Everyone has long ago calculated that upcoming 2016 is a leap year, that is, it has 366 days, the month of February increases by one day and has not 28 days, as usual, but 29. We also note that in the Julian calendar every fourth year is a leap year, and in the Gregorian calendar there are exceptions to this rule.

It seems like nothing unusual, but such an unremarkable event is surrounded by various beliefs and superstitions. At a minimum, most people on earth try not to start anything new during a leap year. In addition, even statistics record that in a leap year, much more disasters and epidemics occur than in a normal year.

The most complete list of all signs of a leap year:

What happens only in a leap year?

In ancient times, there was, and some argue that it still continues to exist, a tradition - leap year was considered the year of brides. Girls were allowed to woo any guy, but he did not dare refuse. And such marriages very often broke up. Maybe this is why there is a superstition about leap year weddings.

In the Jewish calendar, a leap year adds not just one day, but an entire month. After all, the Jewish calendar is based on the lunar month, and therefore a year of twelve months lags behind the astronomical solar year by approximately 11 days.

Leap year 2016 wedding

Although many superstitions date back many centuries, most newlyweds try not to get married on a leap year. According to signs, a family formed this year will fall apart very quickly and generally incur a lot of troubles.

But, if you kind of believe in superstitions, but also really want to have a wedding this year, we present to you dates of 2016, the most favorable for the celebration.

January– this month is considered the most unlucky for marriage; there are no successful dates at all. But regarding the most unlucky ones, these are the 2nd, 4th, 25th and all three last days of January.

February– already a more successful month than the previous one. You have 4 whole days for a successful marriage. You can safely plan not only a wedding, but also other important events, on such days as the 14th, 18th, 20th, 25th of the month.

May– this month is also completely unsuitable not only for a wedding, but also for any other important event.

June– the only good day is the 25th of the month.

July– a completely unlucky month for weddings. Judge for yourself how many really unlucky days there are - 1, 4, 8, 12, 16, 19, 22, 23, 25, 26, 28, 29 of the month.

August- the only month of the entire 2016 that has the maximum number of favorable days for a wedding. Feel free to plan your holiday from 1 to 8, 14, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 23, 24.

September– this month will also be rich in two eclipses at once, therefore, like March, it is completely unsuitable for marriage.

October– the month is quite good and there are many lucky dates in it – 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 20, 21, 23, 24, 25 of the month.

November– and this month has a sufficient number of lucky days. Here they are - 3, 4, 6, 9, 10, 13, 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, 27 of the month.

December– the end of the year is not very generous with good days. Plan your wedding for the 4th, 6th, 11th, 13th, 17th, 18th of the month.

If you decide to get married in a leap year, but are still worried that something bad might happen, then the following tips will be useful to you:

Before the wedding ceremony, you should say: “I crown with a crown, not a leap end”;

A wedding dress in a leap year should be long, below the knees. The longer the dress, the longer your marriage will last;

Both the bride and the groom should put a coin in their shoes, according to the beliefs of their ancestors, this will protect the family from disasters;

After the wedding, the dress should not be given to anyone, and wedding accessories should not be sold - veil, gloves, etc.;

In order for the marriage to be strong, it is necessary to preserve the spoon from which the groom ate during the wedding feast. Wifes should give their husbands to eat from this spoon on the 3rd, 7th and 40th day after the wedding.

Birth of a child in leap year 2016

The fate of children born in a leap year was predicted ambiguously by our ancestors. Many believed that a person born in such a year would face many losses and suffering. But there were also many supporters of the idea that such people, on the contrary, are unique and have a special fate in store for them. There is an opinion that children born on a leap year are real talismans! They help their loved ones, give them luck and happiness.

And people who were born on February 29 were considered the chosen ones. They were credited with magical abilities, wisdom, and were also predicted to have a long life. They also believed that they were called upon to teach people something, to point out the right path at a crossroads. Therefore, we tried to listen to the opinions of such people.

