction to energy exchange. The combination of physical activity with phototherapy against the background of a hypocaloric diet allows a steady decrease in the patient's body weight.

The advantages of the claimed method are that it can be used in patients with concomitant diseases in which physiotherapy, massage, and intense physical activity are contraindicated. The method provides a stable effect of reducing body weight, while psychological correction is optional, which is important for patients who refuse psychological influence or are resistant to it. The method is easily reproducible, it can be used by people who have restrictions on the performance of physical activities, including people with limited mobility, for example, wheelchair users.

Weight correction: everything you need to know about the procedure

In this article, you will learn:

    How to correct weight correction

    What should be the diet for weight correction

    How do psychological weight correction work?

    What are the hardware methods of weight correction in beauty salons

    How much does a weight correction program cost in Moscow

Unfortunately, the question of excess weight has already been raised at the global level: the number of people facing obesity is rapidly increasing. It is quite obvious that the number of different diets intended for weight correction has also increased. However, their result does not always meet expectations. Today, most experts have come to the conclusion that weight correction with diet is a dubious method that guarantees only a temporary effect. They suggest considering various treatments for weight loss.

How should body and weight be corrected correctly?

Just imagine that the global number of obese patients is the same as the number of hungry people. Humanity simply needs weight correction.

Improving living standards, exceeding the norms of food consumption and progressive dysfunctions of the body gradually lead humanity to overweight. Half of the population in developed countries has weight problems and needs weight correction. People suffer from diabetes, suffer from immune diseases, pulmonary and cardiovascular diseases, as well as diseases of the musculoskeletal system.

Please note that our conversation will focus not so much on the fight against obesity and cellulite, but on weight correction, and these are different problems, which means that the methods of their solution are not identical to each other.

The first thing you need to know about weight correction is that it is carried out under the supervision of a specialist. This is a very complex process, developed taking into account the characteristics of the body of a particular person. Stereotypes and amateur performance in body shaping can harm the body.

The initial step is a thorough examination of the body. The endocrine system and the gastrointestinal tract are checked, a general blood test and biochemistry are taken, etc.

Girls also need to consult a gynecologist in order to exclude any inflammation, cancer or endometriosis. The completed examination will help to form an effective, and most importantly safe for health, action plan for weight correction.

If the patient decides to refrain from medical examination, then he unnecessarily risks his health. Certain methods of weight correction have serious contraindications, and if they are neglected, the patient will cause great harm to his body.

Unfortunately, there have been recorded cases of death in the race for thinness. These are very rare situations, but they prove that weight correction must be approached with the utmost responsibility and that you need to think first of all about health.

A comprehensive weight correction program includes:

    Proper nutrition,

    Special hardware procedures,

  • Physical activity.

Adipose tissue contains a very large amount of water. It is for this reason that the process of weight correction begins with lymphatic drainage, which allows you to remove excess fluid from the patient's body. Then they move on to the breakdown of fats, stimulation of muscle fibers to reduce the volume of intermuscular fat. The last stage of weight correction is considered to be carrying out procedures that help restore skin elasticity.

What are the settings for weight correction?

It is very difficult for everyone who is faced with the problem of excess weight to live with it. Thus, the human body reacts to stress, neglect of sports, overeating, inattention to the quality of nutrition, etc. Unfortunately, the current rhythm of life for most people sets similar conditions. But at the same time, we were taught that only eternally young, slim, fit models and actresses are considered a benchmark. Do not take into account such propaganda, always listen to yourself and your own body, because beauty can be different. Interest in the right way of life can be called a good trend in recent years. The main thing is not the pursuit of a mythical ideal, but health. Weight correction should primarily be aimed at improving the patient's health, and only then at the aesthetic result.

To date, many formulas have been developed that can determine the appropriate weight for you. They are easy to find on the Internet or in specialized literature. Often, these formulas show different results, so it is better to contact a weight correction specialist for accurate information. We ask you to remember that the ideal parameters are not those dictated by society, but those that will help you feel comfortable. Before correcting excess weight, you need to clearly understand what your goal is, what results you want to achieve! Perhaps your weight suits you, but you want to adjust the parameters, or maybe you need to tone your muscles? The goals are very different.

