A married couple with two children ordered from us. They built this wooden house with the expectation of meeting a large number of relatives and friends. At the very first meeting, it became clear that they clearly understand what they want from the interior design of a country house for year-round living: to organize the space in such a way that it is possible to comfortably accommodate numerous relatives who come to the house almost every weekend. At the same time, it was necessary to take into account the different ages, and therefore the daily routine, of all family members, arranging places for solitude, where you can calmly relax at any time, without disturbing anyone and in silence. The style was also set: the entourage of an old cottage with the preservation of the look and structure of the tree. Light country style.
The house itself from a bar has a rectangular base and is covered with a multi-pitched roof with soft tiles, the base is lined with natural stone of variegated shades. The stonework accentuates the honey-colored beams and chestnut window frames.
The main rooms are located on the first floor of the house: a kitchen, a large dining room, a double-height living room with a fireplace, a master bedroom and a guest room. In the center of the living room, near the fireplace, there is a huge U-shaped folding sofa.
Finnish Tulikivi fireplace stove made of heat-accumulating environmentally friendly natural stone - talc magnesite. The side walls are lined with chipped stone. The presence of an oven allows you to cook various dishes, including lush pastries. Another advantage, and a very unusual one, is an invention patented by the Tulikivi factory - a vortex firebox.
An interesting solution was the use of street lampposts, which fit perfectly into the huge double-height space. The walls along the stairs to the second floor are decorated with many family photographs.

A large kitchen is located next to the living room. The interior design of the kitchen is made in a classic style. A special feature of the kitchen unit itself is the hearth zone, which is brought forward relative to all other facades. The hearth here is a large five-burner Kuppersbusch gas stove, 90 cm wide. For a small group of 4 people, a dining group was installed in the kitchen.
If the company has gathered more, then there is a large dining room next to it, connected to the kitchen by a portal. As we have already noted, the family is large, so it was decided to put not a folding table in the dining room, but a large massive wooden table, at which a large family gathers.
The dining room is notable for the fact that there are windows on three of its walls, and one of them has panoramic windows to the floor, opening a beautiful view of the garden. The dining room also has access to the sauna, barbecue and garden. It is worth noting that these rooms, where noisy companies always gather, are located farthest from the bedrooms, moreover, there are no premises on them.
2nd FLOOR
Traditionally, the 2nd floor is more private, because the bedrooms are located there. But it was necessary to take into account the high audibility in wooden houses when choosing a place for receiving guests.
Therefore, all bedrooms are located on the opposite side of the house in relation to the kitchen, dining room and living room.
The main decor, in addition to the wood itself, is the main bedroom textiles. To order curtains, bedspreads and pillows, we carefully selected companion fabrics and styles of bedspreads.

Floral motifs perfectly match the interior of a wooden house, and a geometric pattern, a cage or a strip for fabrics depicting flowers is a classic solution.
On the second floor, we are first met by the study, which is located above the kitchen. The pitched roof defined the interior architecture of the rooms, and a sloped ceiling with four windows fell onto the office. The decision to extend the translucent curtains to the ceiling with an overlap turned out to be very effective. This created a very intimate calm atmosphere.
GROUND FLOOR
On the basement floor of the house, in addition to technical rooms and a large bathroom, there is a billiard room, combined with a cinema, equipped with a video projector, professional karaoke system and light music.
And a hammam with a relaxation room. The Castello lounger of the famous Swedish factory of premium-class garden furniture KWA once "settled" in the recreation room for the winter. The hammam itself is built according to all the rules: with a domed roof, a bowl, heated walls and sun loungers made of marble mosaic.

What could be better for arranging a cozy cottage? At the same time, country is by no means a simple style. It has several branches, each of which embodies the originality of the culture and traditions of a particular country. - free layout of rooms;
- the use of environmentally friendly natural materials practically without processing: wood, brick, stone, rattan, plaster;
- lack of high-tech elements made of artificial materials: double-glazed windows,;
- uncomplicated and even a little rough pieces of furniture;
- natural color palette;
- thematic decorative elements, which are often decorated in antique style;
- emphasizing the mood of style through ornaments: from a simple strip or check to complex plant and folk patterns.
The directions of country music, in view of the fact that they personify the national characteristics of certain countries, are often correlated with ethnic styles. But in fairness, it should be noted that the country interior in any of its manifestations is more calm and natural than ethnic. And then you will be convinced of this.
The central element of a country house decorated in the Russian country style is an authentic stove. It can be presented in two versions: if you recreate the mood of a rustic hut, choose an ordinary whitewashed stove, and if you are equipping an estate, give preference to a stove with folklore tiles.
Finishing features:
- Walls - untreated stone, log or brick surfaces, sometimes specially aged. Textured plaster can also be used.

The most suitable color scheme is a combination of white, yellow, red and woody shades.

In such a house there should be a lot of embroidered textiles, but without pretentious draperies: embroidered towels, tablecloths, napkins, curtains. Most often, textiles are made from natural chintz or linen.

The French look will be completed with a characteristic decor of wildflowers, baskets, jugs, pots and bird figurines.
The dominant position in the English country interior is occupied by expensive furnishings. In such a house there should be only good-quality furniture - no cheap products made of MDF or chipboard. The ideal material is mahogany. Typical items: secretaires, massive bookcases, tables of strict geometric shapes, coffee tables.

Mandatory attributes of a country house decorated in English country style are a fireplace and a stove. They should be massive and with a slightly rough appearance: untreated surfaces without unnecessary decorations.
As for the color scheme, you can choose any shades of brown as the main tone, and dark red, dark green, cherry as accents.
Typical decorations are porcelain figurines, sofa cushions, tableware on open shelves, wooden figurines.
The second name for this style is shekersky. It is characterized by the active use of all wood shades, as well as the colors of the American flag: white, red, blue. The decoration of a country house in the American country style is as follows:

Furniture in such an interior should be as functional as possible - with hidden shelves and compartments. Almost all furniture stands on special posts and has miniature round handles.