The only difficulty for such people is How can they celebrate their birthday in non-leap years? So, the German professor Heinrich Hemme came up with a system for calculating a leap birthday depending on the hour of birth. If a child was born from midnight to 6 am on February 29, then the holiday should be celebrated on February 28, if from 6:00 to 12:00, then the 2nd year birthday should be celebrated on February 28, and on the third year – on March 1. And if a child is born on February 29 from noon to six in the evening, the first year’s name day is celebrated on February 28, and the next 2 years on March 1. And, accordingly, if the baby was born between 18:00 and midnight, the birthday is celebrated on March 1.

A look into history

From January 1, 45 BC. Roman dictator Gaius Julius Caesar introduced a calendar developed by Alexandrian astronomers. This calendar was based on the fact that the astronomical year is approximately equal to 365.25 days or, to be precise, 365 days and 6 hours. This calendar was named Julian. And in order to equalize the six-hour offset, it was introduced leap year. Three years were counted as 365 days each, and every fourth year one additional day was added in February (February was considered the last month of the Roman year).

Caesar was assassinated two years after the introduction of the new calendar, and the second leap year began after his death. And, apparently, the priests who were responsible for the functioning of the calendar did not understand the principle of introducing an additional day every fourth year. Instead, they began introducing an extra day in February every third year. Presumably they counted the fourth year from the year preceding the leap year. Therefore, for 36 years after Caesar, every third year was a leap year. Only Emperor Augustus restored the correct order of leap years, and also abolished several subsequent years to remove the accumulated shift.

As for the history of the leap year in the Gregorian calendar and the reasons for its differences from the Julian calendar, they are as follows.

In ancient times, everything was calculated by the sun, natural phenomena, in a word, everything in the world was subject to nature. The year countdown began from . And the duration of the tropical year, that is, the time between the two spring equinoxes, is 365 days 5 hours 48 minutes 46 seconds. And here the difference between the tropical year and the average Julian year (365.25 days) is already noticeable, and this difference is 11 minutes and 14 seconds, which in approximately 128 years adds up to one day.

After several centuries, they noticed a shift in the day of the vernal equinox, and this was important, because this day remained the main day of the year, since it was from it that all church holidays were deducted, and the most important of them. So, by the 16th century, the spring equinox occurred about 10 days earlier than March 21.

And in order to compensate for the resulting error, as well as to avoid further displacement in the future, in 1582 Pope Gregory XIII carried out a calendar reform. To make the average calendar year more consistent with the solar year, we decided to change the rule of leap years. A year whose number was a multiple of four remained a leap year, except for those years that were divisible by 100. Such years were leap years only when they were also divisible by 400.

Upcoming leap years: 2016, 2020, 2024, 2028, 2032, 2036, 2040.

Legends

An additional day in a leap year, February 29, is called Kasyanov's day. This day was popularly considered the most difficult and dangerous of the year. The bad attitude towards leap years in popular beliefs is associated with a certain Kasyan, about whom there are a lot of legends and beliefs. One of these legends says that Kasyan was an Angel who was aware of all God's affairs and plans. But Kasyan betrayed God and told all his plans to the Demon. For which he was punished - he was beaten on the forehead for 3 years, and in the 4th year he was released to Earth, where, rejoicing in freedom, he committed evil deeds.

Every 4 years, humanity lives in a leap year. It is this year, in February, that magically becomes 29 days.

There are many signs and beliefs associated with it, many of which have pagan roots, but there are also Christian elements. Sometimes, it comes to the point that during a leap year people give up such usual activities as a seaside holiday or regular trips to the country.

What is a leap year and how valid are the signs associated with it?

Leap year: where did the extra day come from?

Do you think that the Earth makes a full revolution in exactly 365 days? No, this is not so - the Earth makes a full circle around the Sun a little longer, namely, 365 days and 6 hours.

In other words, every year an extra quarter of a day is added. Over the course of 4 years, such quarters equal 24 hours. So it turns out that a year that is divisible by 4 (2008, 2012, 2016, the leap year calendar is based on this principle) is different from the rest.