    Effective weight correction involves a number of complex measures. First of all, you must be motivated to change. Naturally, the ultimate goal may be different: someone is losing weight solely for physical health, someone wants to maintain a morale, getting rid of complexes. The most important thing is confidence in your intentions and desires.

    In order to feel light and comfortable, you need to change your lifestyle. The first position in this case is taken by proper nutrition, which should become your constant companion, because then you can not only lose weight, but you will also feel great. The customs of the country in which we live, from childhood, accustom us to abundant nutrition. Remember any holiday - the table is always full of non-dietary dishes! But by revising the traditions of your family, you will set an example for your environment. We are not asking you to exclude treats from the reception procedure, but creating a more useful menu is very effective in correcting excess weight. You need to understand that in order to achieve results, you will have to regularly adhere to a healthy diet. As statistics show, temporary diets do not give tangible, let alone long-term effects.

    Everyone knows that a sedentary lifestyle leads to the accumulation of excess weight. If you have not been involved in sports since school, then this item is for you. You don't have to go to grueling workouts at the fitness center, today you can find activities for every taste, even for those who have never been interested in sports. Yoga, Pilates, body flex, water aerobics ... The list goes on for a long time. Sport will not only correct your figure, but also strengthen your body as a whole. Physical activity improves cardiac activity, develops endurance, etc. When training becomes a habit, you will feel that you have become more energetic, more active and more mobile. Remember, this is also a great stress management method! Physical activity is an integral part of weight management!

    Please note that losing more than 2–3 kilograms of weight can worsen your skin condition. It's a shame, but fast weight loss usually doesn't guarantee cellulite will disappear. On the contrary, such changes in weight can cause stretch marks and sagging skin. It is possible to minimize this effect by sports activities and massage. Now there are many methods to combat cellulite. Numerous beauty salons provide various services in this direction, but do not forget that they should only work in conjunction with healthy nutrition and sports, which are included in your weight correction program.

    Often, the real reason for the appearance of excess weight is hidden very deeply. If the basic methods, including proper nutrition, the necessary physical activity and appropriate procedures, did not produce the desired effect, then most likely you need to visit a psychotherapist, which will help to continue the correction of excess weight. The position of doctors in this direction is that overweight is, in first of all, a psychosomatic illness, which has certain grounds (lack of attention, love and care), as well as some obstacles and attitudes that inhibit the process of weight correction are possible. These are the problems that psychotherapists try to solve. After undergoing therapy, you will be able to better understand your body and yourself.

Maintaining a healthy weight at all times is an integral part of a healthy lifestyle. And with a competent approach, work in this direction can give you many pleasant moments and pleasure in general!

What should be the nutrition for body shaping

Have you decided to lose weight a long time ago, but there is no result? Have you been on exhausting diets for a long time, but the weight quickly returned? Experts never tire of repeating: for healthy long-term weight loss, it makes no sense to sit on rigid diets and overload yourself with unbearable physical exercises. Eating food should be balanced, which implies the presence in the diet of a certain amount of both fats and carbohydrates, as well as proteins. For a good result, you just need to adhere to the norms of eating behavior and attend procedures for the correction of weight and shape. There are various packages of services designed to lose weight and keep the body in shape. We present you with a list of recommendations that must be followed when undergoing a weight correction program:

    Drink plenty of water - at least two liters of clean water a day.

    Frequent meals - 5 - 6 times a day.

    It is better to eat from dishes of small volume and dark color.

    You can not eat before bed - the last meal in 3-4 hours.

    Steam.

    Get into the habit of scrutinizing product labels - ingredients, calories, carbohydrates, etc.

    Only eat when you are hungry.

    If you feel a little hungry, you can have a light snack. Use dry fruits without added sugar, nuts, muesli and fresh fruit for this.

Try to eliminate from your diet:

    All sweets. The use of honey or natural jam is allowed, but in small doses and up to two in the afternoon.

    We'll have to give up starchy foods. Switch to wholemeal bread with cereals, but also its amount should be minimized.

