After that, let go, check the level, wipe off the excess substance with a soft cloth and wait for the sealant to completely seize, fixing the sink in the groove.

I think what I mean is the procedure for installing a flush sink in a countertop (usually a kitchen).
For work, we need a jigsaw, a screwdriver and a drill (or another drilling tool - a screwdriver successfully combines both functions), a silicone sealant with a gun for it, a simple pencil.
Place the sink on the countertop and draw a pencil outline around it.
Having stepped back 1-1.5 cm from the edge inside the contour, draw another one.
We drill a through hole for a jigsaw file - it should fit to the inner contour without going beyond its edges.
Cut out a through hole. At the last stage, it is necessary to hold the piece to be cut from the bottom in order to prevent it from falling out.

We glue the sealing strip from the inside. Liberally coat with sealant and set in place.

There is also another important nuance: it is necessary to choose the optimal place to start sawing, i.e.
the final step in the process of connecting the holes should be as far away from you as possible. Otherwise, you will experience extreme inconvenience and even expose yourself to danger when you put your hand under the countertop: we must not forget that the jigsaw file has rather high speed.
Sealing and installation
After cutting the opening, you need to wipe the dust from its edges and be sure to thoroughly coat it with some kind of waterproofing material (epoxy resin, silicone or sealant).
On the area where the countertop is in contact with the sink, that is, on the end part of the opening, it is necessary to apply a non-greasy layer of transparent silicone (the most optimal option is silicone with an adhesive base), without gaps.
In this case, the material for waterproofing should not have time to harden. In order to prevent hardening, you must first prepare the sink for installation and sealing - click the fastening devices that come with it on the sink. After that, you need to insert it into the opening for installation, fix it with fasteners, and remove the excess part of the sealant using simple paper napkins.

7. The last stage of installation is to squeeze all the screws one by one so that the sink rests on the tabletop with its entire contour.
8. Install the mounting points of the latches in the hole cut out in the countertop in accordance with the drawing attached to the product by the sink manufacturer.
9. Screw the clamps into the designated places. There can be from 6 to 12 pieces. 
10. Along the edges of the sink we glue a self-adhesive sealing tape, which, depending on the manufacturer, is included in the kit or sold separately.
11. We fix the sink by carefully inserting it into the hole in the worktop. First, the table top rests against the edge of the apron on the latches.
12. Squeeze the sink in the places where the latches are installed. The tabs will snap into the grooves on the backsplash. After the fixation is complete, you can proceed with the installation of the mixer and the siphon for draining.
ATTENTION
The precise positioning of the latches and the precisely cut hole ensure the correct fixation of the sink.