The leap year is designed to eliminate this surplus and bring balance to the calendar. If it were not for the leap year, then in a couple of centuries the new year would have moved to the beginning of March, and this is quite serious!

Leap year differences

The differences between a leap year and other years, from a material point of view, are limited only by the number of days. In addition, people have to work one more day. Sometimes, however, it turns out to rest once again, but this happens quite rarely.

From an astrological point of view, during the Earth's path around the Sun during a leap year, a large number of troubles occur:

  • people's everyday problems;
  • man-made disasters;
  • natural disasters;
  • relatively high mortality rate.

However, one can argue with the latter - there are no comments from funeral service workers about the increase in mortality. Only slightly more elderly people die.

Leap year: greetings from Antiquity

For the first time, the ancient Romans became concerned with the problem of the calendar not corresponding to the real flow of time. In this country, it was forbidden to transfer significant dates to another time of the year. People were guided by the movement of the Sun across the sky.

Guy Julius Caesar solved the problem quickly and radically - from the moment of his reign, people began to live according to the Julian calendar, which added one day to February every 4 years. The transition to the new calendar began gradually, not everyone accepted it, but time took its toll.

Over time, the pagan calendar migrated to Christian culture. But in some regions this year is associated with Kasyan Visokos, one of the saints, the patron saint of monasticism.

Allegedly, he binge-drinks for three years, and after 4 years he comes out of the drinking binge and takes it out on people for the fact that his day is celebrated only once every 4 years.

Here, however, there is a problem - a Christian saint, by definition, cannot be a binge drunkard, plus there is no record in the church that Visokos likes to drink.

Signs and beliefs associated with leap year

Nowadays, leap year is treated relatively simply, but in the past, some people were afraid to leave the house on February 29th during a leap year. For example, there was a superstition that if you were very cold on this day, and at the end of February the frosts could be severe, then a person would certainly catch a severe cold and die.

The same applies to livestock. Popular belief says that any mistake in caring for pets on this day can cost the animals their lives. For example, malnutrition or overfeeding.

Starting a new business in a leap year, according to popular belief, cannot bring much success.

Everything is bound to go awry: even if a person builds a house, or even opens a business. In addition, all major matters should be postponed at least until February 29 - this time is considered the most unfortunate since the beginning of the year.

To appease Visokos a little, you need to do the following:

  • when the chimes strike, throw a glass of vodka out of the window (other alcohol will do, but it must be strong);
  • drink without clinking glasses when it is exactly midnight;
  • If you do end up clinking glasses, then before you take a sip, you need to put the glasses on the table.

According to popular belief, Visokos's anger will subside a little before the completion of the next track around the Sun.

Another interesting sign is associated with collecting gifts from nature. Usually, picking mushrooms and berries is difficult on February 29, but things found on the street, for example, money, can bring trouble if they get into the house.

And if at the same time the dog howls (Dog Day on February 29 is itself a bad sign), then disaster is guaranteed. You need to ignore him, saying, “Forget me.”

Leap year prohibitions

Since this year is so unlucky, people have come up with many prohibitions, by observing which you can ward off trouble from your home. By the way, nature also “participates” in these prohibitions.

For example, according to the recollections of old-timers, in leap years there is usually a weak apple harvest.

So, what not to do in a leap year:

  • You can't sing carols at baptism. This ritual itself is relatively associated with evil spirits, and once every four years they are especially “attentive” to people. It's better not to attract any rubbish. So no matter how many sweets people offer, it is better to avoid carols.
  • It is not recommended to sell products produced on your own farm. It is believed that happiness and wealth leave the house with them.
  • You shouldn’t show your baby’s first erupted tooth to anyone, except perhaps your closest relatives. If you break the ban, the child will have crooked teeth.
  • You cannot start new big things, including getting married. Everything will go wrong, this has already been discussed above.
  • You can’t buy “coffin things.” It sounds strange, but for some older people it is the norm to buy things for their funeral. Such an action during a leap year will hasten death.
  • Women are strictly prohibited from dyeing their hair. This can lead to the lady going bald.
  • Changing your place of work or place of residence is prohibited. A person simply will not get accustomed to a new place; he will have to start everything from scratch (this point is sometimes impossible, because there are different circumstances in life).