    Alcoholic drinks do not contribute to weight loss - there are a lot of calories even in a small dose.

Many, in pursuit of the ideal weight, begin to set themselves all sorts of prohibitions, but this can even worsen the situation. Believe me, it is better to periodically allow yourself some weakness, but in very small quantities. It is necessary to introduce into the habit only the early use of sweets. If you really allow yourself something, then only in the first half of the day. Remember that by consuming junk food during low activity of your body, you automatically acquire fat, because the body very quickly converts unused fast carbohydrates into it. The transformation process is very fast when eating fatty sweet foods - cakes, pastries, chocolates. When correcting weight, you need to make sure that the sweets eaten do not turn into fat, and for this you will have to work hard, spending a huge amount of energy. Therefore, it is better to get used to fruits, dried fruits, honey, natural jam, marshmallows and pastilles. Such sweets are more easily burned by the body, but only with sufficient physical activity.

How does psychological weight correction work?

Most likely, many of you have heard about psychological weight correction. It is believed that it helps to cope with increased appetite, and also relieves self-doubt. But can such information be trusted? Wouldn't it be better to spend that money on exercising at a good fitness club? Let's figure it out.

Today there are two main methods of psychological weight correction:

Cognitive approach

This method affects the patient's consciousness, providing psychological assistance in weight correction. There are conversations with a specialist, during which it becomes clear that weight gain is only your merit, but it is pointless to be angry with yourself because of this. Psychological weight management controlled by a cognitive therapist is:

    Organization and detailed study of the patient's food diary, in which he indicates not only what he ate, but also why;

    Study of your individual traits, identification of possible dependencies;

    Search for secondary reasons for being overweight, for example, fear of serious relationships, because "there are no normal men." Believe it or not, this is a common hidden reason for many ladies;

    A gradual increase in self-esteem.

As a result of cognitive therapy, you will still be prescribed dietary food for weight correction, but it will be easier to adhere to it, because psychological preparation contributes well to this.

Hypnotherapy

This method of weight correction is usually cheaper than the previous one. Most often it is carried out in the form of group sessions. This is a very common technique in weight correction centers, of which there are quite a few. Hypnotherapy is based on immersing the patient in a trance and instilling in him a hatred of overeating. In our country, there are several confirmed organizations that are engaged in group hypnotherapy. If you decide to visit such a weight correction center, then be sure to ask for a license or certificate before the procedure. Unfortunately, there have been recorded cases of incorrect attitudes that lead to complex mental disorders.

The goals of hypnotherapy are not too deep - you need to get rid of the cravings for overeating. With the inner world of a person, with his problems, lack of confidence, etc. this weight correction technique does not interact.

What are the methods of weight correction

Weight Loss Drugs

Many firms provide appropriate pills for the consumer interested in losing weight. You can also find a wide variety of cocktails for weight correction. Their price is different, but, unfortunately, all these methods are the same. This is nothing more than a marketing ploy by sellers. You will only waste your money, and sometimes your health, without achieving the desired result in weight correction. If at least superficially study the physical processes taking place inside the human body, it becomes clear where the excess weight comes from. Nothing but cutting back on food, exercising, and some procedures can help in weight loss.

A very small fraction of the total volume of tablets sold is actually created by scientists who have an idea of how to influence the formation and use of fat in the body. For example, L-carnitine takes part in the metabolism, but only at the time of its intake. When you finish taking L-carnitine, your lost pounds may return. Especially if you violate the regimen of the nutrition set for the correction of weight.

All other drugs for burning fat are at least harmless and ineffective, and as a maximum they can be harmful to health. The usual effects are diuretic or laxative effects, as well as mild and short-term loss of appetite. Naturally, no drugs will be able to lose weight for you, and even more so will not help you in an attempt to maintain any result of weight correction.

Weight loss hardware methods

Experience has shown that turning to a healthy diet is not as easy as we would like it to be. The day of a modern person is scheduled by the hour, there are always a lot of worries, and they are all very important. Study, work, family, home - all this requires a huge amount of time and moral resources from a person. The daily schedule does not allow most people to adjust the timing of their meal as directed by the weight management specialists. In addition, a low-calorie diet is not always available - sometimes there are no certain foods, sometimes there is no time. Especially if you consider the situation of a working office, when there is simply no way to come home and have lunch.

