I think many children have among their toys set of multi-colored magnetic letters, and a magnetic board, for sure there is. Although, instead of a magnetic board, you can use a refrigerator, which is even more fun, because children always like to use objects not according to their direct appointment... Therefore, it will be much more interesting for the kid to play with the letters on the refrigerator than on the board intended for this. And the letter games are very useful as they develop the child's speech, thinking and imagination.

So what games can you play with letters?

Game "TRANSFORMATIONS OF WORDS"

In this game, we invite the kid to be a wizard. And the secret of "magic" is this: replacing only one letter in the proposed word, you can turn it into another word with a different meaning. First choose for "witchcraft" simple words which consist of three letters.

SOK - TOK - COC. Ask your child to put the word SOK out of the letters of the magnetic alphabet. Then suggest turning it, replacing just one letter, into whatever is in electrical outlet... Give your baby time to think and guess for himself that this is a TOK. Then, by changing one letter again, turn the word into a ship's chef (COC).

LEO - FOREST. Put the word LEO together with your child. Then do a little magic over the letters - and the formidable predator will become a place where many trees grow.

AU - AU. Here is the baby crying UA. And now let's turn this word into another - as if the baby was lost in the forest (put the word AU together with the baby)

CANCER - CAR. Invite your child to spell out the word CANCER, and then swap the letters so that the river dweller turns into the loud cry of a big bird.