Having children joins this forbidden group, but not everyone takes this restriction seriously.

Maybe this all sounds archaic, but the fact remains that people often complain to astrologers and psychics about misfortunes that began precisely after violating such prohibitions.

Conclusion - until the Earth makes a full revolution around the Sun in a leap year, some activities should be abandoned.

What do astrologers think?

In 2016, I made an anonymous personal calendar for a young man. He was going to start a new business project, but numerology showed that the undertaking would not only be extremely unsuccessful, but could even lead to the death of my client.

Unfortunately, he didn’t listen to me, he did the opposite. The result is deplorable - although he remained alive, he lost everything to the last penny, and is now starting a new life.

Surprisingly, most of these calendars for different people, made during leap years, showed similar results. I don’t really believe in the involvement of negative entities in the problems, but the influence of the planets in these years is extremely negative.

The leap year should pass calmly and without unnecessary movements, I can tell you that for sure!

Irina, Moscow

All the predictions I made for people wanting to get married on a leap year didn't say anything good. This time is a time of failures, misunderstandings, conflicts and contradictions, what kind of marriage can we talk about?

At the same time, many of these “weds” separated even before the wedding. Since 2016, only 5-10% of those families have survived.

Mortality, by the way, is also increasing! Older people die in droves during leap years. Pray more often, do not anger the higher powers! And go to church, every 7 days or so.

Svyatoslav, Yaroslavl

I believe that leap year is a pagan Slavic belief. The ancestors endowed February with demonic power and feared it like fire.

So this belief has come to us in a greatly modified form. There's nothing wrong with a leap year, but a little care still wouldn't hurt.

Irma, Moscow

High mortality, that's what a leap year is. It is rare to make favorable forecasts at this time.

Basically, people have some problems to solve. I advise you not to violate the leap year prohibitions and undergo purification rituals more often.

Svetlana, Samara

As you know, 2016 is the year of the Fire Monkey. The symbol of this year itself represents shyness, caution and legibility. That is, we can assume that children born in 2016 will be laconic, but endlessly curious. Already in the womb they are active and mobile. Children born in a leap year, which will be 2016, will have developed intuition and a tendency to long, solitary thoughts.

Character of children born in 2016

Despite their penchant for solitude, children born in the year of the Monkey are unusually active and prone to small pranks, and if they are not stopped in time, they can create something even bigger. They are unusually energetic and if you want there to be no problems with your child, try to direct his energy in a constructive direction.

As a rule, these children know in early childhood what they want and what they expect from life, so work more actively to develop your child’s talent in the area that interests him.

Memory, logic and intuition are the main trump cards of those born in the year of the Monkey. They are more likely than others to be capable of creativity and creative professions.

Order is above all else for them, and family and friends are the most valuable thing they have in life.

They know how to combine materialism and romanticism; nothing human is alien to them. Their horizons are quite broad, while they are unshakable in their desire to achieve certain heights.

Children born under different zodiac signs in 2016

According to the eastern horoscope, each zodiac sign is characterized by certain behavior patterns. What does it conceal in children born in 2016?

Aries is characterized by low emotionality, secrecy and perseverance in the pursuit of goals. They are responsible and even at a tender age can become excellent helpers for you. Aries born in the year of the Monkey have a well-developed musical taste; they themselves are able to show interest in music and learn to play instruments. If in early childhood Aries-Monkeys are noisy and loud, then in older age they become more restrained and calm.

But children born under the sign of Aries in the year of the Monkey have one very serious drawback - their own laziness. That’s why they tend to quit what they started halfway through. If you are trying to develop any ability in your child, do not forget to periodically remind him of this so that he does not lose interest in his work.

  • Taurus

Taurus are born leaders and strive to be the first in everything. They are attentive to detail, pedantic and economical. They value good treatment and tend to trust those who back up their promises with real deeds.