As for intensive sports in the gym or on the street, many people who have started weight correction stop training due to the lack of the necessary willpower, and someone simply cannot fit into their busy schedule a visit to a fitness center.

A healthy diet and physical activity will not provide a quick weight correction, so even those people who were able to find the time and energy for this may be disappointed in the modest results. How to speed up the process of losing weight? Going under a surgical knife for this does not seem like a smart decision to most people, but there are also more attractive and safer methods of influencing body fat. We will tell you about hardware weight correction. This procedure will speed up the process of losing weight, relieve you of cellulite. It can act on localized fat deposits that are not affected by exercise. Various methods of aesthetic cosmetology provide safe therapeutic services that can help you in weight correction, in the shortest possible time and without the need for a recovery period.

What are the hardware weight correction techniques?

Lymphatic drainage massage

The body's lymphatic system is built from a large number of vessels and ducts that carry lymph. Lymph is used to get rid of toxins and to saturate cells with nutrients. Lymphatic drainage massage is used to remove fluid, which helps to get rid of edema and fatty accumulations, activates the immune system, helps relieve stress and fatigue. Today, there are two ways to carry out lymphatic drainage massage:

    Manual... It is carried out to activate the lymphatic system from superficial to deep levels. The procedure must be carried out only by a qualified specialist who is able to understand which area of the body is overstressed and should be developed.

    Hardware... This method includes pressotherapy and LPG massage.

Mesotherapy

In medical practice, this method of weight correction is called mesotherapeutic liposuction. The result of this technique can be compared to the surgical removal of fat. The advantage is the lack of a rehabilitation period. And the procedure itself does not cause severe discomfort or any pain.

This cosmetic procedure is not complex. It consists in administering a special drug that destroys fat. Moreover, the injection is carried out with short needles. The substance itself does not remain in the body. Decomposition products are excreted naturally through the circulatory system. Interestingly, the area of destroyed fat cells is no longer covered with new ones, which allows us to call mesotherapy a long-term and effective method of weight correction.

There are many substances of different composition that can break down adipose tissue. The choice between them should be made by an experienced physician and based on the characteristics of the patient's body.

Endermologic massage (LPG massage)

The meaning of LPG massage is in the impact on the body with rollers. The procedure is as follows: the first roller fixes the skin, and the other smoothes it. This effect on the skin and fat cells occurs with a continuous supply of vacuum. As a result, collagen is produced, from which the skin skeleton with the desired structure is built. In addition, this massage promotes microcirculation and stagnation of intercellular fluid.

LPG-procedure helps to reduce body volume, breaks down local fatty accumulations, fights edema, increases skin elasticity, removes cellulite and corrects body contours.

When correcting weight to achieve the desired effect, you cannot do with one procedure. Usually at least 10 sessions are needed. One procedure will take from 20 to 40 minutes, you can do it a couple of times a week. In this case, the effect will last for about six months.

In our country, LPG massage is visited by about 250 thousand people every year, striving for weight correction. This procedure is not dangerous at all, contraindications to it are minimal.

Pressotherapy

Pressotherapy is another type of apparatus lymphatic drainage massage. The procedure helps to correct weight by reducing the amount of fat accumulation. The patient puts on a special suit, which consists of a pair of boots, similar to a jacket, gloves, and a belt. All parts are inflated with compressed air, its supply and pressure alternate, producing a mechanical effect that is controlled through the apparatus. Pressotherapy has a positive effect not only in weight correction, but also in the fight against cellulite and varicose veins.

Ultrasonic cavitation

This is a relatively new technology for weight correction based on the breakdown of fatty deposits by means of ultrasound. The problem areas are affected by a device that destroys the subcutaneous layer of fat. The rest of the tissues are not affected by ultrasound due to their greater density. Due to the decrease in pressure, the skin, nerves and blood vessels are also safe.

The effect of cavitation in weight correction is not worse than that of surgical liposuction. The advantages of the procedure are the absence of a recovery period and complications.