At the same time, children born under the sign of Taurus are very stubborn and do not like a subordinate position. You will have to make a lot of effort to catch the control thread. Such children tend to bargain; they will definitely ask for something in return for their deeds. But bribery can easily force such children to learn their lessons. They need incentive to study well, so make sure to set a goal for your child in later life, and then it is almost guaranteed that they will become excellent students. Do not use the method of suppressing will under any circumstances, otherwise you simply will not be able to cope with the child in the future.

Taurus-Monkeys think soberly and are realistic. They often fall into pessimism, but they understand the surrounding situation like no one else.

  • Twins

The character of Gemini is double-minded, like the zodiac sign itself. They combine qualities that are opposite to each other. They are often quick-tempered, but easy-going.

Despite their tendency to aggression, they are good-natured and sympathetic. They can flare up, but quickly calm down the person who was offended by their harsh statements or actions. In stressful situations they become unpredictable.

At the same time, children born in 2016 under the sign of Gemini will definitely draw something all the time; they can often be seen with a brush or pencil over a piece of paper. Try to develop the qualities of an artist in them; in art school they will definitely become their own. With the right approach to teaching children to draw, they can achieve great success in art. Learning comes easily to them; they are not inclined to shirk their studies, despite the fact that they go to school and lessons without much enthusiasm.

Children born under the sign of Cancer in the year of the Monkey are unusually mobile and active. They constantly run back and forth, as a result of which they often walk around with bruises and contusions. Such children also have a refined taste and are picky in many respects. They have a high ability to obey, they try to be as precise as possible when carrying out an important assignment. Cancer-Monkeys are picky about people, so the likelihood that your child will get involved with bad company is minimal. They have good friends, they value order in everything. As they grow up, they become more and more independent and diligent. We can say that in the future such children will bring only positive emotions to their parents.

They are reserved, rarely raise their voice, and if they flare up, it will not be for long. Cancer-Monkeys are quite vain and to motivate them you must not forget to praise them. At the same time, such a child will not become arrogant from constant praise from you. Appreciate your child’s efforts, because everything he does for you, he tries to do with exceptionally good intentions.

Leos have a complex character and it is not always easy to get along with them. Children born under the sign of Leo will cause a lot of problems for both you and those around you. They can hardly be called good-natured, because in any company they strive to be leaders in all respects. They are willful, demand attention and are offended if their voice remains unheard. Leos are vain and can spend a long time tidying up in front of the mirror. They try to look as representative as possible so that they are recognized in someone else's company. At school they become good students, but in terms of discipline they often annoy teachers and classmates.

Such a child will undoubtedly be difficult for you, but over time, after going through a period of growing up, he becomes calmer. In order to channel the ebullient energy of the Monkey-Leo into a constructive direction, try to have a conversation with your child more often about his hobbies. Treat his hobbies properly, do not interfere with the development of his hobby in the child, especially if his hobby is useful for society and for himself. It is difficult to teach a Leo to discipline, but with the right approach he will value order and calm.

Leo children fully correspond to the type of behavior of their symbol - the king of beasts. They are quite conservative and do not change their habits for many years, especially in terms of appearance and clothing style.

  • Virgo

Virgos are not prone to taking rash risks. Most often, children born under this sign are calm and completely domestic. They obey their parents unquestioningly and spend most of their time at home knitting, weaving or drawing. They love activities that calm their nerves. Try to instill in your children a love of creativity from an early age.

These children, unlike representatives of other zodiac signs, are not very happy if they are left alone, so in order for them to more easily endure loneliness and the absence of parents, they must be busy with something.

They have a hard time in company, since Virgo-Monkeys are very shy and therefore reserved. They prefer privacy and tranquility to noisy companies. At the same time, they themselves need constant praise so that they have an incentive for self-development. Try to boost their self-confidence from time to time.

Particular attention should be paid to little Virgos born in the year of the Monkey at the age of 5-7 years and at the beginning of adolescence.

Such children are real inventors and constantly come up with different stories. If your child tells you some of them, stimulate interest in developing his creativity. Give them attention more often and talk about abstract topics, and then their potential will unfold quickly and brightly.

  • Scales

Little Monkeys born under the sign of Libra are completely consistent with their sign - they tend to weigh everything and try not to do or stir up too much. If your child was born under the sign of Libra, it means he is a born careerist. From an early age, such children try to decide on their future occupation.

During the period of growing up, Libra-Monkeys are quite active, and they prefer to spend their energy on useful things. They study well at school, but if at some point they decide that this or that subject in life will not be useful to them, then they gradually lose interest in it. Convincing them otherwise can be difficult.

They often rush from one extreme to another, thinking in the “all or nothing” category. Libra-Monkeys can be suspicious and distrustful of their parents, which can lead to a serious quarrel.

  • Scorpion

Scorpios often become difficult and problematic children for their parents; they do not like it when they are advised to do something. For them, every hobby is serious and long-lasting.

They prefer to decide for themselves what is important to them in life. At the same time, they perfectly understand those around them and can become good psychologists for their parents; more sensitive children are hard to find. The main thing is to pay more and more attention to them, spend time with them in the evenings. At the same time, you should not force a conversation on a child if he is not in a good mood.

  • Sagittarius

Sagittarius Monkeys are cunning and calculating. They know how to manipulate people so that it turns out exactly the way they want. At the same time, they are quite generous and wasteful, and nothing can be done about their carefree extravagance. They are easy to exploit, which is often done by unscrupulous people around them.

This is a very inquisitive sign, they will strive to travel and discover something new, so hide away anything that could quickly break in their hands.

Sagittarius children are imaginative and at the same time very charming. They will be favorites among teachers and educators. They are often chosen as prefects for their leadership abilities. They can often be found among the winners of Olympiads and various competitions.

They themselves know what they want to achieve in the future, so don’t even try to impose your vision of their profession on them, rather help them with advice and share your experience.

  • Capricorn

Capricorn Monkeys are capricious and persistent. Very often they can cause a scandal if something is not to their liking.

They are inquisitive and hardworking, learning brings them great pleasure, and the best leisure time for such children is sitting with a book. But Capricorns also love to walk. They walk often and for a long time.

They can choose almost any direction of activity. You will have no choice but to support your child in his ambitions.

  • Aquarius

These children tend to listen rather than talk. They think soberly and try not to go to extremes. They can be good advisers, although they themselves do not like to be lectured.

These children are not afraid of obstacles in their path, and the more obstacles they have, the more excited they are to continue what they started. They try not to change their behavior, which makes it difficult for them to find friends.

  • Fish

Pisces are temperamental, but at the same time cold and callous. It all depends on the situation in which your child, born under the sign of Pisces, finds himself. They love to spend, but they can hardly be called wasteful. Monkeys born under the sign of Pisces think quite soberly and try to keep their heads cool, so they know where to stop in time.

Pisces value honesty and kindness; they hate hypocrisy, falsehood and lies. They don’t express their grievances out loud, preferring to keep their emotions to themselves. They are quite patient and are not inclined to express dissatisfaction directly and out loud.

Pisces are perfectly adapted to creative work. They can develop their potential in any direction. If you have a child born under the sign of Pisces in the year of the Monkey, be prepared to work with his creative ambitions. The main thing is to notice in time what is interesting to your child.

Once every four years, the calendar adds one more day, which falls in February. This year is called a leap year. And there are many signs and superstitions associated with it.

It should be noted that Russia is ahead of everyone in terms of the number of leap years.

The thing is that until 1918, Russians lived according to the Julian calendar, which differs from the Gregorian calendar. Europe and America switched to it in 1582. Years ending in 00 and not divisible by 400 are not leap years. The extra leap years in Russia were 1700, 1800 and 1900.

Conclusion

What should you not do during a leap year? Signs and superstitions, collected by people for more than one millennium, indicate that in this difficult and dangerous year, many familiar things are prohibited. By violating them, you can expose yourself to misfortune, illness and even death. Many predict the inevitability of a crisis in the coming year.