Cavitation is performed both on the body and on the face of the patient. Therefore, with its help, you can even get rid of a double chin, excess fat on the shoulders, abdomen and chest. In addition, this procedure tightens the skin, which eliminates the need for clipping, unlike liposuction.

Anticellulite massage

Cellulite is a very common problem among women. Orange peel not only looks bad, but also creates discomfort in everyday life. Unfortunately, when losing weight, it is not always possible to get rid of this ailment, therefore, when correcting and losing weight, the issue of cellulite becomes very acute. You can fight this problem by attending massage courses. Anti-cellulite massage is aimed at lymph drainage and improvement of skin tone. The usual areas of influence are the buttocks and thighs, which is where cellulite is usually found.

A professional massage stabilizes blood circulation, which allows skin cells to be nourished. So the skin acquires firmness and elasticity, it becomes easier for it to keep its shape and fight against the formation of changes. Only a true professional with extensive experience in this area of aesthetic medicine can carry out the procedure correctly. Independent procedures are unlikely to give any result. In addition, they can harm the body.

For anti-cellulite massage, various creams and auxiliaries are used that can break down excess fat and have a beneficial effect on the skin. During the procedure, all products are easily absorbed, which occurs due to the mechanical effects of the masseur. The course of weight correction using anti-cellulite massage usually consists of 12 or 15 sessions.

Ozone correction is considered an excellent substitute for injections of indirect and direct lipolytics. Due to the strong selective effect on the cell membrane of the fat cell, the adipocyte wall is destroyed, which helps the rapid burning of fat. Lipolysis, starting metabolism, decreasing lipid peroxidation and free-radical processes in tissues lead to a decrease in fat mass, which means weight loss.

The products of the biochemical action of reactive oxygen species and ozone do not harm the body. They are more likely to go into water, which is why this method is often used among the complex effects on metabolic syndrome, as well as a way to reduce weight and fight cellulite.

When correcting weight, this procedure for one area will cost you from 2600 rubles.

I want to tell you about the psychological correction of weight. In my case, everything was easy enough. First, the psychologist identified the reasons for my overeating. It turned out that I simply did not understand at the time of eating, that I was already overeating, that I did not need such an amount of food. And of course other points: distracted, nervous, etc. After this information was fixed in my mind, I began to think that in most cases I just want to chew something. Then I started a food diary, and I found an incredible amount of excess wrong food. After that, I tried to eat only when I felt real hunger! I started to eat only the right foods (complex carbohydrates). As a result, I did not need sessions to normalize my nutrition. At the same time, I did not starve, but ate quite normally. So in two months I lost almost 10 kilograms, but the rest went much slower. I myself could not have come to such a result, because before that I had tried many times, but to no avail.

Alena (31 years old), Perm

Several months ago, I decided on a weight correction. I found a salon in Moscow and underwent a course of getting rid of cellulite. It's just that after pregnancy it is very noticeable.

They put on a special suit and began to squeeze me. I even felt like an astronaut!

It was explained to me that the procedure improves lymphatic drainage, blood flow and metabolism. After the procedure, cellulite almost disappeared, and I also lost 2.5 kilograms of weight and 2 cm of volume.

The types of physical activity that stimulate an increase in oxygen consumption during exercise include various cyclic movements performed with moderate intensity for a sufficiently long time, which contributes to the processes of reducing the fat component of body weight.

    the first 20-30 minutes of a training session, energy is formed from carbohydrates (glycogen and glucose);

    the calorie content of 1 g of fat is 9 kcal;

    to perform work with an intensity of 120-140 beats / min for 1 minute, 10 kcal is required;

    the last 5-7 minutes of the training session are devoted to relaxation and flexibility exercises, which do not require a significant amount of energy,

then in one aerobic training lesson lasting 1 hour, about 30 g of fat is burned:

It follows that to reduce total body weight due to the fat component for 3 kg, you need to complete about 100 workouts, but at the same time daily fat intake and total calorie intake from food should not exceed the daily allowance of an untrained person!

Therefore, when solving problems to reduce the fat component of body weight, it is necessary to simultaneously solve the problem, first of all, to develop general endurance, which will allow performing aerobic exercises for a long time.