You can save yourself from so many terrible signs by your own intuition, which you should trust more often than popular superstitions.

In 45 BC. Julius Caesar introduced the well-known Julian calendar, which astronomers developed for him. According to them, the astronomical year is 365 days and 6 hours.

To even out this difference of 6 hours, it was decided to add a day once every four years, which became February 29. But since 1582, Pope Gregory XIII made a change in the calculations of which year is a leap year, because people were faced with the fact that the day of the spring solstice began to shift; according to calculations at the beginning of the 16th century, it would have come 10 days earlier. This was due to the tropical year being 11 minutes ahead of the Julian calendar. Thus, over 128 years, one day was added. To avoid such a shift, Gregory XIII decided that A leap year will be a year that is divisible by four and is not a multiple of one hundred, or in the second case, if it is a multiple of four hundred.. This is how confusing the math has become for determining leap years.

As you know, 2016 is just like that, it adds February 29th. The patron will be the Red Fire Monkey, which will influence all areas of life without exception. And according to the Red Monkey horoscope, 2016 will be an excellent time for new beginnings. This is a very active and cheerful animal that cannot sit still, and therefore simply requires novelty and constant action. Therefore, those who are accustomed to a calm and measured life should adapt to a new stormy way as quickly as possible. Because only active people who strive to achieve their goals can count on success and pleasant changes. But those who are lazy and are accustomed to sitting in one place and being content with little will not have to wait for any luck or joyful changes in life. But the Monkey will give everyone a chance to change their destiny; the only question remains is who will take advantage of it. Therefore, do not be afraid and catch luck by the tail.

Superstitions and signs about leap year

Reading this rather rosy forecast for 2016, many will be surprised by the recommendations to actively change their lives and boldly let everything new into it. After all signs about leap year, it is strongly recommended not to start anything new at this time, because it is doomed to failure. Moreover, this can lead to a number of troubles.

Of course, there is something mystical about this year; someone really believes in the signs of a leap year and tries to strictly adhere to them. But it is worth noting that everything in the world is interconnected and influences each other, so the economic sign largely determines what 2016 will be like and gives certain recommendations on how to achieve success.

But no matter how it is worth writing about what is not recommended to do, according to signs in a leap year, for those who are superstitious.

  • You cannot start something new: build a house, open your own business, make large investments. From an astrological point of view, this is due to the fact that a new four-year cycle begins, and if you do or start something badly, then this trend of failure will last for four years.
  • You can’t change anything: move, look for a new job, or even get a divorce. According to past beliefs, people divorced during this astrological period will have a very difficult time getting married again in the future.
  • It is also not recommended to have a wedding: it is believed that such a marriage will not last long, there is a high probability of adultery.
  • Pregnant women should not cut their hair.
  • Under no circumstances should older people buy things for themselves when they die (things they want to be buried in). It is believed that in this case they will not live long.
  • You cannot pick mushrooms, as there are many similar poisonous mushrooms to edible ones.
  • When you hear the first thunder, you need to make a cross with your index fingers and say: “The whole family is with me (we list all the names of relatives) Amen.”
  • Parents should not invite guests to celebrate their child's first tooth, otherwise they will be bad for him.
  • Also, it is better to postpone long trips and travel.

As you can see, the list is not small and may even scare many. Believing in them or not, strictly adhering to them or living calmly and turning your plans into reality is everyone’s business. But it is worth reassuring that many signs, as a rule, are associated with past customs and observations of people. For example, with regard to weddings, once upon a time, on the contrary, this period was considered an ideal time; moreover, a girl could woo any guy, and he had no right to refuse. So it turned out that many got married without special feelings or with no feelings at all, which is why the marriages did not last long. And if you delve into history, you will find many different examples. Therefore, the most important advice is not to think about the bad. After all, if you sincerely love each other, then it doesn’t matter when you get married. Just remember that thoughts are material, you are the architect of your happiness, and your future depends on your decisions.