In order for aerobic activities that stimulate weight correction to be successful, it is necessary to take into account the following:

    duration performing exercises of aerobic orientation should be at least 1 hour;

    selection of an exercise is determined by the student's positive attitude to the selected exercise and his ability to perform this exercise, because otherwise, the student will spend a large amount of mental and physical strength on its implementation, so it will be difficult to perform the exercise for a long time (a person who is poor skiing and has a negative attitude to low temperatures will not be able to reach and maintain the required level of intensity for a long time);

    the best effect is brought by exercises that are performed in conditions that require additional expenditure of energy not related to the work of motor muscles, such exercises include swimming, and doing exercises outside in the cold season, in this case the body additionally spends energy on heating the body;

    exercises are performed in well ventilated area or outdoors, which increases the percentage of oxygen in the air. Clothing should be made of materials that are highly breathable and absorb moisture (sweat). It is unacceptable to use cling film as a wrapping material, supposedly contributing to an increase in fat burning in a selected area of the body. Violation of skin respiration in this case leads to a slowdown in metabolic processes, which in no way stimulates the use of fats as energy resources;

    intensity exercise should be increased gradually with 30% in the first lessons and up to 60% according to Karvonen's formula (Appendix 2) and no more, since more intense performance of the exercise leads to the deployment of aerobic anaerobic processes, as a result of which oxygen consumption may decrease, and therefore a decrease in the amount of fat spent on energy supply, in addition, the amount of lactic acid in muscle cells increases, which leads to rapid fatigue and termination of the exercise;

    the main method of doing the exercise is uniform, i.e. without rest during the entire training session;

    the number of lessons per week should be at least 3 with a break of one day, but no more than 6, so you need to give time to recover;

    and, of course, monitor the quantity and quality of food. The amount of food should not exceed the daily requirement, which depends on gender (on average, the daily energy consumption of boys is 2700 kcal, girls - 2400 kcal), age (at a young age, the daily energy consumption is greater), body weight of an individual (the greater the body weight, the more body tissues, the more calories are required for basic metabolism), the nature and intensity of labor, household and educational activities (Table 6), as well as the individual's motor activity (Table 7).

The quality composition of food must also meet the needs of the body. The food should include foods containing the following elements: proteins, fats, carbohydrates in an approximate ratio of 1: 0.5: 4, water, minerals, vitamins and vegetable fiber.

Squirrels- a necessary building material for cell protoplasm. They perform special functions in the body. All enzymes, many hormones, retinal visual purple, oxygen carriers, enzymes, protective substances and blood cells are protein bodies. In tissues and cells, the destruction and synthesis of protein structures is continuously going on. In a conditionally healthy body of an adult, the amount of decomposed protein is equal to the amount of synthesized protein. Among other things, proteins, with a lack of carbohydrates, are sources of energy. The daily protein requirement for a regularly exercising person is 1-1.5 g per 1 kg of body weight.

Fats- an important source of energy in the body, an essential component of cells. Excess fat can be deposited in the body. They are deposited mainly in the subcutaneous fatty tissue, omentum, liver and other internal organs. The total amount of fat in a person can be 10-12% of body weight, and with obesity - 40-50%. Fat is used as a plastic and energetic material, covers various organs, protecting them from mechanical stress. The accumulation of fat in the abdominal cavity ensures the fixation of the internal organs. Subcutaneous fatty tissue, being a poor conductor of heat, protects the body from unnecessary heat loss. Fat is part of the secretion of the sebaceous glands, protects the skin from drying out and excessive wetting in contact with water, is a necessary component of food. Dietary fat contains some vital vitamins. Also fats participate in the formation of fatty acids that ensure the usefulness of metabolic processes. The daily rate of fat is 20-30 g, regardless of the body weight of the individual! Moreover, the higher the fat content of the body weight, the lower the consumption of fat from food should be. So, for example, an individual weighing 90 kg requires 20 g of fat per day, with a weight of 60 kg - 30 g.

Carbohydrates- the main source of energy in the body. If the blood glucose level falls below 60-70 mg% (i.e. 60-70 mg per 100 ml of blood), then the transition of glucose from the blood to the nerve cells almost stops. With such a low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), seizures, loss of consciousness (hypoglycemic shock) appear and life is threatened. Excess sugar (after eating food rich in carbohydrates) is converted into glycogen in the liver and muscles and is stored there (deposited). Also, an excess of carbohydrates, especially in women, leads to their processing into adipose tissue. Therefore, when setting goals for reducing the fat component of body weight, it will be relevant low carb diet, allowing you to quickly approach the threshold for breaking down fats during training, while at the same time not creating a deficit in energy for the basal metabolism, which is necessary for the life of the body. The daily requirement of carbohydrates in a systematically exercising person is 400-500 g per day, regardless of body weight. However, if there are tasks for weight loss, then the amount of carbohydrates must be significantly reduced to a level that provides basic metabolism, and even possibly lower, necessary to maintain life in a state of complete rest (for men weighing 70 kg, it averages 1700 kcal; in women 5-10% lower), i.e. up to 250-400 g. The rest of the energy healthy body will be able to develop from fats.

Water... Water and mineral salts do not serve as nutrients or energy sources. But metabolic processes cannot proceed without water. Water is a good solvent. Redox processes and other metabolic reactions take place only in a liquid medium. The liquid participates in the transportation of some gases, transporting them either in a dissolved state or in the form of salts. Water is a part of digestive juices, participates in the removal of metabolic products from the body, among which toxic substances are contained, as well as in thermoregulation.

A person can live no more than 7-10 days without water, while without food - 30-40 days. The daily human need for water is 2,0-2,5 l.

Minerals are part of the skeleton, in the structure of proteins, hormones, enzymes. The total amount of all minerals in the body is approximately 4-5% of body weight. The normal activity of the central nervous system, heart and other organs proceeds under the condition of a strictly defined content of ions of mineral substances, due to which the constancy of osmotic pressure, the reaction of blood and tissue fluid are maintained; they are involved in the processes of secretion, absorption, excretion, etc. The daily requirement of the human body for some trace elements is as follows: potassium 2,7-5,9 g, sodium – 4-5 g, calcium – 0,5 g, magnesium – 70-80 mg, iron – 10-15 mg, manganesebefore 100 mg, chlorine – 2-4 g, iodine – 100-150 mg.

Vitamins. The importance of vitamins is that, being present in the body in trace amounts, they regulate metabolic reactions. The role of vitamins is similar to that of enzymes and hormones. A variety of vitamins are found in various enzymes. With a lack of vitamins, a condition called hypovitaminosis develops in the body. A disease that occurs in the absence of a particular vitamin is called vitamin deficiency.

To date, more than 20 substances have been discovered that are classified as vitamins. Vitamins affect metabolism, blood clotting, growth and development of the body, resistance to infectious diseases. Their role is especially important in the nutrition of a young organism and those adults whose activities are associated with heavy physical exertion in production and in sports. An increased need for vitamins may be associated with special environmental conditions (high or low temperature, thin air). For example, daily requirement vitamin C for adults is on average 50-100 mg, for children 35-50 mg, for training athletes up to 200 mg or more (in order to increase their efficiency, it is even recommended for them to take this vitamin at the start, and marathon runners - at a distance). Vitamin deficiency, as a rule, affects the early spring, when immediately after winter the body is weakened, and there are few vitamins and other biologically active components in food due to the restriction of fresh vegetables and fruits in the diet.

R asthmatic fiber promotes the digestion process. In addition, food of plant origin has, most often, a negative calorie content, i.e. the body spends more energy on its digestion than the food itself contains calories.

Thus, when solving problems related to body weight correction, it is necessary not only to increase the body's energy expenditures for the systematic performance of physical activity (regular long-term aerobic training), but also:

    increase daily physical activity:

    abandonment of vehicles,

    refusal of the elevator,

    failure of household mechanized equipment;

    monitor the diet;

    systematically create conditions for additional energy consumption by the body:

    hardening procedures,

    bath, sauna,

  • strict daily regimen,

    work on a personal plot,
